As always, Motel One was pleasant, staff were courteous and helpful, room was nice, bed comfortable. I like that, unlike other hotels at similar price, there is a nice lounge and bar and the bedrooms are serviced every day. A big downside for me, at this particular hotel, was there was no kettle, tea or coffre making facilities in the room. Other Motel Ines have had this. The hotel uses dynamic pricing and, presumably because I stayed over a bank holiday weekend, it was expensive for what was provided
Jose was the best! Very very helpful and overall welcoming during my stay. David, Francisco(s), were all also very friendly and ensured that I was taken care of. Great staff overall.
We enjoyed our one-night stay here, particularly after a very tiring, long-haul flight from Australia with airport layovers in Singapore and Munich on our way to Vienna. A big thankyou to Deni, at front desk, for his professional, friendly manner and help. We really appreciated him organising us an early check-in - no guarantee - by offering us a ready, clean room instead of a room with views on a higher floor hours later. Easy to guess what we chose! We enjoyed the early rest before exploring Vienna. Many thanks. The hotel was in a perfect location, opposite Vienna's main train station. Very easy, and quick, for us to catch a train the next morning to Budapest, Hungary.
Only missing water, tea & coffee in the room
Very nice service. Good breakfast and nice lounge area. Nice little garden area outside. Rooms a bit small, but they are of a decent standard. Will definitely come back.

Not as good as usual. First I was given a room that had not been cleaned. Then I was given a room with extremely weak aircon.
Comfortable and functional room with compact bathroom facilities. Reported the bathroom fan was not working as excessive steam built up in the small bathroom making it difficult to see without having to leave the door open. Opted to eat breakfast out due to close proximity of top rated cafes. Bar/lounge area was a little tired in areas. We used the bar service in the evenings we stayed and unfortunately the bar/waiting staff got our order incorrect each time.
Very good service and helpfull employees at the front desk. Very good breakfast and efficient staff who cleared the tables for the next guests. Even though it was full, we quickly got a seat and a clean table. Very nice location, close to the city center and a good starting point for visiting all parts of the city
Everything is perfect. The location is very good for reach the city center. Lots of public transport alternatives. Rooms were clean. Reception was carinf and smiling. Lobby was great. We loved there so much
We loved everything about our stay- from the comfortable bed, the warm hospitality, to the ease of luggage check. We will definitely stay at a Motel One again!
Incredibly disappointing, I asked why the air con in my room wasn't working, my room was like a sauna when I got there. I was told cooling is switched off and it needs a management decision to change - nothing happened. I messaged on booking.com, not even had an acknowledgement. It is evident that the hotel's management do not give any thought to guest comfort, I had a very uncomfortable stay. It is not as if there is much saving to be made, running a heating or cooling system when outside temperatures are close costs very little, that changes when the temperature difference is greater - this is basic Physics(BSc, Bristol, 1978). Trust your thermostats, it is why they are there.
Just needed a stay for the night on my way home to Sweden. Quite small room but i had everything needed, fresh, clean and good for the price. Really nice and alerte people in the reception / bar. And, very well situated.
Hospitable staff ( though sometimes not in their job description) , cleanliness everywhere , punctual appointments, I don’t think I will think what hotel to attend whenever I’m in Europe , read you have lots of branches . One important thing for us middle easterners we prefer a bidet (shattaf) in the toilets . Thanks again from my wife and I Mohammad Ali Dabbous
The experience was just perfect. Everything was exacly as it should be. The only thing that we missed was a small fridge in he room.
Everything was great, just a couple of observations: 1) Sometimes I had to wait for someone to show up at the lounge bar (in the morning); 2) You could include a complementary bottle of water in the hotel room.
The central heat was stopped. It was so cold in the room. During the night, I went to the reception to ask for additional blanket.
The services are generally good, and all the employees were kind, friendly, and professional. However, it is extremely expensive—both the room (I paid €205) and the breakfast—and for a €17 breakfast, I would expect a wider selection of food. Therefore, my score is low due to the price.
Everything was ordinary. Breakfast was also not over my expectation. Guests has not been informed that the beginning time of breakfast changes on holidays.

I could not check in by my name. Moreover, I was requested to pay cancelation fee, although I stayed tow nights according to the reservation , and payed the fee at checking in.
Recently stayed at Motel One Edinburgh and had a great experience overall. The service was excellent — all of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We arrived early after travelling on the sleeper train, and they kindly managed to arrange an early check-in for us, which was hugely appreciated. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for the team. The only downside was how busy the hotel was. There were constantly lots of people coming and going, and breakfast was often so busy that it was difficult to find a seat. That said, the fantastic staff really made the stay, and we would happily return.
Top location, super clean, small rooms but not a big deal. The only thing that I found missing was a fridge.
All was wonderful
My friend and I were happy with the app and the employees, but realized only at night when arriving that there was no second blanket on the bed, even though we booked for two people. When calling the front desk we were told that they were fully booked and had no more blankets left, only towels or pillows - meaning we had to cover up with our hoodies so we don’t bother eachother in the night. Still we woke up several times worried that we had pulled the blanket off each other. I have written an e-mail about it and will wait for a reply. During checkout, another employee was really apologetic and said she wished she could’ve helped us, and we had to sadly decline the breakfast voucher due to timing-issues.
Great Motel One right in the centre of Mannheim! Clean rooms, modern look and feel - bathroom a little tight but perfect for a few nights stay ☺️ Very quiet and well sound proofed rooms- couldn’t hear anything from outside once the window was closed.
Overall the experience was good. We had a run in with a bartender that was very rude.
I liked the hotel but I couldn't make the booking online or via the app because we were travelling with a child. I found this annoying and it would make me think twice about staying at Motel One hotels again because it involves completing an online form and waiting for a reply by email and then in turn replying by email once again to the hotel. It adds extra steps to what should be a very simple and straightforward procedure, as it is in other hotels. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that there was no extra bed in the room because we hadn't specifically asked for it despite the fact that we had completed a form indicating that we were traveling with a 9 year old child and replied to the email confirming the reservation again indicating that we were travelling with a 9 year old child. The lady at reception kindly arranged for the extra bed to be set up but it should be obvious that if you reserve for 2 adults and a child that an extra bed will be required unless specifically indicated otherwise. The mini sofa bed in the room was small, really not big enough for a child of over 8 years old. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and the staff were friendly.
Hotel is modern and clean, but rooms very small, for a business hotel there is no kettle and no iron available. If there is no tea/coffee in the rooms, at least make them available at reception.

Nice and new hotel nearby the central station. Rooms are well equipped and suficient for small stay. Also rooms are very silent even towards the road. Only thing to complain that I was not able to control the air condition (too warm).

The location is convenient. The rooms are nice but would benefit with having a phone to ask questions to the front desk. Also the cleaning of the rooms could be improved.

Hotel was lovely, good location. Room clean though a little smaller than expected. Would of benefited from a 2nd bin and did miss having a kettle or fridge. Liked being able to choose the days we wanted housekeeping.

Excellent stay at Motel One St Peter's Square Manchester. Great location and friendly staff. I enjoy the clean and well maintained rooms. Comfortable stay and eco touches that I appreciate. It is my home from home, every visit to Manchester. Will keep returning, month on month, year on year! Thank you Motel One!
Overall, it was fine—relatively clean, centrally located, and comfortable. It’s a shame there wasn’t a coffee maker or a fridge in the room. When we asked for an extra blanket, our request was denied, which has never happened to us anywhere else.
In general my stay was good. I came for business trip so I did not spent much time in the room. The room is cosy but for a business trip I would have prefer to have desk with chair rather than coffee table and small sofa. I also missed the coffee/tea section in the room. Nowadays it is not available anymore in the rooms not sure why and it is very a pity that this service is no longer provided. Moreover than breakfast is very expensive (18€) and for someone like me who doesn't eat much in the morning - above all during business trip, it gets too expensive; even though the breakfast was really good with lots of choices etc... but not relevant for the amount of what I eat. I did not try the lounge/bar so I cannot comment/judge. For the bathroom it is ok, a bit small but also because I don't like seeing me in mirrors while going to the loo, not so pleasant :) Otherwise, it was really good that I could regulate the air con or turn it off during the night as it is quite noisy, and that I was able to open the window of the room even if limited, so to get some fresh air. Nevertheless, besides those points, the staff is very nice, hotel is perfectly located for me as offices are not far, and it is comfortable in general. Can't complain. I will most probably come back.
