good hotel with good breakfast and friendly people (employees)
With the construction site next door, it was noisy relatively early. The improvised bar is nice but the offer is unfortunately small. The fact that you have to pay the full price for a room despite the closed rooftop bar is actually not reasonable. In this context, it was announced before arrival that breakfast would be in the same building, on a different floor. This is simply wrong. You have to leave the house and walk to another restaurant that does not belong to the hotel.
Pillows low quality, room was clean they also only left a towel for 2 people and one small blanket. They had the central heater so it got hot. Location was great, plus the complimentary coffe. They need to update the pillows.
Unfortunately the lack of rooftop bar due to fire was disappointing.
location is great, central. room was small, but it had everything i needed for a short stay. reception is rather junior (not experienced). i was offered tea/coffee at the reception - when i went down "it wasn't yet launched".. i was told to go to the breakfast/restaurant to get one - there i was told i need a chip for that (that i was not given/presented in the first place).. when i came back the coffee machine was being launched, but i was told "it will be ready only after 10 minutes". when i asked is there an iron, or a room with ironing equipment? - i got an answer that there are limited irons and none are available now and that 'i can get one in afternoon' (my meeting was in the morning.. ). bar was closed for renovation.
Selection at breakfast was poor, i was looking forward to the vegan options that im used to from staying at motel ones before
I'm sorry the terrace and bar aren't open
We booked a Queen Deluxe room and were expecting it to be similar to the photos shown when booking, particularly as the photos showed a sofa and two large windows. The room we were given was very small and quite different from what we had expected. We completely understand that rooms can vary, but the difference was quite noticeable. We did speak to reception to see if there was anything that could be done, including whether we could pay to upgrade, but unfortunately we didn't feel we were given much help. We would have completely understood if there wasn't another room available, but the way the situation was handled felt quite dismissive. There were also a few things we hadn't expected from the room, such as there being no smart TV or mini fridge. The large desk chair was also positioned in front of the small coffee table, which made the limited space feel even more cramped. We were also disappointed to only find out when we arrived that the rooftop bar was unavailable due to a fire. Of course, we understand that this was completely outside the hotel's control, but as the rooftop was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, it would have been helpful to know beforehand if possible. We may have reconsidered our booking had we known. We also didn't find the replacement bar in the lobby particularly appealing. Another issue was the location of our room on the 4th floor overlooking a construction site. We were woken at around 5:20am by trains and then again at around 6am by construction work. As light sleepers, this made the stay quite difficult. There wasn't any warning about either the train noise or construction, and because the room became quite stuffy, opening the windows wasn't really an option without making the noise worse. We also noticed an uncomfortable atmosphere at reception. When checking out, we saw another guest making a complaint and felt that the way they were spoken to came across as quite condescending. We weren't asked how our own stay had been, so after seeing this, we decided not to raise our concerns at the time. The main positive for us was the location, as it was only around a 10-minute walk to the main square, which was very convenient. I hope you can take the feedback constructively, as there were several things that could have made the experience much better.
Great location and nice room/lounge area. I was disappointed to find out that the rooftop was not open due to the fire, though.
Hotellet er på mange måder dejligt, men branden har sat sine spor. Lobbybaren har et meget begrænset udvalg og alt for lidt plads. Vi fik absolut ingen hjælp til morgenmad, nu det ikke var muligt på hotellet, receptionen eneste hjælp var "gå ud i byen og find noget" vi spurgte til deres samarbejds partners vi siden af, men beskeden var det er overfyldt - find noget andet. Da vi efterfølgende selv spurte vi der fin plads. Totalt inkompetent vejledning angående manglende morgenmad mulighed. Der var slet heller ingen kompensation for konsekvenserne efter branden. Dejligt hotel, men katastrofal reception service, hjælp kompensation mv.
We were disappointed. The room was very small, there was no closet, the stopper in the sink didn’t work, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, there was no coffee machine in the room (and the coffee machine in the lobby was not available once when I went down early in the morning) - all in all, very poor value.
Clean and comfortable

This was my second stay at The Cloud One Prague, and unlike my first experience, I am leaving very disappointed. The hotel's location is still great, and usually, the 6th-floor bar and breakfast make it worth the price. Unfortunately, the 6th floor was completely closed during our stay, which was never communicated to us in advance. This led to two major issues. Firstly, the hotel bar was replaced by a small coffee stand in the main lobby, creating a crowded and poor alternative. Secodnly, breakfast was moved to a nearby restaurant. The food selection was very small, limited, and low quality. The setup was highly impractical, with food tables placed in a narrow corridor with constant foot traffic, only one coffee machine for the entire hotel, and nowhere near enough seating for all the guests. Leaving with no advance notice, no suitable replacement, and no compensation or partial refund was extremely frustrating! I doubt I will ever stay at this hotel again.
Generally a nice hotel. However, it is not nice when the cleaning team does`t change used towels lying on the floor (as requested by the hotel) and a dirty toilet brush is completely unacceptable.
Great room, a lot of space. It would be ideal if there would be some food that we could order.
Basic room, no telephone to contact reception, room service or any mini bar, tea, coffee or water in room.
I really like the atmosphere of hotel, comfy and relax. I enjoyed my weekend there. One bad thing was I didn't get free water bottle as a membership. I felt sick during check-in time and really wanted to go to room so I didn't mention about it. I hope staff at reception should carefully ask or check the information on system, not let customers ask thing like this by themselves.
We had a group of 22 people staying. No air con. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Coffee machine was not available in the mornings (8am!). Breakfast was not very good. Terrible service at the downstairs bar, always had to wait or ask reception for someone to come. My stay was not billed back to my company, it was charged to my personal card with no notification or invoice sent to me. When I complained at reception they basically said there was nothing they could do!
Staffs and equipments are great especially the lobby but the room is little bit smaller than I expected. Location are good for the train traveller but not many restaurants nearby.
It was an amazing stay, we really enjoyed our vacation. It was sad that the terrasse was under construction, but they had completely coffee and tea as a consolation, which was a nice touch. The staff was also really sweet and helpful during the whole stay. We look forward to visit again soon.

I came to Prague for a business trip. This Motel One location is currently renovating and therefore, did not have a breakfast buffet. They made a great effort to provide breakfast with various options. I was not disturbed by the renovations at all.
Temperatur på værelset var høj og kunne tilsyneladende ikke reguleres. Morgenmadsrestaurant var lukket pga ombygning.

Hotel is nice, but there was not working ceiling light in the bathroom. In the room was very cold and it was not possible to heat it so I was freezing the whole stay, it was like 15 degrees jn the room. Also on bed was dirty mark.

I've stayed at MotelOnes in several countries and have always had a great experience. On this occasion I messed up my booking at the MotelOne in Prague - I thought I'd reserved a room for September and it turned out the booking was for back in May (in part this was down to your website which I'm afraid is not so intuitive). The excellent receptionist nonetheless found me a room for which I was really grateful given it was 22.00 on a Sunday evening! I enjoyed my stay - your staff looked after me very well.
Really decent room but given that it's missing the fifth floor, missing a bar, the rooms should have been discounted.
Did not get reciept on requested cost, you refered to that you did not have my e-mail adress, I gave it, futhermore I got this mail so that means you already got it, slow expediting in the reception, breakfast location was not optimal & very expensive, I have stayed many times in the hotel in business & booked both for myself and several collegues, but would expect much better treatment
Nice hotel, well situated, clean & tidy. Shame roof top terrace was closed
There’s no phones in the rooms. I think you reach reception, you had to actually walk down to the front desk. Also after one of the times housekeeping cleaned the rooms, they didn’t replace the hand towels. We had to use bath towels to dry our hands.

Værelset, jeg havde bestilt, var ikke tilgængeligt. Jeg fik et mindre værelse med en ganske beskeden rabat. Åndsfraværende og meget langsom betjening i receptionen, grænsende til uhøflig. Meget støj i lobbyen. Halvdårlig morgenmad.
It was very cold in the rooms, I mention this to reception and told me that they cant turn it on.
There was a Fire accident in June 2026. The Roof Top Bar an the Breakfast room were closed. It would habe nice, when you have informed us with a Mail .
A great choice, lovely lobby and staff. And the restaurant next door, Sumi Garden was the highlight of our stay. Only disappointment was the rooftop bar was unavailable.
Everything was good, other than the bad smell after using the water in the bathrooms. Our room was changed and the issue was less noticeable in the second bathroom, but it was still present. It seems like some major issue with plum ing that requires attention. Also, in the second bathroom the water was slowly going down under the shower and it was easy to make a small flood.

Rude staff, elevators that didn't work and carpenters that hold the elevator for 10 min. I was really mad at your staff when I checked in, but then you did a better job and the elevator was working again. It would be nice to have some info about what was going on instead. You didn't want to check us in before 15:00 and that is fine, as long as you give us info about fire alarm training, construction work etc. We had a schedule to follow, since this was a work trip and your rudeness and elevator problems caused a lot of stress. I also felt I was the one who did wrong, when all I did was to try to check-in. I had to go 5 floors up with heavy bags and your staff got angry on me for not want to fill in the damn registration form. You could have asked about all the info before through e-mail. Now I was requested to do it by hand. So please work on your guest service level and information to make this a more smooth stay. Specially don't yell at the guests and be rude, that not OK at all.
The stay was okay, we’ve been a motel one guest for many years and having been impressed, decided to pay that little extra for the cloud one. We arrived and were told that the bar was closed and we couldn’t get a drink, which when you’ve been travelling on planes etc isn’t ideal. It’s good that there were free refreshments made available, it is a shame this wasn’t made clear on check in as the above comment would not exist. I am aware you have had a fire but it was disappointing to arrive to the rooftop being completely shut, and the air conditioning in the room being out of action and the price not being less than quoted for these big amenities being out of action. Room was clean, good location which made up for the small gripes.

The hotel is nice and provides cost-effective accommodation in a comfortable location for exploring Prague. There is a well-connected tram station minutes from the hotel, and many lovely caffes and eateries around.
I had a really great stay – everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional, while also being discreet and never intrusive, which is exactly how hotel service should be. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a restaurant, but I really appreciated the complimentary coffee and drinks available in the lobby. It’s such a nice touch to be able to grab a coffee to go and head out into the city for a day of sightseeing. I think Motel One should seriously consider making this a permanent feature across its hotels. It’s a small gesture, but it makes a real difference – having a coffee to take with you as you leave the hotel is a lovely way to start the day.
Poor service. Not informing the guest about changing their room to a handicap room before arrival and not even at check-in shows extremely poor service quality and is unacceptable. Same goes for not informing beforehand about the facilities not being available due to the fire. I, as a guest, expect that if I make a reservation of a specific room, that is what should be delivered. If that’s not possible, I consider it absolutely bare minimum that the hotel informs prior to arrival about the problem. When asking the receptionist about the incorrect room, no willingness to resolve the situation was shown and the only thing they could do was to “offer two bottles of water”. Unfortunately, this is one of the poorest booking and service experiences I’ve had on hotels around Europe. Sadly, I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone and this will also be reflected in reviews on hotels.com and google.

The building is new, a lot of construction around , lobby very modern, stuff in reception friendly but only the guy who spoke Czech language, the another girl ( obwisly not Czech girl) was arrogant. The room was very small without fridge , AC didn’t work. The bar in 8 th floor on the roof was closed because of fire. Parking wasn’t pleasant it’s public parking and I hade to walk about 300 m on the street to get into the hotel. without any help.
Værelset er for varmt. Der bør være mulighed for at skrue ned for varmen / tilslutte a/c. Værelserne er meget små, når der skal arbejdes. Mangler tv udsendelser på engelsk. Mangler nedkølings mulighed (vand, øl, o.l).
Meget fint Hotel som ligger i gå afstand til bymidten. Flotte værelser, som er i fin stand, dog lidt små.
Vi manglede et garderobeskab på værelset, som vores venner havde i værelset ved siden af. Vi kunne også godt have brugt en el-kedel. Vi brugte ikke lounge og bar, derfor kun en middel karakter der. Manglede en hygiejne affaldsspand på badeværelset, som ellers var stort og godt med en god hylde til toilettasker.

Prisvenlige designhoteller i Prag – dit Motel One
Når du forlader vores hotel i nærheden af Prags Hovedbanegård, befinder du dig midt i byens pulserende centrum.
Prag Borg er ikke bare en enkeltstående borg, men derimod et stort og sammenhængende kompleks med talrige tårne, kirker, paladser, haver og sale. På den anden side af Moldau (set fra hotellet) troner verdens største lukkede borgkompleks over den tjekkiske hovedstad. Ud over den imponerende arkitektur kan du også beundre Böhmens kronjuveler, ligesom du i Skt. Vitus Katedralen kan se det sidste hvilested for nogle af byens mest kendte religiøse personer. Et andet højdepunkt er et besøg i den verdensberømte forfatter Franz Kafkas lejlighed.
Når det er tid til at begive dig over på den anden side af byen igen, bør du vælge Karlsbroen. Selvom du ikke er specielt interesseret i historie, kan du ikke undgå at blive imponeret over dette enestående bygningsværk.
Tilbage i den gamle bydel kan du med fordel lægge bykortet væk og udforske de små snoede gader på må og få. Hvert gadehjørne og hver plads i den UNESCO-certificerede historiske bydel er nemlig en stemningsfuld oplevelse i sig selv. Det gør skam ikke noget, at du farer vild, for det skorter ikke på hyggelige små caféer og butikker, hvor du kan tage en lille pause undervejs.
Den gamle bydel og barkvarterne
Den gamle bydel breder sig over 9.000 kvadratmeter og skifter karakter i takt med døgnet. I dagtimerne er historiske bygninger som Kinský Palace, Huset ved Stenklokken eller rådhustårnet med det berømte astronomiske ur stensikre programpunkter. Det astronomiske ur stammer fa 1410 og blev på dette tidspunkt regnet for et avanceret mesterværk.
Om aftenen lokker talrige natklubber med svedige beats og velskænkede tjekkiske fadøl, en kombination der både tiltrækker lokale og turister i stor stil. Hvis du virkelig vil lære hemmeligheden bag Prags store popularitet at kende, bør du dog sætte kurs mod kvarteret Vinoradska. Eller den centrale bydel Nové Město, der trods betegnelsen "den nye by" faktisk er 600 år gammel. Skal det være mere alternativt, er den brogede bydel Žižkov et godt bud. Besøg f.eks. Nákladového nádraží Žižko, der er et kombineret kunst- og caféprojekt i et nedlagt jernbanedepot. Andre højdepunkter i Žižkov omfatter de mange lokale barer og pubs.
