We really enjoyed our stay in Motel one Antwerp. Everything was fabulous : the courtesy of the staff the great comfort of the room, the delicious breakfast, the lounge and the location of the hotel in the historical district of the town Thanks for all
Airco was te koud
Clean, comfy, terrific staff!
The hotel lobby is nicely designed with a lot of light. It feels spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok. The shower isn't designed well; whatever you try the floor is covered in water whenever you take a shower. It might help to expand the glass shower wall a little bit. The windows in the rooms are also missing net curtains. If you are opening the current curtains everyone is directly looking into your room since you have windows from floor to ceiling. Hence there is no privacy at all, unless you keep your curtains closed.
We had a short stay at Mote One and it's lovely! The check-in was fast and the staff were friendly and welcoming! They shared a list of prefered restaurants which was v helpful. The room was clean and had all necessaries. Breakfast was basic and good. Finally, the location was great with many shops, restuarnts and cafes around.
fantastic hotel, top location in the beautiful centre of Antwerp, very friendly staff, we will definitely be back.
Excellent, easy stay for a night-out. Good value for money. Incredibly friendly reception desk (multiple people we encountered were cheerful, welcoming and very helpful).
Loved it
Great service, very kind staff at the reception, helped us throughout our stay. A little disappointed with the location of the room, i woke up a few times during the night due to people speaking in the hallway, our room being in front of the elevators. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. We would have loved a small fridge in the room. Great location of the hotel overall and a nice stay.
We love the location and the staffs are friendly and helpful. There are only 2 things I can suggest: please put fridge in the room as we guests need it especially in very hot days to put our drinking bottles and it would be better if there is proper even small wardrobe to place our clothes.
Very nice hotel, lovely staff, nice bar and clean rooms. I would ask for a room not facing the street (that was too loud for me)
Super
Clean and very comfortable stay. The room is small but it is good value for money. Helpful staff and great location.
Everything great. Breakfast and lobby area, and friendly staff. The room could have some basic things like a coffee machine, a mini fridge, a kettle, free bottles of water everyday. Nothing wrong with the rooms, but they are just a white cube.
Very clean rooms, fast check-in procedure and very nice employees. I appreciated very much the warm welcoming to my little dog.
Super
I had a wonderful time here, everything was perfect
Excellent location and stylish interior. Friendly staff. Extensive continental breakfast too. Bed very comfortable and good air conditioning. Room was a little small which would be an issue for longer stays.
What a great hotel in a great location in the city of Antwerp. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean and really nuce
The hotel is well located in the City centre. I enjoyed my stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, but I missed scrambled eggs and baked beans. I did not try the bar.
Fabulous staff, great location, good breakfast. The attention to detail on the 60 different gins at the bar was amazing
Excellent hotel. Room very clean and well laid out. The beds very comfortable and and good AC system. Staff excellent as usual, friendly and professional. Only minor issue was the location. Great for the old city and restaurants/ bars. Poor for transportation links. Train and team good walk away. Minor as I say, but help clients understand that. Taxis are expensive (not a hotel issue!), we found Bolt to be much cheaper and faster!
Please use no fragrances in the entire hotel. We had two people with allergies travelling with us and they suffered severely and couldn’t enjoy the hotel breakfast in your hotel so we all had to go out for breakfast which was sad because we do enjoy breakfast in your hotel. The scent is very overwhelming. We met other guests who also complained about the overwhelming scent to us. I would really very much appreciate it if you would consider using no fragrances.
First time at Motel One Antwerp, and the establishment totally lived up to expectations. The inviting lounge area, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast made our short break all the more enjoyable. The lovely, courteous staff members were absolutely fantastic, always going that extra mile to enhance our stay. We will definitely return.
Great hotel in a perfect location; right in the city center of Antwerp. Clean room. Very friendly staff
Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Really like that my room faced the courtyard, so no traffic noise. The only thing that I don't like, is that the TV turns on automatically when inserting the keycard. So tired of those fish and even more tired of fish music.
Staff could not have been better. Outstanding service
Our experience was overall very satisfying. There are some minor things: it would be nice to have small fridge so we could store some things like beverages cold.
Best Motel One Standards
A perfect location in a perfect motel. Great service from super friendly personnel! I had a great time. A special thumbs up for Mr. Shoeb, who did everything to make us feel welcome!! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic location with a friendly service.
Quirky but lovely hotel, just what we like. Centrally located so easy access to lovely Antwerp
Everything was great. design of the Hotel, Room, comfort, breakfast, central location... Just a little detail : the bathroom ventilation system was noisy.
Friendly people and very very helpful. Clean, good service, centrally located...
Very nice, clean and modern hotel in perfect location. The stuff was very friendly and helpfull. Great breakfast buffet. The only thing I was missing was the caffee in the room.
Super
Room are ok, breakfast very poor, nice outside location, very high price compare to what you get
no water in the room
I had a truly wonderful experience at your property. The level of cleanliness was exceptional, especially in the room, and the towels were fresh and of high quality, reflecting great attention to detail. What made the stay even more special was the outstanding hospitality of your staff, who were consistently kind, professional, and welcoming. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Ms. Marian Mounir at the reception for her warm smile, elegance, and excellent service. She truly represents the high standards of your establishment. Thank you all for such a pleasant stay, and I look forward to visiting again. Dr. Eng. Ehab Matta
A brand new hotel with modern design built around a nice large green courtyard with cozy seating. Very nice reception with AC. A place for gin lovers about 100 varieties in the large bar. Descent sized room very clean, good WiFi, comfy bed, good bathroom, quiet AC. Breakfast buffet v good except coffee too weak ;-( Excellent location for Antwerp close to everything you want to see. Fast elevators. It’s more a 4 * hotel than 3 * For the ladies bring your own conditioner
Everything was very good and pleasant. Just one complain about the pillows: the four pillows on the bed are too soft, not confortable for who prefers to use a rigid one. It could be usefull to have too choises, one soft one rigid. Also the duvet cover is too heavy and hot; if someone prefers not to use the AC, with that duvet you will swet all the night!
Fantastic hotel, loved the design elements. Breakfast was very good and of high quality. Enjoyed sitting outside. Beds comfortable and I like 2 separate single duvets on the very large king bed. Pillows were soft and comfy too! Hotel very conveniently situated but quiet once in the garden. A little oasis in the heart of the city. Would be even better if there was a small kettle in each room to make a cup of tea!
All Good, the place, the neighborhood, the hotel, the staff, the food, the drinks, the room etc
Hotel exceeded our expectations and perfectly located in heart of city, walking distances to key sites and next to many restaurants, cafes and desert places
Beautifully designed hotel.
Wonderful hotel. Beautiful, Clean and friendly staff.
Perfect Motel one at a very good Place in town. Pretty new and Perfect Style!
Everything was great! The room, the bar, breakfast, the staff!

Antwerp to take away

Sticky
Antwerp - the city that attracts like a magnet. Whether it's the Grote Markt, the cathedral or a chic diamond motif - these mini souvenirs really do fit in any hand luggage and bring a piece of Belgian harbour romance straight to your fridge at home.

Tasty
Hand-shaped biscuits are the stuff of legend: The ‘Antwerpse Handjes’ are reminiscent of the giant Druon Antigoon, whose severed hand gave the city its name. Sweet, slightly morbid and with a pinch of Antwerp pride - take a bite.

Dressy
A souvenir from Belgium's secret fashion capital doesn't necessarily have to be an entire designer outfit: An avant-garde accessory that transports Antwerp's individual style into your own wardrobe is ideal for smaller budgets and luggage.

Hotel Antwerp
A city with many facets
At first glance, Antwerp may not be as well-known as Paris, Rome or London, but that is what makes it so special. The blend of modernity and history makes the place what it is: a top destination for all those who love city breaks!
Every corner of Antwerp tells its own story. From the historical, winding alleys of the Old Town to one of the largest ports in Europe – a destination full of variety. What people particularly appreciate about the city, however, is its creative spirit. It’s not only its impressive art history or the world-famous diamond quarter that shape the image of Antwerp, but also the fashion scene. Because if you love fashion, you won’t want to leave this city. Even in its early years, the port was an important place for the textile trade, which is why Antwerp gained great influence on fashion trends over the years. That’s why the interior design of our Motel One hotel is all about fashion.
The design hotel and fashion
The theme of fashion is already evident in the hotel’s entrance area. The reception area is adorned with hand-woven rugs, designed by a former apprentice of Dries van Noten, a Belgian fashion designer. At the hotel bar, the classic checked pattern comes to life and lets them shine in all their glory. The design at this Antwerp hotel has been carefully thought out, and the love is in the detail – as in all our hotels. But the fashionable elements are not the only thing the hotel has to offer. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, in-room smart TV, iron and ironing board rental at reception and limited parking for a relaxed arrival by car. There is also a delicious breakfast with regional specialities and, as it’s a child-friendly hotel, there is even a free breakfast for children under 6 years. For a restful night, the design hotel in Antwerp even provides hypoallergenic pillows and duvets on request. You also have the option of free luggage storage with us, so that you can take a walk into the city centre before check-in or after check-out without having to drag your suitcase along with you.
Location of the hotel in Antwerp
Speaking of downtown, the hotel is located on the edge of the fashion district, in the vicinity of numerous designers, fair fashion stores and concept stores. The MoMu – short for the Modemuseum (fashion museum) – and the famous Kloosterstraat with many well-known young designers are also within walking distance.
So the hotel boasts an excellent location in the centre of the city. You don’t have to go far to visit the most famous sights!
The waterfront area is very impressive and you should not miss it. The Groenplaats, a busy square near the Cathedral of Our Lady, is a well-known photo subject. The Diamantenviertel (Diamond Quarter) can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll find it around the corner of the impressive building of the central railway station. Did you know that Antwerpen-Centraal railway station has been voted one of the most beautiful stations in the world? And if you’ve had enough of historic buildings and sparkling diamonds, you’ll find the Antwerp Zoo and the Chocolate Nation museum right next to the tracks. Look out, another superlative! For Antwerp is home to the largest museum of Belgian chocolate in the world. So many sweet temptations…
Food and drink in Antwerp

Hungry after all that sightseeing? Belgium is famous for its waffles, chocolate, pralines and chips – here, they even claim to have invented the chip. Moules-frites (mussels and chips), are also a typical Belgian dish. While you’re in Antwerp, it’s also a good idea to try handjes – special biscuits, cookies or chocolate, either with or without a marzipan filling, in the shape of a hand. Fancy some refreshments away from the hotel after an extensive shopping tour through Antwerp? Then we recommend a visit to a cosy café, bar or restaurant as a fitting end to a successful day of sightseeing. The city is truly a paradise for gourmets.
Your hotel in Antwerp – the perfect getaway
Antwerp is a city that always surprises you. Here you will find the perfect blend of tradition, culture and plenty of creativity. Anyone who comes here quickly realises that this is not only a place to look at, but above all a place to experience. If you are not arriving by car, there is the option of arriving by train via Antwerp’s central station. From there, it’s either a 25-minute walk to the hotel or you can take the tram to Groenplaats. If you are arriving by plane, the airport is about 30 minutes away by public transport. After arriving in Antwerp, you can come to our hotel and then go and explore the city at your own pace. Whether you’re planning a long weekend or a spontaneous getaway, our Motel One hotel is the perfect starting point. We look forward to welcoming you!
