Several times I've stopped at the hotel. Staff are always polite and friendly, rooms are clean and breakfast is always stocked up .
10th stay at the hotel back again in 6 days for another stay. Staff are friendly location is perfect and the rooms are great price.
Very rude staff and the receptionist was horrible never experienced something like that wouldn’t recommend to anyone going up north to Newcastle
Great location, ideal for someone coming from the train station, very easy to find. Beautiful location/building well designed and has all the necessary amenities you will need. The welcome at the reception was 10/10, I arrived at 11:00 and was checked in immediately, perfect thank you so much. The room was so peaceful 431, I highly recommend this. Hot drink facilities in the room and the walk in shadower were amazing for the price I paid. I didn’t have breakfast however when I was leaving the next day, I walked through and it was extremely generous. There are bars and restaurants in the becoming and everything is in walking distance. This hotel is a must.
I feel the reception area ,bar reception staff are all excellent however I feel the rooms feel a little tired and do not reflect the downstairs.
Room as advertised, nice view of the Tyne bridge (top floor). The room was clean and the bar was pleasant but no draught beers.
I had a great stay at the Motel One Newcastle. The location was great, being this close to the main station but also in the city center. The room had everything I needed. The breakfast was good, but I would have loved more vegan options. Especially some soy yogurt would have been great.

I was going to send an email about the experience I had this weekend, I’m not going to lie we we’re throughly disappointed to be woke up at 2:30 in the morning to the police banging on our hotel door, I understand the circumstances but it was extremely frustrating as this trip was booked for me and my partner to be able to relax and get some unbroken sleep.
I was moved to a double as requested to be near friends, which was great and efficient. However, the room wasn't the cleanest , near the window and under the small table were bits that hadn't been hoovered. Of the morning we checked out, there wasn't any hot water. This was extremely disappointing as we had a freezing cold, rushed shower (was asked to wait for it bring fixed, so ran out of time) before our next travels.

There was a smell coming from the drain in the shower room. Other than that everything else was fine.
No hot water Cups in room are horrible Breakfast not that great conceding was just contenial not kept topped up enough Security on door wasnt informed about that at check in which is bad if have a key card shouldn't need to prove which room we are in.

Can't fault room, facilities or location but I would never have breakfast there again. This was a 3rd stay and have had no previous problems. We didn't go to breakfast until 9.45 ( breakfast till 11am) but there were lots of things missing, although we were there over 1/2 hr there was no staff present to ask for a simple thing like a bread bun which were empty. £14.95 for a depleted continental breakfast was very poor.
No hot water for a shower .
Hotel in great location, bar & breakfast area lovely, room small but adequate and very clean. TV was not working properly, we did tell staff and they offered us another room, there was no hot water in the morning so unable to shower.
Everything great other than no hot water on Saturday morning meaning we could not shower before checking out
Great location just of Grey St. Lovely bar and lounge areas and o/s terrace. Room and bed very comfortable and attentive staff. Highly recommended

I have stayed in many motel ones over the years. 50 plus overnights. Always really good no issues. This time, 2 nights in Newcastle. The toilet/shower/drains had awful smell.
PROS: My train arrived early so I made my way to the hotel to see about leaving my bag with reception pending check-in time. However, as I arrived, my room was ready, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were all very accommodating, too. CONS: I was allocated room 116 which is next to a storage room for supplies. The shared wall was the wall against which the bed's headboard rests. In the morning, each time housekeeping opened this door and left it to swing close, it would bang loudly and shake the wall and the headboard. So if you're hoping for a long lie, this isn't possible in this room.

A solid hotel - clean, convenient with friendly staff. In the United States, I would think this would be a top-of-the-line three star hotel. I was looking for a 4 star but the price of this room and the hotel’s location were too attractive to pass up. I am happy I stayed here.

Great location, perfect room with the amenities I needed. Good value for money.
Room adequate for single traveller, sheets and bathroom very clean but carpet was filthy. Felt like i had to put my shoes back on after showering to avoid direct contact with carpet. I was meant to get a free bottle of water with my membership but never received or was offered this.
It’s my 9th stay at the hotel and as always staff are friendly great location and great pricing

The pillows were not comfortable and the room picture was showing stunning images of the city while our room was looking at the parking. Very nice location in the center.

Nos sorprendió agradablemente que cuando llegamos, ya por la noche, en la recepción nos atendieran tan bien y en castellano!. Eli/Lissy nos atendió de una forma muy cálida, y nos hizo sentir relajados solo poner un pie en el hotel. Además respondió a todas nuestras preguntas sobre la ciudad y nos hizo muy buenas recomendaciones. La localización es inmejorable.

Hotel Newcastle
Nuestro Motel One Newcastle en el corazón de la ciudad está caracterizado por el encanto del ladrillo visto: el estilo industrial de las auténticas fachadas de ladrillo evocan la historia de esta ciudad obrera. En el interior, los puentes del río Tyne marcan el tema determinante de la decoración y el diseño; el estiloso bar con su imagen industrial rinde homenaje al trabajo del inventor de The Rocket —el Cohete de Stephenson—, como se conocía a la locomotora de vapor inventada por Robert Stephenson. Muebles de Baxter en cuero auténtico y alfombras de gran valor de Jan Kath completan el estilo industrial. Sofisticados detalles como sillas de Arketipo con extravagantes marcos de acero o una vitrina de espejos con garrafas de whisky le dan un toque encantador.
No se trata, precisamente, de una casualidad que el papel a rayas de la pared que decora la recepción aporte el inconfundible estilo británico y que, además, recuerde a las camisetas del Newcastle United. Su ubicación en el centro histórico es idónea para el estilo industrial moderno de nuestro económico hotel de diseño. Lugares emblemáticos como el Theatre Royal, el Grey’s Monument y el Ayuntamiento de Newscastle están a escasos metros. También resulta muy práctica la cercanía a la estación central y al aeropuerto.
