Room and bathroom are a bit small - but everything else is very good to excellent - especially staff
We found the whole experience really great! Good value for money, reactive and amazing staff at the reception (we booked just an hour before) and wonderful for us: we could still have a toastie and drink after midnight and benefited from the late checkout on Sunday. The hotel itself is also in a great location and we had a lovely view over Karlsruhe.

Technical problems with the booking system meant I had to book by phone and as a result didn't get my Be One membership discount. Very disappointing.

The concierge was super friendly, he gave us a lot of advice and suggestions on our next visits , like restaurants and clubs! He was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's location is simply amazing, we had a very good stay. The bed was comfortable, the quality of price was high. We would come back! The sky bar was amazing, the drinks were well made.
Nice and affordable price, staff was really nice and professional. Location is really close to the city center and we were able to go to the office or the train station on-foot.
Comfortable bed and also the chair was comfy. Having a relaxing virtual fish tank on the TV screen is a nice touch. The lounge area had a wide selection of seating. I didn't use the bar.
I stayed two nights at Motel One Karlsruhe and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre, making everything very convenient and easy to access. The rooms are very comfortable, with excellent beds, and everything throughout the hotel was impeccably clean and extremely well maintained. I especially appreciated the calm and pleasant atmosphere. The service was truly outstanding throughout my stay. The staff was always incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and ready to help with absolutely any request. I travelled with my 12-year-old son and wanted him to stay in a separate room. The hotel team immediately found a perfect solution and arranged connecting rooms for us, which made our stay much more comfortable. There honestly was not a single request that remained unresolved. On many occasions, the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable — often anticipating my needs even before I mentioned them myself. The hotel also offers a spacious parking area, something I have always appreciated at Motel One hotels. And the bar is absolutely fantastic — beautiful design, a wonderful atmosphere, and the perfect place to relax in the evening. I will definitely return.

We had a pleasant stay at Motel One. The staff was very friendly, our room was super clean, and the breakfast was extensive. Most of the products were organic.

My experience at this hotel was mixed. The rooms were very clean and the environment was fairly quiet, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, the staff was not particularly welcoming. I also noticed a difference in treatment: unlike my colleagues, I did not receive a free bottle of water. At breakfast, our table had not been cleaned in the morning, after previous guests had left, which gave an impression of poor organization and lack of attention to service. In the evening, we had a drink at the bar. The bartender was very kind and professional, but he seemed slightly overwhelmed by the number of orders he had to handle on his own.
8 for breakfast for 2 reasons. First, cheap bitter coffee , second, eggs ends in the first 30 minutes, mo more replenishment.

During breakfast, when there were a lot of guests, there were no free tables in the lounge bar. And the wait staff didn't always have time to clear the empty tables. Please resolve this issue, and everything will be fine.

Everything is great, except for the room temperature which is much too low for me. I always need three blankets and three layers of clothes to keep from getting cold. Would be great if one could increase the temperature easily (which does not work with the air conditioning).
I was only here for one night - my request for a quiet room was thankfully granted. I did sleep well despite the paperthin walls (I did hear my neighbour snore through the wall and my earplugs!). The staff was very naturally friendly which is also always nice.
Once more a Motel One was a nice place to stay at, with wonderful staff and a comfortable room.

Everything very nice and great atmosphere. Small point: - Breakfast was good, but not great. No scrambled egg or similar. - For 2 nights, I saw a light blue Ferrari parking in the 15-minute loading zone before the hotel, while I paid for parking underground. I felt that was not ok. But no one had the guts to tell the driver?
Motel One keeps improving with each new hotel. The bar and reception area inKarlsruhe is spacious and the decor is imaginative and colourful. Bedroom had a great view over the town and beyond. Sound proof despite busy road outside. One of the best Motel One's so far ( and I've stayed in a lot of them). The booking process via internet can be tricky. It's easy to book the wrong dates by mistake.

I love motel one hotels. That’s why Iam a guest more or less at least once a week. I love it because it’s perfectly designed and organized to let me wind down after a long and busy day. - However there is one thing that annoys me every single time I enter my motel one room…. Curious what it might be?

We had a lovely time, if we could criticize a couple of points it would be breakfast, some where along the line it seems fashionable to have breakfast in the bar area, this makes it very uncomfortable and slightly impersonal, would prefer better seating when breakfast is offered, also scrambled eggs would be preferred, but I’m complaining on a high level as you guys done a great job in thinking ahead for so many people in your hotel. Great bar, lovely hotel, room was wonderful, we had a lovely time……very friendly staff you have.
Se trata de un hotel nuevo. La habitación es cómoda pero el tamaño un poco justo, sobre todo el baño. Mobiliario funcional y moderno. La cama es cómoda pero empieza a notarse el uso. Limpieza impoluta. Lo único complicado es el aparcamiento en la zona, muy difícil y caro. El hotel ofrece parking a 20 € por día.

Arriving in my room 722, in the bathroom I found a huge clot of hair. I called reception that I wanted another room the accommodated but asked me to come again downstairs. I asked them to meet me at the lift, when the lady arrived to give me the keys. I wanted to show her the dirty hair, she was not interested.
We very much like this hotel. We love the way it has thought of all the things that are important when you travel: a really good bed, friendly staff, parking that is safe and clean. The location at the edge of the intercity is convenient. The restaurant next door The Last Meal is very good and open late. We loved our stay (again).
I was travelling with my electric wheelchair dependent daughter; which is always a challenge. Apart from the excellent wheelchair accessible room, the staff was very friendly and helpful: they even reserved the PRM-parking spot for us, free of charge and without us asking at beforehand.
It's well located, very clean and quiet. Beds are amazing. I am looking forward to enjoying the Sky Bar soon. Personal is friendly.

I have stayed at other Motel One hotels and know the overall concept. My booking was made by my local business partner hence it was not my personal choice, but I very much enjoyed my stay and I would definitely like to select Motel One again for my next visit to Karlsruhe. Apart from the facts that the rooms are not equipped with minibars, my overall experience was very good.
We loved this hotel! The staff is really friendly and helpful. And the room is so comfortable. We love the details, everything is just right! An example: you can park below in the carpark, get your suitcases and roll everything up to your room, the doors open automatically and your don't have to lift your stuff. Also the location in the city is very convenient. Very much a 10.
