This was my first time staying at Motel One and I cannot say that I would stay again. Whilst the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was mostly clean, there were a few cleanliness issues in the room. Stained bed linen and towels. One towel was also worn around the edges and rough. The odd hair was noticed in the bathroom and shower screen dusty. The mattress was too hard and the pillows too soft, plus with two single beds neon pushed together, there was a dip in the middle.
Welcoming reception. Accommodated my ask for a room away from lift. Clean spacious room with comfortable bed and good shower with shower gel provided. Air conditioning was a bit noisy at times in the night and minor point but would be good to have a bedside table on both sides.
I had a minor glitch in the booking process. When I went to online check-in there was a request for payment and the site sent me to my bank account details - but I had paid in full when I initially booked.
We LOVED our stay. We will definitely book again with Motel One. The room was perfect, the bed was huge and comfy with lovely pillows. Great accessible bathroom with a fantastic walk in shower. Only thing we would love next time is actual mugs instead of reusable and also maybe a mini fridge. No notes otherwise! Excellent value for money.

It was pretty average for the price I paid. The rooms are smaller than they appear and not very well equipped.

Handy location but in dire need of a refresh I am a beOne member and in hindsight, I should have booked directly and maybe I would have had a better experience. I can’t fault the location as it was extremely handy for everything. The staff were miserable upon checking in and checking out. My room was honestly so dingy and small with no view except a brick wall and some windows. The room had also seen better days and needs a refresh, especially the carpet. Overall very disappointing as I have stayed in several Motel Ones around Europe and this was my worst experience.
Very kind and friendly staff. Broken window handle in room 9-09 such that window cannot be locked closed, leaving a small gap always open.

Loved every minute of our time in your hotel. Absolutely excellent value for money. All staff we met were so professional, friendly, and helpful.
Location is excellent and the hotel provides good value for money. The room is rather small, making it difficult to get round the bed to the other side. The lack of storage space is irritating. The TV has an intermittent signal, and a light bulb on the beside light needed changing. There is nowhere to put a cup of tea or a bedside clock so that it is accessible when you are in bed.
Comfy bed, clean room, excellent service and a warm welcome, what more could you ask for. As always an excellent stay and will be back

Great location beside train (& tram) station, as well as easy walking distance to shops, chinatown, city hall etc. Bathrooms tiny but very functional with great quality towels provided. Breakfast had a decent selection, though a low fat yoghurt option would have been an added bonus. Room was small but functional - although an additional shelf or somewhere to put clothes would have been an advantage. Some usb ports for charging would also have been welcomed.

Smart, modern, clean and tidy. Everything works and the beds are comfy. I'm also glad that they have replaced the paper cups to something far more suitable.

Comfortable room with good air conditioning, good bathroom. The staff allowed me to check in once my room was ready which I really appreciated. My only slight criticism was that the landing carpets weren't vacuumed (level 6) so there a few bits of debris (eg a tissue and a bit of food) left after the cleaners had finished.

You get what you need, no more no less. The breakfast included in the price was very good. The room had air conditioning, essential now in summer, a summer duvet, good free WiFi and was totally soundproof. Excellent location opposite Piccadilly Station. Will definitely stay again.
It was such a beautiful location. It was near the station. It was near the restaurant. It was had a very good staff member of staff very clean very polite people very accommodating especially the staff was very nice and specially the guy who served us who welcome to us on the 24th of July 2026. He was such a beautiful person beautiful inside outside. it was 16 member of family we came for a graduation and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything we had in the hotel the service everything the cleaners we enjoyed everything bits Office thank you very much.
Fantastic family stay, loved the reception and bar area vibe! Great room with air con. Lovely friendly helpful staff. I called due to not being able to book family of 4 online, no issues at all to book over phone, my kids are 10/12 and smaller so able to fit on sofa bed. I was able to leave luggage for the day after check out. So handy for train station. Thank you

The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh and high-quality options. Overall, a wonderful experience. I love this hotel. It is super convenient for Piccadilly station, it is very well maintained, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is excellent. The food is varied and of good quality. The room is not large but fulfils all basic needs, the design everywhere is very pleasing. And cleanliness is good. Thank you. It is my go-to when I need to stay in Manchester.
The place was very nice. Location and staff were great. We managed to check in early and they help us print some files as well
We found the room to be comfortable and well designed, especially the bathroom. We also liked the buffet breakfast. We only scored the hotel as an 8 out of 10 as the cleaning of the common areas, particularly the lifts and the lobby area was not great.
I now stay here every time I go to Manchester. The rooms are clean, provide everything one needs and are very comfortable. The breakfast choices are excellent and the front of house staff are friendly, professional and helpful. And the hotel overall is great value for money.

Great place and location, always very polite staff and efficient. Couple of downsides, no USB ports by bed and the pillows were not great. My 3rd time staying at this hotel and would definitely stay again.
Good stay. Aircon was handy for the weather. Staff are always friendly. Didn’t use the breakfast service so can’t comment.
Every thing from booking in to departing was great, the staff we’re friendly and polite, we opted to go out for breakfast as thought the cost was a little high, especially when you pay £100 for a room for a night.
