Everyone was really helpful. Very friendly and nothing was too much bother. The reception staff and Robert the janitor were great. Shout out to the Barman on Sunday night (sorry forgot to ask his name) was brilliant. His recommendations for gin was superb!!
Excellent stay again- such a quiet hotel for a city centre location (because it’s on St Peter’s Square). Appreciate that the cups in the room have been significantly upgraded from the flimsy/dangerous paper ones to bigger, sturdy plastic ones. Would still prefer proper ceramic mugs, though. Would prefer jugs of real fruit juice for breakfast instead of the horrible machine-mix concentrates, which taste a bit like horribly sweet cough medicine. Even basic cartons of supermarket long-life juice would be a massive step up from what’s on offer, juice-wise. Fabulous pastries - real-deal croissants & absolutely gorgeous fresh fruit salad.

Very nice hotel, great location in the middle of town but still pretty quiet. Staff very friendly, especially the lady who cares for the breakfast buffet. Liked also a lot that the had a in-room safe, reusable cups in the room and more option to store and hang clothes. The lobby was spacious but too dark. A bit lighter couours would fresh up

Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptional. From front desk to housekeeping to bar tenders— everyone was friendly, accommodating, and solutions oriented. You have hired some fantastic people and clearly provided quality customer service trainings. Please extend our thanks to them! Also loved the central and safety of the location.

Great location, really comfortable room, slept amazingly, luxurious shower Really cool view and windows blocked all outside sound when shut. Check in and out was really easy. 2 tiny negatives, only 1 bin for room and bathroom and the bamboo cups in the rooms are reusable but have no lids to screw on and they are really stained. Overall, loved our stay and will be back
This was around the 10th time that I have stayed at this hotel, it's in an excellent location and in the main is a clean well kept hotel with friendly staff. However, I can only score it a 7 out of 10 on this occasion due to the sheet on the bed having a stain on it, we only noticed it late at night so didn't report it until the next morning. The lady on reception said that she was very sorry and would report it to house keeping. However, this won't stop us trying the hotel again in the future, these things happen so hopefully its just a one-off.

A prime location in the centre and all the facilities you need and the only hotel we have stayed in with soft pillows and a comfy mattress and a shower that we can work and also very friendly staff
Welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful hotel very clean. Location perfect with tram outside very quiet. Room slightly small but everything in there. Highly recommend will be visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay and was able to check in early which made our day! it ment we could freshen up and head out early 👌🏼 The bed was so comfy, staff on point and so helpful and kind. Loved the midday check-out ❣️ The only nit pick I’d have, is the room is quite small! But overall a fab experience with motel one 👌🏼 thank you.
Perfectly nice hotel, rooms felt clean, good value for money. Room a little on small side but for what you say it’s great and moody staff a little but enjoyed later noon check out as well

Good location, clean and comfortable. For the price, it is weird to first put out plastic cups for ‘sustainability’ then for the next days put out paper non-reusable cups with wooden stirrers to make tea and coffee in the room. This is very low standard and at a budget hotel level. No tap beer in the bar which is strange also.

Reception staff very friendly, room clean and quiet. Location great. Bed comfy. Didn’t like not having ceramic cups in the room & it wasn’t clear that the breakfast was just continental on booking, it was very pricey for what was on offer & the seating was a big awkward to eat breakfast from, would of preferred tables & chairs rather than lounge seating.
Greta’s location, very clean and very quiet considering the central location. Only issues were no phone signal whatsoever in our room (two different networks) which didn’t bother us but might some people - and the TV picture was of very low quality quality despite being an LG.
Love the hotel from its friendly check in, nice bar area and great location. We got a nice quiet accessible room on 1st floor because we were travelling with our dog.

Motel One is great value and St Peter's Square is a great location. We visited the Bridgewater Hall, and walked into town very easily. Staff were friendly and helpful and lounge areas are the usual comfy and quirky style. Only thing to mention, it's great that we can leave our bags but at booking out but there was only one staff member who tried to do it all but to save people waiting we were encouraged to get our own bags. But doesn't put me off already booking for return journey in December!
Very helpful staff on reception, clean room and great comfortable bar area. Also perfectly located for the tram, so easy access to the Co-op events. Would stay again.
Great central location
Negativní pro mne byla zkušenost s e-mailovými odpověďmi na moje rezervace přes systém BeOne. Ty byly uživatelsky zcela mimo. Působily dojmem e-mailů od AI. Také stuktura Vaší vlastní mobilní aplikace je málo uživatelsky vstřícná. Nakonec jsem zvolila dražší zabookování přes Booking. com. Dobrou zkušenost jsem udělala s personálem hotelu, od dam a pánů na recepci (Maria i další), přes barmana v lounge, až po dámy, které uklízely pokoje.
Byli jsme moc spokojeni. Pěkné a čisté, velmi ochotný personál, skvělá dostupnost.
