Great room with fantastic view.
PLEASE put fridges in the rooms. Some of us have medications that need to stay cold, as well as special dietary requirements that mean we need to keep special groceries, Also: why does a hotel this size not have accessible/handicapped rooms? Why do you not have shower chairs available?
Had an Excellent stay here. I'm moving to Bonn from Mumbai, India and I stayed at Motel One Bonn-Hauptbahnhof for a little over a week until my apartment was ready to move into. They were extremely kind and accomodating. Every member of staff I interacted with was kind, professional, and friendly. They helped me figure out how to get necessities when the airline lost all my bags for a few days, then held the bags/boxes I didn't need in their storage so I didn't have to keep the extras in my room. I really feel like the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and not like a bother with the extra luggage from moving. When I was reading outside on a hot afternoon one of the staff made sure I drank some tap water for the heat. During checkout another staff member offered to handle breaking down and disposing of the packaging from my boxes after I switched the contents to luggage I had taken to my new home and emptied earlier on checkout morning. They also got me a glass of ice and water as I waited for my ride. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone but especially solo travelers and small friend groups as they have wonderful and welcoming gathering spaces. Both inside and outside the lobby.
Competent reception and booking system. A very relaxing evening.
It was fine. I had a very quiet room high up overlooking the pedestrian street. No noise from fans or ventilators in the room and I slept well. I stay here quite regularly.
Motel One was among top hits when I searched for highly rated motel, near old city area of Bonn and walkable distance from Bonn Hauptbahnhof. It checked all my boxes!

It was my first stay at a motel and I was extremely satisfied. The accommodation is excellent, clean, and tidy. There is a large selection of food and drinks at breakfast in an 'eat as much as you can' style. The staff is extremely friendly and cheerful, ready to help at any time of day or night. Highly recommended :)
Wow! What a hotel, what human beings working there! Also a very dog friendly hotel! With this stay, you will have a long term customer! :) Also the bar with the drinks and also the opportunity to drink some Ipanema and other drinks lately is phenomenal! It was to be honest the best hotel experience in Germany!
All is very good, except this should be done: 1. Switch for bathroom fan, not automatic. 2. Waste basket in the room itself. 3 Night table way too small, space is there! Service is excellant!!! Will you change it?
Everything was good, except the view…we expected to have a quiet room facing the backyard since we chose the special one room, but we had noisy room…

The Motel One chain has been our go to in Germany and Bonn was no exception. From the online check in through to the room, location and staff - this place ticks all the boxes and we loved our night here.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very clean, and the layout of the room was very comfortable.
WiFi was very slow and the AC was loud even in Low setting. Needed to be turned Off during the night. USB Chargers were missing. Beside that the Room and service was as usual very good.
Room was good and clean, only the breakfast was disappointing.
I stay at Motel One Bonn-Haubtbahnhof at least twice a year. Every stay is excellent and I am very pleased how friendly the staff is.

Pros: Very nice hotel with clean and well maintained rooms. Good location, public transport availability. Perfect breakfast, maybe not so rich as other hotels, however great even though. Nice and very helpful staff. Air conditioned rooms, not usual in this price level in Bonn. Web and survey in my language. Cons: Parking with limited number of places and no reservations. It would be nice to have a fridge and kettle in room. All in all, I think maybe the best choice in Bonn in this price level.
Really nice gentleman, at the reception very nice of him and his colleague to offer me and my family a free upgrade as we were staying just one night to escape the heat wave.
Very good place to stay and close to railway station. Receptionist excellent.
Plus: Excellent location. Clean. Very nice breakfast. Nice soap/shampoo. Minus: Small rooms and very small table (not convenient for work). I missed some amenities such as body lotion.
Do construction the motel was difficult to find
The only downside was the absence of any kind of laundry facility. When I suggested to one of the reception staff that the hotel invest in a self service laundry room , it was suggested I stay somewhere else next time. A 10 day stay without a laundry facility is difficult if you are working. Thankfully none of the other staff, including on reception were anything other than very helpful. But I was shocked by the rudeness of one person.
I'm just missing a mini-fridge in the room
Friendly staff. We asked for additional pillows and did not receive. We also only ate breakfast 2 times during our stay and was charged for 7 days. Also, the room was warm, and could not cool down. A coffee maker in the room would be nice. Very expensive for a week's stay and we do not get any amenities. We also paid daily for parking and many times it was full. Lots of construction in front of motel and we were not made aware of this prior to coming.
Staff was friendly. Room too hot, air conditioning didn’t properly work. Bad coffee overpriced (4.50 for a “double espresso”, scandalous, really!). Glad we didn’t stay for breakfast. Lobby was messy and awkward. Chairs dirty. You have to get a KEY to use the bathroom in the basement. I’ve never seen this before, perhaps you might invest in security if you’ve found non-guests trash your bathrooms. This was ridiculous and very inhospitable. Would definitely not recommend for the price (190 for a double room in June).
As always, Motel One war a good choice to sleep in Bonn. A goot hotel at a reasonable price. With a good breakfast served in the informal space of the lobby

It was pleasant for a short stay. Would need more amenities like a kettle and fridge for a longer stay eg the unfccc meeting.
Lovely hotel and great staff. Good breakfast and wonderful cocktails. Room was fairly large but lack of storage of you're staying more than a few days. My two disappointments were the mirrors in the bathroom did not clear steam quickly and you could not keep the plug in the wash basin.

Amazing value for price. Such a nice hotel!!! And nice staff. The only thing was the bathroom door didn’t stay open, it closed automatically so it would have been nice if it stayed open or at least to have a door stopper.
As always, everything was fine. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff at reception were friendly and efficient.

He estado ya varias veces en hoteles de la cadena Motel One y me parecen muy recomendables. Los precios son razonables, considerando la calidad que ofrecen. Las habitaciones son cómodas y agradables y me gusta el diseño. Hasta el momento las personas que me han atendido en los diferentes establecimientos que he estado, siempre han sido atentas y agradables en el trato. No puedo valorar el Lounge&Bar porque no he estado; tampoco he desayunado en el hotel, por lo que igualmente no opino sobre esto.
