Very nice hotel and reasonably priced
The beds are very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.
staff mostly extremely friendly; cleaning staff seems to be understaffed and it shows in the (not) cleanliness of some areas, forgotten tasks (left the trash behind,...); breakfast very good including a vegan selection

Thank you for providing such a friendly and attentive team during our recent stay at your hotel. This is our first visit to Salzburg and to your hotel, and this was such a great and pleasant experience. As an added note, we have been loyal Motel One guests during our many visits to Europe, including staying at your hotel in Barcelona, Vienna, Amsterdam and Brussels. I look forward to visiting you again soon.
everything was fine
Great location, friendly staff. Clean hotel. We didn't have breakfast as we thought it was expensive. The outdoor seating area was very nice, specifically as the weather was gorgeous while we were visiting so we were able to sit out with drinks. Our only complaint was that on one evening we were kept awake until the early hours by very noisy guests outside, we did mention this to the staff but they could only suggest moving us to another room, this didn't suit us as were going home the following day. I expected the hotel to have some sort of curfew but apparently not.
V relaxing, quiet hotel. Room was comfortable, and staff were friendly.
Competent and friendly staff; very functional hotel in terms of space layout, with clean and comfortable rooms.
The room was small, the air conditioner didn’t work and the motel was not conveniently located to the downtown area.
Workers started drilling and hammering at 7am in the morning while other guests played loud music till 5am. Didn't get much sleep. Guy at reception was nice and really trying to help though; so props to him.
The room were very neat and the staff are nice. I like the overall color and ambience as well

Rooms and service are excellent, only breakfast is a little poor.
This was our first stay, and we will be very happy to stay here again. Everything was well organized, pleasant, and clean, and we will recommend it to others. The staff was extremely helpful, and this made our stay extra special becasue we were from out of town.
Room temperature was very high, even I set up thermostat on 17 °C and the bathroom was +5°C warmer then the room, so all of my solid state cosmetics melted. Breakfast was very poor, with no warm food.
We were allocated a room which was not make up upon checked in . Went to front desk for a new room again . 10 mins later while sitting on the bed, the ceiling light fell off onto the bed and gave us a fright. Luckily no injury. We were compensated with 2 breakfast vouchers for the unpleasant experience
Nice hotel in the south of Salzburg. You can reach the inner city within 8-10 minutes by bus. Breakfast was very good!

A little further walk to the main town area than anticipated. Construction made it a bit difficult to get to the parking.
Overall it was a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were also clean. The only complain I have is probably that they lack some equipment e.g. electric kettle. As we're traveling with a toddler, we always need hot water every night. The staff was very helpful and always provided this to us, but it would've been easier if we at least could borrow a kettle and bring that to our room. Also we had some leftover but we were not allowed/refused to reheat that at the hotel. It's a good hotel and location is good, but seems to be more oriented toward business/individual and not family.

Excelent. It was my second stay at the hotel, and I plan to repeat in my next visit to Salzburg. All personal staff (reception, cleaning,..) we’re all super nice, polite, and helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The room was very basic for the price. We were on the top floor and could not even look out of the window. So overall we felt the room rate was not justified.

Lægger godt iforhold til at kommet ind til centrum af Salzburg og med bil ind og ud af byen når man ankommer og rejser igen. lidt trængt med plads til morgenmad som er rigtig god og kan anbefaldes.
Location is good and hotel is fairly basic but nice and clean with decent bed. Disappointed with the welcome at reception given and lack of friendliness and breakfast could be better - even a toaster so that we could have something hot - felt like we were eating in the hotel foyer as we basically were

Fabulous place to stay! Close to everything, parking in the back, great views of the river, and comfy beds! Great lounge area too! Love the Motel One chain.
Room was clean, but shower looked dirty or worn out on bottom. No bag in garbage can also made me question cleanliness. Breakfast was not worth it.
Convenient for railway station & the city. Pleasant walk along the river. Everyone was very friendly & courteous. Comfortable room, great nights sleep. Plenty to eat at breakfast. We enjoyed our stay
It was easy to find from the train station. The location was perfect in a walkable city. We had a beautiful river view. The facility was clean and we had everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. Thank you for your hospitality.
If you are coming to Salzburg to explore this beautiful city, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel is 3 km from the city center and has excellent public transport connections. The price of the accommodation is very affordable.
We enjoyed our time at Motel One. Great friendly service and clean rooms we have come to expect. You did not disappoint me. Well done.
Overall Room quality ok as usual but we didnt get the bus ticket this time which should be included in the local tax. We were under time pressure, but still it should be provided by the staff.

Som vigtig messe- og kongresby har UNESCO verdensarvsbyen formået at opdatere sit historiske image, så byen i dag på samme tid fremstår både moderne og aktuel. Dog uden at miste sin historiske charme og tyngde. Her midt imellem imposante slotte og borge, store parker og kendte museer er det let at drømme sig væk til tidligere århundreder. Et besøg på borgen Hohensalzburg giver det perfekte overblik over byen.
Efter en sund og solid øko-morgenmad hos Motel One er du klar til at give dig i kast med den ikke helt lette opstigning til borgen. Hohensalzburg troner højt over Salzburgs gamle bydel og er den største komplet bevarede borg i Europa. Borgen er byens vigtigste vartegn.

Selvom du besøger Salzburg uden for festivalperioden, sover byen bestemt ikke vintersøvn af den grund. I stedet trækker de lokale ind i de hyggelige værtshuse og barer, som byen er så rig på. Barerne er ikke samlet i et bestemt kvarter. I stedet ligger de strøet ud over hele den gamle bydel. Hvad der på kortet måske ser ud som en større udflugt, ligger i virkeligheden kun et stenkast væk. Efter en munter aften i byen kan du slentre hjem til dit hotel og din behagelige seng. Forhåbentlig spiller Mozart sød musik til dine drømme.
