Everyone I had contact with at the hotel was super kind and helpful. The room was spotless so even the invisible cleaners were excellent. The location is good. However, I was little disappointed in the room size especially considering the price paid.
Excellent value for money.
Great room rates and location. However, room wasnt as clean as we found them during other stays. Pillows can use renewing.
Nice hotel with Good location a little Away from the «noise» in the city. Nice garden! Bar and staff is great! Room is small, but ok. Bathroom a little humid.
Super located hotel. Friendly staff and a great breakfast.
Hello, I was surprised - the reception was very cold due to the fact that there were new people at he reception and I hadn´t come more often. Jenny from Equador and Paul from UK later on that day were fantastic! 10 points and more to each one of them!!!. The new people have to learn to become more friendly. The morning crew is way off. I was shocked about my room service. First day - I didn´t receive any room service... I had to go and change towels next morning. No one was on my floor at 10:00am. I had to go down to the 9th.. honestly... this is not really good! The colleague asked me why I was there and not on 10th. Anyway - please change - the attitude of the cleaners on the floors are not good. This is my personal feeling, as I always felt like coming home... and it is losing that kind of magic...
This was second time we stayed at Motel One, once again really pleased about our stay. Staff were lovely and rooms were comfortable and clean! Will come back again if we are visiting Munich.
as each time for more than a decade it is a pleasure to stay with you guys. thanks for the attention and work
very nice and polite staff
Friendly staff. Good location. OK breakfast.
Loved the location , the friendly staff and the modern facilities.
The reception desk staff, all of them, were amazingly friendly and very helpful. Nice touch to have a lemon-mint water jar in the lobby, especially in the current weather situation.
Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff. Small minus for not refilling toilet paper and during breakfast some items running out.
Hotel is in a comfortable walking distance from city center as well as Rosenthal Platz station. The room is small, but clean, yet lacks a place where you could leave your clothes comfortably as well as a fridge. Breakfast selection was scarce - they only offer boiled eggs and sandwich material as well as muelsi/cereal, lacking hefty options. When we first arrived, no one welcomed us - both receptionists were busy with admin work, did not acknowledge us. Daily cleaning was also lacking.
Great position and quite area
Solid experience as usual
Nice friendly welcome, thank you. Quiet room on high floor, as requested, thank you again.
Smooth check-/-out procedure, simple&easy. Management of e-car loading parking spots is absent: out of 8 spots, 7 were occupied without loading process (despite other spots being available), communication with reception waa confusing, billing of parking ended up wrong (but reimbursement made after several contacts)!
300eur for a room that small, with no fridge or even a modest wardrobe is simply criminal.
I love the Concept of the Motel One but to be honest it was way too expensive this time. I've been there in November 2025 where 2 nights were about half the price of these 2 nights I've spend this time. 500€ for 2 nights with the 10% discount from being a beOne member included is too much. But overall it was still a great experience and I will definetly come back to Motel One the next time I'm visiting Munich!
super
Great location, very clean. For the breakfast price tag, I thought it was missing choices, no scrambled eggs or bacon, for example? The bathroom was quite small as well...the rest is great,
Very nice hotel. Good location for restaurants and trains. Parking a bit difficult to find entry due to roadworks. Would expect to have had one bottle of water per person not per room
Neither the air conditioning nor the exhaust fan in the bathroom worked. The doors slammed shut extremely loudly, and the walls were so thin that you could hear the neighbors drawing their curtains. The slamming of the doors was so loud that it woke me up several times. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the price was worth the quality. This was one of my least impressive Motel One experiences so far.
Very quiet, clean and convenient. Good value- would stay again.
The room was very small, so much so that it is difficult to open two large suit cases. The bath room is very small. The beds are just ok, one side of the bed was worn down. The breakfast buffet was nice, however there was some confusion around how much we need to pay, because of our children. The staff was friendly and courteous, happy to assist with any special requests .
The hotel is very conveniently located close to the city center. There is parking available both outside (with a limited number of spaces) and in an underground garage. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’d especially like to mention the gentleman at the reception desk on June 7 around noon (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name). He was exceptionally kind and welcoming.
Everything was great, except for the bed. The mattress (R640) was probably broken, left and right, as well as head and feet zones had all extremely different softness - hardness levels.
Great hotel, I wish they were in the US. A+ PROS: - Very clean - Very quiet - Excellent location, very nice neighborhood - Very friendly and helpful staff - Tasteful contemporary aesthetic design in lobby and lounge - Fantastic outdoor lounge - Excellent price, very good value CONS: - Smoking in outdoor lounge is too large and should be more isolated - Wifi is unsecured and should be secured.
Overall very happy with the room. The only complaint is that the extractor fan in the bathroom is incredibly week. Once you have a short shower, the mirror and walls are coating in condensation. I did mention this to reception on the second day and they said they'd take a look, but nothing was done.
I really liked the hotel - this was my first stay in the chain and I was positively surprised! Definitely will visit more other hotels of this brand across Europe.
No issues at all
The room was an excellent value. We valued the lack of noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. Very quiet. The hotel location was convenient to the S Bshn station with service to the airport, walking to the historic center and adjacent to the pleasant neighborhood of Haidhausen with many cafes, shops and restaurants. We were able to order coffee only at the restaurant in the morning as we did not want a full breakfast.
Overall good location, courteous and helpful staff - particularly the bar staff and receptionists. The hotel was clean and we especially liked having water available in the lobby - nice touch. Rooms are a little on the small size and may be an issue for a plus sized person.
It was ok but to be honest for a price of 129 Euros per night I expect a bit more. Getting the invoice took ages, the lobby was fairly dirty and no one took care of it, it was quite noisy because of someone watching the telly next door. It was not bad but the value for price relation wasn't good. everyone tried their best (no one was unfriendly) however the overall experience was very average.
Friendly, very clean,great bed
Really nice hotel, just the right balance between confort and simplicity. The surroundings were quiet and the view stunning. Staff impeccable too.
I am not satisfied with the housekeeping service. One day, I left my pyjamas on my bed; when I returned to the room, the bed had been made, but half of my pyjamas were in my open suitcase and the other half were on the floor. It seems they were thrown there quite thoughtlessly. Furthermore, a bottle of cleaning chemical had been forgotten near our sink, and the room was very dusty. Regarding the facilities, I felt the room was not large enough and the lack of a fridge was a drawback. On a positive note, the breakfast was quite satisfactory.
The entire staff in the service area is so amazing! That is why I always come back! A big shout out to Vesna for amazing service and hospitality!
Great location, nice staff, uncomplicated processes
Great location. As usual amazing breakfast
Clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Great hotel Great position Check in vary Easy and so check out Be carefull to the lift that doesn't have security sistema while you are getting in and out
Clean, quiet, lovely view and friendly and helpful staff.
Although the room and the shower were a little on small side - everything else was wonderful. Breakfast was impressive. Parking great with elevator straight to the level where our room was. Centrally located by the Deutsches Museum - most everything was in walking distance.
Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean rooms and hotel. Breakfast had something for everyone. Good breakfast!
We were not happy with the ventilation or the room or bathroom. Elena in reception moved us to a bigger room that we were able to open the windows to allow air into the room. We were very happy with this and Elena's friendliness and helpfulness. She made the stay the best possible. Ventilation systems should be upgraded to air conditioning.
Extraordinary staff at check-in an bar; very comfortable kingside bed; very neat and clean; affordable parking, but could use better sign-posting; housekeeping enters room despite „Do not disturb“ sign at the door and without adequate notice
Lovely atmosphere and great service Anna Lee in bar a very accommodating and amazing member of staff
Everything was Perfect. But the room was too small.
