Great room with fantastic view.
Great location, very clean, lovely staff! 2 mins walk from the train station!
No Wifi on the 5th Floor - when I raised it with reception they told me that there was no maintenance on site but could move me to another room. I just went to the office and working into the evening
The price of the breakfast is extremely high for the quality of it. Some pastries, cold cuts, bad juice and coffee can’t be almost 20€. 10€ would be a more appropriate price
Great value for money. Quiet room, comfy bed, nice bar area.
Very comfy and clean environment at an affordable price.
Good breakfast; Small glases for juice.
Perfect, very professional and clean. Thank you!
We booked a double king size room and we had 2 single beds pushed together. It was sad to see as we have stayed with this hotel allot of times and when we complained about our uncomfortable sleep the manager basically said nothing he can do. It was false advertisement of the room and the single mattresses devided through the night making this very uncomfortable for me and my partner. Unfairly treated upon complaint. Wouldn’t recommend staying in the future and would like to take this matter allot further as we paid for a service we did not receive.
Everything was perfect,we would like to thank especially from reception Juan who was very helpful.
The location is excellent for exploring the city, within walking distance of almost everything in Dublin and just a few steps from the bridge crossing the river into the Temple Bar area. Parking can be challenging if you are driving, but the hotel recommended a car park right next door, inside the department store. It was certainly convenient, although as expensive as you might expect for such a central location! Still, it was by far the easiest option for us. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and professional. The room was very well designed, comfortable and practical. The bathroom was also nicely designed, although the water pressure was rather low. The breakfast buffet was good in terms of quality, and we particularly appreciated that many of the products were locally sourced. However, there is some room for improvement. The layout of the buffet area is not particularly practical, with plates and cutlery located underneath the food counter, making things quite difficult during busy breakfast hours. The selection was also a little limited, with not many options for international guests or those with specific dietary requirements. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay, with an excellent location, friendly staff and a well-designed room.
Excellent location, very kind and helpful personnel, clean rooms, beautiful view, easy access by U-Bahn line, lots of shops and restaurants around, esp. down by St.Georg church is a very lively place. I would love to go back to this Motel One!
We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, especially because it is very close to the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The staff( all of them )were very friendly welcoming and helpful. Two members of the reception team were particularly outstanding. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the area. Thank you all again for everything.
Excellent location , very clean had no problems at all
Nice place to stay, not only the room, but also the reception and bar.
Comfortable room, great location and very reasonably priced. Check in and out was quick and easy. Staff were helpful. Only change I would make would be adding a vending machine somewhere to get a cold drink and snack.
Great location and helpful staff. Has everything I have come to expect from Motel One.
Rooms and stuff was almost perfect but I think a small fridge is missing from the rooms
Everything was great.
The experience was very good. I would like and i think that it be useful a convention with park for the car. Thank you
Fabulous stay and very comfortable room would definitely go back.
Very happy. Good value and great experience.
Amazing staff - always super helpful on the front desk especially Joanna and Aoife.
Megan on reception was the nicest most helpful person I have ever come across in a hotel - and I travel slot for both business and pleasure . She tried her very best to resolve an AC issue for me and accommodated me very well with my requested changes . A total asset to the company . Sadly the AC issue wasn’t resolved my whole stay - but I was offered a different room - but I liked where I was so I just put up with it .
Very good location , helpful stuff and the hotel is clean and new design. The rooftop restaurant is amazing ,close to everything. I recommended it definitely.
I love this hotel. The staff are helpful and kind.
Friendly ^ helpful staff. Quick check in/ check out. Cold drinking water supplied on a very hot day.
Awesome location minutes from the Edinburgh Waverly Station, Royal Mile, and Fringe Festival. No phones in the rooms with the exception of accessible rooms I was told by reception. They indicated they are not mandated to have phones in the rooms. I had a concern about safety in an emergency. They said there number is on the card your keys come in. I said not everyone has a phone. Saturday there was a lot of street noise. I could hear both vehicles and people into the early morning hours. While sitting in the lobby the next morning I overheard a female guest complaining about the noise. Our shower would vary in temperature. There did not appear to be an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bathroom is quite small. Following a shower the walls were dripping, and the mirror totally fogged up. When I checked out they said they would have someone look at the temperature issue. There was a safe in the room. There was very little room for storage. We left everything in our suitcases. Upon arrival we requested an extra blanket and luggage rack. Both were delivered promptly. The staff were friendly and responded to requests quickly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a buffet breakfast in the lounge area , however we did not have it. Coffee is available from a machine for guests. It was extremely busy in the area and difficult to get a seat in many places with all the people concentrated in the area due to the events. I found it to be expensive for what we got, but I guess it is the location and the events that were on.
All was good except the price for a room which was situated exactly next to a footpath/stairs. Every 5 seconds you had tourists in your window. That's not okay for a room over 300 pounds.
I had a lovely stay at Motel One in Glasgow. After confirming on the phone a few days prior to my visit, the manager gave me a room upgrade for 'making them laugh' on the phone. Everybody was courteous and the room was tidy. Location next to the train station was ideal for my visit.
Motel One was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also it is located perfectly in the center of all the action. The room could do with more storage space. The breakfast had a good selection of food we were over all very happy.
Basic room with no Veiw. But we just used it to sleep in so we're not bothered. Staff at reception brilliant and helpful. Bar staff lovely to.
I have staued in this hotel many times, and love the ambience in the bar area. The staff are very friendly . The hotel is clean and th3 rooms well appoinred and comfortable. I would highly reccomend this hotel.
Everything has been ok.
Hotel bed comfortable, slight smell in room, no facility to mske coffee/ tea, no telephone in room no water provided for t room.
Highlights included the location, the lounge and bar area, onsite parking and Michael the receptionist, who was very helpful and has a very kind way about him.
After having stayed at multiple Motel One hotels, I was a bit underwhelmed. The bar area looked less inviting than other locations. Also, the room felt very simple. In addition, I felt the charge for breakfast was high.
The staff were very helpful and professional Room was modern & clean Great location
Would have liked a Scottish breakfast, better coffee. Boiled egg n toast was sufficient. Lift to toilet was a bit strange especially after fresh orange juice. Sorry no draught lager. Shower too low.
Very good in everything. However, I would improve the ventilation system in the bathroom, so that the humidity won't stay too long.
Very clean and comfortable! Close to many attractions in the old center.
Your team is very nice
Super
We stayed here for two nights recently. Overall a pleasant experience. Good things: - Prices and location are good - Breakfast has vegan options and oatmilk - Room was very clean - bathroom is nice yet small Not so great things: - Rooms are way too small (not being able to walk past each other because of a lack of space is kinda a sign that the rooms were designed as too small) - the advertised queen/king bed is just 2 mattresses put together, but they give you one large duvet. If it is actually 2 beds I would like 2 blankets. My partner was on the edge of her mattress and for me to get some of the duvet I had to sleep in the ditch between the 2 mattresses. - pillows are uncomfortable (too large and fluffy) - Cleanliness in the public areas was sub standard (the bathrooms in the mezzanine level were dirty every day with full paper bins and paper towels in the sink and on the floors) - no keycard required to access the lifts which is not ok for a inner city hotel like this - breakfast area is way too small for the size of the hotel, every morning it was a pain to find a place to sit I wouldn’t stay here again due to the tiny rooms (I know they have an option for bigger rooms, but that seems unreasonable to me). Best thing was the breakfast.
good location, very near to the most beautiful places of the city. Confortable rooms and nice receptionists.
Everything was perfect. Check in was smooth, the bed was super comfortable, the space clean, not noisy. My only recommendation is to add blackout curtains to the room, as the sun would wake me up at 6am.
We really enjoyed our stay in Motel one Antwerp. Everything was fabulous : the courtesy of the staff the great comfort of the room, the delicious breakfast, the lounge and the location of the hotel in the historical district of the town Thanks for all
We booked a room for two people for three nights. Instead of checking in at 15:00, we informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving around 9:00–10:00 in the morning, after travelling by night train. We called the hotel beforehand, and the staff confirmed that they had made a note of our early arrival in their system. When we arrived, exhausted from our journey, we asked if we could check in. We were told that no rooms were available and that we would simply have to wait until 15:00. When we explained that we had contacted the hotel in advance and that our arrival had been noted, the woman at the front desk showed no understanding or willingness to find a reasonable solution. After around half an hour of discussion, they finally offered us a room for one person. We were two people, so this was obviously not an adequate solution. We were told that we could get a proper room after 15:00. The entire situation was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. We had contacted the hotel in advance specifically to avoid this kind of situation, yet nothing had apparently been done with that information. After a long journey, we expected at least some understanding and an effort to find a suitable solution. What made the experience even worse was that there was no compensation or any meaningful gesture from the hotel for the inconvenience. We were simply expected to accept the situation, despite having informed them in advance. Overall, a very disappointing experience and, in our opinion, a serious lack of professionalism and customer service.
You have to improve cleaning of the room
Clean, modern, had quiet room. Good air condition and comfortable bed. Lower pillow as alternative would be good, only high pillows provided.
