From kings to composers
Trying to find a great place to stay in Warsaw? Allow us to present our affordable design hotel! Our Motel One Warsaw, located opposite the historic Fryderyk Chopin Museum and Chopin Institute, welcomes you with a music-inspired interior. Frédéric Chopin, born in 1810 in a village on the outskirts of Warsaw, spent the first 20 years of his life here. And when you first step foot in our hotel, you’re greeted by the Polish composer himself. A huge artwork depicting Chopin, created by Warsaw native and artist Mariusz Libel, adorns the wall behind reception – accompanied by musical notes and scenes from the city. Tables by Baxter printed with the composer’s sheet music can found in the lobby and in the One Lounge. Theoretically, you could play some of his best work directly from our tables. Practically speaking however, it’s best to start your exciting day here with our breakfast. One thing that is as certain as finding a grand piano in a concert hall: you’ll find our sofas by Wittmann and Poltrona Frau sublime. Let the music carry you to our hotel’s bar – take a look at the back wall of the bar. With it’s high-gloss finish and deep black colour, it’s reminiscent of the elegant finish of a grand piano, enhanced with golden details. And the high note of your stay with us? Gloriously comfortable box spring beds that invite you to enjoy a luxurious lie in.
Its prime location south of the river Vistula makes our affordable hotel the perfect base for discovering Warsaw’s countless restaurants and sights. The 16th century Royal Castle in Warsaw city centre is particularly worth a visit – it used to be the official residence of the Polish monarchy. After Warsaw’s Old Town was destroyed during WW2 and subsequently rebuilt, Warsaw’s Royal Castle became a UNSECO World Heritage site. And the imposing 237 metre-tall Palace of Culture and Science, a true landmark of the city, is just a stone’s throw away from our hotel. The Saxon Garden or the Lazienki Park are perfect if you feel like taking a relaxing walk in the fresh air. Or perhaps you fancy a bit of shopping? Then take a stroll down Nowy Swiat, Warsaw’s elegant shopping street, which is also a part of the Royal Route leading from Warsaw’s Royal Castle to Wilanów Palace. There’s also plenty to explore just outside the city centre. Wilanów Palace Museum – known by many as the Polish Versailles – is within easy reach via public transport. An ensemble of exciting adventures await you at our hotel in the capital city of Poland. It’s high time you added Warsaw to your list of top 10 travel destinations!
