Great central place in Berlin easy access to S Bahn and U Bahn. Bit slow re staff at Breakfast but a decent one as a buffet.
I was impressed and will stay again. Comfortable modern clean rooms. Good price. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Great location near public transport.

You have a great front desk support team. And... I left my running glasses in the room. I did not recognize that I left them for a few days after I left your hotel. After a few emails, your team sent them to me (free of charge). That is amazing! Great hospitality!
Everything was as perfect as I am used from Motel One. Tried the breakfast for the very first time and was happy with the variety that was offered. Will be back.
A very nice place and location. A suggestion: people typically arrive tired and tend to sleep long the next morning. It would be nice if the breakfast was served until later. Also, let the customers know that when they are leaving, they need to buy Zone C tickets for the airport S-Bahn, or else it's 60 Euro fine!

Overall, it’s a good hotel in a great location for sightseeing. However, the neighborhood has very few restaurants, and none are particularly interesting—you’ll need to go elsewhere for good food, unless you enjoy shitty American fast food. Additionally, the music in the bar was too loud, and the temperature inside was uncomfortably high.

Friendly staff - helped with lending us an iron and a kettle (items which should have been in a hotel room ideally). Chose Berlin Mitte because of location, near M29 bus and U8 U-bahn, which suited our plans. It is a good location for exploring Kreuzberg and more central neighbourhoods. Rooms are very, very small, and website photos are deceiving - we selected a larger room with terrace and it was still very impractical. No wardrobe to hang clothes, and no work-tops/storage area for luggage. Just a few hooks/pegs for clothes, and no additional coat-hangers available. Bathroom tiny and nowhere to store anything - not even a heated towel-rail. Breakfast space very cramped and poorly managed (1 coffee machine and no DECAF for the entire hotel!) and tables too close together - either get longer tables or space them out - lots of couples occupying 4-seat tables) - not a relaxing experience each morning. The Motel-One concept appears good on paper, but is not actually that cheap (we paid over £170 a night at a members rate) and is probably best for just single-night stays.
Welcoming atmosphere
Very friendly and efficient staff at check-in time. There was a problem with the room keys (they were being switched over to a new system) but this was addressed very quickly. The room was clean and tidy, everything was there except a kettle, but this is a minor point. A question though, I was in room 815 and the chair was excellent, very comfortable - what is the make of the chair please, I would like to buy one! Please say thank you to all the staff who were friendly and very helpful.

A very pleasant stay in a quiet, clean room. My service option was respected. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would have changed is that the lift should be operated with key card only.
I would prefer a bigger duvet on the bed, even when traveling alone. Small necessities could be proactively offered or displayed near the reception incase items have been forgotten by guests (toothbrush/paste, comb, etc) the free bottle of water for beone members is highly appreciated and my request of a king size bed was also fullfilled.
The Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz is very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent for getting around the city and for connections to the airport. II really liked how friendly the reception staff were, as well as the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast.

We arrived at the Motel One Alexanderplatz early to store our luggage. The staff greeted us warmly and informed us that our room would be prepared. However, it was not ready, and we were upgraded to the “One with a View” room. This was an unexpected but welcome upgrade. The hotel room was compact, clean and well-equipped. It was exceptionally well-decorated and upmarket. The hotel featured a lounge and bar on the second floor. It was unique with its bespoke decor and furniture, mood lighting and outdoor space. The service was exceptional, with bar staff greeting us and inviting us to sit. They offered a wide selection of drinks, and we frequently visited the bar before dinner. The hotel also has a rooftop bar on the eighteenth floor, which was popular and provided the same excellent service and panoramic city views. Breakfast was continental and provided a comprehensive start to the day. Overall, this was our first stay at a Motel One hotel, and it will certainly not be our last. It is an ideal base for exploring Berlin, conveniently located near Alexanderplatz. We intend to return to Motel One Alexanderplatz for our next visit to Berlin.
I have stayed here a few times since it opened and to be completely honest, the standard has been slowly, but inexorably, sliding downhill. I would describe the hotel as tired looking and in need of a major refurbishment.

Very happy with my stay. Reception services very good, both arrival and departure. My room is ideal for a business trip with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. It would be good to have a 30 second delay when you take your room key out of the power slot. Very good bedside reading lamp which I do like and is often ignored.
Nice cosy room, be even better if the AC worked (it appeared to only heat).
Good stay. Kudos to the bartender who was alone on Monday evening but handled a massive amount of people really well and served everyone as fast as possible
I had attached my bat caps in the bathroom for it to dry and it was thrown away. I had left one towel on the floor but it was not changed (it was hung at the place of my bathh cap actually). There is no fridge nor coffee machine in the room
Rooms are basic but very clean, comfortable bedding and great shower, also nice to get a bottle of water for the room on arrival. Staff were all extremely friendly, check in and out very quick and easy. The bar is lovely, comfortable seating, nice ambient music, and the bar staff were very nice. We had an excellent stay and this would be our first choice if we come back to Berlin - excellent location near to shops, public transport, and only around ten minutes from some of the attractions. Great experience!
Value for money, excellent location.
Rooms were small but clean and well equipped. We booked one room with a view which was great. We would have appreciated an explanation of the heating/cooling system, as the room got very hot so we had to choose between a quiet hot room or a noisy cool room with the window open. The other amenities were good, we enjoyed breakfast and the selection was plenty. The rooftop bar was nice and well-furnished, however we waited nearly an hour for three cocktails, with no apology. The rest of the staff were great, and we appreciated being checked in early.

I had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The service was excellent, and everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made my stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. I was also very impressed with the staff — they were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Pokoj niewielki, ale wystarczający. Wygodne łóżka. Schuldnie, czysto, codzienny serwis, cicho w pokoju. Dobre śniadania. Bar czynny do wieczora. Przyjemny wystrój wnętrza. Doskonałe położenie. Parkowanie możliwe na pobliskich parkingach (20 eur/doba). Mój ulubiony hotel w Berlinie. Przydałby się czajnik w pokoju oraz herbata/ kawa lub dostęp do ekspresu dla gości hotelowych.
Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, obsługa uprzejma i kompetentna. Numery trochę ciasne, no ale to turystyczny motel. Przyjeżdżam od lat do biblioteki (Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin,), więc nocleg w tym motelu pasuje mi wyjątkowo..

Ogólnie jestem zadowolona z pobytu, było czysto, obsługa miła, cena jak na Berlin to też niewygórowana. Jedyne czego mi brakowało to zestaw do zaparzania herbaty/kawy w pokoju lub powitalna butelka wody.

Bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny personel . To uratowało nasz pobyt. Urozmaicone śniadania , choć jedzenie przy kawowych stoliczkach super niewygodne. Dostaliśmy duży pokój ....z widokiem na przejeżdżające co chwilę pociągi S- bahn i okropne budynki . W pokoju nie było szklanek, czajnika, podstawowych informacji o hotelu. Łazienka bardzo mała bez wentylacji. Zdecydowanie nie polecam
Zawsze wybieram Motel one. Lubie lokalizacje, czystość. Dwie sprawy: Dobrze, że są szczelne okna. Nawet pokój z oknem na patio ( a dokładnie na ścianę) tego potrzebuje. Są tam przyjęcia nocne które odbijają się echem. Brak czajnika. Nawet malutki plus jedna szklanka byłby miły.
Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu w Państwa hotelu. Pokoje wprawdzie niewielkie ale układ bardzo dobrze przemyślany. Czysto, świeżo, cicho - doskonałe tłumienie hałasu ulicznego ( nawet parada równości nie dała rady :) ) Uprzejma obsługa zarówno przy powitaniu jak i przy wyjeździe. Bardzo dobre śniadanie i tam także miłe panie ułatwiały konsumpcję roznosząc pyszne Espresso. Dziękujemy! Trochę mały parking, bo cudem udało nam się zdobyć ostatnie bardzo wąskie miejsce
