Friendly and professional staff. Clean pleasant room. Long queue for check in wasn’t great.
We had a wonderful one stay for Take That concert Our room wasn’t ready the staff kept our bags. Check in was smooth friendly reception staff in checking out and in was a good experience during a busy time. The hotel was lovely and clean in the communal areas and in the rooms. spacious bedrooms comfortable beds pillows and bedding.very good shower and towels We used the bar nice gentleman served us Breakfast had a good choice for Continental breakfast replenished well.
The members of Staff; Tiana, Jack, Emily, Bergen, Fernando, Keith, Poppy, Felix, Hailey, Angel, Jason, Luke, Joe and night staff all delivered excellent service and customer care at all times.
Safe, clean and value for price paid
Room is adequate, a little small. Wardrobe space is inadequate and there's nowhere for a suitcase to be placed.
Fantastic staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel
Location. Bag drop. Good sized room. Comfortable bed.
An excellent hotel, perfect for a budget stay. Far more comfortable than expected for the price.
Very poor. I was stuck in a lift for approximately 42 minutes . Hotel staff were not going to ring fire engine as they had to ring engineer first and of the engineer didn't get back to them on 30 mins then they can ring fire engine . There was 8 of us in the lift (says it fits 13 absolutely doesn't !!!!!) it was like a sauna in there and they wanted us to wait another 30 mins on top of how long we'd already been stuck in there . My mum was luckily in the same hotel as us and before I lost signal I managed to get a text through to her to say we were trapped to which she argued with the receptionist when they refused to call the fire engines . So my mum rang them for us and they were with us within 4 minutes so props to them. When we finally got out the lift all we were given was a bottle of water ??? We asked to fill out an accident form and make a complaint to which we were told they don't have a form so we had to write our details down on a blank A4 piece of paper and I was promised a phone call off the manager the day after , I am still awaiting this phone call. There was a diabetic and an asthmatic person on the lift with us and the situation was not taken seriously enough by hotel staff . Someone was having a panic attack in the lidt due to the heat and the fear of the lift potentially dropping . Very disappointed with the staffs ability to deal with the incident and extremely disappointed we have not heard anyrging about it . Atleast some compensation is required .
Very nice, clean room, friendly and helpful staff
Professional staff good quality rooms.
Clean, convenient and most helpful staff. Poppy In particular was helpful and so friendly.
Decent value for money, clean, efficient and comfortable.. no frills but that was fine.
Really nice friendly staff. The hotel is very clean and in a great location.
We stayed at Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly from Wednesday to Sunday, and we had a fantastic stay! Initially, we had booked a seemingly okay hotel in the center of Manchester called the Gardens Hotel. However, due to a room that was substandard to say the least—featuring an indescribable, terrible smell in both the hallways and the room itself, sticky bathroom floors, and 'air conditioning' that was just a noisy desk fan—we felt forced to look for an alternative near Piccadilly. (We still haven't received a refund for the money we prepaid to that first hotel). We were absolutely overjoyed when we discovered there were vacancies at Motel One. Walking through the doors here was the exact opposite of what we experienced at the other hotel downtown. As soon as we realized there was availability, we downloaded the app and booked immediately. Then we went back to the awful hotel we had checked into, packed our bags, and checked out. At Motel One, the air was clean and refreshing the moment we walked in. We entered a modern, welcoming lounge area with the reception desk at the back. There, we were greeted by two wonderful gentlemen who were smiling, genuinely attentive, and took great care of us. They found us a great room on the 12th floor. We were even given complimentary bottles of water from the bar to take upstairs. The room exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, pristine, offered a great view, and smelled clean and luxurious. The bathroom was lovely, equipped with everything we needed, and featured a large, spotless shower. We also appreciated the big, plush towels that were replaced daily. The bed mattresses were among the best my partner and I have ever slept on at any hotel in Europe. On top of that, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light when wanted, with heavy curtains that blocked it out completely when it was time to sleep. Soundproofing was also excellent—no noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. I honestly can't find anything to complain about, other than a bit of static on the TV signal, and the fact that we prefer individual duvets over the double one provided (though we probably could have asked for this if it really mattered to us :-)). We feel we got great value for our money. It was an excellent and surprisingly wonderful experience! We will definitely choose Motel One for our next visit to England. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast this time, but everything else was top-notch.
Luke was so friendly at check-in, the room was spotless and I got a great night's sleep because of how quiet it was
Really good location and ideal base. Rooms were basic but very clean.
Absolutely perfect experience. The early check in is amazing. I checked in on Friday night and my train arrived at 11am on Saturday, by the time had travelled (max 5 min walk from station as it is literally across the road) to the hotel my room was ready. Will definitely stay again
The female receptionist was very helpful on my Friday night stay as she provided me with 2 large plasters for my cut knee.
My friend and I chose your hotel as it was near the Metrolink to get to the Etihad Arena to see, with many thousand others lol, Take That. Our stay was perfect, the room was lovely and we were given a room right near the lift, the breakfast was really nice and the staff were really helpful
We really enjoyed our stay, the reception staff in particular were super helpful and cheery. Check in and check out was super smooth. 12pm check out is much appreciated too, wish more hotels would do this. Everything was good except one thing. We paid extra for a room with a view. I would definitely not do this again, the view was over the train station and an underpass! I would certainly not pay extra for these rooms again as the view was very disappointing and the noise that came with overlooking the station was constant throughout the night.
Lovely hotel nice lobby great reception staff, room was a comfortable stay, nice bathroom. Only thing was the outdated stipple walls in the room
Staff lovely and room clean. However we've been staying in nearby hotels and in comparison in what you pay for it doesn't give you quality for money. The room is very small no option to pay at property and no breakfast option included in price All of the above i could have got at a very similar price at The Reach or Native. We thought we would trial it out but im afraid we wouldn't do a return visit. I also found the hotel very dark overall.
I think next time, I need to get a room at the back of the motel as it was very noisy! The room could do with updating but the bed was so comfy
Great from early check in to morning breakfast.
I had a great stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well located, with easy access to the city centre and transport links. The staff were welcoming and professional, and everything worked exactly as expected. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
Very small bedroom shower had little power in it breakfast not inc expensive for such a small room pillow was dirty can't upload pictures for some reason staff were fabulous wouldn't stay here again
Based on a 1-night stay... The link I was provided to do online check-in didn't work, but reception told me it wouldn't have saved much time anyway so it seems a bit pointless sending out the online check in link. Motel One Piccadilly is welcoming and nicely furnished in the reception and bar area. Upstairs is basic, hallways are clean and well maintained but very uninspiring. Our standard double room was clean, compact, the shower room was clean, the shower worked well. 2 lightbulbs in our room were faulty (one of the reading lights didn't work at all, and the light in the entrance kept flickering). Bed was comfortable. The TV was old /the picture wasn't great. Breakfast was continental only. My mocha from the machine was not great, but the latte was ok. Boiled eggs and toast were ok. Pastries passable but could be better. There was a selection of 3 meats but only 1 cheese, so if you don't like monterey jack cheese don't bother (surely there's better local cheese that could be provided). Overall I regretted booking breakfast and should have saved my money to get something better from a local cafe. The check out time of 12 noon was appreciated. I felt the room and breakfast were overpriced for what they were (£138 for 1 night with breakfast). Location is good for Piccadilly train station and Store St car park, and about a 5 - 10 min walk to Market Street.
perfect location for those who need to use the train to visit neraby cities; spacoius room anda wonderfull view on the city; very good breakfast; friendly and helpful staff
convenience and comfortable
Toilet stunk of poo upon arrival for around 2 hours. Wasn’t us other than that room served its purpose and facilities did there purpose, reception very friendly and helpful.
Where to start. Booking in was so efficient and I loved the bottle of water. Great sized room and good view of the station. Bed and pillows were to die for, so comfortable and curtains blocked light out well. Shower was the best I've ever used in a hotel but towels were a bit dry. All staff I ce across were so helpful staff at the bar were incredible especially at making cocktails. I'll definitely be booking again and recommending to anyone I speak to.
Very comfortable accommodation at very convenient location close to Piccadilly Railway station.
Lovely few days stay. All the staff I came across were lovely. Breakfast amazing too. Definitely would stay again.
Very clean motel and the staff are very friendly
Every thing was perfect , thank you
Great stay as usual, great value and comfortable rooms with great staff
Pleasant visit, comfortable room and very friendly staff. Great location
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Motel One and would certainly stay again. Just wonder why the large disparity between the cost for one of the nights compared to much higher cost for the second night?
Helpful friendly clean just a lovely hotel
Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Very central for getting around, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Beautiful decor, comfy large bed and excellent breakfast. I will definitely stay again.
good value for money, clean, quiet, comfy stay.
Reasonable price, comfy beds, quiet and great service from the staff. Will definitely use again.
Really friendly staff and a warm welcome on arrival. Clean, bright room and a comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.
Really comfortable and quiet stay
Brilliant stay. Front office was flawless and a clean example of customer service. Bar staff was always friendly. Burgan really looked after us and gave us a bigger room to cater for our family. Hotel was beautiful, quiet and perfect location. Housekeeping serviced our room and give us unclean pillows and towels twice unfortunately, but Burgan was able to provide us with fresh ones. Thanks!
Bathroom drains were stinking of a foul odour from the moment we checked in till we left. The fire alarm went off around 11pm during Friday night for no apparent reason. The staff however were very nice and happy to help. The hotel room was very underwhelming for the price we paid.
Hotel was a little too expensive for the quality of the room and stay, though the staff were brilliant and very friendly and helpful. It felt very much like a budget hotel in room layout and size but looking just a bit better than the competition- but for a lot more money. Picked for the location as we were going to Download Festival by coach and the coach stop was literally down the road from the hotel. Honestly, I think the hotel had to have known and raised rates, as we were paying £135 a night for a Thursday and a Friday, but the hotel didn’t appear busy. Room is very small, not a lot in the way of storage. Only one bedside table was frustrating, and lack of USB charging was disappointing, though there are a few UK sockets around the room. To their credit, there was actually a European socket in the room which is handy for travellers. TV signal was a bit shoddy, lots of pixelation and artifacts, and had a light on the bottom that was so bright it was distracting when trying to sleep. Had to find a way to temporarily cover it so it wasn’t shining in my eyes when trying to get down. Bathroom was better than expected, with good fixtures and clean. But, the bath towels supplied in our room literally had holes in them! Shocking, honestly, but reception sorted it in minutes with fresh, in tact towels, and were very apologetic. Air conditioning worked great, but the duvet was a little too warm for my tastes. Reception again were great and gave us an extra flat sheet for sleeping under instead which helped me sleep a bit more comfortably on the second night. Check in and check out were seamless and, again, the staff were great. Though the room itself was ‘OK’ for the price, I can’t praise the staff enough. They are a big part of why I’d still recommend the hotel if you need the location. If you need to be literally on Manchester Piccadilly’s doorstep it’s a good option, but this is a budget hotel first and foremost. Make sure you’re not paying over the odds, or accept that you’re willing to if you need the access to Piccadilly.
I was so concerned about visiting Manchester for a funeral, particularly not sleep due to tram, train and city life noise. Your team found me a great room, I slept great. Also unprepared for rain the girl in reception lent me a brolly and gave lots of excellent advice. Great people working for you.
Všechno fajn, jen snídaně proti hotelům na kontinentu i jinde poněkud chudší, chybí širší nabídka (párky, slanina, míchaná vejce, sladké pečivo).

Hotel Manchester-Piccadilly
Vítejte ve městě hudby, vítejte v Machesteru! Výlet do tohoto města na severozápadu Anglie se neobejde bez správného hudebního doprovodu. Tady totiž vznikly kapely Oasis, The Smiths, Stone Roses a Take That. Proto také zdobí stěny Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly tapeta s portréty těchto legendárních hudebních skupin. Na baru vytváří klubová křesla značky Varier a sedačky od Living Divani pohodovou zákulisní atmosféru a elektrické kytary a gramofonové desky ji dolaďují k dokonalosti. Také pilná včelka, symbol Manchesteru, je naším hostem: fotokoláž na téma Manchester Bee vyplňuje prostor barvami, zlatá závěsná svítidla od Produzione Privata připomínají tělo včely a sedačkové lavice značky Signet zdobí medově zlaté polštáře.
Náš cenově výhodný designový hotel leží v centru Manchesteru v bezprostřední blízkosti mnoha památek, jako například divadla Royal Manchester Theatre a Manchesterské katedrály.
Don't worry, Bee happy!
