Fantastic location....just 2 minutes walk from Picadilly Station. Amazing staff,,,especially at reception. They were informative and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, plenty of towels and air conditioning. Strong wifi with no connection problems. One small point, a mini fridge would have been useful to keep water chilled. Overall, great value for money.... would highly recommend.
I stayed at Motel One St Peter’s Square, Manchester, from Saturday 4 July to Sunday 5 July. During the night of Saturday 4 July / early hours of Sunday 5 July, at approximately 12:30am–1:10am, the fire alarm sounded and guests were required to evacuate their rooms and gather in reception. We remained there for approximately 30–40 minutes without receiving any clear information regarding the situation or whether there was an ongoing safety risk. I was staying in room 323 on floor 3, and during the evacuation I had to leave my son in the lobby in order to assist an elderly guest who was visibly distressed and confused. When I spoke with the reception team the following morning, I was informed that this issue has been occurring regularly from a particular apartment and that it would be escalated to the general manager. This raises serious concerns about recurring alarms and the potential impact on guest safety. My 12-year-old son was due to compete the following morning, Sunday 5 July at 9:00am, for a place on an England basketball pathway programme—an opportunity he has been working towards for over a year. Due to the alarm, the uncertainty, and the disruption, he was unable to settle back to sleep for several hours. As a result, he attended the competition exhausted and unfortunately did not succeed. While I appreciate that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the outcome itself, the incident had a significant and avoidable impact on his preparation for an important opportunity. In light of the disruption, lack of communication, loss of sleep, and the overall impact on our stay, I would respectfully request a refund for our stay or, alternatively, a complimentary future night as a gesture of goodwill. Service great, facilities worked well, bar drinks were well made. Mattress was a little broken.

Location is convenient, staff were friendly. Room was small but comfortable. Minor point - pegs on the bathroom door do not have hooks so are not fit for purpose - would like to be able to hang used towels but they fall off

Staff were super helpful and friendly, especially Fatima on Reception. Rooms had everything you needed. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was great too. Overall an excellent stay at this hotel.

Great Counter Staff and clean and well presented rooms
Very clean and comfortable hotel in an excellent area for visiting the city. The area outside the hotel is busy but inside the hotel you would not know, its so quiet. From the minute you stepped through the door the staff made you feel very welcome and provided me with info on what to visit and how to get there, recommendations on where to eat as well, thank you for that.. I had a problem with the temperature control on the air con twice and it was fixed within minutes by the professional and very friendly staff.

Overall good, but bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been, and the showerhead wasn't working quite right.
Great value for the stay. Room was very clean including the rest of the hotel. It was in great location, close to the train station, theatre and shops. Only downside was the pillows. They were either rock solid or super soft like cotton wool.
Clean, fresh, small fridge would of been handy. Will definitely use again.
All very good , my only complaint was paper cups in the room for tea / coffee was disappointing

One of my favourite hotel (chains) to stay at. Check in times are always so flexible and accommodating when possible. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious.

This hotel is really well located by Piccadilly Train Station and Manchester City centre. The staff are really helpful and it is excellent value for money.
The lighting in the room was working, but overall the room seemed quite dark even though it had large windows. A table lamp on the desk would be a useful addition.
Clean modern premises. Room spacious, comfortable bed, fluffy white towels. Friendly helpful staff. Would have given a 10 but no waste bin in room and had to ask for bottle of water We didn’t use lounge/bar facilities thus difficult to score out of 10
Reasonable price, you get what you pay for. The beds were good. Good location, close to everything. Nice staff. Downside is I would like a small fridge in the room, and also a second thrash can.

Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was a big let down though.
Rooms were incredibly basic and tired. Carpet is dingy. Sofa bed is like a brick. Woodchip on the walls. It felt like a budget hotel and not a £200p/n room. Bathroom is modern and clean. Not sure I’d use this chain again.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff were polite. The only reason I gave an overall score of 9 was because 2 of the bathroom tiles were loose and was very squeaky.

I absolutely love staying in a Motel One hotel. The comfort and cleanliness is always to such a high standard. Royal Exchange is in a fabulous location with the city, yet you hear no outside noise once in your room. The staff are very friendly and professional too. Motel One is always my preferred 'go to'
Nice hotel, great location and I'd definitely stay again. Friendly helpful staff. Good value for money. Lovely choice of items on continental breakfast. A few points that could be improved: No bin in bedroom (only in bathroom). No desk in bedroom to work from. Breakfast was chaotic - no logic to how things are laid out. I had to ask where the plates, bowls, glasses were. I couldn't find the orange juice. The layout of the breakfast bar and seating made the area restricted and congested with guests - most of whom were struggling to find items like I was.

I liked the lounge area and it was helpful that we were allowed in our rooms a couple of hours early. I also liked the bed. However, the room was far too small, I bumped into the TV on the wall in the night going around the bed. The window looked out at the rest of the hotel building so there was no view and it was gloomy in the morning, I could not even tell what the weather was. Also, I could not switch the air conditioning off when I was going to sleep, and the noise kept waking me up. I found the instructions in the morning. It would have been helpful if they had been by the air conditioning controls as the off switch was hidden from view.
I have stayed at many different Motel One locations and they are always my first choice to go to as the service is great and the rooms are nice.

I use BeOne in Austria and Germany, find them comfortable, reliable and easy to book directly. I always appreciate the member bottle of water. I liked the atmosphere in the sitting area at St Peters, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, expected standard, but I would have liked a real window!
A really lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean and proably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Good continental style breakfast. Convenient location.

Všechno fajn, jen snídaně proti hotelům na kontinentu i jinde poněkud chudší, chybí širší nabídka (párky, slanina, míchaná vejce, sladké pečivo).
Negativní pro mne byla zkušenost s e-mailovými odpověďmi na moje rezervace přes systém BeOne. Ty byly uživatelsky zcela mimo. Působily dojmem e-mailů od AI. Také stuktura Vaší vlastní mobilní aplikace je málo uživatelsky vstřícná. Nakonec jsem zvolila dražší zabookování přes Booking. com. Dobrou zkušenost jsem udělala s personálem hotelu, od dam a pánů na recepci (Maria i další), přes barmana v lounge, až po dámy, které uklízely pokoje.
Byli jsme moc spokojeni. Pěkné a čisté, velmi ochotný personál, skvělá dostupnost.
