Fantastic location!
Honestly I was very disappointed this time. I visited in July 2024 and loved the hotel. Was so happy to go back but this time I was given a terrible room looking out into fake green grass carpet. There was a loud banging noise from the plumbing above me and the bed was very uncomfortable. Totally disappointing and will not be back. I stayed at Staycity Aparthotels Mark Street my first night in Dublin and it was much better. Sad as my first visit was so wonderful.
Loved everything about this hotel.
very clean, nice staff, excellent location good breakfast
Generally a very good experience, with one very large exception.....the water pressure in our shower (room 458) was almost nonexistent. Virtually impossible to get a shower, let alone have a satisfactory shower experience. Water barely cleared the shower head, even when turned to the max setting. Since we were there for 5 nights, I probably should have complained to the desk, so that's my fault.
I am a regular guest at Motel one Dublin and find is a great place to stay. It is a great location, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the rooms are quiet and spotless.
Well placed for centre of Dublin. Disappointed only a continental breakfast and first channels on TV were not tuned to local stations.
"I arrived early due to flight availability and spoke to the receptionist to ask if I could leave my bag. She mentioned that if a room became available, she would let me check in early. I went to get a coffee, and she actually came to find me. It was so thoughtful of her to do that."
This hotel was a such a surprise! The lobby was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The shower was a little tight for a plus size traveler and the water pressure wasn't great but otherwise there are zero complaints! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and just enough to get us going for the day! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well. Thanks so much!
Loved the hotel! Dominick and Nathia were so helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
I loved your hotel, after the Ireland tour that we did I was looking forward to coming back to Motel One. Your lobby, breakfast, your service, the bar area, so great! One feature I loved the most is when you enter the room the spa music with the little fish on the tv screen is so soothing. I left that on 100 percent of the time. I would recommend a spa program that goes on all the time on the tv, so we're not listening to the same one all the time. But this one was good and I left it on all the time! I only docked a point because the rooms were quite small, but as a North American, Canadian, I know Europe's hotels are smaller. Thank you for the great service!!!
Fabulous hotel. Special shout out to Ronald for making me feel like I was with family. And a big THANK YOU (he will know what for) The camaraderie between the staff and their willingness to help with anything was outstanding. A clean happy place. I will definitely be back!!!
We were happy with our stay, very central location.
The room was comfortable and quiet. Lovation is so convenient to all of the major attractions, too!
Excellent ,great location comfy beds clean rooms and polite helpful staff
Great hotel in a great location.
Perfect location to many things. Easy walk to most places. Very friendly and helpful staff! Maintenance quick to fix problem with shower. Breakfast good, scrambled hot eggs and sausage would have completed the plentiful fare. Young area very nice and chairs comfortable to relax in. Room very small and hot despite running A/c.. stuffy in middle of nite.. not overly restful. Opened windows but did not let a lot of air in(small opening). Bathroom very small and slippery due to pain shower concept. Overall a good stay.
Extended my stay multiple times at Motel One Dublin, booking extra nights online. The first extensions were handled smoothly they accepted payment when I came down later. On my final extension, however, reception repeatedly woke me during the day by knocking and demanding immediate payment, treating me like a criminal despite my do-not-disturb signs and the fact that I had booked through a site that clearly says 'pay on arrival.' Housekeeping also ignored my privacy requests, knocking repeatedly and citing an undisclosed three day cleaning policy.I work nights and was exhausted. This lack of flexibility and respect for guest privacy, especially for someone who's already been a long staying customer, was disappointing. They need better policies for shift workers and clearer communication about their rules.
We had an excellent stay at Motel One Dublin and were so impressed that we decided to extend our trip and book an extra night. The rooms were very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location was fantastic — close to everything we wanted to see while still feeling convenient and easy to navigate. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, which had a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, Motel One Dublin exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Dublin.
Very good location, clean rooms, nice staff.
Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms.
Centrally located in the heart of Dublin city. New modern design. Quick check in - rooms were perfect - Buffet breakfast was superb - Bar open till all hours - very friendly staff.
The staff were very curtious and helpful. Great location
Motel One Dublin is in an excellent location, close to shopping, on the tram lines. One street away from buses and within walking distance to Temple bars.
Hotel is incredibly well located which is its real value. Easy walk to many major sites and restaurants. Friendly staff. I was very pleasantly surprised to be able to check in around 12 noon after an overnight flight. Nice bar. Would be nice if it had more options for dinner. Rooms are small but completely fine for one person. Bathroom was a bit difficult to navigate but workable. One not is that the bathroom door kept largely closing on its own, which could be tricky if you were in it and forgot to turn on the light outside. Or if it closes in the middle of the night. Ultimately, I just used to towel to prop it open. One suggestion: While I knew from a prior European trip that you had to put the key card in to turn on the power to the room, that isn't obvious to first-time US travelers. You might want to mention that to people checking in.. Thanks for a nice stay.
excellent in all areas
The staff are what makes the stay
What a wonderful team on check in. Dominic was so friendly and met our every request perfectly.
Good location, very helpful and supportive reception team, comfortable bed, quiet room
Wow! What a fabulous hotel in an amazing location. Greeted by Joanne and Paloma on reception who couldn't have been more helpful and so friendly. Rooms was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel whether it's business or pleasure, I've done both and will definitely be back again.
Location is perfect for access to the city. Your staff are second to none.
I was very happy with all aspects of my stay. The location is perfect. The staff are uniformly helpful, pleasant, and friendly. Joanna Ciskewja at the Front Desk is stunningly efficient and a pleasure to deal with. She is perfect. If only there was a Joanna in every hotel... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙋🏻♂️🕺🏻
Staff were friendly and happy to help with any requests we had. Our room was clean upon arrival and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Breakfast was very good and had a wide selection for us to choose. The lounge and bar area were very aesthetically pleasing, kept very clean and the bar had a nice selection of drinks for us to choose from. The hotel was located in the center of Dublin which made our ability to travel around the city much easier and convenient for us.
The room was clean, well designed, and I liked having the inner room over the courtyard. The things I would like to have is easy access to a thinner sheet besides the duvet. I run hot and most hotels don’t put a sheet under the duvet. Also the right side window doesn’t fully latch for room 513.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly, walkable distance from everything and clean
Location is 100% perfect for Luas travel and shopping areas. The room was on the small side though. I will stay again.
Everyone was very friendly and courteous
Lovely hotel very central to everything staff friendly drinks lovely rooms adequate for our needs great shower and very clean throughout
Staff are excellent - always so helpful. Room Price on this occasion was a little too high.
The staff was great, everyone was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay!
Had a fantastic stay at Motel One Dublin and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless – the hotel is stylish, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring the city. A special mention has to go to Brian, the General Manager, who clearly sets the tone for the entire place. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really stood out and made the experience feel that bit more personal. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was welcoming and calm, making it a perfect base after a busy day in Dublin. Overall, an excellent experience – I’ll definitely be back.
Excellent
very smooth check in, clean and tidy rooms. the girl on reception was very friendly and helpful
Great location, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Everything I'm looking for in a hotel.
Small rooms
We arrived at the hotel in Dublin far too early. We were hoping to leave our suitcases there for the next few hours, but to our pleasant surprise, we were allowed to check in straight away. The reception staff at this hotel are very service-oriented. They also responded appropriately to other questions and requests. This alone made our stay very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious enough. The location is brilliant!
Staff helpful. Clean hotel and large, pleasant bar area.
Excellent location with very helpful staff. Room was very clean and very functional. Very good selection of food at the Breakfast buffet . Well done Motel One.
Great hotel, great staff, great room., great location. Breakfast very expensive for what you got. Toaster wasnt working one day.. if i knew how bad it was i would not have paid the 67 euros for 2 of us for 2 days breakfast. Very dissatisfied with this.
I stayed with a group visiting Dublin for business, the staff was very helpful, friendly and approachable, especially Joanna who helped us organise a good stay for our group.
