I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Motel One. It is the most reasonably priced hotel/motel I've ever experienced. The rooms are basic but well kept and clean. The breakfast was great, and the atmosphere and staff were amazing!
We were a group of 6 people and had a wonderful stay at Motel One Zürich. Everything was very good, from the cleanliness of the hotel to the comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Zürich. The hotel was quiet and well maintained; we felt very comfortable during our stay. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
When I checked in, the front desk attendant was cold, not friendly, and not welcoming. I think her name was Sophia. She was actually very rude. She said she didn’t have any rooms available. Then suddenly she did and she put me in room 150…first floor way in back of hotel. I asked for a room on higher floor and she said no. Then she gives me room key and that was it. No thank you, enjoy your stay, or directions to the lift or where my room was. She was downright rude. Them later that day my friends and I went to the hotel bar for a cocktail. The 2 women behind the bar were chatting with each other and it took several minutes before they acknowledged us and took our order. Neither checked on how are drink was, if we needed anything else, or paid any attention to us. I had to call her and flag her down when another friend joined us. Worst service I’ve ever experienced during my trip or ever at a bar. We left after 1 night and headed for our next destination. We considered staying at Motel one in Cologne but I refused to after my experience in Zurich. Overall very disappointed in my experience with your property because of the poor service. I will search for other properties for future stays.
considering the price I would have expected to have at least a bottle of water and a glass in the room.
Thanks for the nice and clean room during our stay, we liked the hotel overall . only small few comments that may be important for most travelers .. would be good to have a small kettle in room for hot water use and small refrigerator would be handy, also a small bin-trash with a lead in bathroom would be more hygienic. Otherwise all other things were good . Room size / comfort / cleanliness were all good, Lounge area is peaceful and smart for working people and also for relaxing.. Personnel were very helpful and friendly . We had a good stay in your hotel and would choose again if we travel again. Also being in very good location was plus for us to travel with ease. have a good day !
Great location, clean, and adequate, but poor room lighting, a lack of basic equipment, such as a desk, and an overwhelming feeling that one is staying in an accommodation factory makes the hotel seem relatively poor value.
In general a good experience. Staff friendly, hotel very clean, breakfast is very standard probably better value for money eating out. Mattress was a bit too firm for me but I know you cant please everyone. I dont mind an accessible bathroom too much but I think there should be a choice to have one or not, and/or to be informed beforehand. Ive been in too many hospitals and you feel a bit like you are in a ward than in a hotel room. The biggest gripe with the bathroom is the basin - I shave every morning and the hand basin is tiny and did not have a plug.
The room is very minimally equipped, and the breakfast area feels significantly overcrowded with a rather limited selection. In other cities, a similar price point typically comes with a noticeably higher level of service, so the offering here feels comparatively basic. The staff are nice, attentive, and consistently contribute to a more pleasant stay.

Room was clean and comfortable with toilet equipped for handicapped guest. Thank you wadie for helping me register and making the booking on short notice even at almost midnight. You really saved me by answer the call otherwise I have to sleep on the street!
on my second morning, there was no warm water in the shower. When I brought this up during checkout, I was only told that they would look into it. no compensation offered.
I wanted to check in at 2pm, knowing that it is only at 3pm but I had business meetings to attend. the receptionist told me there is no room available. while I was waiting for my room, at least 5 other people got a room while she saw me waiting next to the reception. when I went to another receptionist 15 minutes later, she gave me a room right away. the second receptionist was very nice.

Good stay, nice service. It is a bit annoying to always get the room on the other side (026 this time) but the room itself is great.
Stylish, clean & functional. 2nd stay. Not sure why they are unable to provide irons. Would have preferred a wider selection at breakfast. However, the hotel served me well, and I would return again.
Comfortable hotel within walking distance of the old town and various points of interest in Zurich, as well as Lake Zurich. It would have been good if there were 2 chairs provided for the double rooms. The rooms were very clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The reception staff were friendly and helpful in providing information.
Best value & quality in Zurich! Clean, well-designed, and just right. Bedding and pillows were great. Also... quiet!! I could hear a light rumble from the nearby tram but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, interrupted my sleep. Climate control was simple, and also quiet. The soaps in the shower and sink were also a very good quality. The location was fantastic for exploring the city too. We would walk across a couple districts without realizing it. Stations nearby for trams and train to the airport, and easy to get to Zurich HB for trains to other cities.

La verdad es que el detalle de regalar una única botella de agua para dos personas en el bar es feo. Lo apropiado es dejar dos botellas (una por persona) en la habitación.

Hotel en una ubicación muy buena en Zurich con un precio aceptable comparado con otras opciones. La habitación muy limpia y silenciosa. El único detalle a arreglar seria tener un acceso mas fácil en la entrada si se lleva mucho equipaje.

Excelente atención, ubicación y amabilidad de parte del personal de recepción, bar. La decoración moderna en un edificio antiguo totalmente restituido: increíble. Ubicación a 150metros del río, a 600metros del lago y casco antiguo. Ampliamente recomendable. Muchas gracias.
Atención excelente, habitaciones espaciosas
Muy caro por lo que ofrecen. No hay un restaurante básico en el Hotel, para un día de lluvia o cansancio, obliga a salir. No tienen al menos una botella de agua en la habitación. Ni acondicionador. Me parece excesivo el precio que pague por lo que ofrecen, al menos en Zurich. Si destaco Ubicación y desayuno muy bueno
En la habitación se echa en falta una nevera y una máquina de café como sí hay en otros Motel One. También instalaciones como gimnasio y más opciones de comida en el bar.
Resaltó a Jeffrey quien desde el día que llegué me atendió de maravilla y siempre estuvo a la orden para ayudar.

Excelente hotel, en muy buen estado, bastnte amplias las habitaciones, muy limpio e insonorizado el hotel. Muy buena ubicacion, el desayuno muy completo y de buena calidad.
Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en un hotel de esta cadena y así lo haré cada vez que pueda. Habitaciones funcionales, extralimpias, camas muy cómodas y nuevas. Baño limpio y cómodo. Completo desayuno y con la ventaja de no hacer check out. Muy buena opción en Zurich.
Muy buen estado general del hotel, muy bien mantenida la habitación. Se valoran las instalaciones tranquilas, sin ruidos. Me resultó cómodo y ameno.
Céntrico, bien conectado, silencioso, camas cómodas y buena atención al cliente. Podría mejorar: equipar los cuartos con tetera y un buffet más completo (es escaso).

Nuestro hotel de diseño en Zúrich está directamente en el centro, cerca del Antiguo Jardín Botánico en Schanzengraben. Puedes llegar a pie a la plaza Paradeplatz y a la calle Bahnhofstrasse, a la Catedral Grossmünster y a otros lugares de interés. La estación central también está cerca y el lago de Zúrich está a un corto paseo.
