Unfortunately, I didn’t fully enjoy my stay. I found the room to be quite small and pokey, very basic for the price, and in my opinion, overpriced. I was also unhappy with the location of my room. It was situated along a long hallway where people were constantly walking directly towards my door. I had actually asked to be moved before being allocated the room, but unfortunately this wasn’t accommodated. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe enough during the night that I placed something behind the door for additional security. The bathroom also had very poor ventilation and became extremely stuffy. I had to leave the bathroom door open simply to allow some air to circulate. I didn’t spend a great deal of time at the hotel as I had private engagements to attend, so I wasn’t there to make extensive use of the facilities. However, it was a very cold night, I went and asked reception regarding the heating system. They said that it’s will take awhile to get warm and then they didn’t have any portable heaters, it didn’t get warm….and I developed a cold and have not been feeling well at all since returning to London. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay, particularly considering the price I paid. I feel that the room, location and ventilation could all be improved to provide guests with a more comfortable and secure experience.

Location was very central. Hotel was clean and staff were polite. I would have been happy to see complimentary water bottle, tea and coffe in the room (with a cettle or coffee machine) as in every other hotel.

Wonderful front desk and bar service providers! I would have liked a wash cloth. I think it would be nice to provide two chairs when there are two occupants. People who do not request cleaning for their stay should have glasses, not paper cups! Despite minor complaints, I would definitely stay at your hotel again❣️
I wish there had been a wash cloth available. And.... I think there should be a discount for those of us who chose the green option of no cleaning for the stay.. but the room was clean and pleasant and the lighting was very good. Screens on the windows would be nice to avoid sharing the room with mosquitos.
Muy lindo hotel y habitaciones. Hermoso el lounge para desayunar. La zona es muy cómoda para recorrer. Como aspectos a mejorar diría que el desayuno no es muy variado, no hay demasiadas opciones que no incluyan fiambre y pan, y diría que sería bueno que actualizaran las TVs en las habitaciones, en 2026 no tener la opción de acceder a apps como Netflix o YouTube no es lo mejor, si son huéspedes holandeses o alemanes no hay problema porque pueden ver los canales tranquilamente, pero siendo hispanohablante no tenía alternativas para ver contenido, ya que solo podes conectar tu teléfono para usar Chromecast si tenes android o un cable HDMI. Remarco este punto porque en mi caso mis horarios son muy distintos a los de Países Bajos, por lo que a la noche tenía horas en la habitación después de que cerraran los locales y restaurantes, hubiera sido bueno poder acceder a Netflix en esos momentos.

Stayed at Motel One Rotterdam for just one night and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent central location with lovely roof top terrace— perfect for exploring Rotterdam. Everything was easy and convenient, and the stay was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Rotterdam. Highly recommended!
Las chicas de recepción son muy antipáticas, sin excepción. No hablaban ningún otro idioma que no fuera inglés. Les pregunté si hablaban español, aleman, holandés ó portugués y la respuesta fue ONLY ENGLISCH y siguió hablando sin importarle si entendíamos a o no. La limpieza de la habitación también fue horrible. El olor a mariguana en la recepción y en el ascensor era insoportable más cuando andas con niños. He estado en otros motel one como el de Vienna, Múnich, Graz, Bruselas, y este de Rotterdam ha sido el peor lamentablemente.
The hotel is really good, just in the centre of the town, our room was large and conformable, the bed and pillow were perfect, the bathroom very big and clean. The staff at the reception and at the lounge bar was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very rich and of high quality. A very pleasant stay.
Room was a good size clean and comfortable. The hotel was In a great location and the building was upkept and repaired well. The rooftop patio has a beautiful view over the city. There is only 2 elevators and one was out of service most of the time so the wait was a bit long , but that was pretty minor.

Yet again another great stay at the motel. We always feel welcomed and enjoy it every time we come.

If you are planning a trip to Rotterdam and are looking for a place to stay, then look no further your search is over. Motel One is where you need to be. I cannot praise it enough. Will gladly return when we next visit Rotterdam.

Hotel perfect, good value, location and beds! Reception staff unhelpful when asking for directions and general information, when directing to the local bike store they didnt know where it was, although it was within 300m. They simply said 'it's over there sonewhere', leaving us to find it ourselves. A further interaction regarding my bill was also dealt with no politeness and an air of disdain.

Buena ubicación. Muy cerca del Markthal y de las casas cubo. Algo a mejorar sería el desayuno, ya que es poco variado.
Great location, great roof terrace - I would definitely stay there again, with a couple of caveats; although the first room I was given was a good size, the windows were on the inside, so people can look in to your room from their rooms or when walking down the corridor. I asked to be moved, so ended up in a room with a view to the outside, which was good, although a smaller room. My main feedback though is about the lack of fridges in the rooms; I was there for 12 days, and it would have been very useful to have even a small fridge. My wife and family were at the Hotel Postillion, for example, and the rooms there have fridges

Room very compact. Breakfast is good but would be nice to have some hot food as well alongside the boiled eggs.

Overall good stay. I had better and I had worse. Slogthly above average maybe, given price. I expected at least something warmed up for breakfest. Eggs or anything cooked would be good offer.
A/C did not work reliable in my room....in times of summer heat outside an A/C should work in all rooms.....Breakfast was yummy....breakfast room was more a fridge due to the well-working A/C

El hotel tiene habitaciones muy chicas, esos es lo de menos por que uno le elija, lo que no elijo es que no me limpien la habitación que dejé a la mañana temprano y cuando reclame la respuesta fue ya no tenemos personal…
Estuvimos muy poco tiempo. La habitación era un poco pequeña pero estaba bien. Linda la terraza. Tendrían que aumentar las opciones de comida en el bar.
Nos dejaron hacer el cheking muy pronto lo cual se agradece mucho. Lo malo la habitación, es muy pequeña y daba a unas escaleras interiores… El desayuno súper bien de calidad y opciones variadas, pero muy caro…
La experiencia fue muy buena. Pero tuvimos un problema importante. Le dijimos al hotel que nos reservará un taxi para el aeropuerto el día anterior. Cuando llega la hora viendo que no llega les pedimos que llamen y al cabo de un rato el taxista dice que tardará una media hora....pero tampoco nos lo aseguran. Y el hotel no reaccionó y no nos dió solución. Tuvimos que buscarnos nosotros por nuestra cuenta y urgentemente la solución.
Bien ubicado, con un equipo joven y profesional. Cama cómoda. A mejorar, tamaño justo de la habitación, tamaño de la toalla de ducha que es pequeña y espacio de desayuno más pensado para la noche que para el día
La estancia ha sido muy agradable. Como punto muy positivo, había varios cojines en la cama para poder elegir y la cama cómoda. No me gusto que no se pudiera abrir ninguna ventana y que la única posibilidad de ventilación fuera el aire acondicionado. Viajé con mi madre, muy mayor y la corriente del aire acondicionado era especialmente desagradable para ella.
Muy lindo alojamiento. Excelente ubicación, destaca el diseño moderno y limpieza. El desayuno muy rico y variado. A modo de sugerencia recomiendo que las habitaciones tengan más lugar para ubicar la ropa.

Todo estuvo bien, el único detalle es que aire acondicio ado no se podía colocar por encima de los 23°C y realmente se necesitaba más temperatura para estar cómodo.

En nuestro Motel One Róterdam encontrarás un poco de más Manhattan. Ya desde el One Lounge tendrás la sensación de estar en la gran metrópoli. Cómodos sillones de terciopelo, acogedores sofás de cuero, elegantes detalles de cristal como sacados de una película de «Sexo en Nueva York». Siempre con el toque de color turquesa de Motel One. Ahora solo falta saborear un Cosmopolitan o un Manhattan en el bar panorámico. Siéntate, disfruta de tu bebida y deléitate con el espectacular paisaje de la ciudad de Róterdam. ¿Hoy prefieres ir con calma? ¡Perfecto! Túmbate con los pies en alto en tu espaciosa cama box spring, haz zapping por los programas de la TV con pantalla plana y disfruta del copioso desayuno. ¿A quién no le gusta empezar la jornada con productos ecológicos seleccionados y café de comercio justo?
