Booked a last minute room, price was good for city centre location. Reception staff were friendly on check in/out, room was clean and comfortable
Good for the money nice place
Great location, smooth check in and check out. Quiet. Air con. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast self-serving area is far too small for the size of hotel and number of guests. It was always overcrowded. A cooked breakfast option would be good.
Great team, warm welcome and great value rooms
This hotel is in a great location in Manchester city center, as well it's clean, modern and effortlessly gives you everything you need for a successful visit.
Loved almost everything about the hotel, but felt the breakfast could have included more variety.
Friendly staff. Lovely modern but cosy interior. Very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Fast check in, lovely room. As always, every staff member was smiley and polite.
Great location, really stylish hotel, good size room/bathroom/shower and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful too.
We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly. Great atmosphere and location. We will be definitely going back . So clean too . Improvement on the breakfast. Was expecting a hot breakfast. Please include a hot breakfast.
Absolutely amazing accommodation from the sticks to stir your coffee to an amazing shower 🚿 head all boxes were ticked ✅
Room was clean and comfortable but zero mobile signal. Breaksfast provided limited options - e.g. no juice or cooked/hot food.
Friendly Team!!!
Clean and tidy, does the job. No frills, breakfast is basic but coffee okay. No Draft beer
Fantastic location, excellent staff, room comfortable and functional, bar area and staff amazing!
Staff super friendly, room and services all great. I had a blocked sink on arrival and workman fixed morning after. Overall a great place to stay and excellent value for money.
The air condition should be able to run all the time. It shut off after 2 hours, and I had to turn it on by myself. Not very good during the night, do I did not sleep well. Asked about this in reception, but did not get any help. Waited for maintenance to help, but nobody came.
The hotel and room were excellent. The location was great, and the lady on reception, Maria, gave great service - she was very friendly, gave us a great room, and extended our check out time, as we were in Manchester to celebrate my partner’s birthday.
Great location, staff helpful & welcoming and room spotless
First time at Motel One, enjoyed our stay , fab hotel Bar staff when we stayed were brilliant especially with the World Cup banter, 10/10
Enjoyed the service staff friendly and always ready to help well done
The reception staff was outstanding
We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely clean room, comfy bed, amazing double glazing that was practically sound proof. We had a small issue with a noisy neighbour, but it was delt with very quickly. I loved being able to control the temperature of our room, especially as we stayed during a heatwave. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Motel one is always my preference when I visit cities. A quality hotel for a competitive price and in Manchester, when we visit the Bridgewater Hall it's so handy! As a one member I like the free water and reduced rates. I especially like the fact we have been put in the corner room ie 350/ 450 as more spacious and quiet. We chose to have breakfast in the morning as not overpriced and fresh quality food. And staff very attentive and refreshed food regularly. Bar staff friendly and complimented me on my outfit that made me feel good. Overall the Motelone ethos is high standards and good staff training that is the norm not just a one off. Look forward to my return in November ( if not before!) I book through the app so think this may be useful to add to booking question.
The air conditioning always switch off itself...that's no good when we are sleeping, all sweat.
Having worked in restaurants, bars and hotels myself, at a managerial level, I am always impressed by staff who work very hard and provide good service. This is the case with the guys who work here. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The guy on the bar was a little short tempereded with me at first, and then became friendly. I did not enjoy this welcome. He was working very hard and he was very focused on his tasks, but I did feel a bit his initial greeting was slightly rude. I completely understand his position (I have been in it myself many times) it's low pay and long hours and he has to deal with a lot of irritating people. But I would recommend a little more refinement in his demeanor. I didn't enjoy feeling unwelcome. Other than that, I would stay here again. It's a good place.
Efficient check-in, clean and functional room, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, easy check-out and safe luggage store
Great welcome, great faculties, lovely clean bathroom with powerful shower. Quiet at night with amazing aircon when it was 30degrees outside!
We absolutely love this hotel. Great location, Amazing staff. Especially Marie on reception. She is fantastic. We are regular guests here. And she always gives us the most warmest welcome. It's always clean. The beds are so comfortable. The showers are fabulous.
Very nice bar and lounge. Unfortunately no English breakfast and no daily supplement of toilet paper.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Brilliant.
Big fan of MotelOne and a big fan of St. Peter's Square hotel. As before everything was great, will be staying again.
I had the best experience in Motel One Manchester St Peter Square. The room was spotless, food was great, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Cant wait to visit again nextime!
Nice hotel helpful staff well situated
I appreciated the 12 noon checkout and the friendly and accommodating staff at the hotel. I think Motel One as a hotel company is a great product and brand - I stay a lot in Manchester for work and I would like to know whether a more longer term booking arrangement - booking in advance - could result in better rate per night? I also think you need to sort out your website - it is predominately in German - and I'm sure you will be missing out on booking because of it. I work with a lot of web design agencies who I know could make your website much more effective for you and happy to help you if you would like to connect me with someone in the co. who is in responsible for managing this side of your business. The rooms were nice and clean, very comfortable bed and pillows with friendly staff.
We have stayed a few times and it's always a nice experience.Would like to say a big thank you to Ryan on your reception. He went out of his way to print off our gig tickets,as I had forgotten to do them at home.So I hope be will be recognised as a valued member of your hotel as our night would have been ruined.
Overall a very nice hotel. Staff are really friendly, the whole hotel is very clean and the price was really reasonable. The lack of cooked breakfast would have been disappointing if I wasn't dieting for my summer holiday, but other than that, very good.
Hotel with nice and cosy lobby and bar. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. I got a room that for some reason was very smelly. Within 20 minutes I got another one which was perfectly fine. Very helpful and understanding staff members. Perfect location in the centre of Manchester.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful
Comfortable, clean room. Prompt check-in. Friendly, professional team.
We had a fantastic stay at Motel One St Peter's Square. The location couldn't be better – walkable from Piccadilly or just a short tram hop. Trams and buses are right on the doorstep, making it so easy to get around Manchester. The reception team were genuinely friendly and welcoming, always happy to have a chat and offer advice. Our room was spotless, stylish, and the air conditioning was brilliant during the hot weather. The bed deserves a special mention – it was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, with the perfect mattress and pillows. Brought over from Germany when enquired. The continental breakfast had a great selection of fresh fruit, meats and happy little eggs. My only tiny suggestion would be to add a few pretzels to fit the German brand. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Highly recommended!
Clean, Central and Cozy Motel in the heart of Manchester, worth it.
Clean and comfortable room and facilities. The staff were superb and very helpful.
Excellent location for Concert venue, we arrived veryearly due to early flight, Room available straightaway! Young lady on reception was very pleasant and informative of directions for going and coming from concert venue, Co-Op Live, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, young blonde haired lady! Thanks so much and thanks to young man at the bar, again, very pleasant and chatty! Will definitely recommend! 👍
Freindly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortablr room and a standard 12 Oclock checkout.
Clean Quiet and excellent location
Staff were friendly and rooms cleaned to a high standard. Experience was dampened by 3 fire alarms occurring over 3 days - one at 00:20 in the morning with no clear guidance from staff. Wouldn’t be an issue if it hadn’t happed twice over the previous 2 days. There was clearly an issue with the alarms. Also blue lights on the outside of the building make the rooms very bright throughout the night, even with curtains shut. Overall a comfortable stay though.
I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The rooms are basic but the beds are comfortable with a good shower & TV etc. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is a good bar with comfortable chairs and a TV on the ground floor.
Great location, comfortable and clean room with ac, staff both at reception and the lovely bar were great!
