A great hotel, perfect beds & shower room, breakfast and very friendly staff
Great hotel and location! Very friendly staff!
Fantastic hotel with an exceptional staff. We always fee like we are home.
Top Service. Top Lage. Tolle Bar und Lobby.
Great service, a beautiful room and perfect location.
Very pleasant and helpful staff, however, on site parking was not available as advertised. Parking near by was expensive but convenient. The room was small but comfortable and it had everything needed for a good night sleep!
Very well-kept hotel. Small but practical and beautifull room. The breakfast is marvelous with many choices. We appreciated enormously the presence of Robert and Yuanphan behind the bar in the evening : their kindness was so refreshing after a tiring day in the city.
Superb MO in the City Centre of Saarbrücken. Nice and clean. Especially the entry to the parking garage is not marked very well, I drove past the entrance twice. The breakfast buffet is made with love. I enjoyed.
Nice hotel with very central location close to the City Center. The hotel is quiet, the lounge is welcoming and the Internet is good so this is a nice place for Business trip. I only missed a small kittle to have the possibility to have a warm drink before going to bed. I would recommend!
Love the location. Staff is awesome. Room is nice. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room.
We would definitely stay again at Motel One Saarbrücken. The friendly and helpful staff is a huge part of our positive experience. The hotel is very clean, the location is very good, and the staff is welcoming. I wish the rooms were larger; we had a balcony room which I probably would not choose again. A refrigerator in the room would have been good. The eggs at breakfast were a bit strange, more blue and black than white which was not appetizing. Those are my only criticisms. We were lucky to have parking available at the hotel since we had a lot of luggage with us.
Alles top.
We loved the friendliness of Robert! he is excellent at his job! The hotel is well decorated and in a good position for a stopover of one night, like it was our case.
Great bed's and shower facilities, the staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast also good.
Rooms are comfortable, and everything was very clean. Checkin was smooth and everyone at reception was really nice. Location in the centre of town is great.
A great hotel, in a great location. We have stayed here several times travelling by on our motorbikes, we love it because off the secure garage parking. On arrival thus time we were greeted with a very rude young lady, who told us several different excuses as to why we couldn't park our motorbikes in the garage. It was LIES.
Very central, it perfectly corresponded to my needs.
Overall gold service and welcoming.
I always stay at Motel One when in Saarbruecken. It has an excellent location but the main reason is that I really love the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are functional and comfortable, it’s clean. The bar is a xx lovely area to spend time in be it relaxing or working and a good breakfast too. I definitely recommend it.
perfect location in Saarbruecken, charming atmosphere.
Price quality ratio makes it a 9
Motel One Saarbrücken is a perfect place for a weekend city trip. The location is perfect and the hotel itself offers a cosy, "no-non-sense" atmosphere. Reception is very friendly and welcoming, so felt well taken care of straight away. All facilities are well-kept and modern; breakfast is varied and very good. Parking is limited on the premisses, but there is a parking garage available next to the State Theatre just across the road. Motel One is my first choice for personal and business travel any time.
alles gut
Fabulous place to stay en route from Calais to Ingolstadt. Very friendly staff and always happy to see our cat Thomas who comes to stay regularly. Rooms are clean and functional and a lovely ambience at the bar.
Fine, as usual. I often stay here. The hotel keeps my favourite room for me. A bit noisy when it rains, with raindrops dripping onto the window sill.
Great team, great location, great design

Super Team
everything ok, very nice personnel!
Rooms are very practical and have everything needed. Breakfast is very good. However, I found it annoying and unnecessary to request payment as soon as we came tired after a long trip. In addition, the breakfast cost was listed separately, which is very inpractical for us and the invoice could not be changed the next day. This should have been asked by the personnel. Keycard to enter the room didn't work properly. It usually took me 10-20 times to succesfully open the room. The receptionist, whom I contacted, said I am not the first one with the problem. I tried everyrhing, slow, long, fast... It was always just the matter of the number of times tried which sometimes took me very long.
Generally, a nice and conveniently located hotel. Rooms are typical for Motel One. For those travelling with an electric car: charging the car can be quite a challenge in the area. The hotel has two spots in the own parking area, but those can't be reserved nor are they clearly marked (and others may park on them) - plus their usage is not the easiest. Some reception employees were helpful in pointing out other options, but it would be great if the hotel could a) provide a quick guide to the usage of their own charging stations and b) a map indicating further ones (including information like are they in a car park or public etc.).
Perfect location in old town and connected to the train station by a long pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants. The rooms are nicely designed but spare, with minimal space to unpack clothes or lay out toilitries in the bath. there is no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. Some rooms can be small and not good for spending time in; others have a seating area and are comfortable for a longer stay. The staff are excellent and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and worth the price. I would stay here again.
I have been staying in the Motel One in Saarbruecken for years now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast is excellent so is the selection at the bar. It is always a pleasant stay.
Very kind and gentle personnel, good breakfast, nice cosy athomsphere in lobby.
Klasse! Rundherum toll.
Very helpful staff - clean and comfortable rooms - nice and cosy lobby
Staff, rooms, location is all great. Just your inhouse parking reservation policy is annoying.
Motel was clean and tidy. Only issue was the air conditioning was not fit for purpose. Had to sleep with the window open and suffered mosquitoe bites, street and car noise plus street lights.
Sehr gutes, City-nahes Business-Hotel!
everthing was fine :) just the main road on one site of the building is too loud, so the window cannot be opened... but this is something that you not really can change ;-)
Good location. The hotel's car park was full, but the excellent underground theatre car park is just over the road. Comfortable bed & a good, quiet room. Excellent for an overnight stop on our way to Switzerland. Several restaurants & bars nearby.
I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and room. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and it was good to note that breakfast was available from 6 am till10am. The staff are attentive and friendly too. The location is very good and offers easy access to the city areas with shops and restaurants all around the area of the hotel.
Everything was good. 2 points for improvement: 1) online check in: why spend time doing this, when you need to give you passport and credit card again when physically checking in. The ar code received by online check in was not used. A pity 2) make it possible to re serve parking space.
Alles Top 🖖
Lovely hotel, very central with parking outside, lovely bar area. We had room with balcony...
I have always been fascinated with Motel One rooms and locations. I have been in Motel One Saarbrücken 4 times and will continue going there and still recommend my friends who have also been there more than once and others. As a matter of fact, next week I will be staying in Motel One in Freiburg. Your hotel offers great location, warm environment and good service. However, the Saarbrücken staff is the one that I really admire for their great service and friendliness. Thanks for doing such a good job!
Highly recommend MotelOne SB. Usual MotelOne comfortable arrangements including nice breakfast and great staff. Pleasant patio and great location for restaurants, strolling and shopping.
Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean. Polite staff. Highly recommended.
Motel One Saarbrücken is a smaller hotel but has all the perks. The rooms are well designed and clean, the staff friendly, and the location could not be more central. A major plus: secure bicycle parking in the garage!
I always stay in Motel One when I am in Saarbruecken now. I tried a few other hotels in the beginning but none of them ticked the boxes as Motel One does. The staff is always very welcoming and always happy to help. The lobby/bar is nice and comfy but also fit gor doing a few hours work on the laptop. The rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast is very good and I also like that Motel One is aiming at being environmentally friendly.

Location and surroundings
Set in stone
Bienvenue à Sarrebruck – and our affordable design hotel Motel One Saarbrücken! Just a stone’s throw – well, 15 minutes – from the French border, our hotel is located right in the city centre. It’s an ideal starting point for your stay in Saarbrücken because, thanks to its central location, there’s time to explore the city centre at leisure even after a business meeting. And if you’re here for a trade fair, our hotel is perfectly located. It couldn’t be easier to get here, with the central station only about 1 km away and Saarbrücken airport 17 km away from the hotel.
What does Saarbrücken have to offer?
Or are you visiting the Saarland capital for a fun city break? If so, you’ll find almost all the attractions this city on the Saar river has to offer within walking distance: the Saarland State Theatre, the Modern Gallery, the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, Ludwigskirche, Saarbrücken Castle... And if you’re looking for a little less culture, the Franco-German Garden and Ludwigspark stadium aren’t far either.
Speaking of stone – Saarbrücken’s historic city wall, which extends into our lounge, is just one of the highlights that await you in our hotel. The design is full of contrasts: traditional and modern. Floral and geometric. Elegant and, at times, a little more rough. A playful combination of designs, with plenty of references to our stylish neighbour France. So in the morning, you can enjoy bistro chic at our hotel’s extensive breakfast and then in the evening, relax in an opulent lounge atmosphere with a drink at the bar, before heading to your room for a well-deserved sleep (like a stone, we hope) in our box-spring beds.
A relaxing place to be, both inside and out!
Or if the weather’s nice, perhaps you’ll be venturing outdoors: our Outdoor Lounge presents a pleasing contrast to the restaurants, cafés and shops of St. Johanner Markt – the hub of urban bustle just around the corner from our hotel – providing an oasis of tranquillity right in the city centre. Relaxation with a capital R. It doesn’t get better than this!
