The bar is a wonderful space to have a drink and hang out. The bed is comfortable although the pillows are not very good. One was incredibly thin and floppy. The view of the dim from the balcony is amazing. It would be nice to have a pad and pen, and a water bottle every day. We had an eight night stay.
This was my first time staying in your wonderful city. My choice of this Motel was that it was rather affordable. Still, this Motel was very nice, clean and with wonderful amenities. My room was very comfortable and kept clean every day. The staff is very nice, helpful and very easy to speak with. When I return to Germany, I will stay with Motel One and recommend it to my colleagues. Thank you for a wonderful experience in beautiful Cologne City. Cheers

The property is centrally located and the staff is very accommodating.
The maid entered the room without knocking on similar at 9.00am on checkout day; I think this is not acceptable, since checkout time is 12.00
The staff on the reception and at the bar were efficient and friendly. The cleanliness of my room was vey good as well. My room was comfortable and relaxing
The hotel was well located and was extemely clean. The front reception desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar staff provided good service too. We would have appreciated a larger and more varied bar food menu. Good choice of breakfast options and we didn't have to wait for more crockery or for food to be brought. Some hot food would have been even better! We went out for breakfast on our second day. A kettle in the room would have been ideal but we understand why there isn't one. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is modern and clean, but rooms very small, for a business hotel there is no kettle and no iron available. If there is no tea/coffee in the rooms, at least make them available at reception.

Our stay at Motel One Köln-Mediapark was simply fantastic. The bedding quality and overall cleanliness are always held to the highest standards, which we truly appreciate. What really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the bar team goes the extra mile every time. A special mention to the experienced bartender whose warmth and expertise, paired with an excellent selection of drinks, made our evenings unforgettable—we happily spent hours there. This hotel feels like a home away from home, and it will definitely be our go-to whenever we’re in Cologne. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!
in room 534 there is a constant, anoying technical induced noice (tickering, clicking) all day - and night - long. It seems to stem from air-tube installation or simmilar. Should be taken care of. Rest was as known and expected. Coffee could be stronger, scrambled eggs would round up the experience. ;-)
Room was quiet, clean (although I am not fan of carpet). Good location, handy parking beside hotel and get discount for being hotel guest. Staff at reception were friendly

It was a nice clean room, everything was functioning, no unpleasant smells.
Overall my experience with the hotel was good, nevertheless there are 3 things that I really didn't like. 1. The Serbian (as I overheard from a conversation) barman in the evening shifts is extremely rude. I usually enjoy having a drink in the evenings after work, but after my 1st experience with this person and that he was in charge of the bar during the rest of my stay, I decided that I prefer to skip visiting the bar, because of the lack of respect and rude attitude of this employee. 2. Any exchange by email or Booking with Katherina was a waste of time, I had to repeat the same questions several times, as she didn't read the whole emails, perhaps just a part of them as she was clearly skipping the most important points each time. It's the 1st time in my life that requesting an invoice can be such an unpleasant experience. 3. When I came back at night to my room one of the evenings, I found a huge bug on my bed. I got rid of it and it never happened again, but maybe you could consider reviewing your cleaning standars.
The room was not really clean and there was a hole in the bed linen. Other than that, everything was great.
Everything was perfect! This one at Köln-Messe is very stylish, from the outside through the lobby and the first floor with the bar area, it is nicely designed. Service and check-in were also great, just a litte note: As a member of BeOne you normally get a free bottle of water, but that was not the case, therefore not the full 10 out of a 10.

This was my second stay at a Motel One and the experience was just as positive as the first time.
The hotel and room was very suitable for my business purpose. At previous stays the costs were significantly lower per night, so this aspect was a bit disappointing.

It was functional and convenient but there need to be some improvements in terms of service and environment. 1. no free water on arrival as promised by the brand, 2. my phone didn't double up as a room key, 3. The room was boiling and no ventilation, A/C didn't work - my colleagues said the same. 4. My towel smelled of curry!
Loved the balcony but should be divided between the rooms. Should be able to make a hot drink in room!
I would have given a higher rating but three emails to the property went unanswered. When I called on two different occasions, I was on hold for a very long time and no one ever answered. I cannot recommend a hotel that doesn't respond. It's very unprofessional.
The staff entered our room first thing in the morning when we didn’t have breakfast. Felt it should not have happened. We put Do Not Disturb afterwards. Otherwise excellent service
This was my first experience with Motel One, and it was great! I was traveling with my two kids, and when my husband got sick and couldn't join us, and when I contacted customer support to see if it would be okay for the kids to be in a room by themselves, they not only wrote back to say that was possible, but also booked us in connecting rooms. The set-up was perfect for us: the kids had the larger, handicap-accessible room, and I had a smaller standard size room. I also had trouble with the safe in my room, and the manager on duty assisted immediately and then gave us an extra bottle of water for the trouble. I also accidentally locked myself out of my room a couple of times (taking my kids' key with me instead of my own), and the staff at the reception desk gave me extra keys without a problem. In short, the service was really great! My only complaint would be that the standard King room was quite small, and I don't think my husband and I could have both fit our luggage in the room comfortably if he had been there. But for just me it was perfectly fine.

Efter et besøg i den gamle bydel anbefaler vi, at du går dig en tur langs Rhinfloden. Rhinen er Tysklands længste flod, og på strækningen mellem det nye havne- og boligkvarter Rheinauhafen og trapperne på Rheinboulevard viser Rhinen sig fra sin smukkeste side. Her kan du slappe af foran en malerisk kulisse bestående af gamle gavlhuse, krogede stræder og små kirker. Måske med en kold øl eller is, eller måske endda en picnic?
Ikke langt fra hotellet finder du det romersk-germanske museum, der byder indenfor til spændende udstillinger om byens arkæologiske arv. Her kan kunstinteresserede gå på opdagelse i domkirkebyens spændende historie og bl.a. besigtige antikke mosaiksten, smykker fra den tidlige middelalder og verdens største samling af romersk glas.
