Excellent location, fair prices and warm rooms. Attitude challenges amongst the staff at the bar/reception. But it is a busy place.

The location of Motel One Lübeck is unbeatable. The room was nice and clean, although it felt a bit small. We took advantage of the bar/ lounge area, which was also quite cozy. It would have been great to have a larger selection of food or snacks. All the staff at the Motel were very friendly and accommodating.

It was a convenient, comfortable and clean hotel
A very good experience overall and I would stay again. Beds and bedding are top quality for a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast selection could be wider and there was some confusion at check in which should have been avoided had an email sent well before we arrived been acted on. Staff dealt with the problem well though and quickly.

The location on the market square was great. My single room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was firm and the bedding was very nice, smooth cotton. Lots of pillows! I was surprised to not find a telephone connection of some kind to the front desk or for room service. What would I do if I fell in the bath or needed help in a medical emergency?
I traveled with my wheelchair dependent daughter and the adapted room is perfect. The bedding is excellent, as is the breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre. All this for a very affordable price.

The staff was very nice. Room was clean, also the shower/bathroom. For a full week stay however a small wardrobe or so would have been nice; there was basically no room to store clothes, apart from a few hangers and boards that were too high up for a small person. The location war great in the centre of Lübeck, though the street was too loud to sleep with windows open (which is not the hotel's fault; the windows are quite sound-proof and the hotel itself is also pretty quiet).
Personalet er meget hjælpsomt og venlige. Rengøringsstandarden er meget høj både på værelserne og i receptionsområden, hvor man spiser morgenmad. Morgenmaden er rigtig god, økologisk og indbydende.

Even if for short, my staying at the hotel was really good! Top location in the city center.
The Motel One in Lübeck is directly in town so shops, museums & restaurants are walking distance. The hotel is very nice and clean but the rooms are rather small. The staff are all extremely helpful and the selection in the lobby bar is good.
The front desk personnel were very professional, friendly and efficient. The breakfast service was also very good with many selections available. The bar service was also great. i enjoyed the 24 hour opening hours.

Lovely Hotel but rooms/bathrooms are so small you can hardly stand up a normal sized suitcase (no unpacking possible either as minimal shelf space). All modern, clean, well laid out though. Great staff. Would stay again & highly recommend.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Hooks on the back of the bathroom door..a shelf for little things in the bedroom..a UBS point that was very handy for charging a mobile phone. All these were plus points. However I did not like the seating arrangements for breakfast and the layout of the breakfast items. As there was no separate dining room the breakfast was laid out across the lobby and bar/lounge. The individual tables with seats for seats for 2 or 4 persons worked well when being used to cater for drinks and snacks in an evening bar environment but were far too small to accommodate a range of breakfast items. Also the breakfast items needed to be collected from a haphazard arrangement of stations around the lobby area. For example coffeee needed to be obtained from a service area next to the elevators where guests were exiting with suitcases and needed to pass between guests waiting to collect a coffee from the coffee machine..hardly ideal! I noticed one long table where approx 18 guests could be seated more comfortably.. but hardly enough places for a hotel that can hold approx 150 guests. The lounge/bar had a great vibe in the evening but sadly this was lost in the mornings. Breakfast should be a stress free experience to set you in a positive frame of mind for the day ahead. For this reason my travelling companion and I agreed taking breakfast at a café outside of the hotel would be a better option for us and this proved to be a more relaxing experience. This is why you lose 2 marks and score 8/10. However the overall concept of Motel One is first class. I will use you again and have already recommended you to friends here in the UK. My best, JC

The temperature of shower in the morning chandges sometimes suddenly. Cleaning staff enters the room by surprise, second electric card has disappeared after room cleaning. For breakfast have to wait 1 hour until i could find a place.

If you do not provide coffee in the room please make ot easy to purchase one in the bar. On two occassions in the afternoon I waited to be served with two coffees only to wait for ages as only one member of staff arlund the bar and reception and on both occassions decided to put our costs on again and look elsewhere. Otherwise good.
Having stayed at Motel One Lübeck a couple of times, I think it's fair to say that your setup for breakfast doesn't work – at least not in the winter time, where everybody have to sit inside. The very limited number of seats makes 'impossible' to have a seat for breakfast, and even more so if you are more than 1 or 2, who would like to sit together. One of the things that works really well at the hotel – the cosy lobby environment and furnitures – also ends up making the lack of seats for the breakfast worse than it could have been, because people stay seated for a long time after having finished their breakfast … because of the cosy environment.
I made my reservation via e-mail, not through the website. I was told that I could not use the breakfast code sent to me. I had to add it for reservations made through the site. I expected help in this matter, but he was very strict.
Excellent , superb location. Fine and clean. Good breakfast. The only scratch is that during winter, the seats outside in the courtyard are not in use, and that gives a problem with finding a seat for breakfast which is served in the lobby.
Værelset var lige et nummer for trangt. Der var ingen steder at gøre af bagagen og badeværelset så småt at håndklæderne måtte hænge i brusekabinen. Vi skulle heldigvis kun være der en nat, så det gik, selvom man skulle kante sig rundt. Det var travlt i receptionen da vi kom og kun en til at tage imod. Receptionisten var venlig og rar. Og selvom hotellet ligger midt i byen var der ingen larm, som man ellers kunne frygte.
