Excellently located for a business trip with a friendly service
Excellent location with view to financial (insurance) center.
Brilliant as always great welcoming helpful staff . Very effective air conditioning!!
I am not happy with my recent stay. When I pay 450 francs for a hotel room I expect at least the elevator to work and overall cleanliness. One of the elevators was out of service during my entire stay and I was on floor 14. One morning I had to wait for 12 minutes to get the elevator and finally I just gave up and took the stairs instead. the Stairs themselves were absolutely filthy. overall cleanliness in the hotel was was not acceptable. I would never stay here for private purposes after this visit, and even for work trips i will prioritize other places now.
We had a wonderful stay . Room are spotless and the bed are super comfortable. Great location.
Very good value for London, room was clean and comfortable and a decent shower
Exzellent Hotel! Great Air Conditioning. Staff super friendly 😊
Excellent location and value for money
great location, friendly reception, fine room
Alles wunderbar, as usual!
Great location near buses and trains. Away from downtown craziness. Breakfast was nice
Hotel was clean and modern. My room was functional with no frails. Wanted a snack, and had a 10 minute wait for the staff to arrive. My biggest disappointment was a lack of English Breakfast. I know some like the continental approach, but i love a good English. However what I did have tasted good.
Very happy with the overall experience, especially being able to be given our room directly upon arrival around 10am, which is much appreciated after traveling.
Fast check-in but registration was forgotten at first. Room was fine and checkout fast.
First of all everyone was friendly and the most important thing in every hotel: it was clean! Problematic was the bed. It was so soft and layed through that you just think with your middle. Also the room is heating up quiet a bit and the air conditioning is quiet loud. Breakfast was good but could use some scrambled eggs. For the price of 15£ per person nothing to complain for the breakfast.
Thank you so much. We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect.
I often stay at Motel One, and I was very disappointed with my recent reception experience. After returning late to the hotel, my key card didn’t work. I had to go back down to reception three times, which felt particularly uncomfortable as a woman travelling alone. Eventually, the gentleman on reception came up to the room with me, seemingly to demonstrate that I was using the key card incorrectly. However, he then realised that the key card was not working. Despite this, I was not given a new key at that point and had to return to reception for a fourth time to request one, even though I had been told it would be brought to me. This level of service is not acceptable, particularly given the circumstances. I have always had very positive experiences with Motel One, which made this situation all the more disappointing.
Paid for a city view as it was a special weekend we had a view of the hotel next door and could only see a bit of the city if we went up to the window and turned our head was disappointed as I feel this wasn’t worth the extra money we paid for
Top service. Top location. Great employees.
A great room at a reasonable, well placed for dinner in the Tower Hill area.
Very Nice hotel in a Good neighbourhood
lovely hotel, good service
No room service, no air in the rooms. Some water would be nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Top service
the rooms are good and clean.
The lobby is beautiful! Quiet, relaxing, and clean
Everyone is really helpful and lovely, rooms are clean. Good location. Not rating a 9 or 10 as I always seem to get allocated to a room where I am unable to get a phone signal. Unsure if that is how every room is or just the rooms I get given but it can be really frustrating!
Helpful, friendly staff, clean rooms and public areas, fantastic transport links
Very comfortable room with pleasant communal areas. Having the availability of an evening meal would have been beneficial, but didn't detract from the overall experience.
I always look to see if there’s a motel one in the city I’m visiting. It is my preferred choice! We’ve stayed at Tower Hill before and will do so again next time we’re in town.
Efficient check in ..quiet room .great selection of continental breakfast. Good service at the bar and friendly staff.
Brilliant location. Small but tall. Speedy lifts! Some nice cafes around and seems a safe area. Fabulous staff. Worth joining the app just to get complimentary bottle of water. Room was basic but efficient, clean and shower was great. No little bathroom bits or biscuits etc but tea facilities. Bar downstairs was lovely. Didn't get to try the rooftop. We didn't have breakfast on the end but seemed reasonable and kids were half price. Absolutely would stay again My new go to hotel for exploring London.
We had a great experience; my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. I think the continental breakfast could be improved by offering more options, such as fried eggs, sausages, avocado, and other items. One final remark: on Saturday night, some children were running and playing in the reception area, which was a bit disturbing. I believe this could have been prevented or better managed.
A nice modern hotel with comfortable rooms, at a reasonable price. One improvement in the room would be USB charging outlets on mains plugs.
MotelOne Tower Hill - home from home in London. Staff are outstanding, rooms are clean and comfortable.
Very good breakfast. I enjoyed my 2 days stay in London
The room was clean and very nice but it was spoilt by size of the room. The TV was at an angle to the bed and i kept banging my foot on the bed as I tried to navigate past it. Although I managed to check in a little earlier, it was still a bit frustrating in getting my room key as it took ages for them to find my reservation. Other than that i am always pleased with the comfort in the room and the hotel itself.
Please add irons in the room as many ppl in the city are here on a business trip
Motel One Tower Hill is my top choice when staying here for business and leisure travel. The staff is very helpful, the location is perfect to access the financial district and see all the famous London hotspots, and the overall experience is always excellent.
Everyone was so kind and accommodating!
Air con kept switching off and keycard not activating is. Please change to manual control Didn’t recognise my loyalty card
Lovely friendly hotel. The view from.the room would have been amazing but the glass was badly misted. Bug overall really good
I had an overall wonderful time staying at Motel One Tower Hill. My room was located on the 11th floor and provided a phenomenal view of the high-rise buildings in the City of London, so cool lying in bed and watching the sparkling lights at night. The room was well kept and clean. There was an electric kettle. Space for storing clothes etc. proved to be very limited and there was no luggage rack. As the bed was really huge, this was not a problem for me. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the door not opening upon inserting the room card, so I had to bother reception staff twice. As a matter of fact, I was a tad annoyed when one the receptionists suggested it was my fault. That door lock was definitely defective, I have never had any problems opening hotel doors. All in all, my experience with the staff proved to be ok. The price policy is actually a bit of a nightmare compared to other Motel One branches in Europe, but I guess this is London. The Motel One Lounge made a cozy impression, but due to my sore feet and exhaustion I preferred to chill out in my room. With Tower Hill Station, Aldgate Station, a bus into the City of Westminster right off the hotel’s front door and Tower Gateway which takes you almost straight to LCY via DLR, the location makes it a top notch place to explore London. I will be back in September!
we stayed Barcelona, Vienna and Madrid before London. I think the breakfast could be more better in London when compare to other hotels, and there should be more space or gardrope for clothes in the room just hangs are not enough.
Great friendly staff Well presented motel Nice room and shower good
Room very basic , carpet thin dark not the illusion of space , bed. Very uncomfortable, walls dotted wall paper very dated design , no fridge
Delicious, fresh Breakfast. Room was always clean, but a bit to small. We missed a bedside table. Optimal location to visit London. Will come back again.
The staff weren't overly welcoming and i was missing bath towels so had to find a number to call to report this.
Great location, great air con in the room and reception area. Lovely staff always very helpful. We asked to change rooms and they sorted it out with no bother. Would definitely stay again.
I was delighted to find a hotel in such a central location, a short distance from the Tower of London. It is in a nice street and there is a choice of two tube stops to get there, Aldgate (quickest) and Tower Hill both on a direct line to St Pancras. It’s a lovely modern hotel and everything feels brand new. The reception area is huge and there was free water which was very welcoming in the blistering heat, as was the great air conditioning. As for the room, it was spotlessly clean and just the right size for single occupancy. There was even a tea facility. What I really liked was the fact that the air conditioning was not invasive. No mounted fans blowing air at you. Very discrete cooling right through the night. Only one blip, it’s a pity that the curtains were not blackout given the size of the two windows. The room was very bright from 05.00 am. As I was only staying for one night, it didn’t really matter. For any longer, it could become a problem.
Switch on. beOne.

Budget Design Hotels in London – your Motel One
While staying in London, you really should use the public transport system, which can be an adventure of its own. As well as the iconic tube trains, a trip on a double-decker bus makes for an interesting journey.
Our Design Hotel is close to one of the city’s best known sights, Tower Bridge. This is undoubtedly the most striking bridge on the Thames, with ornate twin towers that are a key part of the cityscape, and make a great photo. The Tower of London, which gives the bridge its name, is directly adjacent and best known for its imposing shape. Once inside you can view the Crown Jewels, visit the medieval palace or attend one of the frequent special events. If you’re back to your hotel in time for tea, you can treat yourself to a proper cuppa in our cosy One Lounge. What else can we offer?
Big Ben, the London Eye and Madame Tussauds – symbols of a global metropolis
Well, following along the Thames, you eventually come to another distinguishing feature of the London skyline, the tower housing Big Ben. One of the best-known symbols of the city, this 96 metre high edifice looms majestically over the Thames. Although the name “Big Ben” properly refers only to the bell of the Elizabeth Tower, it is commonly used to refer to the entire tower complex at Westminster Palace.
The Tower is only accessible to UK residents. Cross the Thames at Westminster Bridge to visit the London Eye, at 135m still Europe’s largest Ferris wheel, offering fantastic views of “Big Ben” and the whole London area. Other popular sights include Madame Tussauds wax museum, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square and the Globe Theatre.
London calling! We look forward to welcoming you to our Design Hotel.
