No room service, no air in the rooms. Some water would be nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Top service
the rooms are good and clean.
The lobby is beautiful! Quiet, relaxing, and clean
Everyone is really helpful and lovely, rooms are clean. Good location. Not rating a 9 or 10 as I always seem to get allocated to a room where I am unable to get a phone signal. Unsure if that is how every room is or just the rooms I get given but it can be really frustrating!
Helpful, friendly staff, clean rooms and public areas, fantastic transport links
Very comfortable room with pleasant communal areas. Having the availability of an evening meal would have been beneficial, but didn't detract from the overall experience.
I always look to see if there’s a motel one in the city I’m visiting. It is my preferred choice! We’ve stayed at Tower Hill before and will do so again next time we’re in town.
Efficient check in ..quiet room .great selection of continental breakfast. Good service at the bar and friendly staff.
Brilliant location. Small but tall. Speedy lifts! Some nice cafes around and seems a safe area. Fabulous staff. Worth joining the app just to get complimentary bottle of water. Room was basic but efficient, clean and shower was great. No little bathroom bits or biscuits etc but tea facilities. Bar downstairs was lovely. Didn't get to try the rooftop. We didn't have breakfast on the end but seemed reasonable and kids were half price. Absolutely would stay again My new go to hotel for exploring London.
We had a great experience; my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. I think the continental breakfast could be improved by offering more options, such as fried eggs, sausages, avocado, and other items. One final remark: on Saturday night, some children were running and playing in the reception area, which was a bit disturbing. I believe this could have been prevented or better managed.
A nice modern hotel with comfortable rooms, at a reasonable price. One improvement in the room would be USB charging outlets on mains plugs.
MotelOne Tower Hill - home from home in London. Staff are outstanding, rooms are clean and comfortable.
Very good breakfast. I enjoyed my 2 days stay in London
The room was clean and very nice but it was spoilt by size of the room. The TV was at an angle to the bed and i kept banging my foot on the bed as I tried to navigate past it. Although I managed to check in a little earlier, it was still a bit frustrating in getting my room key as it took ages for them to find my reservation. Other than that i am always pleased with the comfort in the room and the hotel itself.
Please add irons in the room as many ppl in the city are here on a business trip
Motel One Tower Hill is my top choice when staying here for business and leisure travel. The staff is very helpful, the location is perfect to access the financial district and see all the famous London hotspots, and the overall experience is always excellent.
Everyone was so kind and accommodating!
Air con kept switching off and keycard not activating is. Please change to manual control Didn’t recognise my loyalty card
Lovely friendly hotel. The view from.the room would have been amazing but the glass was badly misted. Bug overall really good
I had an overall wonderful time staying at Motel One Tower Hill. My room was located on the 11th floor and provided a phenomenal view of the high-rise buildings in the City of London, so cool lying in bed and watching the sparkling lights at night. The room was well kept and clean. There was an electric kettle. Space for storing clothes etc. proved to be very limited and there was no luggage rack. As the bed was really huge, this was not a problem for me. Unfortunately, I had some issues with the door not opening upon inserting the room card, so I had to bother reception staff twice. As a matter of fact, I was a tad annoyed when one the receptionists suggested it was my fault. That door lock was definitely defective, I have never had any problems opening hotel doors. All in all, my experience with the staff proved to be ok. The price policy is actually a bit of a nightmare compared to other Motel One branches in Europe, but I guess this is London. The Motel One Lounge made a cozy impression, but due to my sore feet and exhaustion I preferred to chill out in my room. With Tower Hill Station, Aldgate Station, a bus into the City of Westminster right off the hotel’s front door and Tower Gateway which takes you almost straight to LCY via DLR, the location makes it a top notch place to explore London. I will be back in September!
we stayed Barcelona, Vienna and Madrid before London. I think the breakfast could be more better in London when compare to other hotels, and there should be more space or gardrope for clothes in the room just hangs are not enough.
Great friendly staff Well presented motel Nice room and shower good
Room very basic , carpet thin dark not the illusion of space , bed. Very uncomfortable, walls dotted wall paper very dated design , no fridge
Delicious, fresh Breakfast. Room was always clean, but a bit to small. We missed a bedside table. Optimal location to visit London. Will come back again.
The staff weren't overly welcoming and i was missing bath towels so had to find a number to call to report this.
Great location, great air con in the room and reception area. Lovely staff always very helpful. We asked to change rooms and they sorted it out with no bother. Would definitely stay again.
I was delighted to find a hotel in such a central location, a short distance from the Tower of London. It is in a nice street and there is a choice of two tube stops to get there, Aldgate (quickest) and Tower Hill both on a direct line to St Pancras. It’s a lovely modern hotel and everything feels brand new. The reception area is huge and there was free water which was very welcoming in the blistering heat, as was the great air conditioning. As for the room, it was spotlessly clean and just the right size for single occupancy. There was even a tea facility. What I really liked was the fact that the air conditioning was not invasive. No mounted fans blowing air at you. Very discrete cooling right through the night. Only one blip, it’s a pity that the curtains were not blackout given the size of the two windows. The room was very bright from 05.00 am. As I was only staying for one night, it didn’t really matter. For any longer, it could become a problem.
Very nice hotel, super friendly staff!!!
Motel One is a great, value for money hotel, with excellent staff and facilities. The one negative piece of feedback was the smell in the room. On arrival, the room smelt very sweaty and the drains smelt bad. The cleaner did attend to out something down the shower but it didn't rectify the problem.
Staff were very welcoming at Reception; breakfast was nice though basic (lovely fresh pastries); however the mattress and pillows need replacing - the mattress is old so you fall into the middle. Did not make for a good nights sleep. May have been unlucky if the hotel is undergoing a refresh?
Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet.
As usual, I had a great stay at your hotel. The only suggestion I have that could enhance the guest experience would be to provide a gym.
Room nice, bed comfy, shower fairly rubbish pressure, breakfast weird as no one takes you room number, you just grab stuff and find a random chair and no hot food
Changes system, you have to pay at check-in but just get the invoice at check-out, unnecessary burden, no quick check-out possible. Complicated to have the company name of the bill. Complicated to get the bill.
Room was smaller than expected, issue with breakfast no proper seating using easy chairs and low tables, just chaos and very slow clearing used tables people moving plates cups themselves to create a decent area
Great stay in Motel One Tower Hill. Very busy hotel with good service. The location is perfect for galleries, bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, on the first floor with a window overlooking the main street, however it wasn't noisy. Well sound proofed and felt relaxing. Breakfast was very busy, having to search for a table, around peak time 9am, however the pace was quickly calmer after 10am... The staff are friendly and attended to every ask. We left our bags to explore the city and returned before we travelled back. A lovely tall drink in the hotel bar, some rest and then a train. You want to get every bit out of your stay, however long or short... a reassuring home from home. Thank you!
Stayed in several Motel One’s and will continue to do so. Good value for money.
I have always stayed with you whenever I am in London, and recommend it to many but this year it has been dreadful, from you taking payment twice then the hassle I have had to go through to get it back, and then keys not working it really has soured my experience that I am tempted not to return to you. The only person that is potentially keeping my business is Mariela, I really recommend some of the others take some training in customer care when dealing with people instead of being feisty, not understanding English very well, and avoiding contact with you, I don't like coming down for breakfast and being attended by a surly male receptionist who did not have the best customer manners. I am so disappointed, and it spoilt my trip
Motel One London Tower Hill is clean, quiet, affordable and convenient. A perfect place to stay in London.
The room was clean and modern. Not a fan of the tv mount in our room. Could not see the tv from the bed very well. The tv reception was also spotty. We could not get any channels for about half our stay. We were unable to connect in the portal. Since we were not in the room very much we didn’t let the front desk know. The lobby bar was a nice place to relax after a long day.
I was allocated an accessible room so my comments reflect that. There was no bedside lighting working and the overhead lights were very bright. Neither was there any beside table. I also had difficulty in using the tap and working out which was hot and cold. Otherwise I was happy with my stay if these issues could have been sorted.
As always, the hotel was extremely clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. I always try and stay in Motel one hotels because you know it will be excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. One point off full marks as I would have loved a gym.
I'd appreciate some space to store unused pillows (though I didn't ask on the reception about this, just now came to mind). The staff was always nice and helpful.
First time staying in a Motel One and. would 100% look at them in cities in the future. Stayed for business and this hotel was a preferred rate for our organisation. So reasonable for central London. Welcome was warm and kind. Check in was super easy. Room was perfect. Great bed and amenities. Wifi worked perfectly. Extremely quiet. Easy to get down to the Thames across Tower Bridge and also walking distance to Spitalfields. Aldgate tube is also so close. Would 100% stay again.
Breakfast needs more seating.
One needs to be aware that the rooms are tiny, while clean and well maintained. Fast and dependable lifts. Great European-style breakfast buffet. Security not great - anyone can just walk past the front desk staff, who as often as not have their face buried in a screen, then access and use the lifts. access and use the lifts.
Windows cannot be open. otherwise its perfect for the price. No warm breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage.. nothing.
It was a great stay, many thanks!

Our affordable hotel is in the centre of the city, close to the Tower of London, which for centuries was used as a jail for prisoners of the Crown, making it the setting for numerous dramas through the ages. Only a short stroll away is Tower Bridge; stroll along the Thames from here to reach the heart of tourists’ London, with all the sights essential to your visit, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.
