A very nice hotel, the rooms facing the courtyard are generally quiet, but at night crates with bottles are often pushed across the courtyard, which is somewhat disturbing when the window is open. The breakfast is very good, overall highly recommendable and a good location in Zurich.

Welcome to Motel One Zurich ! Here we’re all about the mountains, the chocolate and the nearby lake.
Entering the lobby you’re confronted straight away by a picturesque silhouette of the Swiss Alps, framed by loden curtains from Swiss luxury brand Christian Fischbacher. Over a healthy breakfast in our One Lounge you can gaze upon evocative images of nearby Lake Zurich and an original Boesch model boat – to get you in the mood for a day on the water. Our bar, in contrast, is dedicated to the Switzerland’s number one export: chocolate – from the drops of chocolate raining from the ceiling to the golden wrapper over the counter. Who could resist such sweet temptation?


Our Design Hotel in Zurich is situated in the town centre, close to the old botanical gardens at Schanzengraben. Paradeplatz and Bahnhofstrasse, the Grossmünster church and other central sights are well within walking distance. The central station is not far off, and Lake Zurich is just a few blocks away.
