You will need a credit card in order to make a guaranteed booking with Motel One (via Motel-One.com or by telephone) and during trade fair and event times.

How can I redeem my gift voucher?
Please present your gift voucher for redemption at check-in at the booked hotel or at the bar for food and beverage services.

How long are gift vouchers valid?
Vouchers are valid for three years from the time they are issued.

You can make both guaranteed and non-guaranteed reservations. With non-guaranteed reservations, your room will be kept up to 18.00 on the arrival date, with guaranteed bookings, we will also keep your room free for you in the event of later arrivals.

Is my booking on motel-one.com safe?
Yes, your booking is safe – in particular, your credit card information and other personal details. We will guarantee this via a secure https server; all booking information will be SSL encrypted and will take place in a safe environment.

From when can bookings be made at new Motel One hotels? How can I make bookings for these?
Bookings can be made on Motel-One.com for all new openings as far as reservations can be accepted. This is normally approximately three-to-four months before the hotel has opened.

Motel One offers a continuous Best Price rate. This amounts to – depending on the hotel – in a single room, €69.00 and €109.00 (in UK hotels: 69 GBP and 139 GBP). A supplement of €20, €40, €70, €100, €150 or €200 applies during trade fairs and event periods (in UK hotels: 40 GBP, 70 GBP, 100 GBP).

A second person will cost – depending on the hotel – €0.00, €10.00, €15.00 or €20.00 per room/night.

What does an overnight stay cost for children?
One child up to and including 6 years stays free of charge in the parents' room, with breakfast also included.
One child aged between 7 and 12 years old also stays free of charge in the parents' room. * These children receive breakfast at half price.

How can I save my credit card details in my profile?
Log in to beOne and click ‘beOne profile’. From there, you can save your credit card details under ‘Payment details’.

How can I change my credit cards in my profile?
Log in to beOne and click ‘beOne profile’. You can change your credit card details under ‘Payment details’. If a credit card is already saved there, please delete its details first and save the changes. Only then can the new card be saved. Note: only one credit card can be saved in your profile at a time.

When you check in, you’ll receive a voucher for the Welcome Water with the date of your stay and your name. You can redeem the voucher at our bar in the One Lounge. In DE, AT and CH you’ll receive water from Viva con Aqua, and in UK from Thirsty Planet. By using these waters, we support the organisations’ social projects and contribute to making the world a better place.

How do I make a booking through beOne?
Simply go to www.motel-one.com or open the app and book your desired stay. Your information will be transferred to us automatically and you will receive your Welcome Water voucher when you arrive at the hotel.

How can I redeem the free breakfast offer that comes with my beOne registration?
The breakfast voucher can be redeemed during the booking process on www.motel-one.com or the app in the final step of the process – the ‘summary’. The voucher code can only be redeemed once and is valid for three months.

Where can I find my membership number?
There are no membership numbers for our beOne membership programme. As soon as you log in on our website using your email address and password, you can make bookings using your beOne account. You can’t enter your membership details on third-party sites or travel platforms.

If I redeem the breakfast voucher during a booking and then cancel the booking, is the voucher still valid?
Yes, you can still use the voucher in your next booking as long as it takes place within 3 months of your beOne registration.

Can breakfast vouchers be redeemed directly at the hotel?
No, the breakfast voucher can only be redeemed with an online booking through beOne. It is not possible to redeem it later at the hotel.

What happens if I can’t redeem my breakfast voucher because the desired hotel doesn’t have any available rooms?
The breakfast voucher can be redeemed online for any Motel One as long as this occurs within three months of the original registration.

Can multiple breakfast vouchers be redeemed with a single booking/stay?
No, only one voucher code can be redeemed for each booking.

Can I receive the value of the voucher in cash if I don’t redeem the voucher?
No, reimbursement of the voucher value is not possible.

How can I use ‘Sleep-in Sunday’?
Every guest who checks out on a Sunday is entitled to use the late Sunday check-out benefit until 3pm (subject to availability) if the booking was made through beOne. Our staff will ask when you check in whether you would like the late check-out. You can also ask the staff member directly.

Can I redeem the vouchers at any Motel One?
You can redeem the breakfast voucher online for any Motel One location. The voucher for the Welcome Water is only valid for the respective stay and can therefore only be redeemed in that specific Motel One location.

To do this, please log in to beOne via the website www.motel-one.com and click on ‘beOne profile’. Under the ‘Contact details’ tab, uncheck the box for the free newsletter. To apply the change, please click on the ‘Save’ button.

Can I de-register from beOne?
If you no longer wish to take advantage of the attractive beOne benefits, you can delete your membership through your ‘beOne profile’. However, if you re-register again later, you will not be eligible for the one-time registration benefit of a free breakfast.

What is beConnected?
beConnected is a permanent and free benefit for beOne members.
By entering their beOne login details when they connect to the wifi at a Motel One hotel, beOne members can connect their device to the Motel One wifi permanently. This means that next time they stay at this Motel One hotel or a different one, their device will automatically connect to the wifi.
This permanent wifi login option may be used for a maximum of three devices (e.g. smartphone, tablet, laptop) per user. -
When can I connect to the wifi with beConnected?
As usual, every guest who starts the wifi login process during their stay at Motel One will be directed to a wifi landing page via the browser on their device. On this page, beOne members can choose between the one-time wifi login and the permanent beConnected wifi. If they select the latter, they will need to enter their beOne login details (email address and password) and accept the terms and conditions. After successfully logging in, the device will automatically connect to the Motel One wifi for this and all future stays, meaning it will no longer be necessary to log in with this device.

How do I disconnect from the beConnected wifi?
As a beOne member, you can disconnect your devices from beConnected at any time via the settings under ‘Profile settings -> Account Management’.
Afterwards, you can re-connect one or more devices at any time. -
What happens with beConnected if I cancel my beOne membership?
As a former beOne member, your devices will no longer automatically connect to the permanent beConnected wifi the next time you stay at Motel One and you will need to connect them to the normal wifi again

What happens if I change my beOne password or email address?
Changing your password or any other details in your beOne profile will not affect the beConnected function.

What happens if, as a beOne member, I connect more than three devices to beConnected?
beConnected can only be used for three devices per user. If you log in with a fourth device, the device with the oldest login will be disconnected from beConnected.

How is a Motel One room furnished?
The rooms at Motel One are equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed or double beds. Some Motel One rooms also have single rooms (COSY ONE or The ONE for one), which are designed for one person. The bed size here varies between 120 cm or 140 cm. Our rooms also offer a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, climate control (in some hotels an air cooling/heating system), a bathroom with shower/WC and a mobile workstation and armchair (not all rooms in Copenhagen have a workstation).

Guests who are dependent on an accompanying person due to a disability are charged 50% of the current daily rate for the accommodation of the accompanying person. -
What is the difference between a king-size bed and a queen-size bed (size)?
The king-size bed is 180 cm x 200 cm. The queen-size bed is 160 cm x 200 cm.

Do you allow dogs?
Yes, please mention that you will be bringing your dog when you make your booking. We charge a fee of EUR 15 per pet and per night in all countries besides Switzerland (CHF 25), UK (GBP 15), Poland (40 PLN), Czech Republic (CZK 250) and Denmark (200 DKK).

How can I pay at Motel One?
For non-guaranteed bookings, you can simply pay when you check in: in cash, by credit card or EC card, or by Google Pay or Apple Pay.
For online bookings where payment is part of the booking process, you can choose between paying by credit card, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay. -
When do I pay my hotel bill?
At Motel One, you pay the full amount of your stay when checking in.

Will the credit card that I use for the online booking be charged automatically?
No, the credit card will be checked and serve as guarantee for your booking. The stay will then be paid for on your arrival in the hotel.

What are the cancellation conditions at Motel One?
Non-guaranteed reservations will lapse after 6:00 pm on the arrival date. They do not need to be cancelled. Reservations guaranteed with a credit card may be cancelled up to 6:00 pm on the arrival date. For later cancellations we charge 90% of the total price of your booking. For bookings during event and trade fair periods, a cancellation term of 14 days before the arrival date applies (6:00 pm).

What does online check-in mean? What are the advantages?
With online check-in, you can easily check in at the hotel two days before your arrival using the beOne app or via your beOne profile on the website. Then all you have to do when you arrive is pick up your key card at reception. In some hotels, you can even go straight to your room thanks to mobile keys.

What do I need to check in online?
Online check-in is available exclusively for beOne members. In addition, the booking must have been made through the Motel One website or the beOne app.

How many days before arrival is online check-in available?
You can check in online from two days before your arrival. You will receive an email or push notification as soon as the service is available.

Can I add breakfast to my booking at online check-in?
It is currently not possible to add additional services during online check-in. You can easily book your breakfast at reception after arriving at the hotel.

I have booked several rooms. Can I check in online for all of them?
At this time, only the principal traveller can check in online for the first room of the booking. For all other rooms, guests must check in at reception upon arrival.

How do I get my room key after online check-in?
After successfully checking in online, all you need to do is collect your room key at the reception desk on arrival at the hotel. For some hotels, the mobile key option is also available in the beOne app. You will be able to see what options are available at your hotel after successfully checking in.

Why do I need to provide my credit card details? What can I do if I don’t have a credit card?
As the credit card is used for identity verification, it is mandatory for online check-in. In addition, any outstanding invoice items will be paid during online check-in using the credit card indicated.
If you do not have a credit card, you can still check in at reception in the usual way.

You will receive your mobile key on the day of arrival, subject to the availability of your room and no later than 3 pm. As soon as the room is ready for you, you will receive a push notification from the beOne app.

My mobile key is not working. What should I do?
Check if you have Bluetooth enabled on your smartphone. If the mobile key still does not work, you can always pick up a physical key card for your room at the reception desk at any time.

What can I do if my phone’s battery is dead or if I have lost my phone?
You can pick up a physical key card for your room at reception at any time. Our reception is available 24 hours a day.

How can I turn on the power in my room without a key card?
You can use any credit card-format card to activate the power in your room.

Can other guests who are sharing the same room use the mobile key?
No, only the main traveller can use the mobile key in the beOne app.

How does the mobile key work?
The mobile key can only be used for beOne bookings. After you have completed the online check-in, including an identity check, you will receive your mobile key in the beOne app. You can use it like a conventional key card to open the door lock. To do so, make sure have Bluetooth and location sharing enabled for the beOne app on your mobile phone.
