Nothing to criticize, great location, bar, breakfast, all good
The room was still great as always. Your lounge area is a little worn and the lighting and furniture not as modern as other Motel Ones. WiFi weak. The location was perfect. If we’re in a city with a One we’re staying.

Excellent very much needed stay for one night.
Hard matress, uncomfortable pillows, too much noise at night from the trams. The towel hanger in the bathroom is broken, but still stays attached to the wall.

In general very good. Just a kettle would be good. Great breakfast in Bio. Just some fried or scrambled eggs missing. Great breakfast location.
My third stay, always enjoyable. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A great place to stay in town.
Clean and centrally located. We enjoyed our view of the Cathedral spire.
We are Motel 1 fans, but it was very crowdy this time. Room: everything ok. Don’t make them smaller ;).Lobby: Enough places to take a seat though not all comfortabel to have breakfast. Cleaning at Breakfast could have had more helping hands. Great you have quit a lot plantbased options and super Bio Wines on the list! Last suggestion: it would be nice if you did not have to pass a corridor of smoking people before the entrance. I FORGET MY PHONE CABLE. ROOM 212 LAST MONDAY. CAN IT BE SEND TO MY HOME ADDRESS? WOULD BE WONDERFUL:).

Best hotel in Germany
We forgot something in the Motel One Freiburg and the team took excellent care of it, having it ready for pick up a few days later.
Great hotel. I stayed here ( and two other Motel One properties) on my most recent trip to Barcelona, Zurich, and Freiburg. It was fun to stay in the same hotel in different cities because I felt at home. Thank you for such a wonderful part of my trip! Oh, and the hair dryer was really good.
The most unfriendly staff we’ve ever encountered in a front desk. Zero help, information or guidance when asked basic questions about the surrounding areas. Offering one bottle of water per room per stay is cheap!! Other hotels with similar rates offer free bottled water throughout the stay. Cleaning staff did not knock before opening the room, even at 9am on a weekend or a public holiday. Felt like an invasion of privacy. The only good experience during our stay was the bar on Sunday evening.
Lovely stay. Staff friendly, perfect location and comfortable room.
Only one problem: Parking by Motel-One. I tried to, but even if there were some places I was enabled to get in. They told me they were reserved, but I did not now I had to reserve a Parking place by Motel One. Anyway, the rest was Ok.
The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. My only issues are that the water isn't hot enough when using the shower in the late evening (I had it set to max and it wasn't that hot), and that the breakfast is very expensive for what it is (it's very good, but not worth 17€).
Rundfunk gut
Excellent choice for a short stay in Freiburg! Friendly team, very nice atmosphere and modern rooms. Rooms are on the small side but everything went well, I highly recommend this hotel :)

Everything was fine, but - offering us a silent situated room and then give us room nr. 211 (which is directly within earshot of the garbage collection that starts at 6. a.m.) is really ridiculous. Please avoid this offer in connection with a quiet room in the future for other guests.
I am afraid that I found my bed very uncomfortable and was kept awake by back ache every night. (I stayed 5 nights) I have never left a bad review before anywhere.

Still the connection of the TV with Android devices doesn't work, I pointed out this issue many times. The software on the tv makes the tv displayable, yet after the pin code the connection never worked, I tried with different devices y many stayings and rooms, never worked.

The hotel is very quiet at night. The reception was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The breakfast buffet was good and sufficient. It was also attentively served. The hotel is 5 minutes from the city center. The room was very clean and tidy.

Great location, easy access to the town centre and public transport. A mini bar fridge and being able to make coffee in the room would be a great improvement. It was hot and the aircon could not keep up so any drinks in the room ended up being warm.

På vores Motel One Freiburg glæder vi os til at tage imod dig – uanset om du planlægger en miniferie i Breisgau, naturoplevelser i Schwarzwald eller har et forretningsmøde i Freiburg i kalenderen. Vores One Lounge er indrettet som en egnstypisk kulisse med billeder af vinmarker og sølvværker, hvilket danner en harmonisk ramme om vores sunde og velafbalancerede morgenbuffet. Illustratoren Tillmann Waldvogel viser os herudover livets gang i byen, både i loungen og på værelserne. Schwarzwald er som bekendt kukurets hjemstavn, og derfor har vi selvfølgelig dedikeret en hel væg til det smukke håndværk.
Er du i Freiburg i forbindelse med arbejde, vil du sætte pris på hotellets workbenches og mødefaciliteter. Efter fyraften kan du slappe af i baren, der naturligvis har et stort udvalg af lokalt producerede kvalitetsdråber på vinkortet. Eller du kan slå dig ned i vores hyggelige outdoor lounge med en afslappende drink under åben himmel.
Byens vigtigste vartegn, Freiburg Katedral, befinder sig ikke langt fra hotellet. Herfra kan du udforske den gamle bydel ved at følge de mange små kanaler rundt i de smalle gader.
