Everything was really good. Nice room - comfortable bed and nice bathroom. No noise from the traffic at all. Staff were all super-helpful and the hotel had a really relaxed feel about it. The breakfasts were good and the bar area was a very comfortable place to relax. Location could not have been better - just across the road from the Hauptbahnhof but also a short walk beyond that to the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate.
Excellent hotel at a great price. Lovely comfortable rooms with a great shower, friendly service, and nice lounge/bar area downstairs.
Motel One Alexanderplatz lived up to my positive and memorable experiences of Motel One is Leipzig, Dresden and Copenhagen ie friendly and welcoming staff, clean and well designed rooms and excellent breakfast offerings. We would particularly like to acknowledge and thank Viktoria who changed our room to one with a sweeping view of the tower on a day when the hotel was more busy than usual due to the football finals. This was a real treat as we were staying for ten nights. But all the staff are friendly and welcoming.

What was good: room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. 2 paper cups, no glasses, fridge or coffee/tea making facility. Just bare basics. What was inadequate: Room was miniature, ok for one, even then very tight. Designed for midgets or very small people. Lack of consumables, just soap.
EXCELLENT - AS EVERY STAY AT A MOTEL ONE IS
Staff was very helpful, we relied on the luggage storage twice and they happily refilled our water bottles. However we found an insect larva in the bathroom ceiling. We did not find more in the room so it was ok, just an attention point for you !

The overall rating results from the room itself: it was very small, too small indeed for 2 people plus suitcase. From the number of towel sets and bed sheets (which we had to order an additional pair each) it also looked like this room had been rather considered for 1 person than for 2. First time I got disappointed in my stays with motel-one.

The location is excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly! The reason I’m giving 7, and not 10, is that the room was great, but it was very, very dusty. There was also a lot of collected dust in some of the furniture. That was our only problem.

The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is in a great location, well maintained, clean with nice design touches. The nightly rate is more than fair. We would definitely stay again.
Friendly service but in our 2 person room there was just one blanket and towel,so we needed to pick them up. But we got them quickly so it wasn't big problem. Next time please check if the room is for one or two people. Thank you!

I had a really enjoyable stay, very relaxed and easy. Friendly staff, modern decor and clean room. Good location and nice neighbourhood. The only thing was the room window was opposite other rooms entrances, so could do with some type of netting, then you can still have the curtains open but don’t feel as exposed, as it was really sunny ☀️
The location is fantastic and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom, which I greatly appreciate. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Notably, the room lacks a kettle as well as tea and coffee-making facilities, which I would consider a basic amenity. Additionally, complimentary daily water bottles would be a nice touch. As a Motel One member, I did receive one bottle at check-in, but given my experience with other hotels, I found this a little disappointing. One final point: the hairdryer is fixed permanently to the wall, which makes it quite inconvenient to use. Allowing guests to move it freely would be a simple but meaningful improvement to the overall comfort of the room.
Probably one of my favorite hotel stays in recent times. 10/10 would book again soon. Loved the excellent location, friendly staff, cleanliness and the rooftop was the cherry on top. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a pleasant experience.

Very clean and comfortable room, great location. Basic facilities in the room, at a minimum would expect coffee/tea making facilities but there was nothing.
Absolutely Stunning Stay! We had an incredible time at this hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and highly maintained. Every single member of the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Berlin. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip! Highly recommended.
No hot shower, no phone to call reception in room.
Positive -> 1 - Very nice stay. 2 - The hotel is clean. 3 - The staff is friendly. 4 - Well isolated from outside noise. Negative -> 1 - Air Conditioning was not working while temperatures were already quite high. 2 - 6 EUR for a 700ml bottle of water... 3 - There was an issue with shower, one morning there was no warm water ( not only to me )

rooms were silent enough, though the beds remain too hard. Temperature was very well in room! The fact that the restaurant area was being renovated was quite disturbing.
Our stay at the hotel was truly excellent. Everything was at a very high standard — the room, service, cleanliness, and the hotel’s location were all great. I would especially like to highlight the reception staff, who were extremely kind and professional throughout our stay. Although everyone was very friendly, I would particularly like to thank Leyla at the reception, who was exceptionally helpful and helped us with our luggage after check-out, which meant a lot to us. Thank you to the whole team for such a pleasant experience!
I did not enjoy this hotel. The rooms are ridiculously small and loud. The bathroom is so small you can’t dry your hair with a blow dryer without hitting your elbow against the wall. There is a lot of noise from the street and a lot of noise from the second floor bar/Terrace. The hotel is very dark. The staff was very pleasant and the bar on the 18th floor was nice for cocktails. It is centrally located next to the Alexanderplatz train station and the Berlin Convention Center. I stayed there for a conference, but would not stay there by choice.
The staff were incredibly professional, warm, and cooperative. They allowed conveniences that were beyond the scope of my contracted stay. We also had a delightful time late into the evening at the lobby bar due to the cordialness of the bartender and his cocktail making skill! Will definitely come back next time we visit Berlin! vielen Dank!

Great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, and a location that allows easy and quick access to many sites, especially when on foot. Will definitely come back.
The hotel and room was pretty good. The bedroom was a bit too warm though and the ventilation/airco was not really helping. With a better cooling we would have give a much better evaluation.

We were shocked at the check-in. It was after midnight and we could hardly get inside the hotel and the lady at the reception told us there was no reservation. I told her that I booked it from booking.com and 100% secured it with a credit card. She checked again and said that we were transferred to Motel one Haubtbahnhof this time. After long argument she accepted to pay our taxi to that hotel. We secured the night and the next topic was the rest of the stay because it was a 5 night reservation. After another long argument finally she said we could come back for the rest of the stay. When we come back on the following day another gentleman at the reception explained the situation that there was only one room with a defective door lock left and he decided to transfer us. This was a really bad experience that I never had before.
