This hotel is located in the heart of Dublin within walking distance to more or less everything worth seeing. It is in a quiet area, the rooms are rather small but very clean and functional. Worth every cent!
Very accommodating, looked after our luggage whilst waiting for our flight, would definitely use your chain again!

Lovely hotel in a perfect location
Rooms were perfect with everything required. Towels a little worn however so not very soft. Main hotel well kept. All staff very approachable and helpful. Breakfast was hit and miss in getting space to sit and eat - especially as a group of 6 wanting to sit together.

Our stay at Motel One Dublin was great. Checking in was seamless the reception was kind and friendly with a group of eight we did it under 10 minutes. The rooms were clean and the public bathroom on the main floor was clean also. The best part was the bar and public lounge area. It was furnished perfectly for all and with enough space. The Bar being open 24 hrs really caters to all travelers coming in at different times. The Bar staff were friendly and attentive. Motel One has really figured out Travelers needs and customer service!!!
Very nice, clean and central hotel, fantastic breakfast, everything super!
The receptionists don‘t know much about the city. Googleing yourself is faster and more helpful. The bar is a joke as the bartenders don‘t know how to make most of the drinks on the menu or don‘t have basic ingredients in stock. There are not enough seats for the guests eating breakfast.
Clean staff were lovely and polite also answered any questions asked they were very accommodating, we would return to this motel again. Thank you Jill

We arrived from Louisiana jet lagged and feeling a bit lost. The staff did everything they could to get us into our rooms early. Both rooms were clean, and had nice accommodations. I especially liked the view of the city from our window. The location was convenient for everything our family wanted to see, and check in/checkout was a breeze.
We were a group of 5 and all got into our rooms prior to check in time which was great. Rooms were good and quiet. Really liked the bar area.

This is my go-to hotel in Dublin - perfectly located; friendly and helpful staff; well-appointed and comfy beds. Lovely breakfast spread. Just a 20-minute walk from Connolly Station.
We use Motel One in Dublin regularly as a company. We keep coming back as the experience is always top class. The rooms are always spotless, the staff extremely helpful and cheery, the location is ideal, and the price of the rooms quite competitive. Joanna the front office and reservations manager is very professional and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Motel One with my date and we had such a fantastic time there. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff and they were very helpful and provided us with late check-out. Massive thanks to Eve who was working the night we were staying, on the 24th of July, she was incredibly helpful in arranging late check-out, providing recommendations of museums and tourist attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel bar and the service was fantastic. We loved chatting with you Eve and overall her hospitality and kindness was much appreciated. Staff was wonderful, breakfast always fresh and all areas including rooms very clean. It is centrally located just a stones throw away from Ha’Penny bridge. It is very walkable, lots of places to shop and eat as well as close to many tourist attractions. Also, it’s very close to pick up locations to many bus tours/trips. Ten minute walks to Tara Street Station for the Dart trips out of the city. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will be using this hotel chain for future trips abroad. Thanks for being a part of our vacation!
Motel one is in a brilliant location right on the luas line - the staff are friendly and helpful- we dealt with a lady by the name of Joanne who was excellent and made the whole process very easy and informative we Will definitely be back and would recommend the hotel to others
To be honest, we literally only used the hotel for a bed. We were attending the All Hurland Final so we checked in at 11.30 and the room was ready. We were only planning on dropping of our bags, so that was a big bonus that it was ready. Check in was speedy and the guy was friendly. I cant really comment ont the bar or restaurant area as we didnt use it. It look good from reception area

Excellent hotel, beds comfy, quiet hotel
The location is excellent, the breakfast selection very good, and your front desk staff just outstanding. I arrived for a tour a day earlier and was able to check into my room at 12:30, enabling me to take a short nap before setting out to see the city. On both stays ( beginning & end of tour) my room was immaculate. The front desk staff were always helpful and willing to suggest restaurants and draw maps so we didn't keep getting lost. My only issue was no one told me at check in that the key card activated/controlled the lights and a/c and there was also no instruction card in the room I stayed in when I initially arrived. Those two things would have really helped!
Great location and very friendly staff
Nice hotel, comfortable room (super clean). Bar area and reception are very cozy. Staff at the front desk are quite friendly but don't have a lot of knowledge about the city or how certain services work.
We stayed for four nights during which we met up with family members (totaling 14 adults and a baby). The entire staff could not have been friendlier, more helpful and accommodating. This made our stay an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. A heartfelt thank you to all !!

Excellent hotel, all the facilities were very good, as well as being situated in a great location. All the staff were exceptional, the cleaning team were always very helpful and did a great job. Special mention to Juan pn the front desk who was great at check in amd always on hand to help when needed.
The stay was perfect, the hotel is in the best location, you have everything nearby within walking distance. All the staff we dealt with were frindly, polite and efficient. The room were very clean every day and the bed was very comfortable. We recommend it 100%

- PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Travelling from Dublin airport. Take the 784 bus from zone 21 at Dublin Airport, get off at stop 303 Eden Quay and walk for 5 minutes to Middle Abbey Street. The journey from Dublin Airport by taxi takes approx. 20–25 minutes and costs around EUR 25–30.
You can catch the red Luas (tram) line right outside the Motel One and get to Heuston station for connections to western Ireland, and to Connolly station for connections to the north of Ireland.
Dublin Bus runs a number of lines close to the hotel that serve the whole of Dublin. Select Middle Abbey Street as your point of departure, then the area you want to visit.
Car hire: There is a number of car hire companies close to the hotel. However, if you only wish to hire a car for a day, we recommend using Go Car, as that will give you easy access to hire cars and parking in Dublin city centre.
Dublin Big Bus Tours: Hop-on, hop-off sightseeing buses operate from O’Connell Street Upper, just five minutes’ walk from the hotel.
