Everything was ok.
There was a hair stuck at one of the pillow, and another in one of the bathroom towels. Curtains look old and dirty. Reception forgot to give me my water and I had to request for it the next day. One of your staff knocked very loudly on my door on check-out day, and walked away when I opened my door. I opened my door again and see her around and ask her why she knocked on my door and she said she cannot understand English. I assumed she was asking about my check-out so I said 12pm since it was listed as 12pm on Google. She knocked at 9am, 3 hours before check-out. Do you need to disturb customers 3hours before check-out?
I had booked parking and only when I arrived was I informed that the parking was full. Giving a bottle of water at the reception is rediculous. Should be a daily complimentary service in the room - this is not a low cost. Breakfast area where the food is should be redisigned can get really croudy. Very small room and what is meant by "with view" is really subjective, as my view was not a nice view.

We stood 01.-03-05.26 in Room 033. The room was very annoying. Climate control not yet working, despite asking for it at reception. Opening the window was de-facto impossible, as the smoke and discussion noice of all these smokers direct in front of the room went straight into the room. The smell of the smoke was really frustrating and created a bad feeling about the hotel and especially the stay in room direct located near-by the smoking area.
In general, everything is fine and I regularly visit the hotel. There was just one issue: the different weather conditions in times of climate change. If you ask your visitors to keep the windows closed (to keep out insects), you HAVE TO enable the air condition depending on the weather, not on calendar dates. A number of room windows, such as mine, are exposed almost plainly to the South, and this weekend, there was full sunshine with temperatures up to 28 °C. Given the small size of the rooms, they heat up pretty quickly. There needs to be a way to cool them down, even before the end of May. Apart from that, everything was fine, as usual. Thanks go out to the staff working there.
The hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Dresden. The room was wonderfully appointed. The design is great, using every possible space in a room wisely. It would be good to have body lotion available. It's a simple plus that completes the shower experience. Also a big note of thanks to Felix who provided such useful tips to the city, everything from museums to restaurants. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic and picked up quickly on our interests.

This dog room 302 seemed a little smaller than the last one. Very little room to Move.. but great service , good bar tender and breakfast ladies. Happy with parking and everything in general.

Been always a pleasure to stay in your hotel especially Palaisplatz in Dresden Neustadt. Workers are nice. Would be nice to have buffet there in the evening with live music!! Motel one was situated near the train station so took minutes to locate. The room was spotless however it didn't offer tea/coffee facilities but I didn't ask reception if they supplied a kettle
- the room was over all very nice and clean, though there were some spots with dust (dust-threads on the ceiling, some corners). - the breakfast was good, all standard things were there, nothing extraordinary (I'm personally a fan of warm breakfast, but I understand, that this is potentially logistically challenging) - I had two sets of towels in the bath, even though I only needed one set as I booked single. This could be improved for sustainability, if the service staff knows which rooms are booked single or double. - On the topic of sustainability, I liked the option to foregoe room service. I also like the (now standard) notices about optionally not changing the towels everyday. I did not experience whether you actually follow those (most other hotels I have seen those notices at, sadly did not). - I liked the fireplace on the TV when I came into the room, it made it quite cozy. - If it is not a fire hazard issue, decoration in the staircase (paintings or similar) could invite more people to take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Overall excellent. Only two things which could be improved: 1. wooden floor in the room instead of carpet. 2. offer in addition a „quick breakfast“ (coffee and croissant, or similar)
We enjoyed our stay at this perfect place with super friendly staff, great breakfast. From this location, all important hotspots of the city can be reached by foot. If you want to visit Dresden, this Motel One at Zwinger is the place to be. The booking was quite easy via the Motel One app, I changed later by e-mail our check out date with friendly hotel staff.
Great location in Neustadt, marvelous Kästner-related design, love the lounge.

Perfect location, in walking distance to sights in the old town center, to REWE supermarket, bakery, many restaurant. The hotel has a very nice and contemporary design with a great lobby and bar. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the perfect stay!
Once again, Motel One delivered as expected. Exactly what we needed. Will return to Motel One Dresden. Thank you.

Conocí la cadena de Motel One por una guía de viajes de Frankfurt. Me han gustado. También reserve para Frankfurt. Esta vez en una habitación más grande. Me gustan también los hoteles que tenéis de categoría superior, estuvimos en Hamburgo. El trato personal es excelente. Un saludo y hasta la próxima.
We had anu excellent stay at this super modern design hotel, situated a few minutes from the main sights in Dresden and serving a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed in particular the extraordinary handicap friendly room, including the bathroom specially equipped for disabled persons
A modern hotel featuring nicely decorated rooms, a comfortable bed and excellent shower, superb location, and warm, welcoming staff.
Great location and good style, parking options. Room is small (though we took the bigger option), not very convenient, parking expensive, rates very high during bigger events, and the immediate charging policy (not shared by other MotelOne‘s!) is odd—whatever the extra service (garage, breakfast, etc.), you need to go to the desk and pay first…

Nice hotel, very good beds. While I understand that the breakfast area can be too crowded to allow dogs, not every dog likes being left on its own in an unknown environment.

En líneas generales, el hotel me ha parecido que tiene una buena relación calidad - precio. Sin embargo, creo que hay varios aspectos que deberían de mejorar, sobre todo el desayuno ya que no sólo carece de alternativas de comida caliente (como huevos revueltos, bacon, etc) sino que además al staff le cuesta mucho esfuerzo la resposición de los alimentos ya que mientras la zona de desayuno está en un área, la cocina está en la otra punta de lobby. Además, al no ser demasiadas personas tienen que multiplicar sus esfuerzos, esto se arreglaría contratando más personal para cada una de las tareas. Por otra parte, en lo relativo a la limpieza, nos encontramos polvo en las baldas donde se coloca la ropa y, desgraciadamente, una de las noches tuvimos que poner una queja en recepción ya que el personal de limpieza había dejado todo el día la ventana de la habitación abierta cuando, expresamente, se les pide a los clientes que la cierren para evitar la entrada de insectos (cosa que nos ocurrió debido al despiste de su personal); además de no haber hecho bien la limpieza dejando sin vaciar el cubo del baño. Afortunadamente, su personal de recepción tomó amablemente nota de ello y no se volvió a repetir. No me gusta hacer este tipo de comentarios ya que todos cometemos errores pero, quizás el tiempo o el personal asignado a la limpieza no es el adecuado. Una última cuestión, a mi llegada, el sábado 10 de mayo, pedí que se me enviase la factura del hotel en formato digital a mi correo electrónico, a fecha de hoy, lunes 19 de mayo aún no le he recibido cuando se me confirmó en recepción que no había ningún problema en realizarlo.
Ubicación inmejorable, bar lounge acogedor; limpieza y habitaciones buenas.
La habitación era muy pequeña, el baño era muy pequeño, el desayuno muy poco variado, caro (181€), y encima me dejé olvidada encima de la cama, una chaqueta forro polar, me di cuenta a las dos horas cuando iba en el coche de camino a otro destino, contacté con el hotel (2 llamadas que no cogieron) para ver si podíamos organizar la devolución, y el hotel me dijo que no habían encontrado la chaqueta. Es mentira. Me parece fatal, porque aunque la prenda no tenía valor económico, si tenía valor sentimental.
