Hotel Erfurt-City
Not a Motel One. But part of the family.
The Hotel Erfurt-City is now part of our family, operating as an independent hotel with its own unique character.
Centrally located between the Old Town and the main railway station, it combines its prime location with what you can always count on from us: stylish design – just not a Motel One – genuine service and fair prices.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Reviews of all Motel One hotels
Locations, rooms even though a little smaller than usual, view over ground zero site, cleanliness, staff support, and outstanding breakfast all have assured that we will be back again!
It was an excellent stay, very comfortable and very welcome I felt.
The Cloud One Gdansk was advertised as a two star hotel. If I didn't know in advance, I would've guessed it's a 4 star hotel easily. The building is new, everything was clean and looking good, our room 669 was AMAZING for the price (only downside was the lack of a small fridge, but you can't always get everything so that's OK). If/when I travel to Gdansk again, I will absolutely choose your hotel again!
Super perfect service! The parking isn't cheap, but your car stays safe.
Excellent hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money and great location. Strongly recommend!😊
Affordable and comfortable
A great location of the hotel, very helpful staff, a clean and comfortable room, I will definitely come back.
As always, my stay was lovely. However, for this price, I would expect individual soaps/shampoos instead of having to share bigger bottles with other guests. I cannot imagine that there is a way to ensure that the bigger bottles haven‘t been tampered with.
It was very cold in the rooms, I mention this to reception and told me that they cant turn it on.
All great, Federico who served us at the bar was amazing. The fan in the room was nice, but mostly because it was otherwise very warm and stuffy
There was a Fire accident in June 2026. The Roof Top Bar an the Breakfast room were closed. It would habe nice, when you have informed us with a Mail .
Lovely hotel, very clean, polite staff and great bars. Very accommodating of my request for the 9th floor. I would like to see more English language television or easier ways to connect devices like iPads to the tv. There was Bluetooth for music but not casting. Also, maybe a mini fridge in the rooms.
I would especially like to thank the gentleman at the reception who was working at around 2 p.m. on September 7. He was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated his kindness and warm hospitality. He made us feel very welcome, and I am very grateful for his help. Thank you!
Customer Friendly reception!
Everything was as we expected, not first time in this hotel. Fully recommended. There is only one thing that could be improved, mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cool.
Clean, very central and very nice staff
Check-in was flawless, and the front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was large. The bed and linen were very clean. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and very clean. Breakfast was copious, with very good food options.
All in all, it was very good. The windows to the road were very dirty on the outside. The tv was also unplugged.
Wonderful Places for a Week in NYC With our 18 y old daughter
Excellent and welcoming staff! Good location with various metro and bus lines right next to the hotel. Clean and stylishly decorated rooms equipped with the necessary (thanks for not forgetting about a suitcase stand). As a bonus there was a practical cupboard area, with a tea station and a fridge to keep drinks cool. The breakfast buffet was delicious and having everything one would need. The option to have dinner as well is really, really much appreciated – after long days of exploring without energy left to do "the search" for a place to eat – and the dishes were superb as well. Please bring this to all the Motel One / The Cloud One locations. One minor thing: I would have loved if the room "with a view" had a bit more light, as the angled windows seemed to restrict that a bit. Maybe a floor-to-ceiling window design would have helped there. However they were thick enough to block the otherwise surprisingly loud and frequent aircraft noise. But I want to end this review with thanking the staff again for rounding off the experience by being courteous, down to have a chat and giving good recommendations.
Feels like home. I always stay at the hotel whenever i visit Innsbruck. Fabulous position, breathtaking view from rooms, always polite and ready to help staff
in general ok, but very poor breakfast, too crowdy in area with food, few choices only. Also too expensive
A great choice, lovely lobby and staff. And the restaurant next door, Sumi Garden was the highlight of our stay. Only disappointment was the rooftop bar was unavailable.
Hot water came and went a little. No news channels on TV in English. No hot breakfast No coffee and tea in rooms.
Clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast, good location if you are travelling especially, restaurants around the motel, shops etc.
Staff is soo friendly. The rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect 👌🏽
War alles super 🙂. Tolle Lage
4 days for a conference and it was great. People were kind and helping where needed.
I had a very comfortable stay. The only thing I did not like (at all) is that I was asked to pay the room while it was already paid, the hotel has this information and should only ask if the payment has not been done.
Breakfast was extremely simple (almost like at a youth hostel), not worth the money, very disappointing.
Excellent, professional service in a gentle and convivial atmosphere at this Motel. When I stay at hotels, I often take a closer look at the value given to design and architecture as well as artistic ambience. I proposed to the receptionists that I will write to the central Motel One Administration, in case my expertise might be of help (I work wioth art galleries in Saarbrücken and in the US, and could help to recommed some artworks for your rooms or lobby. As to experience arriving and leaving, I notice yesterday a bad habit of other visitors, two of them standing right in front of the exit door to smoke, and I think guests should not be exposed to nicotine in this intrusive manner. A sign might help to alert smokers not to impose themselves. thank you
Room especially bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was ok - not many options of food TV was not easy to use - help provided from staff was very nice overall I would book it again
Nice and friendly staff and clean rooms
For a hotel this size the breakfast area should be much bigger. The cost of €20 for breakfast and no where to sit is not a good value. Would also be great to have a gym.
The only thing keeping it low was that people i had reservation with had far, away rooms
This was my second stay at this location and it was just as pleasant as the first! My husband and I were celebrating out 30th wedding anniversary this time around and we stayed for nearly two weeks. The staff quickly became our Motel One Family! We were consistently greeted with welcoming, heartfelt smiles from Huseyin, Jeremy, Erwin, Zianis, Matthias, and Max. They were quick to answer our questions, were accommodating, and provided assistance without blinking an eye. We frequented the 24-hour bar almost nightly and the staff were top notch! They did not treat us as guests rather, they welcomed us as their own. The affectionate conversations with Anastasia, Shanelle, Monica, Leonardo, Lorenzo, and Pascal felt as if we were enjoying our cocktails with life-long friends. Each one was passionate about providing quality drinks; ensuring our satisfaction. This crew will forever hold an unforgettable, special place in our hearts. Last but not least, Jeffery. Our morning breakfast greeter was always smiling and ready to help us start our vigorous day with his enthusiasm. We are unbelievably grateful for the pleasant and caring staff at the Zurich location. We wanted our 30th celebration to be memorable and our "family" at Motel One Zurich certainly did that.
The room was very small and just manoeuvring my 1 piece of luggage made it even tighter. The lobby and bar are lovely and the bed was very comfortable.
It was the absolute bare minimum from all hotel I’ve ever experienced before. I was there on my birthday (I mentioned this before booking bc I was looking for sth special!!!), nothing special except for my room with view on cathedral. Service was also just as much as necessary. No greetings, no real welcome… however it was clean and the bed was good. For this the price too high.
I really like the hotels location and I had a great chat at check-in. A couple of things weren’t great in my room, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying at the hotel again in the future.
Lovely hotel and staff. The bed was really comfy. The room was a little small and minimalistic but the price reflects that
We had a great stay. The room was perfect for us. The bed was comfy and tge pillows were also. The shower was simple to use unlike some others we have encountered. The location was excellent being within easy walking distance to public transport. David at reception was a pleasure to deal with and his directions were spot on when we asked him both mornings which was our best route. We would certainly recommend a stay here at this hotel.
Great hotel in prime location. Staff extremely helpful.
Fantastic location right next to the train station, super friendly staff at the reception, good breakfast and very sunny room! The one thing I thought was that the air conditioning in the breakfast room was aggressively cold... I want to give extra credits to Veronika (or Veronica) who checked us in, and did an outstanding job at making us feel welcome at the hotel. Absolutely 10/10 service.
Super.
We have very nice room at level 7 with beautiful sunrise from our window. All staff are friendly and very good smiling face. Room is clean and the bed is comfort. Definitely your right choice if you choose Motel One Hotel
Excellent experience as ever. Great staff and very comfortable and clean hotel.
I just love staying at the Motel One Parkstadt Schwabing. The friendliness of the staff, the cozy sitting areas in and around the lounge as well as the roof top Bar. I love waking up and falling asleep with the skyline of Munich in front of me :) Thanks for always being a lovely home away from home.
We had everything we needed. Very helpful staff and a great location. Great breakfast and high housekeeping standards. Thank you
Friendlly staff, great location, rooms are immaculate, comfortable beds, great staff - always helpful.
We stayed for 2 nights, it was the perfect amount. The room is tiny but it was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. The location is amazing. The staff were nice and breakfast was great. The room was a bit dirty (hairs in the shower) and the smell was a bit moldy.
