As always Motel One is great, but room was very noisy
Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast with nice chairs. Room in hotel gets too hot and this was September 18 degrees outside. So in summer it must be crazy hot. I did open the window for fresh air but busy traffic noises. When having breakfast they started to clean the coffee machine in the end without informing guests. Therefore I only was able to drink 1 coffee.

All Hotel One has same standard, means you can be sure what you receive. Anyway no suitable ventilation in bad-room, I have to take the hairdryer to see something in the mirror. And I ordered double room for 2 Person but in the room was just one blanket and also one set of towels. They are lucky that my wife was sick and finally couldn’t join. I would expec if you book for 2 Person that the room is prepared like that.
It is according to expectation of Motel one group. Anyway in the bath room is no ventialation and the door also keep not open, after shower you need take hair blower to make the mirror free. In addition I booked for 2 people but in my room only 1 blanket, one set of towels. Likely my wife was sick and didn`t join me. As I made reservation for 2 adults I would expect that the rooms are prepared like that.

When asked for a quiet room, check in guy did not accommodate. “We have insulating windows”. And gave me the preassigned a room to the street. I had to insist on a room towards the back. Not good

The stay was fine, the hotel was mostly clean except for some mold in the shower grout. The main issue was that the room was far, far too small. We had requested a child cot in our room, so they should have realized we needed more space, but we barely had room to walk around the bed.
One knows what to expect there. Rooms are clean and the staff is professional. It is a shame that "events" significantly raises the price, even to people like me who gladly book rooms in this chain. It is a far distance from 70 Euros to now over 160.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish, definitely be back when in Munich again.
I love staying here! We used to live in Munich, for many years, and when we return, we stay either here or at the one in Sendlinger Tor. You know exactly what you’re getting. Although the rooms are small, they have all you need for a city break. The bed is large and comfortable. It was lovely to sit outside and have breakfast, of which there is a vast plentiful supply and is always replenished. Staff are lovely and friendly too! Location is perfect! Everything is either within walking distance or a short tram, bus or train ride away. Highly recommend!
I did not sleep very well, the bedding was not so comfortable, specially the pillows. The bar tender was obviously a very fresh beginner who was a bit overloaded with more than 2 people at the bar. I waited for 10 minutes to be asked for my order but he "ignored me", so I walked away and went to the next bar. Not so good! Ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful, to compensate :)

Only relevant issue was that my demand of being placed with some distance to the lifts was not met. Given quite sensitive to noise, having a room close to the lifts and hearing the noise of the lift moving mechanism was quite disturbing.
Very friendly service. Room was clean. Water bottle much appreciated. The only problem I had with the room is that the bathroom sink could not be closed. This makes contact lense removal and care really difficult.

I was a bit disappointed as when I arrived I was told I was charged incorrectly and had to pay another €20 euros, I was tired and paid it but it made me feel like I was taken advantage of. Also there wasn’t a friendly welcoming atmosphere to the hotel. I also saw a homeless man get into the lift and go up to the room levels, there’s no card activated floor element in the lift like you normally get in hotels. The air con in the room didn’t work, it was very hot so I had to open the window which meant the noise from outside came in.
Indoor entertaiment didnt work correctly. The duvet was small I had to ask for a second one to cover the full bed. Second day the room was not cleaned. I was overcharged 50eur on the day of check-out and I am still trying to find out why and I am waiting for a refund.
I had a wonderful stay at München-East side. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The room was clean, modern and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious every morning. I will definitely be back when I'm in Munich next!! Thankyou for a great stay
It is clean which I appreciate however, the staff is not always well trained or helpful. I went to ask for a water bottle and apparently you have to be a member. What the gentleman didn’t tell me is that the membership is free. I spent 5€ for a bottle of water that had particles in it and tasted awful. The breakfast is less than average. For the price the holiday inn is definitely more value for money and you can have a more comfortable experience.

Rude / uncaring reception personnel. Teenager party on the hallway, knocking on all doors. My room was not prepared on check-in. The toilet brush was in the sink. There was a weird, unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
