Dead shield bug in the bed! Room also smelled a bit musty, however the bed was comfortable and did the job for one night. Breakfast was good, but not much hot food choice. Bar was very reasonably priced and very well stocked

Rooms were lovely and clean. There should be a mini fridge to allow guests to store perishable items and medications.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Motel One, Piccadilly recently. Our room was comfortable and clean, hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Our only negative observation was that the breakfast seating area is located beside a busy sliding exit door and it became very cold and uncomfortable to sit and have breakfast there. Prehaps this door could be kept closed for the short duration of breakfast times to ensure the comfort of your guests. Other than that, our review of this hotel is a very positive one. Thank you.

Did not like the pillows, paper cups and bathroom steamed up when using the shower there was no where to sit in front of a mirror to do your hair and makeup. I was expecting a proper English breakfast. On the plus side, room clean and adequate, staff very helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay: the overall aesthetic and vibe of the reception/bar area was really nice. The reception staff member who checked me in was really friendly and helpful. I really liked the room, with the bed very comfy and the shower really clean and high quality. I also really appreciated the breakfast - it was lovely and fresh with lots of variety. Even though I am British, I much prefer a continental approach to breakfast over the 'full English' approach, so it was perfect for me. If I had one complaint it was the paper cups in the room for tea and coffee, as these were small and flimsy. And no shelf next to one side of the bed - the side with the socket - was a little bit annoying. But not enough to detract from the overall rating. I had a lovely stay.
Clean but Basic Rooms - limited hanging facilities. No bedside table. Reception & bar nice but have to eat breakfast in reception area!

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good, but the other arrangements in the room were unsatisfactory. I like to do some work on my laptop, but the only thing to sit on at the table was a very uncomfortable stool, which was far too low and had no back support. After half an hour I could hardly stand with induced back ache. The only other thing to sit on was a very badly designed chair which was equally uncomfortable. I tried sitting on that for about two minutes and gave it up as a bad job. Breakfast was not too bad, but apart from boiled eggs there was no hot choice, and no Marmite for toast. I realise Motel One is an international chain, but in an English location surely it is not too difficult to provide Marmite? You had crumpets, after all. They have Marmite at Holiday Inn, so why can't you?
Very well situated hotel. Adjacent to Piccadilly Station plus reasonably priced ( by city centre standards ) NCP nearby. Rooms are comfortable, if perhaps slightly smaller sized, and I would have appreciated some glasses in the room, however the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked very good in the morning
Straight forward booking. Across the road from Piccadilly Station. Friendly service. And the best thing was the 3PM late check-out for membership holders, which is great if you want to have a shower after completing the Manchester Marathon before getting a train home.
Very reasonable option, good access to transport, allows late check-ins. Only 2 - reasons for not giving a 10 - If light sleep and room is above tram line you will hear the tram - in 1 stay out 6, shower-room had hair left on the wall from previous occupant.

We had a great stay, hotel decor was great we love Manchester music everywhere was spotless. Staff were great so friendly Room was perfect and the bed and pillows were so comfortable will definitely be staying again we did pay a lot for the room over normal rates which was understandable due to how busy Manchester was on our weekend

A friendly welcome. Comfortable bed , clean . Enjoyed the breakfast which cost extra. A good varied choice of continental breakfast . A few other pastries would have been nice but that’s personal preference. Would definitely recommend & stay again as it’s a great central base with parking right next door at Q park & main hub tram/train station just over the tuas

I needed to change the address of my invoice as it was wrong. The staff at reception initially said it was not possible and then took ages to do this.
Caroert on common corridor level 3 looked very dirty and could had been renewed. Was given room 317 which did not have any view. News channell Sky did not work
I have stayed with you a few times the rooms are usually ok, but this time the air con wasn't working so hot in the room no phone to call down it was making a noise so couldn't sleep as well in the morning told the receptionist she just said she would report it.
Would be nice to have some water in the room.

Goed, was erg fijn dat we al vroeg konden inchecken, ook werd de mogelijkheid om de tassen alvorens de check-in af te geven.

Heerlijk hotel, centraal gelegen, freebus om de hoek, lekker ontbijt, leuke bar en inrichting en heel vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader!
Kleine kamer met comfortabele bedden. Alles netjes zuiver en zeep en handoeken aanwezig op badkamer. Koffie en thee met waterkoker aanwezig. Tegenover het treinstation is super makkelijk.
We hebben al eerder in motel one hotels de nacht doorgebracht. Glasgow en Newcastle We vonden Manchester de minste

We konden voor check in tijd onze hotelkamer in, Europese stopcontacten in Engeland, elke dag schone handdoeken, locatie , rustig ondanks grootte van Hotel, vriendelijk staf

De waterdruk van de douche had wat beter gekund, maar verder was alles prima. Mooi hotel, de kamer had zelfs Europese stopcontacten naast het bed
Ik ben al in diverse Motel One hotels geweest in verschillende landen (en nu voor de 3e keer in Manchester). Altijd voorspelbaar prettig: de bedden zijn prima en alle basic dingen die nodig zijn voor een fijn verblijf zijn doorgaans goed in orde. Dat was ook nu weer zo, maar ik vond dat er ook wat dingen aan een opknapbeurt of serieuze schoonmaak toe zijn: het tapijt was viezig, het kleine bureautje beschadigd, op de TV miste alle BBC kanalen. Belangrijkste suggestie: doe iets aan de inkijk vanuit het station en nabijgelegen gebouwen. Mijn kamer op de 4e verdieping keek direct uit op de hoofdingang van het station en omdat dit zo dichtbij is moest ik eigenlijk steeds de gordijnen dichthouden. Hang hier wat vitrage op en de gasten hebben een stuk meer privacy.
Een heel goed gelegen hotel met een hippe uitstraling, prettige lounge en mooie kamers (waarvan sommige met prachtig uitzicht). De service was fantastisch, wat een aardig en behulpzaam personeel! Heerlijk ontbijt met een ruime keuze en alles was lekker en vers. Ik zou zeker teruggaan naar dit hotel bij een volgend bezoek aan Manchester.
Op loopafstand van Station Piccadilly. Heel vriendelijk personeel, en erg schoon.

Ligging en omgeving
Hotel Manchester-Piccadilly
Welkom in de culturele hoofdstad. Een citytrip naar het noordwesten van Engeland gaat altijd gepaard met goede muziek: Oasis, The Smiths, Stone Roses en Take That vonden hier hun roots. Het is dan ook niet meer dan logisch dat portretten van beroemde bands zijn verwerkt in het behang van het Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly. Aan de bar zorgen clubchairs van Varier en een zithoek van Living Divani voor een ontspannen backstagesfeer. Elektrische gitaren en grammofoonplaten maken het muzikale ontwerp compleet. Ook het symbool van de stad, de vlijtige bij, is te gast in ons hotel: een fotocollage met als thema Manchester Bee brengt kleur in het hotel, gouden hanglampen van Produzione Privata doen denken aan bijennesten en de banken van Signet zijn versierd met honinggele kussens.
Ons voordelige designhotel ligt in het hartje van Manchester, in de directe omgeving van talrijke bezienswaardigheden zoals het Royal Manchester Theatre en de kathedraal van Manchester. Recht tegenover het hotel ligt het Piccadilly Station, het centraal station van Manchester. Zo ben je ook vrij snel bij de iets verder weg liggende interessante plaatsen zoals Salford Quays en de luchthaven van Manchester.
