Everything was perfect
Quiet rooms, love the scent of the soap in the shower
My stay, as before was really good. Staff excellent, room clean and quiet. I have joined the BOne but didn't get the discount. Please can this be looked into as I plan to stay many times to look after my new grandchild. Thanking in advance, Katie
Relaxed.
Great hotel . Friendly staff . Great choice for breakfast . But remember no english breakfast . Only thing coffee machine bit slow .
good value,and very helpful staff.
Rooms at Motel One are always a bit on the small side, but otherwise everything is outstanding. The breakfast was particularly good (though the coffee could be a bit smoother), and we like that rooms are cleaned daily (something that does not happen in rest of Europe anymore, unless you ask). The sound insulation between the rooms is also very good. All in all an excellent experience.
Good Location, quick check in, nice room, helpful staff
Nice hotel, great location. Just within minutes walk to London Tower and Bridge. Also a lot of public transport around. There are also quite some cafes and restaurants in the area. But still it's prett quiet there. Only downside was that there are not enough places for breakfast on busy days. So we always had to have breakfast at different places. Luckily we hadn't booked breakfast with the hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at Motel One London and would highly recommend it. The staff were vedy welcoming and polite throughout our stay, always willing to help. The facilities were excellent and well-maintained, and my room was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast was awesome, with a great variety. Overall, great stay, and I would gladly stay here again.
Nice, clean, friendly straff, great location and a good breakfast
This was our second stay and the room was not as nice as the first one. We had issues with the tv and the the extractor in the bathroom was not great.
Perfect clean good breakfast and close to 2 metro stations
Incredible value and would stay there again. There are plastic cups in the room, which feel cheap. The one thing I didn't like was that I couldn't pay at the point of departure and had to pay at check-in, even though the invoice I received was for the checkout day. Apart from that, you'd be lucky to get a better hotel at this price.
I really enjoyed my stay. My room had a fantastic view and a cosy bed. Didn't want to leave...
Sightseeingtour in London
Good location, easy booking and checking in process. Friendly staff. clean and comfortable room
Apart from a broken hairdryer my room was all fine so far. But what makes me really a little bit angry is the fact that I saw on the morning of my trip to London that the room that I had booked for that day was offered for a much lower price on Motel-One Website as I had to pay. As beeing a Be-one member I expect Motel-One giving their regular guests (and looking at my bookings in various Motel-One-Hotels I can say that I´m one) always the best price. I´m sorry to say so but that treatment is not OK from point of view.
I've stayed in this hotel many times and have booked to stay again. Pleasant staff , nice rooms , relaxed atmosphere - all round good quality . Is it possible to book a specific room for my next stay in May ? I've added a note to my booking so I hope I can stay in the room I've requested . Thank you .
Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean, but the room is very small, feeling claustrophobic. No options for food, so not good for business travellers who need to work in the evening. Check in/out was good
Very comfy beds, all you need for a relaxing stay.
Unfriendly staff, basic room for high price and limited options for breakfast - no cooked breakfast at higher price hotel seems strange...
Staff were rude. When I questioned why a colleague had an accessible room (in which the shower head was too low for her to wash hair) they repeatedly said "that's what the system allocated" and weren't willing to offer alternative. The room was very small and basic for the high price we paid. Breakfast was poor. Overall we wouldn't stay again
Nice stay overall. Breakfast area was however located in an awkward area right at the lobby/entrance.
Reception Staff, friendly and efficient. Bar Staff not attentive, lack of inerest, served with a ''sticky'' glass.......no effwell ort to give a clean one, just a serviette. Room, small and looking 'old'. Only warm water, not hot. I live in Germany, and the standard of the German Motel Ones are well above Tower Hill. Excellent Bar and lounge area.
My window was facing a wall, but then again, it was very quiet. All in all the entire hotel was quiet. Elevators, were quick and the room was spotless. I left a little tip (which I seldonly do, as ot is usually not this clean). I will certainly come back.
Hotel is in a great location. Really could do with blackout curtains though, and privacy net curtains over the windows as it's really overlooked by the offices opposite so you can't have the curtains open when changing etc. All other hotels I've stayed in have these.
TV Kept on pixelating rendering it useless, no water in room. Bed cover sheet yellowing
email contact was immediate and firendly. I received a meassage that told nme tha I both had a reservation and that my reservation number could not be found. Marco Fedeli Front Office Supervisor responded both to my email inquiry as well as my online chat within minutes. I alsorequested a 'high floor' and was pleasantly surprised to find my room at the top of the building - with a greatview. This type of service is easy to remember and esay to recommend further. My firend was in town form Chicago, as was his associate. They wont forget Motel One the next time they travel to Europe.
All fine, just the desks in the rooms I find a bit small.
Wasn’t comfortable in this hotel at all. I found the staff to be very standoffish and cold. The room was ok apart from the tv not facing the bed and wasn’t on a bracket so couldn’t really enjoy it before bed. The room also had an awful smell which the staff weren’t bothered about when I reported it and didn’t offer me any gesture of goodwill. Definitely wasn’t worth the £188 a night I paid and I know I could have had a much more comfortable night at the Premier Inn down the road.
Lovely room
The hotel's location is good, as it is very close to public transportation. Rooms are small, and there is no wardrobe. If you are travelling for business, it could be hard. The breakfast area is not comfortable. Also, breakfast is average.
Nice hotel, clan tidy and very handy for work, I am still waiting for my invoice that they said would be with me on Monday night, please can you send this to me urgently
Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The rooms and facilities are clean and attractive. The staff were very helpful and professional. The only drawback is the lack of storage in the room for clothes.
Good clean hotel. Atmosphere great. Bed comfortable. Like the tea and coffee provided Does take ages to check in compared with other hotels Inside of kettle seemed to be cleaned with something each day that tasted unpleasant. I boiled and washed the inside the first day which fixed it. But taste came back second day. Presume a cleaning chemical?
Everything is good and perfect. I like this place and near to the underground station. I only have a little bit of problem on the water temperature controller in the bathroom as it keeps rotating to higher temperature, hence I need to constantly to turn it back to the lower temperature to avoid of getting burn. I believe and I hope this only happened on my room that I was staying specifically.
Had a comfy night sleep the staff were very friendly and more than happy to help I would definitely stay again
Very good
lovely friendly staff, room was available early so was allowed to check in straight away, which was a god send saving from carry bags around. room was clean and fresh. the bed was comfy, cozy room. would have appreciated vanity mirror by the desk. in the morning check out was easy and being able to check bags in was once again a god send and allowed me to enjoy the day in london. Overall stay stay at great price.
Excellent room and service
The room was clean and the temperature was easily controlled. The bathroom was a disappointment. Water was flowing freely out from the cistern when I entered the room. Had to press the buttons a few times to stop the flow. The extraction fan did not work. A shower steamed it badly
Would really elevate my experience if there were bins in the room, tissue paper, smart TV, fridge, basic amenities.
Check in at reception is taken too much time. Staff says it is the slow system. Hotel room fairly expensive for a no frills hotel. Heating in the room was not working. I staid at the hotel many times and there is a tendency that the hotel is getting worse.
I know it’s really petty, but it has to be said. The rooms are small, with no storage for your clothes and nowhere to put your suitcase, so you are effectively living out of your bag for the duration. The curtains do not block daylight effectively, and the walls are paper-thin, allowing noise to pass between rooms. Unfortunately, our keycards failed every day, and again, unfortunately, the desk staff, although very helpful, were not well-trained and lacked experience.
Great location and a consistent hotel. Clean and well presented with comfy beds and plenty of hot water.
I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and indeed, the guests staying on the booking with me also mentioned to me, “Good job on finding the hotel; it’s a great place!” This has been my third time staying in a MotelOne, though my first time in the London branch. The staff were fantastic, warm, friendly and helpful; the room was cosy and immaculate with everything you need, and the location was brilliant - safe, great transport links, and pf course, on the doorstep of the Tower of London!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bigger than we expected. Shower was great, mint shower wash lovely. So relaxing after a crazy day in London,to just sit and relax in the bar/lounge. Would definitely stay again
I had a wonderful 5 day stay, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Everything worked well, room was clean and tidy, reception efficient all good

Budget Design Hotels in London – your Motel One
While staying in London, you really should use the public transport system, which can be an adventure of its own. As well as the iconic tube trains, a trip on a double-decker bus makes for an interesting journey.
Our Design Hotel is close to one of the city’s best known sights, Tower Bridge. This is undoubtedly the most striking bridge on the Thames, with ornate twin towers that are a key part of the cityscape, and make a great photo. The Tower of London, which gives the bridge its name, is directly adjacent and best known for its imposing shape. Once inside you can view the Crown Jewels, visit the medieval palace or attend one of the frequent special events. If you’re back to your hotel in time for tea, you can treat yourself to a proper cuppa in our cosy One Lounge. What else can we offer?
Big Ben, the London Eye and Madame Tussauds – symbols of a global metropolis
Well, following along the Thames, you eventually come to another distinguishing feature of the London skyline, the tower housing Big Ben. One of the best-known symbols of the city, this 96 metre high edifice looms majestically over the Thames. Although the name “Big Ben” properly refers only to the bell of the Elizabeth Tower, it is commonly used to refer to the entire tower complex at Westminster Palace.
The Tower is only accessible to UK residents. Cross the Thames at Westminster Bridge to visit the London Eye, at 135m still Europe’s largest Ferris wheel, offering fantastic views of “Big Ben” and the whole London area. Other popular sights include Madame Tussauds wax museum, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square and the Globe Theatre.
