Super.
Excellent experience as ever. Great staff and very comfortable and clean hotel.
friendly staff at check-in and bar, clean room (shout-out to house keeping!), room allocation not according my preferences stated in my reservation and mentioned at check-in.
Nearly 10 years of trips in this Motelone, I enjoy a lot. Fex and metro and bus juste there, commercial center just there, the only thing missing is a little fridge for keeping fresh water in summer.
All good. Would have liked a gym and bottles of water in room
Fantastic staff. Perfect location. I got a nice room.
I was at the hotel for 6 days. The rooms are small but well designed and as a solo person it was fine for me. Since the last time I stayed, there were new furniture designs, which increased storage space, and places to hang clothes/jackets, which was useful. The quality of linen is good and the bed was comfortable. I asked for a bright room on the top floors, which I got. The bathroom is compact but had all what one needed, including good quality showergel and liquid soap. The daily cleaning was excellent. I also used the Motel One Bar for the first time and found it very pleasant and convivial.
Everything was good. Nice and comfortable.
Nice hotel. Great location and super friendly staff.

Your Team is always polite and friendly. The rooms are clean and nice
Consistent quality, very friendly staff, always perfectly clean rooms. Thanks for keeping a high standard for many years in row.
Amazing view on the rooftop lounge and location. Amenities in the room: very good hairdryer and differet kind of pillows. Please add a kettle and a coffee machine in the room :)
Beautiful room with great windows and view. Very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even printed out our tickets. Location was great too.
very kind male receptionist - very helpful
Staff were superb 10th floor bar and lounge was outstanding both inside and out
First contact with receptionist at approx. 1200 on 28/08/26 was very good. She was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean I have no complaints about the service team. Breakfast was very good and the team at the breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. The bar area was really nice and very relaxing. The waiters and waitresses were great at their job but if I had to say anything, it was that sometimes I was served at the bar and other times I was told it was waiter service only, which slowed down the process a bit. Other than that, they were great.
all really good! Helpful and friendly reception staff, room is perfectly funtional, not large but also not too small, has everything you need and felt very safe and designed really well. Would gladly use this chain again.
The hotel is as good as ever. The location is excellent. But what never ceases to amaze me is how friendly and professional the staff is. That is continuously by far the best comparative strength of this hotel.
Mirza was the best hotel manager of all time. I had two issues and the way he dealt with them was inspirational; He made me a loyal customer. The guy should manage the whole group. Fantastic. Every 10 out o10 that can be attributed to him is about him.
easy processing, nice room with great view,
Friendly and very helpful staff, location is excellent thank you for great service!
It would be nice to have two seats , even if they don´t need to be large armchairs, so that you wouldn´t have to sit on the bed.
Toller Barkeeper!
Great stay!We were very satisfied with our stay. The breakfast buffet was super and had absolutely everything. We especially loved the beautiful, large courtyard. It was a wonderful place to eat breakfast or just relax after a long day of walking around Berlin. Furthermore, all the staff members were very friendly, welcoming, and patient when we struggled a bit with the language. We would highly recommend it!
Great location in heart of the city, very clean rooms.
too noisy, outside huge ventilators on the ground make noise all the time up to the 10th floor. too expensive for just sleeping - with open windows not possible.
Fine, but not excellent or outstanding. The individual size blanket is the worst. You are charging 100+ for a room and provide a super small blanket. There was a small cockroach in my room that I spotted at the end of my stay. The staff doesn't have any adapter for electricity to borrow -I solved this myself, but in a touristic city with parties, etc one can easily loose a power bank or forget an adapter, many similar hotels in similar cities have at least a selling machine. Good sound isolation, and good cleaning service.
The rooms are very small, the staff are a bit sullen, and the smell in the hallway is quite unpleasant; the prices could perhaps be adjusted to reflect this. Apart from that, we loved everything—the hotel was excellent.
Clean and very efficient layout of the room. Bathroom is small but efficient only the door always closes automatically, less convenient.
Nice hotel, easy to get my U bahn, friendly staff and great breakfast. Just the neighbourhood at night was noisy and not most comfortable feeling and staff smoking outside in the back patio which resulted in smoke smell in the room once the window was open.
The entire experience related to staying there was excellent. Very kind and effective check-in process and most helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, adding some 1-2 warm foods would make it perfect. Very considerate sustainable options for everything we needed. Easy and convenient ways for getting around in the city. The room was a little small for 3 people but efficiently furnished and very clean.
Very convenient location, easy access! Very nice reception experience, and more... Highly recommended!!
Welcoming and friendly personel, a quick checkin, clean room, nice smelling shower gel, decent breakfast, various seating opportunities. I didn't like the shampoo, hair felt like washed with soap. Table in the room is very small, hardly suitable for remote work. Breakfast area was a bit chaotic. Shower head could use a citric acid treatment.
Modern room but a little small. Very clean. Unfortunately no kettle. No hot items for breakfast but a large choice of rolls / cold meat / cheese etc.
I fully understand the brand's chic & cheap philosophy focused on sleek design and budget-friendly rates, but essential comfort shouldn't be compromised. A few practical additions would easily transform the stay from average to great: Room amenities: Even within a minimalist concept, adding a small fridge, a kettle, or a coffee machine would make a huge difference in guest convenience. Bathroom: Replacing the current hairdryer with more powerful unit would instantly upgrade the bathroom experience. Bedding choice: Offering flatter pillows alongside the existing high ones would cater to different sleeping preferences. Accessibility: Softening the heavy room doors and reconsidering the carpet texture—which currently locks up suitcase wheels—would make moving luggage effortless. With just these slight adjustments, the hotel could easily align its budget concept with top-tier guest comfort. People at the reception, at the restaurant are very kind and professional.
Stayed at Tiergsrten often in the past 6 years, but quality and service has gone down alot. 3 times during breakfast my unfinished plates full of food were cleaned up while i was up gettings even though my personal items like mobile phones were still on table. Wasteful and annoying. Then i had asked 2x different staff for more feta cheese and had to wait 15+ mins before it was filled even though three employees were talking and standing around in the breakfast area. The elevator closest to reception closed too quickly and hit my arm 3 different times. Appears its prescense sensor is faulty - painful - in the past few stays appears one of the elevators is always defective. Lastly I had asked if both days of parking could be on one invoice and the reception said no problem - it will be taken care of at checkout - but on checkout day, I got an emal Invoice at 6:00am with only one day of parking. At checkout i mentioned this and it was said i would get a new invoice with all on it. The email never came. I came back today on next day and asked for invoice and only got a 2nd invoice with 2nd of parking. Very frustrating hotel staff that don’t seem to focus on their job or care about customers. I used to like this Motel One… but very disappointed recently.
Good location and friendly staff On the last morning it would be good if Housekeeping could wait til the guest has checked out. Otherwise very good
I loved everything at your hotel, like every time I stay at Motel One. I would just like that breakfast is served a bit later (to 11 would be great). See you soon
Room not vacuumed (candy or plastic or some such on the carpet). Shower tub very slippery and raked at a slope to the drain and almost broke the glass curtain when I slipped. key light thing not functioning when I left and the lights were on with or without the key - so like, why not just leave it that way?
This hotel was in a great location for a three night stay in Berlin! It was easy to get to from the train, staff were nice, and rooms were clean! I would stay here again!
The overall experience was very nice. The room is well-equipped. Everything is working properly. I really like the welcome ambient sound and image played on the TV in the room. They are very soothing and relaxing. The location is also great. The only small imperfection is that the noise of the AC is a little bit loud.
it was a good idea to stay here, as the hotel is located in the city center. many shops, restaurants, visiting places are only a few steps away. the room was clean and tidy, everything was properly prepared. it was a flawless experience
We had a lovely stay here. Big shoutout to Fara for making our honeymoon super special. The hospitality and the staff was very nice, which was a cherry on top for our German holiday
Your key system had issue, was not possible to enter the rooms without a member of the staff. Someone entered the room while I was naked - unacceptable. The 20 EUR refund is nothing.
Great Hotel. Great Service and food.
Toller Service
All was nice and great! Highly friendly staff and perfectly cleaned room!!! Thank you…some warm sausages would be nice!
I staied in Hotel One few time. Last time was the Best! I got a room which Worth the price and more. Beautiful view to the city and beautiful Sunset! Vielen Danke ❤️
Nice staff. Clean - both public areas and bedroom. Great location. Room slightly difficult to move around in. Good breakfast. Decent value.
Switch on. beOne.

What can you expect at the Motel One hotels in Berlin?
“Berlin is more a part of the world than a city,” wrote Jean Paul, and that is exactly how the capital still feels today. Berlin consists of many centres, neighbourhoods and contrasts: the government district, Museum Island, Alexanderplatz, Potsdamer Platz, City West, Kreuzberg, the banks of the Spree and peaceful green spaces are either close together or deliberately side by side, depending on the route.
Motel One’s Berlin design hotels draw on the urban influences of their respective surroundings and combine them with the familiar Motel One standard: One Lounge, bar, breakfast, modern rooms and free Wi-Fi. This overview shows you which location suits your plans for Berlin – from your first city break to your regular business trips.

Which Motel One hotel in Berlin is right for your trip?
If you’re travelling by train, want to be close to the government district and need to find your way around the Brandenburg Gate, Spreebogen or Potsdamer Platz, our Motel One at Berlin Central Station is the obvious choice. If you’re focusing on classic sightseeing in Mitte, Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz, Motel One Berlin-Hackescher Markt, Motel One Berlin-Spittelmarkt or Motel One Berlin-Potsdamer Platz are all good options – depending on whether the TV Tower, Museum Island, Nikolai Quarter, Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt or the Kulturforum are at the top of your itinerary.
For shopping, the theatre, the zoo and City West, Motel One Berlin-Upper West, Motel One Berlin-Ku’damm and Motel One Berlin-Tiergarten are convenient starting points. If you’re planning an evening out to bars, restaurants, Kreuzberg, the banks of the Spree or the creative neighbourhoods of Mitte, Motel One Berlin-Mitte might be the better choice. Motel One Berlin-Bellevue is ideal if you want to combine a central location with a quieter setting near the Spree and Bellevue Palace.
For business travellers: choose your accommodation based on your meeting schedule rather than just the name of the district. For meetings at the main railway station, in the government district or around the Charité hospital, Berlin-Hauptbahnhof is the obvious choice. For meetings at Potsdamer Platz, in Mitte or at venues in the city centre, Potsdamer Platz, Spittelmarkt, Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz are sensible choices. For appointments in City West, at agencies, retail outlets or cultural institutions around Ku’damm and the Zoo, Upper West, Ku’damm and Tiergarten are good options. If you have several appointments spread across the city, a location with quick access to the S-Bahn or U-Bahn is usually more important than the shortest route to a single attraction.
How do you explore Berlin from the Motel One hotels?
Berlin bears the marks of its years of division into East and West, whilst at the same time being a young, creative metropolis with events, a start-up culture and an international art scene. The city is synonymous with Hertha and Union, döner and currywurst, a rich history and the typical Berlin attitude.
Depending on your hotel, you can quickly reach many of the city’s classic sights by underground, S-Bahn, bus or on foot:
– the Reichstag and the government district near the main station
– Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral and the Nikolaiviertel
– City West with the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Ku’damm and KaDeWe
– Remnants of the Berlin Wall, such as at Checkpoint Charlie
– Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower
– Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, the Berlin Philharmonic, the East Side Gallery and many museums
But Berlin is also surprisingly green. The Tiergarten, the riverside paths along the Spree and Tempelhofer Feld give the capital plenty of breathing space. On the former airport site, walks, sport, picnics, cycling and sweeping views all come together. This other side of the city is particularly important after a packed day of museum visits or a long schedule of appointments.
The city’s districts also have their own distinct character: Charlottenburg and City West are known for their elegant shopping streets and cultural offerings; Mitte for its museums, historic sites and galleries; Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain for their bars, clubs, street art and alternative scenes; and Neukölln for its international neighbourhoods and vibrant atmosphere. With ten hotels in Berlin, Motel One can cater to a variety of travel plans without reducing the city to a single centre.
