Great stay; super central in Linz...
For activating the lights you need a physical card. The keyless mobile opening was extremely slow.

The hotelpersonnel is young, clever, kind and professional.
It's actually a hotel with basic features while the design and some small touches make it feel elevated. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms and common areas are clean. Breakfast is good, no warm options and no daily variations but quality is good, especially coffee/juices and bakery goods - okay for 3-4 mornings but not more I think. Room felt a bit small with limited storage options (just a few hangers, plus two shelves and a small desk), but nice. TV is big but would expect more options eg. streaming apps or youtube built in, few people wants to see linear television nowadays and screen mirroring is not adequate for movies etc. The always-switching-on-welcome-fishes are rather annoying than calming :) One thing to improve: while the windows having blackout curtains, they just barely fit to the opening part of the window frame and make enough gaps therefore to unfulfill their mission, and the room gets quite bright in the morning - bad news for people require darkness for sleep. Also, bathroom design is nice but the black metal shower floor is quite uncomfortable for the feet as it always feels cold, even right after taking a shower.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the location is amazing, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable. We were just very surprised that there was no storage in the rooms - this is why I can't give full marks! We had booked 2 rooms, and the smaller of the two rooms did at least have some good shelving next to the entrance door, however the second room, which was considerably larger, only had two tiny shelves that were not sufficient at all, and a few clothes hangers. There would be plenty of space for a wardrobe but we had to live out of our suitcases, which wasn't very comfortable as we stayed for an entire week, and there was also no iron/ironing board in the room so every day we had to ask and carry it upstairs from the reception. Also some of the staff at reception gave inadequate/incorrect information when we asked questions, so there is a bit of a lack of local knowledge (for example about where there is a lift to get to the underground parking on the Hauptplatz with 4 large suitcases and where to be able to buy drinks in the evening once the shops are closed).
Rooms clean and nice. Breakfast tasty with vegan options. A little bit more variety would be great. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The receptionist girl was not happy when I have asked for a free welcoming water… is it a crime to get water when you arrive? It was very unpleasant experience, customer service obviously is not the strongest feature in the Linz hotel.

The hotel is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to stay. The staff are always welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. It's clear why we chose to come back. We had another excellent stay and will gladly return again in the future. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in probably one of the most beautiful rooms with an exceptional view of the Hauptplatz. Location was perfect, direct in city center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great secure garage to stall our bikes over night. For us nothing to improve.

Very central and easy to reach by public transport. The rooms are rather basic and rather small compared to some other Motel Ones. Clean and fine breakfast a usual in Motel One. Very friendly front desk service. Compared to other Motel One locations is this one rather compact because its location and the architecture of the site. However they did everything to make it look as a Motel One. It's not my favorite one but will stay loyal to Motel One even in Linz.
the AC did not work, it only switched on in the morning when I left the room. I had an "internal" room which has a window to an internal court. The air was stuffy during the whole night. Room 222

Great stay with delicious breakfast and comfy beds:) All staff were so nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was so nice, close to many places you may want to see by walking. I stayed with my 7-year-old daughter without any difficulty.We left quite thankfully.

nice experience. Room could've been cleaner -- there was age old dirt and a fly graveyard in between the windows (double window style) Please find a solution to add shower doors. Splashing water out of the shower / cramping in the corner for a shower is very unsatisfactory.
Świetne doświadczenie mimo początkowych problemów - po obciążeniu karty system rezerwacyjny hotelu zawiesił się i nie otrzymałem potwierdzenia rezerwacji. Sprawa została załatwiona po mojej interwencji mailowej. Personel bardzo pomocny, otrzymaliśmy najlepszy pokój z naszej kategorii, przestronny i wygodny, gustownie urządzony, dobry wybór miedzynarodowych kanałów TV. Ceny w barze bardzo sensowne, śniadanie pyszne, bez tłoku. Będę korzystać z Motel1 w przyszłości.
The mini safe is a very good equipment. Usually, I miss a small fridge from hotels. The room on ZG was the best room of all the MotelOne's I've gotten.

Nice and clean hotel at the perfect location in Linz for a business trip or to explore the city.
Powiadomiłam hotel o tym, że podróżuję z psem, nie otrzymałam informacji zwrotnej, że psy akceptowane są tylko w wybranych pokojach. Pierwszy pokój do którego otrzymałam klucz wyglądał przygnębiająco. Drzwi balkonowe wychodziły na ogolnodostepny dziedziniec, bardzo zaniedbany i odrażający. Na szczęcie udało sie zamienic pokoje. Jednak nadal stan czystosci pozostawał duzo do zyczenia. Obsluga na recepcji tez malo sympatyczna. Czesto korzystamy z mezem z tej sieci hoteli i ten dotychczas byl najgorszym w ktorym spalismy.

Bardzo dobry hotel. Idealne położenie w samym centrum Linz. Mała, ale wygodna i dobrze urządzona łazienka. Pokój również ma wszystko czego można oczekiwać przy tej cenie. Śniadania smaczne. Ogólnie nie mogłem wybrać lepszego miejsca na jednodniowy przystanek w Linz. P.s. Nie było też problemu, żeby zamówić dostawkę dla dziecka.
