Nice Hotel in a good location
Great hotel in a good location in Zürich. Everything here is expensive but this seemed one of the more reasonably priced hotels. Rooms do not have a kettle or fridge which we would have appreciated but on the whole we enjoyed our stay.
Sorry, but for that price I have experienced much more level of service quality. Key observations: - breakfast 5 from 10 - Room service 6 from 10 - Location 10 from 10

Gym missing
The hotel has a beautiful, stylish design with a very comfortable lobby area. The breakfast was excellent, the beds were comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff across reception, breakfast service, housekeeping, and the bar were all friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we did have one negative interaction with a member of the reception staff regarding noise. While the concern itself was completely valid, the way it was communicated came across as unnecessarily blunt. Aside from that incident, our stay was very enjoyable. There are also a few small improvements that could make the rooms even better. It would be nice to have blinds in addition to the blackout curtains, and the bathroom ventilation could be a bit stronger. One simple change that could significantly improve guests’ comfort would be to provide any kind of basic female hygiene products in the bathrooms, rather than only disposal bags. This would be especially helpful for guests arriving late when shops are closed, and could genuinely save someone’s stay. If cost is a consideration and something else would need to be reduced, sanitary products would be far more useful than the tissues or sanitary bags currently provided.
For this amoun of money, there is no water, coffee, flip flop etc in the room. These are minor things for that fee
Wonderful staff and a fantastic location!
Hotel room was comfortable, the breakfast was adequate ( although not worth the coast) and convenient. However the motel charged me a no show fee when I was making my reservation the website kicked me out, when I returned I thought my registration date was set. The website reset the date for the day I was making the reservation. So I was charged double for my one stay.
Comfortable and functional room with compact bathroom facilities. Reported the bathroom fan was not working as excessive steam built up in the small bathroom making it difficult to see without having to leave the door open. Opted to eat breakfast out due to close proximity of top rated cafes. Bar/lounge area was a little tired in areas. We used the bar service in the evenings we stayed and unfortunately the bar/waiting staff got our order incorrect each time.
Everything was great, just a couple of observations: 1) Sometimes I had to wait for someone to show up at the lounge bar (in the morning); 2) You could include a complementary bottle of water in the hotel room.

I have stayed at your Zurich motel twice now and like it very much. However on both occasions the TV in the room didn;t work (kept switching off on my first stay and then didn't go on at all on my second). You should also provide some complimentary water in the room - I think this is a must have too. Other than that it is a nice place.
Everything is excellent, from the staff to room to amazing breakfast spread. Nothing to fault.
We loved the hotel and it was close to the old town. Two things that we felt needed improvement though were: the cooling system was not working so our rooms got very hot at night, and some of the staff were a bit rude! We did feel like the hotel was good value for money.

Great hotel, staff and service.
The hotel is centrally located and allowed easy access to many restaurants and shops. The public tram system is near by so we were able to move around with relative ease. The hotel staff was very helpful and made the stay memorable.
Had a wonderful stay-staff was very helpful. I would stay there again in the future.

Very good location close to Stockerstrasse Tram and to Coop/Migros stores.Very efficient check in/out. Nice to give water bottle free. Great lounge area with bar offers space and privacy. Room spartanisch but clean. Absolutely fine. All provide one needs for a short stayover. Add shoehorn please
There didnt seem to be any added niceties of staying here - no tea or coffee in room, no fridge. It was adequate but considering the cost i was surprised by how little you get.
No shower caps, no slippers & no body lotion available in the room

I was disappointed with my room - it was compact and the door to the bathroom didn't open fully due to it hitting the bed when it was half way open. There was no drinking water in the room and no telephone to call down to reception. Having arrived reasonably late at night, heading up to the 4th floor to then discover I had a question for reception and having to head back down instead of simply calling on an internal phone was frustrating. Bottled water, a mini fridge and a telephone for calling reception are basic amenities expected in a four star hotel. Breakfast was continental and fine - location was good, not too far off the Bahnhofstrasse. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very good. Rooms are confortable and spacious. Nice location, nice facilities. Only thing that can be improved is the selection of products in the breakfast.
Removing the endless city construction, I had a wonderful stay. The room was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay again!
very nice hotel, good breakfast that could be improved with a wider choich of natural/healthy products. I did not like the corridor carpet they installed during my week stay, it was too a chemical kind and smelly.

This isn't my first time staying at a Motel One. The stay was very nice; the rooms are spacious and clean. If there had been a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the rating would definitely be a 10.

Still a lot of things missing, no coffee machine, nor phone (not working at all) in the room and also besides soap (was also not working) no articles in the bath. Toast in the bar downstairs was sooo bad and simple that a 5 year old kid could do it better and it was sold like a Mediterranean style toast. Really bad…. Breakfast was okay Shower was full of limescale on the floor.
My 15th stay with you and as ever always a pleasure. Smooth experience for the entire stay, and always great to see familiar faces at breakfast as always. I look forward to returning again soon.
Room was very quiet. For our business trip it was good location. As for the breakfast I missed eggs and sausages, but otherwise it was good.
1) heating did not work 2) quite frequent client had an issue with the room (due to the booking agency) not solved...

this is incredible to not have fridge in the rooms. there are so much purchases could not made by us in the city due to lack of fridge. this is the most common unsatisfactory thing but very very dissapointing actually. only for just one cheap fridge we cannot be satisfied from our stay.

Our Design Hotel in Zurich is situated in the town centre, close to the old botanical gardens at Schanzengraben. Paradeplatz and Bahnhofstrasse, the Grossmünster church and other central sights are well within walking distance. The central station is not far off, and Lake Zurich is just a few blocks away.
