A lovely Motel One in a great central location. Charming and helpful reception staff. Lovely room overlooking the main square - we enjoyed staying here.
Pleasant service and very nice and helpful people at the front desk. The room was small, but that is expected for the center of a historic European city.
This was a return visit to Motel One Linz, and we were very happy to be back. Once again, everything met our expectations. The hotel is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to stay. The staff are always welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. It's clear why we chose to come back. We had another excellent stay and will gladly return again in the future. Highly recommended!

We hadden een rustig gelegen kamer aan de achterkant. Ontbijt was prima.Centraal gelegen in Linz aan Hauptplatz.

We had a wonderful stay in probably one of the most beautiful rooms with an exceptional view of the Hauptplatz. Location was perfect, direct in city center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great secure garage to stall our bikes over night. For us nothing to improve.

Our stay at Motel One Linz was excellent. The hotel reception, lobby, hallways & our room were extremely clean and well presented. Staff were so helpful and sincere. I would highly recommend a stay at Motel One Linz
Only thing missing for me was option for laundry service, (silent) fridge in room, gym.

Very central and easy to reach by public transport. The rooms are rather basic and rather small compared to some other Motel Ones. Clean and fine breakfast a usual in Motel One. Very friendly front desk service. Compared to other Motel One locations is this one rather compact because its location and the architecture of the site. However they did everything to make it look as a Motel One. It's not my favorite one but will stay loyal to Motel One even in Linz.
the AC did not work, it only switched on in the morning when I left the room. I had an "internal" room which has a window to an internal court. The air was stuffy during the whole night. Room 222
Great location, comfortable rooms and very accommodating staff.
Great stay with delicious breakfast and comfy beds:) All staff were so nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was so nice, close to many places you may want to see by walking. I stayed with my 7-year-old daughter without any difficulty.We left quite thankfully.

nice experience. Room could've been cleaner -- there was age old dirt and a fly graveyard in between the windows (double window style) Please find a solution to add shower doors. Splashing water out of the shower / cramping in the corner for a shower is very unsatisfactory.
The mini safe is a very good equipment. Usually, I miss a small fridge from hotels. The room on ZG was the best room of all the MotelOne's I've gotten.

Alles kompakt, praktisch, sauber
No phone in the room, no fridge , no coffee, no water, no tea in the room. Not enough soap and shampoo in the bathroom. No scrambled eggs at breakfast.
Hotel is centrally located and allows to reach all points of interest within walking distance. Room was very spacious and -as usual for MotelOne- very clean. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of local products. Very friendly staff at both reception and breakfast
Very nice room but would have liked a real closet and some drawer or other storage areas. A small refrigerator would also be nice. Bathroom was very clean and large, but could use few more towel racks. Lobby was great and breakfast very good. Very happy with our stay.

Paper cups in the rooms (no glasses). Didn't even replace the paper cups that were used! No tissues in the rooms, no water. No cabinetry in the room, no safe in the room. Small things, but added up.
Everyone were so helpful, kind and understanding.
Marked down for lack of hanging space for clothes. Bathroom very small also nowhere to put anything.

Everything was excellent, except of the size of the room and the bathroom. It is so small, that I didn't find a place to put my things while I'm taking a shower
The breakfast was mot totally satisfactory because of missing product which nornally should be included in continental breakfast (such as bacon, sausages, etc) Taxi reservation requested trough reception lead to a discussion with taxi driver because of missing written confirmation about agreed tarif.
Good placement of the hotel. The room was not ready despite the fact that I called twice to inform our arrival time and it was confirmed. Stairs on the way of the room- I explained before that is a problem and I would like kindly a room accessible with a lift.

The hotel is ok, but the organization seems understaffed and a bit loose. I chose the hotel because on the site it says there are rental bikes, I even called to check if I had to reserve and heard that there were more than enough. Once I got there, there were no bikes I could take out of town (which I needed). Housekeeping could be a lot better (corridors dirty, my room needed an extra cleaning). That said, the rooms are nicely designed and most personnel is friendly.
We loved this hotel, it was perfect for us with a child. Room was big and clean, and the staff was friendly. The only negativ was the breakfast. Not enough place to sit down and every morning was the same choice.
Heel fijn hotel met moderne hotelkamers in een authentiek historisch pand. Locatie is perfect gelegen aan de Hauptplatz. Ontbijt was heerlijk, kortom ik kom graag weer eens langs.

Het enige wat ik heb gemist is de mogelijkheid om op de kamer thee te zetten. Verder was het prima.
Een motel One zoals elke motel one. Prima kamer, schoon, netjes. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. De locatie aan de Hauptplatz is ook goed, dicht bij vele tram-lijnen.en ook dicht bij de donau.

Wij heten je van harte welkom binnen de muren van ons eerste hotel in Linz! Het concept voor ons interieur is gebaseerd op de historische oorsprong van het gebouw en de topligging aan de Hauptplatz midden in de stad. We hebben het decoratieve stucwerk en speelse details uit de rijke geschiedenis van de stad Linz gecombineerd met modern design en industriële elementen. Daartussen vormen de fietsbellen, fietslampen en zadeltassen in ons hotel niet alleen een uitstekende decoratie, maar ze zijn ook een hommage aan Linz als etappe op de Donau-fietsroute. Bij het ontwerpen van het Motel One Linz hebben wij ook Oostenrijkse designers gevraagd om mee te denken. In de One Lounge nodigen de zitmeubelen van het merk Wittmann en van de gebroeders Thonet Vienna uit om te gaan zitten en volop te genieten van ons uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet. Wil je wat langer blijven zitten? Natuurlijk kan dat! 's Avonds lokt de bar van Motel One Linz niet alleen met zijn uitstekende selectie gin, maar ook met een stijlvolle ambiance - Art Nouveau, om precies te zijn. De handgemaakte tegeltjes met veertjesmotief in de bar doen denken aan de ornamenten van dit tijdperk. Verder is ons voordelige city hotel, zoals gebruikelijk, voorzien van gratis wifi en gezellige kamers met comfortabele boxspringbedden. Perfect voor alle gasten die op de Donau-Radweg onderweg zijn en na de tocht door Oostenrijk graag even willen bijkomen van hun fietstocht. Maar je hoeft gelukkig niet op de fiets naar ons hotel komen. Dankzij de ligging in de buurt van het station ligt Motel One Linz heel centraal en is goed bereikbaar. Verder heb je ook de luchthaven, het stadcentrum van Linz en de omgeving van de stad binnen handbereik. Bij aankomst in het hotel verwacht ons vriendelijke personeel jou. Vanaf 15 uur kun je inchecken.
Ben je niet alleen maar voor je plezier in Linz? Ook goed! Voor zakelijke reizigers is ons hotel niet alleen ideaal vanwege de centrale ligging en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding, maar ook omdat zij kunnen beschikken over een aparte vergaderruimte naast de One Lounge.
Iedereen die Linz al langer als reisdoel op zijn lijstje van stedentrips heeft staan, weet vast en zeker dat kunst en cultuur hier hoog staan aangeschreven. In de onmiddellijke omgeving van ons designhotel vlakbij de Hauptplatz vind je het Lentos Kunstmuseum, het Ars Electronica Center en het Schlossmuseum. Bovendien heeft Linz een grote keuze aan eethuisjes, restaurants en lunchrooms te bieden. Hier kun jij je tegoed doen aan de zalige specialiteiten uit Boven-Oostenrijk zoals knödl, bratl (gebraden vlees) en nog veel meer. Ook het Brucknerhaus en het Casino Linz aan het Schillerpark Linz liggen op loopafstand en zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken. En als je graag even ontspant in een mooie groene omgeving, dan kun je heerlijk flaneren in het stadspark en het Bauernberg Park. Niet alleen het stadscentrum van Linz heeft het nodige te bieden, maar ook de omgeving van de stad. Hoor je dat? De Pöstlingberg roept! De berg ligt op 4,5 km van Linz vandaan en dus niet al te ver van ons voordelige hotel. Vanaf de Pöstlingberg heb je een schitterend uitzicht op de stad en de Donau. Dat is toch op en top Linz, of niet soms?
