Everything was as expected as stayed in many Motel One establishments. The team at Graz looked after everything we required. The hotel was immaculately clean, rooms quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as usual.

We were Walk-In on Wednesday as we jut decided to have a day in Graz on our way home. We were very impressed with the high standar of the hotel and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We usually use the NH Hotel when we stay in Graz, bus as of now it will be Motel One.
Everything was great. Perfect location, very nice room and very kind personal.
The hotel is extremely well set up, good decor good food extremely clean and all staff were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and they did everything with a smile on their face. Location is great providing excellent access to transport links and access to the local area.

I had a wonderful stay at Motel One Graz. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk from the opera and most of the city’s main attractions. The design is amazing, stylish yet warm, and every detail feels well thought through. The rooms are functional, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, offering everything you need for a pleasant city stay. A special mention goes to the lovely staff, who were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. Whether you’re visiting Graz for business or leisure, Motel One Graz is an excellent choice, modern, efficient, and full of charm.

Motel is in a good location near Jakominiplatz. The rooms are clean with surprisingly good sound insulation. You can get everywhere in the city under 30 minutes wirh the tram station near the motel.

The room was superb clean, the breakfast was delicious and offered great dairy-free choices as well, which I needed.

Feels Like Home at Motel One I had a fantastic stay at Motel One. The room was excellent — spotless, well-sized, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed and a desk, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home immediately. The location is perfect, and the overall offer is exactly what I appreciate: everything I need, nothing unnecessary, and all at a great price. I especially liked the self-check-in and the convenience of using my phone as a room key — very modern and efficient. The only small hiccup was returning to the hotel after midnight: the front sliding door didn’t open automatically, and I wasn’t sure how to use the phone key to get in. Luckily, another guest was leaving, so I was able to enter. I’m still not sure if it was a mistake on my part or a technical issue, but it didn’t affect my overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for smart comfort and great value!

It was a super great experience of 5 nights. I booked through the conferenece homepage's recommendation. The price is rational. The service was great. And the most important for me, it is in the center of city. The breakfast was also impressive by the way!
1. I arrived from the night train from Zurich-tired and unwashed at 8h, and was greeted with: Your room is ready now. Precious words indeed. 2. We arranged a UPS delivery, storage and collection- all so smooth and easy, with scissors and sticky tape available. 3. We changed the reservations by phone. Again, so easy and kind. We love Motel One and its wonderful staff! Thank you.
Attentive staff, cozy rooms
I had an excellent stay at Motel One in Graz. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a smile. Furkan checked me in and was very friendly, provided excellent service, and recommended an excellent restaurant serving Austrian food. I also worked with Viktoria. She was always very attentive and friendly - even though I asked her for help multiple times upon arriving. Everyone at the reception desk was friendly and helpful - but both Furkan and Viktoria went well above and beyond what I would have expected.

Having stayed at both Salzburg and Graz Motel Ones within the last few weeks, we noted the usual reliable value and quality levels but unfortunately poor and overpriced breakfast offerings. Motel One definitely needs to improve in this area.
Good as usual
Prima hotel met goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Perfecte ligging direct in het centrum en toch goed bereikbaar per auto. Helaas geen ruimte om fietsen te stallen (daarom geen 9).
Another great Motel One experience. No surprise, always same. I do not remember how many times I stayed in MotelOne hotels but they make me feel at home. I do not stay in any hotel other than MotelOne If there is a MotelOne in a city that I am travelling to. Highly recommended.
The location was amazing, but we were disappointed that the room is too small and doesn't have basic things what I expected from 4* hotel such as kettle and fridge.
Very stylish location next to the center of Graz. The only small points deduction is for the wheelchair accessible bathroom - sanitary facilities are installed too low, even for a small person.
The reservation process was inadequate. Booking from the website did not work, I then booked by email and got a much higher price than indicated on the website. Breakfast had to be paid extra. The price was too high. The slogan "like the price" was not suitable.

De ligging van het hotel is fantastisch. Uitstraling ook. De kamer zelf is erg klein, evenals de badkamer. Daarnaast zaten er puilde het stof uit het badkamerfilter er enorm uit. Erg onhygienisch.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. The bar area was nice. Staff were pleasant. It would make a big difference if there were a couple of items added to the bar menu apart from sandwiches.

Everything was ok. The only bad things were the lack of options from the breakfast, and the noise made sometimes by the local transportation (which i know it is not avoidable).
Ik heb een prima verblijf gehad, het enige minpunt vond ik dat er geen waterkoker en koelkastje op de kamer aanwezig was. Daarnaast werden de wegwerp bekers niet vervangen, terwijl ik 5 nachten verbleef.
Mooie locatie en heerlijke bedden, goede douche, wat wil je nog meer?

Hoofdstad van het genieten
Welkom bij "Jako". Zo noemen de bewoners van Graz de drukke Jakominiplatz vaak. Dat is waar je ons betaalbare designhotel in Graz vindt. Hier in het zuiden van het eerste stadsdistrict ben je verzekerd van uitstekend openbaar vervoer. Ook te voet kun je echter heel eenvoudig belangrijke bezienswaardigheden en mooie plekken ontdekken. Een spil van de binnenstad waar veel mensen samenkomen. Er is geen betere plek om tijdens een stedentrip te vertoeven.
Graz is zo divers
De hoofdstad van de deelstaat Stiermarken is kleurrijk, charmant, open en gevarieerd. "Genieten" staat hier niet alleen voor culinaire hoogstandjes, maar ook voor een reis waarbij alle zintuigen geprikkeld worden. Van kunst en cultuur tot pompoenpitolie: de hartslag van de stad is te horen, te zien en te proeven zodra je de deur van ons hotel uitstapt. Het historische centrum van Graz ligt op minder dan tien minuten loopafstand. Wandel langs de Herrengasse en bewonder de prachtige barokke gebouwen. Onderweg kun je ook het Landeszeughaus (ofwel het Arsenaal) zien, dat gebouwd is tussen 1642 en 1647. Het weerspiegelt een historisch deel van Stiermarken. Via de historische geplaveide straten van de smalle oude steegjes bereik je de legendarische klokkentoren en kom je langs architectonische gebouwen van verschillende tijdperken. Dichtbij ligt de Schlossbergbahn, die je naar het symbool van Graz brengt. Van daaruit kun je je volgende bestemming zien: de Murinsel. Dichtbij het Kunsthaus kun je genieten van heerlijke Oostenrijkse koffie in het opvallende design van de New Yorker Vito Acconci of kun je een evenement bijwonen. Of? En!
Je bent nog steeds dichtbij ons hotel – op slechts ongeveer een kilometer afstand. Onze tip: wandel door het stedelijke groen van het pittoreske stadspark naar de universiteit van Graz. Opgericht op 1 januari 1585 is het, na de universiteit van Wenen, de oudste universiteit van Oostenrijk. Vanaf daar sluit je de cirkel door in zuidwestelijke richting naar het kasteel te lopen. Het werd vanaf 1438 in opdracht van de latere Romeins-Duitse keizer Friedrich III gebouwd. Er valt hier veel te zien: zoals de Ententeichkurve (eendenvijver), de oranjerie en de middeleeuwse stadspoort. Op de terugweg naar het hotel passeer je het imposante operagebouw, zowel indrukwekkend traditioneel als eigentijds. Direct naast het historische gebouw staat een stalen vrijheidsbeeld. Dit is oorspronkelijk ontworpen door Hartmut Skerfisch voor het Steirischer Herbst-festival in 1992 en vormt nu een integraal onderdeel van Graz.

Als designhotel gaan we goed in deze omgeving op, aangezien de op één na grootste stad van Oostenrijk in 2011 door UNESCO werd uitgeroepen tot City of Design. In ons hotel begin je de dag met een gevarieerd ontbijt met veel biologische producten en fairtradekoffie en sluit je de dag comfortabel af in de One Lounge, aan de bar of in je voordelige, comfortabele kamer - met gratis wifi inbegrepen.
