It's quity difficult to being unable to order the toasts at the bar on two days in a row. Especially, because we were told that eating "externally ordered" food in the bar area.
The room was fine, and location reasonably close to the main sights. The main downside was no coffee machine or even a kettle, which one would expect in an upmarket hotel these days. I would also appreciate better security in accessing the accommodation floors, ie key card to work the lift, again most hotels have this now. There was a bottle of hand wash but no more useful toiletries such as hand lotion or conditioner that are fairly standard. Breakfast was good, loved the oat milk coffee machine! Could have done with a few vegan pastries etc given that you make a feature of vegan breakfasts.

- Booking was incorrect, we had to remind reception desk that we had paid for larger rooms. - Bed mattress was sloped and uneven - Check-in only worked for 1 of 2 rooms booked, had to remind reception to confirm second room. - Shower pipes made a loud, high-pitched whining sound each time I used it. - Room still water bottle not replaced as a courtesy, asked to buy from expensive lobby bar. This was not comparable to other brands of hotel at a similar level. - Wi-Fi dropped frequently, dreadful signal.

I stayed in Motel One for one night during a holiday trip, to break the journey between trains to and from Köln. The location was very convenient for me: right next to Messe/Deutz station where I arrived, and only one S-Bahn stop from the central station, where I had to leave the next day. Checking in was easy and quick, staff were very friendly. The room was small but had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Noise insulation was very good - with the window closed, we could not hear any noise from outside, even though we were right next to the station. The room was a comfortable temperature and the air conditioning easily adjusted. The bed was lovely - we slept very well (thanks also to the very effective black-out curtains. The gratis bottle of water was a nice touch. Check out was very easy. I didn't have breakfast or use the bar, so can't comment on those. Overall, I was very pleased with my short stay, would happily return and recommend this hotel.
I know this Motel One very well and am consistently happy with my stays there.
Greta hotel and very central to everything. Clean, employees are very friendly and the hotel is pretty. One thing is that wish the rooms were a little bigger and to have extra trowels as there is only 1. As Hotelier for 25 years, I expect minimum of 2 towels pero room. With the extreme heat I was taking 2/3 showers per day and only one towels. Also you don’t offer many bathroom amenities. Only all in one shampoo/ body wash ? No no no ! And no body lotion. Other than that, great stay and amazing to have AC !!

We have stayed at Motel One Neumarkt many times as it is our first choice when we're in Cologne. We like the location, the staff are lovely and the rooms are great. We particularly like the relaxed atmosphere in the lounge area and enjoy having a drink there before retiring to our room.

Great hotel in a good location. Easy check in, good choice of breakfast items. Staff were very helpful when leaving luggage prior to travelling home.
The location is excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Cologne and the cathedral. The room is quite basic, but it has everything you need for a short stay. However, there was a note in the room warning that the breakfast room might be too busy and that there could be thieves in the lobby, which is quite concerning. It would be beneficial to enhance security by restricting lift access to hotel guests only, as is common practice in many other hotels.

Excellent location, nice, clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Good soundproofing, hanging space (considering it was a small room that was good) and decent aircon. A few things knocked the rating and one was the paper cups. Why? Glasses please. A kettle really would have given it a 10/10.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room would make 10 points. Parking is also 20 euros per day if using the Media Park. That's expensive.
Clean, nice staff, rooms comfortable. Slept well.
I like using this network of hotels because what is most important is the consistent quality, which is always at a high level.
Installations are amazing. Buffet service and overall shared spaces are also up to standard. Only detail I'd see to improve is included parking, rather than a paid separate space
The rooms were modern and clean and the AC was great, perfect for the unfortunate heatwave. Also the location is super convenient right next to the Messe/Duetz station, which is only one stop down from Cologne Main station.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the value for money was not satisfactory given the various issues encountered. The room was clean and well equipped, though rather small, and breakfast was very good, with friendly and welcoming staff on duty each morning. However, at check-in (around 4:00 PM, after the official 3:00 PM check-in time), we were informed that the room had only been prepared for one person and that someone would bring the missing duvet, pillow, and extra towels within the hour, which we did not really mind ; but as no one had come by 9 pm I had to go down to reception myself to collect the items, without receiving any apology, even though the staff member who had checked us in earlier was still present, and having to carry the duvet, pillow, and towels myself back to the room across the hotel lobby did not really feel like premium service. In addition, at check-out we were told that the parking fee had already been settled at check-in, as the ticket had reportedly been validated, yet we were still charged €52 — for less than 48 hours — when exiting the car park.

Unfortunately, the bed linens as well as the pillows themselves had clear stains on them. The grout in the shower was turning orange and needed to be cleaned.

I am only missing 3 things: 1. a bottle of sparkling water for each guest at the room 2. a vendor machine with cold drinks in the basement or something like this 3. scrambled eggs for breakfast
Second time in motel one Köln Neumarkt, always a nice experience. Clean and quiet. It’s easy to go everywhere from there in the city.
Comfortable as always, the broken shower head and missing trash can in the room did worsen the experience tho.

The hotel was convenient enough for me. The room has everything I need, the location was perfect, the staff were friendly and hospitable. Could’ve been better if they had landlines and fridge in the rooms. But thats just personal preference. Also, the room I was assigned to wasn't completely clean, as I saw traces of a spider and spider webs. Overall, Im satisfied.

Everything was really good. Appreciated the communication about the breakfast situation. You could check the toilet in 291-sometimes it did not stop flushing. Also the curtain had coffee stain. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Excellent hotel very clean and great service. The only thing missing was a mini fridge in the room which would’ve been nice since I was there for a whole week.
The hotel was exactly what I expected from Motel One. Never disappoints. One issue was the air conditioning that kept cycling on / off, so we opened the window for cooler air.

Overall, my stay was really good. The hotel location is ideal for business travel as it is located close to the train station. Rooms could be a little bigger; if travelling with a companion, it could feel a little cramped. The reception team helped fix an invoice issue, which was a great help. Breakfast was OK — I used the buffet but didn't ask for anything extra. An omelette or scrambled eggs would usually be my choice, but I couldn't tell if these were offered.

Very nice and well located hotel. The breakfast, the patio outside where you can have breakfast during summer time and the bar looks very nice. Unfortunately we didn't have time to test. online check-in works well, but I'd suggest check-in machines to get your key card.
Staff was very friendly. The hotel and room was very clean. I want to highlight especially the noice isolation of the rooms, which is really exceptional.
Wszystko było w porządku, bardzo przyjemny pobyt, miła obsługa.
Pokój zarezerwowany był na dwie osoby. Przy check-in pojawiłem się tylko ja. Przydzielono pokój dla jednej osoby czyli niezgodnie z rezerwacją i płatnością i to do tego w pokoju o najgorszej lokalizacji. Rezerwacja przez BeOne i bezpośrednio jak widać nie jest priorytetowo traktowane. Wielokrotnie wcześniej bookowałem przez pośredników wiec doświadczenia były dużo lepsze. Sieć hoteli nie docenia starania klienta.
