I was attending an event at the expo so Motel One Paris-Porte de Versailles was a prime location with just a 5-minute walk to my destination. Staff are friendly. The room has air-con so it is brilliant in the heatwave. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner. The roof-top bar at the hotel is amazing. Breakfast option is limited and the only hot food was boiled eggs. I wish there are more hot food options.
It i was clean, the breakfast was good, and best of all, there was air conditioning!
Great hotel
The only thing I missed was information about facilities, opening times, check out times etc.
CLean and tidy
Breakfast - excellent , bar and bar staff - excellent, can’t make the room cooler than 24degrees - worst ever ..:. This hotel has the ability to be a 10/10 but will only get there when you can make the rooms cooler . Please think about your patrons before anything else. This is made worse by the fact there is no fridge in the room
Conveniently located for Metro . Helpful check in , room was small but immaculate .
For business trips, even longer ones, it is a great option.
Friendly staff, very clean, Ac is not efficient enough, in general it was very good, small amenities at the room it will add a nice touch, at least water.
Your staff was very nice and professional. I would like to highlight Rachel, who has provided very good service from check-in to check-out. She was amazing. I had a very great customer experience/ Thank you for that. I will come back. Thanks to your great staff and your beautiful rooftop. Odile D
We were amazingly surprised by the service , the comfort , the cleanliness. The service was top , the team very helpful and nice . The hotel is very comfortable, new . We will definitely go back again .
Nice and efficiant. Really missed having a small fridge and the AC did not cool the room enough
Great service location was close to metro and restaurant definitely would come again
Good
Efficient receptiondesk, rooms are very clean, breakfast is very good with a good offer and service, Airco working fine
Great location , central , super nice staff Lovely roof terrace and price very reasonable Comfortable rooms Very clean
Overall a good experience with some caveat; Pros: - Well designed rooms although small (like most European hotel rooms) - Confortable bed, nice bedding and pillows - Nice interior and superb terrasse on the 7th floor - Very sympathetic personnel at all level of service - Good ratio price vs quality Cons: - AC was limited, although we kept the room at a confortable temperature we felt it was still damp and we didn't feel much air flowing although the fan was at max - There is no fridge in the room and no ice bucket or ice dispenser in the whole hotel, we had to ask the bar for ice and use our garbage can to keep our personal drinks cold - A lot of new personnel, people in training at the reception, overall we felt the hotel although opened for over a year was still in start-up phase - Tables outside in front of the hotel had no parasol and under the intense sunlight and heat prevailing, it made it almost impossible to enjoy
Everything was perfect
In general my stay was very good. The room a little bit small for two guests. I would like to have fried eggs or omelet option in breakfast. Thank you.
I had a fabulous stay - nice atmosphere and all the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful.
Too hot in the room. No fridge available for my medicines.
Excellent design and service
The hotel is new and beautiful but, in an international hotel, I would had expected the bidet inside the bathroom. And there was a dirty sheet and a dirty towel every day they changed them. I believe that this depends of the the cleaning provider
Very nice room, also enjoyed the rooftop bar. Breakfast very good as well, nothing to complain.
The hotel is conveniently located near Porte de Versailles' subway. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.
Hotel far exceeded our expectations, fabulous breakfast, great friendly staff, modern spacious well equipped bar and reception areas. A real find.
Very good hotel let down by the lack of teas and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Some reception staff had very limited knowledge about how best to travel to major Paris tourist locations from the hotel. The hotel could produce a simple guide to help reception staff and guests.
Overall ok but definitely there is room to improve, from the behaviour of the staff, to their knowledge and willingness to help, to the rooms that smelled bad (at least the room we stayed in). When we first entered the room, my first reaction was to cover my nose and exit. My husband opened the windows and this helped a bit but everyday, no matter what the room smelled bad. We wanted to buy water in one of the days and the reception staff asked us to give them some vouchers in exchange for the water..we did not receive any vouchers when we initially checked in. At check in we did not receive any information from the staff, we simply received the card fro the room and that was it, never happened to me before in any other hotel.
Excellent accommodation. The hotel is in a very good location. I requested and received an accessible room — it was impeccably clean, with a lower bed, and the bathroom (with a non-slip rubber floor) had a grab bar next to the toilet and a medical shower chair in the spacious roll-in shower cabin. I am very satisfied with the accommodation and with the service overall. Special thanks to Paolo, who kindly helped us organize our itinerary and made himself available for all our needs and questions during our stay in Paris. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
Superb value for money. I stayed here with my partner - we were in the area for the French Open first round. Both of us are familiar with Motel One having stayed at other hotels before, and Porte de Versailles was a great stay. Friendly staff, great facilities and conveniently located for onward public transport connections to Stade Roland-Garros and central Paris. The rooftop bar with late-night opening was a wonderful bonus when we returned on the Monday night after a long day out. We hope to stay again if/when we return to Paris, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to any visiting friends and family looking for a hotel in this area of town. Thank you so much!
Your hotel is clean and the staffs are friendly and welcoming. Some customers are Christains and containers should be made available for them to take their breakfast away pending when they want to eat.
The view out of the window ist not nice, really, directly on a huge contruction site.
Wonderful experience, wonderful staff. I would especially like to mention Paolo, who made my stay truly exceptional. Motel One Porte de Versailles has a wonderful, attentive, professional, and genuinely empathetic employee in him — the kind of person one rarely encounters these days. Paolo truly embodies the meaning of hospitality, and for guests, that is invaluable. His genereal friendliness, active listening, the allocation of my preferred room and his support with both Uber bookings for my departure at five o’clock in the morning were really going the extra mile. My thanks also to the rest of the fantastic team for making the stay such a pleasant experience.
Easy check in, kid friendly, the room is not that small and has space for luggage etc
Really friendly and helpful staff, very accommodating. The lobby is beautiful, very comfy chairs and sofas, very relaxing atmosphere and such a gorgeous scent in the area! Amazing cocktails in the rooftop bar and the waitress there was really sweet and friendly. The decor and all the little touches, like the pimp my gin, and the little bottles on the bar etc. made the hotel very stylish and beautiful. Room was nice and clean, love the fish and the gentle spa music that starts playing when you put the electricity on! Also helped me sleep really well. Very comfy bed, and great shower. Only stayed for 1 night as I was there for work, but I cannot fault this hotel. Pretty good location too, nice walk from lots of restaurants in both directions. Overall, brilliant! Thank you.
The cleanliness, colors, and design are still my favorites. I would always be happy to have a small refrigerator in the room.
Overall a real positive experience during my stay! But there was a small moisture/mold smell in the bathroom of my room (116) and it seems to come from a water leak affecting the tile floor of the bathroom (some water comes out of the tiles when walking on it). This leak also affects a bit the carpet floor in the room itself in front of the bathroom door (wet floor). I forgot to tell/explain this problem to the receptionist when I proceed to check-out or before... Except this, nothing else negative to be mentioned, on the contrary, good breakfast, clean place, nice personnel,...
Clean hotel, good customer service, good location with subway
Clean room, comfortable bed , very good location
Clean, hospitable, good location, charming
Great hotel, breakfast was awesome. Palao was amazing helping us with directions, recommendations for places to eat was spot on. We really appreciated him helping us out with any needs. I highly recommend your hotel.
Everything went perfect. The care of all the staff, the rooftop bar, the confort in the hall, perfect, thank you!
Hotel One in Paris (Porte de Versailles) is very modern, clean, and chic! Breakfast was delicious and it has one of the best croissants I tasted in Paris! Rooms are clean and tidy all the time. Only complaint I have is the AC; it is set very high and we sweat at night. We had to open a window so the cold April air could cool the room.
We had an excellent stay, staff was friendly, good breakfast and very convenient and close to public transport. Also lounge on the 7th floor is very nice.
I have stayed at various Motel One hotels in Germany and a few times in Austria and Poland. This Paris hotel is significantly different in that its location is not as central as in other cities, and the breakfast offering was poorer than in all the other Motel One hotels I have stayed at.
great, perfect place with big breakfast, amazing staff
Motel One is the best deal in the Porte de Versailles area. Very professional. Well organised. The only area for improvement is the room temperature setting. It was not possible to cool the room.
I loved the stay in this hotel! a special greeting goes to Chloe and Julian!
Conveniently located at the ring, 5 minutes walk to the Metro station line 12. Lobby and rooftop bar very nice, restaurants right outside. Car parking in the Expo center, 10 minutes to walk. Not recommended if you want to use the car on a daily basis. Motel One is always a good choice, nice rooms (although small), very nice style. Minus: During our stay, everything was not available during breakfast times: Bread, milk, knifes, small spoons, tissues, ... the breakfast team is the big minus here. All the coffee machines ran out of milk all the time, getting a piece of bread was pure luck. Absolutely untypical for Motel One.
Clean , breakfast excellent, room was cold, could not get heating to work, and desk is too small for any actual work. Value for money yes.

Hotel Paris Porte de Versailles
Coucou, Paris! Our Motel One Paris-Porte de Versailles is located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition centre in the 15th arrondissement. This makes it a particularly convenient location for all trade fair visitors and event fans. Checking into our design hotel in Paris means you can start your day in a leisurely manner, as the exhibition grounds and convention centre are just a few steps away. And there’s always plenty to do at the Expo Porte de Versailles: the Paris Book Fair, Paris Games Week, the Rétromobile motor show… you can see why it draws several million visitors every year.
But the Motel One Paris-Porte de Versailles isn’t just a great location close to the Expo – the convenient public transport links also make it the perfect base to enjoy a relaxing city break. There are metro, tram and bus connections to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Montmartre district and the Champs-Elysées in the immediate vicinity of the design hotel by the trade fair centre, making it the perfect starting point for an extensive sightseeing tour. So a stay at the Paris-Porte de Versailles hotel isn’t just ideal for business travellers.

The Paris-Porte de Versailles design hotel in detail
But we mustn’t neglect to mention the unique interior of our hotel in Paris. The design confirms that guests have arrived in the vibrant metropolis as soon as they enter, combining French elegance and modern flair, with an emphasis on strong black-and-white contrasts.
As Paris is not only the city of architecture, but also of art and fashion, both are harmoniously reflected in the design of the Paris-Porte de Versailles hotel. Miniature Eiffel towers and illustrations from ‘The Little Prince’ paired with floral motifs create an unmistakable feel-good atmosphere in the design hotel.
The Paris hotel will also impress you with its individual hospitality and modern comforts, because it also scores highly on amenities. In addition to Wi-Fi, free luggage storage, smart TVs and convenient online check-in, there is a varied and extensive breakfast buffet in the morning.
Not to mention a very special highlight for all guests of this hotel in Paris, especially in summer: the roof terrace! After all, a cool drink with a view over the rooftops of the city tastes best on sunny days when you’re on holiday.
Attractions in Paris
And the rooftops aren’t the only thing to marvel at! Thanks to the excellent transport connections near the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, the hotel is also ideal for thoroughly exploring the city. From the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre and Notre-Dame Cathedral, there are many cultural highlights to discover. If you are interested in art and culture, the exhibitions at the Musée d’Orsay, where fascinating works by famous artists are regularly presented, are well worth a visit.
Culinary delights such as the classic croissant or baguette, a café au lait or a visit to a small bistro are also a must on a holiday in Paris. And afterwards, a stroll along the Seine, a detour to the Latin Quarter or a romantic dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower – the possibilities in Paris are almost endless.
Fortunately, bad weather in Paris is also no obstacle to an extended tour of the city. How about a visit to one of the largest museums in the world, the Louvre? When it rains – and of course in bright sunshine too – nothing stands in the way of a good long day of shopping at the Lafayette department store. We also recommend a descent into the Paris Catacombs, almost 20 metres below ground. Our tip: make sure you get your tickets early, because they are very popular.
In any case, a trip to our hotel in Paris is a unique experience and always a good idea for a city or business trip. We look forward to your visit to our hotel near the Expo Porte de Versailles!
