Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet.
As usual, I had a great stay at your hotel. The only suggestion I have that could enhance the guest experience would be to provide a gym.
Room nice, bed comfy, shower fairly rubbish pressure, breakfast weird as no one takes you room number, you just grab stuff and find a random chair and no hot food
Changes system, you have to pay at check-in but just get the invoice at check-out, unnecessary burden, no quick check-out possible. Complicated to have the company name of the bill. Complicated to get the bill.
Room was smaller than expected, issue with breakfast no proper seating using easy chairs and low tables, just chaos and very slow clearing used tables people moving plates cups themselves to create a decent area
Great stay in Motel One Tower Hill. Very busy hotel with good service. The location is perfect for galleries, bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, on the first floor with a window overlooking the main street, however it wasn't noisy. Well sound proofed and felt relaxing. Breakfast was very busy, having to search for a table, around peak time 9am, however the pace was quickly calmer after 10am... The staff are friendly and attended to every ask. We left our bags to explore the city and returned before we travelled back. A lovely tall drink in the hotel bar, some rest and then a train. You want to get every bit out of your stay, however long or short... a reassuring home from home. Thank you!
Stayed in several Motel One’s and will continue to do so. Good value for money.
I have always stayed with you whenever I am in London, and recommend it to many but this year it has been dreadful, from you taking payment twice then the hassle I have had to go through to get it back, and then keys not working it really has soured my experience that I am tempted not to return to you. The only person that is potentially keeping my business is Mariela, I really recommend some of the others take some training in customer care when dealing with people instead of being feisty, not understanding English very well, and avoiding contact with you, I don't like coming down for breakfast and being attended by a surly male receptionist who did not have the best customer manners. I am so disappointed, and it spoilt my trip
Motel One London Tower Hill is clean, quiet, affordable and convenient. A perfect place to stay in London.
The room was clean and modern. Not a fan of the tv mount in our room. Could not see the tv from the bed very well. The tv reception was also spotty. We could not get any channels for about half our stay. We were unable to connect in the portal. Since we were not in the room very much we didn’t let the front desk know. The lobby bar was a nice place to relax after a long day.
I was allocated an accessible room so my comments reflect that. There was no bedside lighting working and the overhead lights were very bright. Neither was there any beside table. I also had difficulty in using the tap and working out which was hot and cold. Otherwise I was happy with my stay if these issues could have been sorted.
As always, the hotel was extremely clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. I always try and stay in Motel one hotels because you know it will be excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. One point off full marks as I would have loved a gym.
I'd appreciate some space to store unused pillows (though I didn't ask on the reception about this, just now came to mind). The staff was always nice and helpful.
First time staying in a Motel One and. would 100% look at them in cities in the future. Stayed for business and this hotel was a preferred rate for our organisation. So reasonable for central London. Welcome was warm and kind. Check in was super easy. Room was perfect. Great bed and amenities. Wifi worked perfectly. Extremely quiet. Easy to get down to the Thames across Tower Bridge and also walking distance to Spitalfields. Aldgate tube is also so close. Would 100% stay again.
Breakfast needs more seating.
One needs to be aware that the rooms are tiny, while clean and well maintained. Fast and dependable lifts. Great European-style breakfast buffet. Security not great - anyone can just walk past the front desk staff, who as often as not have their face buried in a screen, then access and use the lifts. access and use the lifts.
Windows cannot be open. otherwise its perfect for the price. No warm breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage.. nothing.
It was a great stay, many thanks!
Hotel was very expensive for what it was, surprised that there was no bottled water in the room or even an iron or ironing bored.
We have used this and other Motel One hotels in the UK a number of times and have always had good experiences. This was equally as good. The only thing we feel worth mentioning that was not as good as our previous visits was the new reusable cups for tea and coffee. Using them made our tea taste strange and unpleasant. So much so we only drank one cup of tea in them. We understand that they are good for the environment, but do not think they are a good idea. Also, we didn’t think they are very hygienic assuming that they are probably only rinsed out in the bathroom sink by the room maid. Apart from the above we very much enjoyed our stay!
Overall great staff, good location and nice comfortable rooms. Bit slow at check in time as only one on the desk and served people who arrived after us first because of lack of clear queueing system. Would be good to have an additional bin in the room (only one in bathroom)
Great location! The people in the reception were very nice and helpful. Will come back again.
Your staff are welcoming and caring. It makes for a very relaxing experience. Rooms are comfortable, well maintained and very clean. Excellent breakfast selection.
Nice receptionist nice welcome lovely views
Nice room, polite staff and beautiful design, very central in London - highly recommend.
unfortunately my room had a strong smell of mold from the bathroom - these should be taken care of urgently
My stay was very nice, but my room war too near to the elevator. I heard it all night and could not sleep.
Excellent modern and hype hotel
Staff at reception doesn’t seem too engaged or interested in working with guests. Not unfriendly or mean but no “welcome” no “smile” or eye contact. Further, I stay there at least once per month for 2 nights and have done that for over 5 years. I have stopped asking for the bottle of water since that is only when you have booked online(!) Could be nice with a proper chair in the room. No cups in the bathroom anymore? Chairs in the lobby are a bit too large for the tables. All in all, the hotel does the job: suitable location, a bed, a bathroom and a good breakfast. But unfortunately not more than that.
The Mattresses in room 1301 is passed its best
Clean, crisp and comfy stay excellent service
Great stay great price great location
Exactly what we needed at a reasonable price. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Very efficient clearing dirty breakfast plates to make room for new arrivals.
I really love staying at Motel One Tower Hill. Excellent location, interior design, comfortable bed & great breakfast. The only problem is the price! Simply too expensive for a break in April!
Great location for Tower of London, Tower Bridge. Rooms compact but have everything you need. Great continental breakfast.
The staff is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. I noticed that they were well-staffed and were greeting people as they came down in the morning to ask if they were there for breakfast or to check out. One of my favourite things is that you can turn the room temperature down to 19 C (66 F), and it actually feels like that temperature, though one more degree would be nice. In other hotels, even when you turn the thermostat down, it doesn't always seem to work well. The breakfast (£15 for continental) is competitively priced and includes a few protein options (soft-boiled eggs, yoghurt) in addition to oatmeal, pastries, toast, and beverages. By comparison, I usually see continental breakfast at hotels for at least £20 in London. I appreciate the coffee & tea in the room, especially the reusable cups/mugs, though it would be nice to have a water glass as well. The rooms are very reasonably priced, particularly with a beOne account. Motel One has become one of the hotels we look for when staying in cities.
Lovely quiet room 211 - would love to have that corner next time as its quiet. Always excellent and always a warm welcome
As always brilliant great staff v helpful good welcome. New member of staff struggled a bit at check but colleagues helped tactfully.
Great staff, funky reception and bar area, great location, rooms clean and quite. Love the Eco ethos
£300 for a room little bigger than a coffin!! when i was younger i stayed in a formula one hotel, it was £12:00 a night, this was £300 and was even poorer standard!!
it would be great to be able to open a window (for some fresh air) from time to time...
Excellent view and bright enough in the room for work. Clean and very friendly service staff (e.g. Rebecca),
Honestly, a lovely room with everything we needed. Fantastic views. Comfy bed! There was a little noise from the service lift and the aircon, but we had earplugs for that. Staff were very friendly. We didn't go for the breakfast as we found it a little expensive. Would stay again! Dom
Water pressure in the shower is low. Other than that. Fantastic!
Everything was perfect
Quiet rooms, love the scent of the soap in the shower
My stay, as before was really good. Staff excellent, room clean and quiet. I have joined the BOne but didn't get the discount. Please can this be looked into as I plan to stay many times to look after my new grandchild. Thanking in advance, Katie
Relaxed.

Hotel London Tower Hill
You’re welcomed to the majestic Motel One London - Tower Hill in the UK capital with a hearty patriotic greeting. At reception, a collage shows the history of the coronation ceremony, and in the lobby, the hexagonal form of the illuminated exterior façade is presented as a diamond symbol. Breakfast in regal style in the One Lounge, the decoration of which is inspired by the nearby Tower of London. Your healthy and organic breakfast is served in chivalrous fashion in front of a historic backdrop and eaten on specially-made real leather benches with Chesterfield-style upholstery. Cosy box-spring beds ensure a sovereign sleep, crowning your stay in our Design Hotel. Welcome to London!
Our affordable hotel is in the centre of the city, close to the Tower of London, which for centuries was used as a jail for prisoners of the Crown, making it the setting for numerous dramas through the ages. Just 500 metres from the hotel is the Tower Hill London Underground station, your access point to the whole city. But this hotel also makes a great base from which to explore on foot. Only a short stroll away is Tower Bridge; stroll along the Thames from here to reach the heart of tourists’ London, with all the sights essential to your visit, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. We and the city are waiting to welcome you.
