Hotel Münster: Centrally located in the heart of the Old Town

Situated in the heart of Münster’s historic old town, just around 700 metres or an 8-minute walk from the main railway station, the Hotel Münster is the ideal base for city breaks, cultural outings and business trips. Its location in the pedestrian zone between Salzstraße and Ludgeristraße is hard to beat: the Prinzipalmarkt is just 300 metres away, whilst the Historic Town Hall, with its famous Peace Hall, is about a 5-minute walk away. St Paul’s Cathedral, St Lamberti’s Church and the Pablo Picasso Art Museum in Münster are also just a few steps away. For those who prefer a bit of greenery, it’s a 14-minute walk to the Aasee, Münster’s popular recreational area with its promenade and water bus. The University’s Botanical Gardens are about a 20-minute walk away, whilst the Allwetterzoo is around 3 kilometres away.

Münster is regarded as Germany’s number one cycling city – the cycle path around the Old Town is one of the most beautiful cycle routes in the country and connects almost all the sights. Whether it’s a shopping trip along the Salzstraße, sightseeing between the cathedral and the town hall, or a business meeting in the city centre: thanks to its central location, the main destinations are easily accessible on foot, without the need for a car.
