Decent business hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms
To load my e-vehicle, internet connectivity is needed. With my t-mobile phone I had no chance to get connectivity so a motel one wifi would be really helpful
Maybe having some sandwiches, burgers, or HotDogs could be better than snacks for lunch and dinner (considering the lack of kitchen)

Super Service
Fix your lock system.
The room was just to warm, because of the heating system. There was no possibility to drill down the temprature or turn it off completely. With open window it was to loud as it is located next to big street. The recepteinoist was telling that heating is still on and they cannot do anything about it. Unfortunately we could not sleep well accordingly.

I booked this hotel without checking its exact location, used to have Motel One hotels located either centrally, or with excellent connections, or both. This one is located in an unattractive, badly connected location.

Everything was just as it should be. Clean, comfortable and warm. The staff at reception were super friendly and helpful.
Great overall and just right for a business trip. Room for improvement: - Could do with tea/coffee making facility in the room. - Dedicated drinking water fountain on every floor - Plastic bottle recycling/refund point on site that can be refunded as vouchers for the bar ?
Overall a very nice stay. Clean room, friendly personnel, quiet. The only minor minus points were: 1)temperature in room was very high 2)wifi was slow 3) the doorclosers are very tough causing slamming doors
Amazing staff who surpassed all of my expectations. The only issue I had was how the door to the stairway would slam shut and vibrate through my room which was across the hall.
Friendly staff on reception. Breakfast staff seem stressed and dont look as if they enjoy their job. Room is small but OK. We were in the old part of the building and the carpet was not the best but acceptable. The bathroom does not have proper ventilation, the mirrors steam up and when you shower however careful you are, the bathroom floor is full with water. Garage is very tight. But we have been here 4 times now and will come back. Location is convenient for us.

Best Hotel and best staff in town !!!
The Lounge is nice and the room was rather clean. The reception staff is extremely unfriendly, especially one of the ladies. The rooms lack any kind of soundproofing. I was hear the guy snoring in the next room.

We enjoyed our visit at Motel One nice atmosphear in general. Clean and cosy Rooms. Maybe missing a telephone if asking for help in the reception. Also missing a kettle for making a cup of the or coffee in the room. The staff were super friendly and helpfull. At the breakfast they came with drawing tools for our kids. Very Nice Everything seem to be of good quality: the breakfast buffet were good and we also had a Nice glas of winevine from the bar. A minus for us was the location of the hotel. Getting there by public transport was not that suitable for us. There were only the bus. Also the area around was not nice, large roads and farfrom restaurants or planes like that. Not so convidient for us.
Very quiet rooms and high standard of cleaning. The food options at the bar are limited. There is limited choice of (fast) food. More food on the menu would be great.
For what we wanted to do, it was very good. We could park, have a good sleep and shower for couple days, visiting friends.

A simple electric kettle with tea bags and coffee would do all the difference. Don’t know why you don’t have one, every other hotel has one and it’s so cheap to buy one these days. Since it’s mostly business hotel an iron would be nice, many of my colleagues use motel one for business travels and need to iron shirts, etc. A general bin near the desk would also be useful. About the breakfast, scrambled eggs were missing. I think it’s a basic in many breakfasts around the world.

As an American staying in a European hotel I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was happy to find that the staff was excellent and spoke English. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel was in a perfect location for me. I loved my stay here!

I would be nice to have water heating machine in the room so you can make a cup of coffee or tea. Location of the hotel is very good - and it has quiet rooms Breakfast is good

My stay began with a warm welcome from your reception staff :) My room was spotlessly clean, had an attractive design and a comfortable bed. Nice lighting features, nice pillows. Breakfast was good enough. Some hot food options would've made it extra special.
We stay at Motelone almost every year and it’s always a great experience. Quiet room, friendly staff, great breakfast.
Motel One is never disappointing us and the branch in Hamburg-Altona is no exception to this. It has all amenities that we're used to and parking on-premise - you need to pay extra for parking but there's plenty space and very convenient.
Comfortable rooms and great breakfast
Room was ok. I have been a couple of weeks before in the Motel One in Innsbruck, that was a bit nicer. So I'm probably giving 7 points because Innsbruck was at least 9 with large windows, better noise isolation and the views.
- would have needed more room to put toiletries in the bathroom - a wardrobe with doors to hide away suitcases would have been better - breakfast very overpriced for minimal choice (no matter how good the quality) - tea and coffee locked away after breakfast + super clean room and lounge area + lovely staff, helpful, so, so friendly! + bus stop to get to Bhf. Altona / S Holstenstraße pretty much right outside the door + very comfortable beds + great atmosphere, relaxed and warm
Very good hotel clean and confortable
Very friendly staff. That the rooms are small is fine. That is reflected in the price. The beds are hard as a rock. Considering the price is quite high since he standard is basic I think asking such a high price for the breakfast in addition to the room price is unreasonable.
No warm breakfast option, e,g sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Juice is also poor quality.

Always a reliable standard of quality. While the rooms are small, the beds are excellent and the breakfasts are great.
Parking was a bit expensive.
Really good! I enjoyed my stay. My bathroom was a little cold, but apart from that everything was just perfect. The service was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous. A lot of choice. Especially the bread is so good.
The rooms are fine, but the rooms on the very busy road side are too noisy and the acoustic isolation should be improved. I asked for changing my room to one on the back side of the building and it was much better, but I've been given room and then a second one where there were people inside sleeping ! The system had some issues I guess. This was a bit crazy. By the way, next time I won't stay at your hotel unless I'm given a room on he back of the building. One more thing, my company as an agreement, so that get a free of charge bottle of water for the first night. I think you can do a bit better there... like one per night.

Have stayed in Motel One is several locations, personally love Motel One, however this stay was a bit disappointing because the bathroom shower from the drain
