not convinced the re-branding was a success. Most prominently, I sadly miss the friendly, competent, and helpful staff of the old Motel One experience. S9nt know why this complete replacement was necessary. The new batlr is ok, though less of a unique experience. The rooms are neaat, yet the window frames are rotting away as before. Don't miss the carpet, the situation is still extraordinary. The IT system is a mess. When will I be able to get this digital key for Android I have been promised for a year now?
Lovely clean hotel. Very close to Wien Westbahnhof and underground trains.
Godt værelse, lækkert badeværelse med økologiske produkter, fed lounge og meget serviceminded at man kunne efterlade baggage før og efter udtjekning. Alt det til en rimelig pris!

Please ensure that you send out invoices per Email automatically. I stayed with you twice already and both times I had to remind the reception several times to send me an invoice. The data was already saved in my account and we crosschecked it during my check-in process.
Nice, friendly and helpful staff, in reception aswell in lounge bar and during breakfast time. Clean room, nice big windows. Hotel had good value for the price, solid and decent nad good interior design. Nothing luxurious, but i didnt expect that either.
Accommodation was ok - there needs to be a slim desk / sideboard in the room with a small chair - you need somewhere to place items from your suitcase - I had to put everything all over the floor - this is not good

nice place in front of the main station of Wien.
Workers putting up deck outside the window starting around 7 every day including saturday is not acceptable, please consider have workers to delay all noisy work (requiring any kind of power tools) to after 8 when you depend on people wanting to stay and get some sleep at your hotel.
Quick and easy check in, followed by friendly and supportive hotel personnel.
Was alright for the price I paid, I don’t know why I was given two blankets instead of one big one and the pillows were stiff
Renovation during stay adversely affected normally effective services, e.g. getting extra hangers, toilet paper or glasses in room. Also, 24,50€/person for breakfast was excessive and not good value compared with last year’s 17,50€. After 1 breakfast, better value was found elsewhere
Absolute value for money!! Very nice place just accross the main station of Vienna. Very helpful, smiling and proactive staff. Very friendly to Foreigners.. The staff went out of the way to explain us the main tourist spots. Very clean, new and well maintained property! Thank you Motel One for making this beautiful Austrian memory for us! Regards.

This is my fifth time staying here. Consistently great service, fantastic staff, comfy rooms, yummy breakfast! It can get busy but the staff is super attentive and extremely helpful. Great place for groups! Highly recommend this Motel One!!

All perfect! Nothing to complain about. I congratulate all the workers who served us, especially those who managed breakfast so well and cleaned the buffet area (Claudia and her colleagues).
Staff was great. Food was good. Room was spacious overall. TV was super slow and I couldnt link it to my mobile device. Air in the room didnt work too. Bathroom was great.
Lovely, clean hotel in very close proximity to the station. Staff have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a lovely gentleman receptionist allowed us an early check in as there was a room available. I forgot to ask his name. The bar is lovely however a suggestion from us would be to provide a few higher seats as the chairs are quite low. A kettle would also be great in the room however we were aware before we came that there wouldn’t be one. Would definitely return to this hotel and would fully recommend. Thank you.
Fantastic location; very friendly staff
I like your concept, rather simple, but efficient and guests get everything what they need. The only thing I was missing was international news on tv. Maybe I just did not know how to operate the room tv.

There was construction going on at the hotel and things were limited. The room also has a funny smell to it. The drain in the bathroom sink was clogged. But overall the staff was trying to be accommodating.
I have been a fairly regular visitor to the Motel One Wien-Staatsoper over recent years. I have valued the excellent central location, the vibrant visual decoration, the functional efficiency of such things as the Wi-Fi and the shower, the views from certain rooms, the speed of check-in and check out, and have never worried overly about the lack of certain luxuries to be found in other hotels, for example a fridge in which to keep food fresh, a more extensive breakfast, and more space to put away clothing or leave suitcases out. In my recent trip two things should also be added - one I was extremely disappointed not to have received any note in advance of the extensive and disruptive work going on in the public spaces, as well as the smell of fresh paint elsewhere. I think it would have been not good but essential customer practice to send me a message in advance apoligising, even down to small matters like 'when you walk in you will find the temporary check in area to your right hand side', 'allow us to offer you a drink at the bar to make up for the inconvenience' etc. I think you really missed something important there. On the other hand I want to really point out one employee to praise hugely for helping me with a certain problem that I encountered whilst picking up my luggage on Friday 27th of March at 2pm. As I was leaving the hotel unfortunately I placed my mobile phone down on a sofa and walked off without realising. I realized very soon that I had lost my phone and that that would have been where it was lost, went to reception where I was told that nobody had handed a phone in, and of all the people that I went to talk to in the hotel about this, there was a young lady in your team (dark hair), who was unbelievably helpful, and went through all the right things that should be done in this case - to get me to look carefully in my luggage, to think carefully about when I'd last used the phone, to actually go to the front desk and ring my phone number to see if it answered. I was extremely impressed with her help and I really hope that you will make a note to thank her from me for that, and hope that you value her service. The other person who was extremely helpful was a workman - dark hair, medium to tall with a white overral on - I asked a number of the workmen if they'd seen the phone anywhere and he thought that he may have seen one and then went to talk to a couple of the staff about this, and they said yes one had been sent back to the front desk - this was invaluable because when I originally had gone to the front desk they said that no phone had been found I cannot tell you how much help the young lady and the workman gave me, and really want them to be thanked.

- checking in didn’t meet your standards which I’m used to ( attitude and performance ) - always dimmed lights at reception desk; not inviting - location, people working at the bar and at the breakfast counter were wonderful incl. the person at checking out
It is hard to judge the hotel properly as it was being refurbished during our stay. However, the room was comfortable enough, just lacking tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning. The cleaning was done very well each day, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. But we would stay there again, if only to see how the alterations turned out.

Booked via booking.com 2 rooms with breakfast but upon arrival I was told I need to pay extra 17$ a day per person. Stuff are so unfriendly.Manager was rude and told me to address any issue to booking.com. Rooms are extremely small , didn’t have closet or any space for clothes or basic items that always provided at any hotel like shampoo, conditioner, iron , kettle and safe for valuables .For the price we paid you can found better options for sure . Safe your money and comfort and look for other accommodations.
Clean and comfy room. Lack of small fridge in the room and parking that is optional (payed, no reservation option) is what could be better.
I had 2 nights, one business, one privately paid. I asked at checkin to separate the invoices, that was agreed, but I got one invoice with both nights on it, and so far no reaction on my query to split the invoice, neither by email, nor by phone. This is very disappointing, as overall I was happy with my stay. the only suggestion I would have is to replace the paper drinking cups with glasses.
Nice hotel very cosy! Nice location near the central station, very convenient for Business trips. Maybe rooms and bathrooms should be a little bit larger…
To much noise from the restoration, 06.15 in the morning ekstremely noisy, lasted 1 hour. No cleaning 1.day . Reseption untidy, too much not ok this time, unfortunately. To pay full prize under this condition is not right. Motel One Statsoper has been my favorithotel in Wien, no longer. I wait for apologise and compensation.
Hotel booked over than 6 month in advance to attend Vienna opera for wedding aniversary, but surprise,surprise - at arrival hotel was under renovation and overbooked. After discussions they found one room but our friends were relocated to other hotel in Vienna. Next suprise - at arrival paid for hotel +full breakfast, but in next morning - breakfast is not available due to renovations. So question is why at the moment of payment nobody informed us about this? Resolution was found at checkout and breakfast was refunded. And breakfast in nearby caffe was lovely! And just additionally - removation means dust also in rooms and for no iron/board available to prepare for opera in evening.
Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. My only remark is that the button of the toilet in our room was partially broken.
The room is clean. All services that you expect are reasonable and enough.
Alt tilfredsstillende fra morgenmad til rengøring. Vi har besøgt jer før og vil gøre det igen.

Super pænt sted, rigtig god beliggenhed, Hjælpsomme medarbejdere, kommer ikke til Wien igen, men helt sikkert et Motel One, i en anden storby
Beliggenheden er perfekt og værelset er som forventet. Der er rent og pænt og personale og venligt og hjælpsomt.
Hotel: Som helhed, helt OK. Reception: Helt fin, venlig betjening. Værelse: Standardværelse, MEGET lille. Mangler skabs-/hyldeplads. En el-kedel og lidt kaffe/the kunne godt bruges. Badeværelse, helt fint, pænt og rent. Morgenmadsrestaurant: Alt for lidt plads til så mange spisende gæster! Ekstremt kaotisk!Siddepladser med med dybe stole/sofaer og bitte små lave borde, dur ikke til at spise morgenmad ved! Der bør være flere pladser med "rigtige" spiseborde og spisestole. Bar-/loungeområde: Ganske fint. Alt for lave/dybe lænestole/sofa - man kan slet ikke nå bordet, med mindre man sidder helt ude på kanten af stolen/sofaen! Lidt forvirret tjener i baren om aftenen. Men alt i alt et OK ophold. Jeg vil dog lige nævne, at det var bedre på Motel One, Wien Staatsoper, hvor vi boede sidste år i maj måned sidste år.
