This was my second stay at this Motel One, each time as I was attending Munich Opera. The location is great as public transportation is available in front of the Motel going directly to and from the Opera House. - I arrived early at around 12.30 p.m., and unfortunately experienced the receptionist dismissive. I had only referred to my reservation, when she immediately advised me that check-in was only guaranteed after 3 p.m., that no rooms where available yet and that I could only leave my baggage in storage but should please step aside and pack my suit into my suitcase and then return to reception. I fully understand that such information was accurate. Nevertheless, I felt not so much as a welcomed guest but rather disturbing in her current assignment. In particular, it did not resolve any of my issues (which I could not even tell her after such "clear instruction"), namely changing for the opera in before 3 p.m. and being able to attend the event in the late afternoon. - I decided to change at a friend's appartement a few blocks away and return at 3 p.m. to check-in. At such time, a different receptionist was at the front desk and what very friendly.
Everything nice except a missing fridge and no television for three days. Sockets with a USB charging option would be an improvement. In the bathroom. I was surprised not to have a drain stop just for good looks of the tub.
I was at Motel One East Side from 25June to 28June, single room. The young man who answered my phone call before arriving, I believe was the same one at the desk when I checked in. He was extremely courteous and helpful during my time there! (sorry did not get his name.) (I was on the 3rd floor where all T.V. connections was broken for two of the four days that I was there!!! I took the room in order to watch Fifa Fussball in a cooler place because I am older, I was sick from the high temperatures! This same man, after speaking with his supervisor, informed me that I will be given 50€ credit for my last day there.) *The other young man who I spoke with before checking out on Monday 29June26 was also very courteous! ***Overall, I have always enjoyed being at Motel One locations. The friendly professionalism, caring attitude, and patience of the staff at Motel One locations have always been exception. I do understand that the T.V. problem was handled to the best of your ability. Thank you for your services. Katie Brock

I'm a regular client by Motel One but this time a bit disappointed: - incorrect invoice, this can happen, but I still have no feedback from the hotel 1 week after my complaint - staff at the bar not available (or not interested?), I had a drink in the neighboring hotel

It’s generally ok. However, the be cover is really small and there are no basic appliances like pads for make-up removal. The TV didn’t work, but it’s not a big deal.
Please let me describe the shortcomings briefly. During check-in the receptionist wasn’t very polite and also not competent enough to answer our questions regarding the billing. Overall friendliness can be improved. The breakfast was OK but not for the price, since there were few and rather cheap options (convenience food) at the buffet including only self service. Except for a limited selection of fruits and cooked eggs there was no fresh option. Orange jiuce at the dispenser wasn’t refilled etc. I will never again book breakfast in such a hotel.

There were some hairs on the duvet, which honestly made me a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was also not very clean. Apart from that, I was satisfied with my stay.
I had booked a room for two guests; however, upon arrival, the room was prepared for only one person. As there was no intercom or in-room phone available, I had to personally go to reception and carry the additional items required for the second guest myself. This was inconvenient and not in line with expected service standards. Additionally, the experience the following morning was particularly concerning. While I was planning to check out after 11:00 AM, the housekeeping staff knocked on the door multiple times to check whether we had vacated the room. On the first occasion, the staff member used a master key and opened the door without permission. This was a serious breach of privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable. I hope you understand that both the lack of preparedness and the intrusion significantly impacted our stay. I would appreciate it if you could look into these issues and ensure better service and respect for guest privacy in the future. I look forward to your response.
I only stayed for one night, so no mid-term experience based feedback possible. But, what I could take with me was a very good experience (not mentioning the minor check-in delay). Here are some bullet points regarding what is going through my mind now... - very professional service - very polite and customer service oriented reception staff - clean hotel room; sufficient size of room and bed; silent night without any audible noise outside (guess I was lucky to get the courtyard side ;-) ) - missed a garbage bag in the bathroom waste bin (if this is supposed to be used) - very good breakfast (even without scrambled eggs ;-) )
The check-in was very slow, the shower was cold in the morning and the breakfast was not variable.
pros: Rooms was clean and the lobby bar is very nice. People at the reception were always helpful and friendly. cons: there is no place to leave your toiletries in the shower cabin except a small placeholder enough only for one soap. This makes showering very inconvenient. It is mildly annoying that the tv turns on every time you put in the card. Breakfast was less than satisfactory. Scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and other cooked food should be standard for something that costs 18 euros.
It would be great that the staff at reception offers you information about the city, touristic sites , transportation.
Small, but comfortable room and very quiet. Parking garage is convenient and fairly priced. Public transport to the city center is just in front of the entrance. We have stayed here in the past and will do so again in the future.

As a Motel One fan who stayed always and recommend to everyone, I am really dissapointed at this stay for Expo Real with my colleageu and visitor investor as our guest. The reason is the heating system was not working for 2 nights and we are not informed for this issue before. The staff is not well informed about this issue and we did not even heard an apologise for this. I am really sorry about this stay as there are 2 people who stayed becaouse of me and we paid 400 EUR per night for a cold room without any compensation.

They are price based(think cheap)hotel. We were there for 4 nights and our room was terribly hot. They were going to "fix it" to no avail. Finally had someone on the night shift(two days in ) explain that they had the hotels AC system turned off. I am deleting my account. Never going back.

I appreciate that my request for a quiet room was given. The room was indeed quiet, also clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Internet working fine. And staff at the lobby and bar were friendly. The snacks (toast) serve at the bar are yummy.
Hello , comparing my stay to east side with Deuche museum, I feel more comfortable in Deuche museum Motel one.
I had as always an enjoyable stay at Motel one Everyone was friendly and helpful,the rooms were immaculate ,clean and comfortable The only thing was not enough space at breakfast and also ,a kettle and tea making facilities would be a great addition to the rooms
Potential for improvement: - When I met with colleagues in the lounge, we were not allowed to eat homemade banana bread that someone had baked for the group. We were asked to leave the lounge to eat it. - I didn't like that the TV in the hotel room automatically turned on to a regular stressful program. At another Motel One hotel, an aquarium video with relaxing music starts instead, which I thought was so beautiful. I missed that.
I like the atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms are small, simple, clean. Completely adequate. The beds were suitable and my wife and I both liked that there was a firm pillow for each of us. We do not like the type of shower they provide. It had an open side and the floor always gets soaked in these types of bathrooms. I will use Motel One again.

Room is clean but it is very basic. Only a paper cup. Not even a bottle of water. I heard that you can request for a bottle of water at reception but why don’t they offer it when you checked in? Near train station.
Solid hygiene, minimalistic, adequately sized rooms, staff are friendly. All the basics are covered. Breakfast lacks some variety for the price, but overall decent, though the hard boiled eggs were very undercooked with no way of fixing that after speaking to kitchen staff. Technologically speaking, other hotels in the same price range allow streaming personal media to the TV via AirPlay or an HDMI cable. Still, definitely a trustworthy hotel chain, in my experience.

The location was great. The room was a bit small but for the price point probably ok. There was, however, not much space for storage such that with two suitcases in the room it would have been very difficult to move around.
We had a small, but perfectly adequate room with a large bed. Very clean and quiet. The price for the room, as well as for parking was very reasonable. Very good connection into the city center but the neighborhood near the hotel was also very nice. We would come again.

The receptionist greeted me very nicely. Since it wasn't crowded when I arrived, we had a pleasant little chat. The room itself was exactly what I've come to expect from Motel One. While I've always considered their breakfast to be top-notch, it feels like there's recently been some room for improvement. One thing I noticed was that my room door didn't have an automatic closer, so I almost left it wide open when I headed out for breakfast.
The hotel is well located, a short walk from Munich East railway station. The room is a good size, impeccably clean, with a comfy bed and good bathroom. The breakfast is also reasonably good. Overall, great value-for-money.

Si el horario del desayuno es hasta las 11h los sábados y domingos debe mantenerse toda la comida hasta las 11. A las 10.15h ya no quedaba ensalada de frutas y no la repusieron. ni siquiera cuando se preguntó por ello. El entertainment de la television no funcionaba y no me dieron solución. El año pasado me dieron agua en la habitación y este año no. Para mi gusto es un hotel caro para los servicios que ofrece.

El Motel One Múnich-East Side, al que puedes llegar fácilmente desde la estación del este, ofrece un entorno sin igual gracias a su diseño interior, que combina elementos tradicionales y modernos. Nuestro hotel en Múnich se encuentra en una zona histórica y especialmente bonita de la ciudad, ya que, con sus 1200 años, Haidhausen es incluso más antiguo que la propia Múnich.
