Hotel Erfurt-City
Not a Motel One. But part of the family.
The Hotel Erfurt-City is now part of our family, operating as an independent hotel with its own unique character.
Centrally located between the Old Town and the main railway station, it combines its prime location with what you can always count on from us: stylish design – just not a Motel One – genuine service and fair prices.
We look forward to welcoming you.

The short-haired, thin man at the counter was very friendly. He greeted me and kindly told me how to call a taxi to the airport. I'm very grateful to him.
Great location. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely decor. Helpful friendly staff.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, really nice building and lovely staff
The hotelis efficient and the staff outstanding
friendly, clean, comfortable, roof bar v nice. Would have been nice to have a decent sized glass in the room to drink the water you gave us (we got one from the bar) - would be good to get a bottle of water each day (we asked on day 2 but it was a no). Breakfast a little pricey and hard to find a table for 4 people.
The location was amazing, the room was nice but pretty average. Staff could be more friendly, food was expensive for the quality presented. Not many facilities
We stayed for 1 night only. The employees were all very nice, especially the young woman from Argentina who just joined Motel One Copenhagen was extremely friendly. We had 2 rooms of a higher category. They were very spacious for Motel one standard. Prices are very high, but this is probably normal for Copenhagen in August.
The stay was very good as usual. However, parking is an issue. There are only a very limited number of parking spaces at the motel (strange or funny to call yourself motel without parking). This was my fourth stay at the motel and there was no parking available at my last two stays. The recommended alternative parking is about 2 km from the hotel - four metro stops and total 500 meters walk to get back to the motel.
Clean room, friendly stuff, central, not far from central station, not far from "Hafencity"
Location is great, lobby etc is nice but I had the smallest room I have ever stayed in or seen. I fel very claustrophobic.. should have asked for a different room as sleeping was difficult, I felt I could not breathe!
We are paying alot of money but we don't have at least tea or cafe machine. For one glass tea must pay 3 euros.
1. The hotel encourages guests to opt out of cleaning on a daily basis, for environmental reasons. Cleaning staff aggressively knock on the door shortly after 9h every morning to ask whether cleaning is needed (even on checking out days), notwithstanding that personal preferences were clearly stated during check in. 2. There is a smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom.
The hotel's location is the reason I choose to stay here as it is easy to reach by public transport. The decor is pleasant and the rooms are comfortable. I have been coming here for years but the friendliness of the staff is not what it was, so it has lost its charm and that affects the atmosphere.
Honestly speaking, the room was not as clean as I expected, and not wide enough to open my luggages for 12 days trip. I had a problem on shower, during taking shower, suddenly shower head and horse came off, therefore I had to change my room during my 3 nights stay.
I loved everything at your hotel, like every time I stay at Motel One. I would just like that breakfast is served a bit later (to 11 would be great). See you soon
Liz and the Hotel Manager Erwin were simple great. They made our stay comfortable and understood our needs. Thumbs up for Liz for having an Own it Solve it Attitude.
The hotel was excellent. Well presented and serviced by friendly helpful staff. Very good value
The staffs were very nice. The room was very good The air conditioning was excellent during the summer season The room had cleaned everyday
Room not vacuumed (candy or plastic or some such on the carpet). Shower tub very slippery and raked at a slope to the drain and almost broke the glass curtain when I slipped. key light thing not functioning when I left and the lights were on with or without the key - so like, why not just leave it that way?
Very convenient to the train station yet very modern and clean--and an excellent value.
Great experience at reception. Room was a bit labyrinthine but I did ask for a quiet one. Room fine - as expected. It’s a great place if you’re catching a train from Piccadilly. Slight pong in bathroom sadly - is same at other locations in the city. Also telly picture was wobbly. Apart from that, all good. Thanks
This hotel was in a great location for a three night stay in Berlin! It was easy to get to from the train, staff were nice, and rooms were clean! I would stay here again!
Everything was perfect!
The Copenhagen hotel was the same reliable quality and service we've come to expect from Motel One across Europe. Thank you :)
Very friendly reception. Great and fast check in. Clean and adequately equipped room. Generous breakfast buffet.
Location is central, room was clean, but totally overrated. Situated in the basement the window could only be closed or open. A ceiling fan doesnt really help. All in all way too expensive for the quality offered.
Always a pleasure to visit.
Best hotel stay in my two-week urban tour of western central Europe...I was given an unexpected upgrade to a gorgeous room on the top floor...truly spectacular. Thank you!!
Location is great. Outside a bit dirty streets. Front desk service not polite. Front desk staff feels tired of everything. Room with a view was great.
Great location, spacious room. Room did get warm during the night and too much outside noise to open windows. Noise not an issue with windows closed.
It was a pleasant stay with high standards,
our room had no hanging space at all. This is really not acceptable in a hotel that costs 300 pounds a night.
This was the first Motel One we stayed at amongst 3 during our 4 week Europe trip. This one in Amsterdam gave us an excellent first impression of this hotel chain and we were definitely impressed. The hotel is close to public transport (right near Amsterdam Rai station & Europaplein), it was incredibly easy to get around. This is our 2nd time in Amsterdam and enjoy the quieter areas more on the outskirts rather than in the centre. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and decently sized. Beds were very comfortable and we always had a great sleep at all the Motel Ones we stayed at. I've already been recommending this chain to friends and family who are planning a future trip!
It's always relaxing when dealing with your company, all the way from making a booking until the time I leave - keep up the great servcie!
Brilliant location. Clean, comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend
Position super, room very pretty, personale very kind’
Nice staying in Copenhagen! Motel One is a good hotel to stay…very close to main attractions of this beautiful city and close to the Central train station! Breakfast had a lot of variety & very good for my personal Taste! The only thing that I can suggest for improvement would be include a minibar, a cafe/cha machine and a vault for keep personal belongings.
Everything was fine. For breakfast the choice can be bigger, comparable to Motel One in Zuffenhausen
Good location. Basic but practical
The overall experience was very nice. The room is well-equipped. Everything is working properly. I really like the welcome ambient sound and image played on the TV in the room. They are very soothing and relaxing. The location is also great. The only small imperfection is that the noise of the AC is a little bit loud.
Room 0.09 was really not pleasant. Just next to the breakfast area and on the outside where people are having a drink.
Good room with a great view of the city, clean, had everything I needed but smelt slightly of something antisceptic. Friendly, helpful staff, very good breakfast and a cheese toastie from the bar around midnight was also very welcome!
Eveyone so incredibly nice and it was so sweet and clean but in room 222 there’s vent at night that annoys extremely that’s seems to be only In that room? It’s not the AC!
Check and check out was too slow. Not enough staff as I needed a receipt, so I could not check out without a person. A kettle in the room would be good, although the bar did provide a cup of hot water on request. When I asked whether there was a kettle in the room at reception, it would be helpful for the reception to offer hot water from the bar.
Toll
it was a good idea to stay here, as the hotel is located in the city center. many shops, restaurants, visiting places are only a few steps away. the room was clean and tidy, everything was properly prepared. it was a flawless experience
The room and hotel in general was modern and comfortable and a lovely place to stay. I was surprised that there wasn’t an iron in the room. I was also disappointed in the breakfast. The cost of the breakfast was quite a lot and to find that it was only a continental breakfast was not impressive. For that cost a full cooked breakfast is the standard which was not met.
One of the best hotels ive stayed in, room was fantastic with free WiFi and walk in shower is great to. Ncp car park next-door and is discounted by the hotel. The bonus for me is that when it was getting built I fitted out the lift interiors so was great to see them again.
I had a really great stay – everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional, while also being discreet and never intrusive, which is exactly how hotel service should be. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a restaurant, but I really appreciated the complimentary coffee and drinks available in the lobby. It’s such a nice touch to be able to grab a coffee to go and head out into the city for a day of sightseeing. I think Motel One should seriously consider making this a permanent feature across its hotels. It’s a small gesture, but it makes a real difference – having a coffee to take with you as you leave the hotel is a lovely way to start the day.
The bedroom was very clean and well appointed. Towels were fluffy and fresh. I do wish you would have a waste bin in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. A table at each side of the bed would be appreciated.
