We were there for the first time. We would book the Motel One, for example in Amsterdam, again anytime. Cleanliness, friendliness, and modern facilities as well as the very comfortable bed convinced us. Especially the greeting at breakfast was extraordinarily friendly and conveyed a feeling of being welcome.

In the comfortable lounge of our Motel One Hamburg-Airport, propeller-shaped partition walls made from solid walnut and themed metal prints recount the history of air travel. Lamps by Tom Dixon illuminate the sky above the bar; their sweeping shapes are reminiscent of aircraft from the pioneering age of aviation. A natural stone wall covered in clocks tells you the time in Sydney, London and New York and emphasises the role of Hamburg as a significant commercial metropolis.
