Very nice, clean, perfectly placed and with friendly staff. Would be even better with a little fridge and wardrobe in the room.
The only complaint we had that the rooms were little bit to small, we would also appreciate the shower with closed door instead of partially covered glass. The kettle with few bags of tea/coffee would be also appreciated so we will not go to the bar after the long day out. Generally design of your hotel focuses on guests staying overnight and doing stuff outside all day, we stayed four days and we sincerely think that for guests staying several days you should provide little more space, at least comfortable chair in every room (my sister has only round stool) and bigger racks with more hangers (there was no space to dry slightly wet clothing). Overall we appreciate helpful staff and nice common area on the main floor of the hotel.
Clean, modern and very close top the city center
Hairdryer did not work in room, it would have been nice to have a kettle and cups.
We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, especially because it is very close to the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The staff( all of them )were very friendly welcoming and helpful. Two members of the reception team were particularly outstanding. They made us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the area. Thank you all again for everything.
Rooms and stuff was almost perfect but I think a small fridge is missing from the rooms

Hotel bed comfortable, slight smell in room, no facility to mske coffee/ tea, no telephone in room no water provided for t room.
After having stayed at multiple Motel One hotels, I was a bit underwhelmed. The bar area looked less inviting than other locations. Also, the room felt very simple. In addition, I felt the charge for breakfast was high.
We booked a room for two people for three nights. Instead of checking in at 15:00, we informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving around 9:00–10:00 in the morning, after travelling by night train. We called the hotel beforehand, and the staff confirmed that they had made a note of our early arrival in their system. When we arrived, exhausted from our journey, we asked if we could check in. We were told that no rooms were available and that we would simply have to wait until 15:00. When we explained that we had contacted the hotel in advance and that our arrival had been noted, the woman at the front desk showed no understanding or willingness to find a reasonable solution. After around half an hour of discussion, they finally offered us a room for one person. We were two people, so this was obviously not an adequate solution. We were told that we could get a proper room after 15:00. The entire situation was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. We had contacted the hotel in advance specifically to avoid this kind of situation, yet nothing had apparently been done with that information. After a long journey, we expected at least some understanding and an effort to find a suitable solution. What made the experience even worse was that there was no compensation or any meaningful gesture from the hotel for the inconvenience. We were simply expected to accept the situation, despite having informed them in advance. Overall, a very disappointing experience and, in our opinion, a serious lack of professionalism and customer service.
Clean, modern, had quiet room. Good air condition and comfortable bed. Lower pillow as alternative would be good, only high pillows provided.
Great hotel if travelling by train, nice and handy. Room was spacious and price was great. Easy bus or train to centre.
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was in prestine condition and the shower drain wasn't clogged, unlike numerous other hotels in the same price category.
Very Nice! Renovated with new modern fixtures! Nice modern bathroom and room. The rooms are small so be prepared! Book the largest room if possible!! You won't be happy with the smallest room. Everything else is great. Lobby are is new and modern with nice Cafe/bar. Very close to Old town and easy to get to everything. Metro steps away from hotel. I would recommend if you are okay with a smaller room. My husband and I travel abroad frequently so we if I like a place its says alot 😉
So fresh and so clean and a very good location.
The gentleman and the reception need some training. Busy on his private phone will inchecken guest...is not very nice. Not knowing how to make a proper invoice. Later I asked again and this friendly lady give me the proper invoice and was very friendly. Water pressure in the shower is very low. That makes it difficult to shower. Location is great, and breakfast was very nice and friendly staff.
This accommodation was not what we were expecting. That is not the fault of the Hotel, more what our agent booked for us. A comfort room was nowhere close to what we expected and are used to. A bedroom with bathroom and little else was just unsuitable for our wants. The room may suit the more upmarket backpacker customer, but not someone looking for more than a just a room. After registering in, and entering the room, we immediately decided to relocate to somewhere more suitable. We kept the booking active as a 'plan B'. Travelled back the next day to check out - effectively stayed 0 nights at the Hotel, but used 1 night (of 7 booked). To reiterate, this Hotel aims to cater to a distinct guest 'class'. We were not of that class.
The hotel was perfect except for missing room facilities like slippers , coffee machine and water
Generally I liked our experience with the hotel and certainly recomend to everybody. However there were a few details which could be somewhat better. Liked the welcom bottle of water, but especially with extreme heat would be better to put it in the room instead of needing to pick it up at the bar. Information during booking on the website could be more clear, for example more noticeable that room has airconditioning. I also do not like the app. I booked two rooms under my name and it was not possible to check status of both or put both in the application. Finally check-in times should be on clear sign at reception desk and in emal communication. And finally, in my room airco didn't work very good.
The Motel Overall is nice - The AC did not work - and this was horrible. too hot to sleep in the night :(
The staff at the hotel was excellent, but the maintenance people tried to convince me that my room with a broken air conditioning system (515) was working just fine. The hotel management gave me an upgrade (571), and my new room had air conditioning that worked perfectly. When it's 40°C outside, you cannot try to pass off rooms with broken air conditioning to guests; you have to take those rooms out of inventory. It should not be up to a guest complaining for you to react. This is unacceptable.
I loved my stay! The only thing that bothered me was that there wasn’t a fridge in the room. A special thanks to the receptionist, Rayan, who made my stay much more comfortable.
Located central of Wien and really close to the Wien central station. Breakfast was good and had an adequate amount of choices. The room held a good temperature as the heatwave struck Wien, which was very satisfactory and made the sleep much better. Would definitely choose this hotel next time and will look for a Motel One next time I need a hotel.

The rooms are very comfortable, but would be even better if they had a coffee corner. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are super friendly and professional. We didn't like the remodelled bar, the G&T menu you had before seemed to have disappeared... the digital menu is not the most user friendly, either. The decor and the atmosphere was much better before.
Everything was great, cleanliness, size or room, front desk service and also breakfast. The only comment I have is regarding getting to the property. Taxis do not know how to get to the property or close enough. When I arrived from the airport, the taxi left me on the other side of the bridge and had to walk 10-15 with luggage , as he couldn’t find a way to get closer.
This hotel is lovely both inside and outside. A quiet relaxed vibe with kind, helpful staff.
It's not what it used to be. It's still very good hotel but I have a feeling it lost something that made it special. Check-in was just OK. I had to point out twice that the room was already paid online, which was annoying. The room was fine but a bottle of water (on a very hot day) would be nice. Especially that the poster in elevator said clearly that I should get one as beOne member. Breakfast was good as always and it was great start of a new day, so nothing to complain here. All of all it was a nice stay, but I would pay more attention to details. Otherwise there is no point if choosing MotelOne if competition has better prices.
A lovely stay in an excellent location! We walked everywhere! The rooms are clean and are very modern and . An extra suitcase stand would be appreciated and somehow a bit of extra counter/storage space in bathroom. Overall, would highly recommend and would stay again. The bar staff were welcoming and friendly!

Clean and conveniently located, but a bit outdated. I first stayed at this motel when it had just opened, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, the interior design hasn't aged well and now feels quite dated.
We had a great stay at Motel One Wien-Prater. The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Although it's not in the historic city centre, it's right next to a metro station, making it easy to reach all the main attractions within minutes. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés nearby, and the staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Excellent value for money, and we would happily stay here again when visiting Vienna.
Nice hotel in a great location, close to the Opera and the main shopping street. Rayan, the receptionist, was helpful and made the check-in process smooth and easy. An early check-in was kindly offered, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and this hotel can definitely be recommended.
The room floor was not so clean (I could see on the socks becoming dirty) I asked for late check-out on a Sunday as be-one member and initially I was asked to pay (it's already the 3rd time that happens in a Motel One) I had the check-out at 2 pm, but the cleaning came already at 1:45
The hotel staff are accommodating and helpful. The facilities are clean; not a noisy environment.
Beautiful hotel! So comfortable and the most perfect location
We stayed sortly with my parents on our way back home, for a quick visit of the city. The rooms we booked are kind of small but due to the clever decoration felt specious even for someone like me that has suffered from panic attacks. The location is PERFECT everything important is like 2 to 10-15 minutes walk, so we could get the most out of our short visit to the city. The staff is really kind and helfull and I am really appreciative of the management, too! My balcony door had a unexpected malfuction that was impossible to be fixed before we checked out (we literally stayed one day), but the moment the manager was aware of the problem, contacted me immediately on our way to the airport and until we landed I had already receive a fair refund! Definately best value for money! I don't know if I'll visit Vienna, but if I do, staying in The Cloud One again is a motive to do so.

Mangler en stol på værelse... Svært at sidde og arbejde uden stol. Vand på badeværelse var brændende varmt - måtte løbe 2-3 min før temperaturan var nede
I januar 2026 bookede jeg et ophold på Motel One Wien-Staatsoper, men jeg fik, uden at være informeret herom et ophold på The Cloud One Wien-Staatsoper. Jeg forstår ikke, at jeg ikke har modtaget information om dette, før jeg mødte op på hotellet for at checke ind, da det må have været velkendt. Og tilsyneladende har jeg betalt ca. 50 % mere for morgenmaden, uden at jeg har været orienteret eller varslet om det, da jeg bookede mit ophold. Det finder jeg kritisabelt. Da vi checkede ind på samme værelse, hvor vi tidligere har boet under Motel One konceptet, opdagede vi, at mulighederne for opbevaring af bagage, hylder til tøj mv. nu var stærkt beskåret fra det sparsomme til det ekstremt minimalistiske. Det oplevede vi ikke som en forbedring i forhold til tidligere, men tværtimod. Da vi samme aften gik i baren for at nyde et glas vin, opdagede vi, at mængden af vin var halveret fra O,2 liter til 0,1 liter, samtidig med at prisen var øget i forhold til tidligere, svarende til mere end en fordobling af prisen for den samme mængde vin i forhold til tidligere. Det er helt uacceptabelt med en sådan prisøgning og er vanskeligt at opleve som andet end en decideret "turist-fælde". Da vi næste morgen gik ned for at spise morgenmad, var det meget vanskeligt at finde plads i morgenmadsområdet, da antallet af siddepladser tilsyneladende var mindre end tidligere og cirkulationen af gæster væsentlig mindre end tidligere. Da vi endelig fandt en plads, var morgenmaden ret vanskeligt tilgængelig. Vores oplelse var præget af meget lange køer til mange ting, og i mange tilfælde tomme skåle, når man endeligt nåede frem. Det var vores klare indtryk, at årsagerne til dette var, at man tilsyneladende havde prioriteret enkelhed i designet og tom plads på bekostning af funktionalitet og cirkulation, der var blevet væsentlig ringere end tidligere. For os har det betydet mere end dobbelt ventetid under morgenmaden i forhold til tidligere pga de lange køer, ventetid på grund af tomme skåle og dermed mindre tilgængelighed en tidligere. Det finder jeg helt uacceptabelt. Den håndlavede espresso-kaffe kunne jeg heller ikke længere få uden ekstra-betaling, da automat-maskinerne nu også kunne håndtere espresso. Men det viste sig, at maskinerne var udstyret med en noget billigere kaffebønne end den bønne, der blev brugt til barrista-kaffen i baren, som nu krævede ekstra-betaling oveni morgenmadsprisen. Det er svært at opleve det som en forbedring.

Godt værelse, lækkert badeværelse med økologiske produkter, fed lounge og meget serviceminded at man kunne efterlade baggage før og efter udtjekning. Alt det til en rimelig pris!
Alt tilfredsstillende fra morgenmad til rengøring. Vi har besøgt jer før og vil gøre det igen.

Habsburgernes overlegne byggekunst kommer tydeligt til udtryk i de pragtfulde barokslotte Schönbrunn og Belvedere samt byslottet Hofburg, der i mere end 650 år dannede rammen om kejserslægtens liv.
Ønsker du at dykke nærmere ned i Wiens sagnomspundne kejserhistorie, er Schönbrunn Slot med det store parklandskab og verdens ældste zoologiske have et godt sted at starte. Den stammer tilbage fra det 12. århundrede og står som landets vigtigste gotiske bygningsværk. Ikke langt fra domkirken ligger byslottet Hofburg, der tidligere fungerede som monarkiets politiske centrum.
