I came for the Bach Festival. The location was the best I could find, right next Nikolai Kirche and Thomas Kirche. However, I think the services at the hotel are very limited. There is no place to put clothes away (such as a dresser or closet) just a few hangars. No water available in the room just a flimsy paper cup for tap water. No phone in the room to contact the front desk in case of an emergency. Neither is there any laundry service offered by the hotel. No tea or coffee in the room either. It seems more like youth hostel with absolute minimal services. All this for over 200 Euros a night!! This appears to be a a hotel for backpackers and traveling sales people who live in the hotel for a day or two.
It's been quite a few years now that I've chosen to stay at your hotel during the Bach Festival. Mainly because of the location in the city center. Most of it is ok but a couple of things: It's way too stressful at breakfast in the small space where it's served. Sometimes there are no seats available. The wait staff added to the stress by clearing the table more than once before you've finished eating. It was also stressful for the cleaning ladies (20 rooms to clean for one person?!) and the bar staff. None of them expressed dissatisfaction but their body language and the waiting time at the bar in the evening said it all. Strangely enough, it was the reception staff with the least physical work who were the most rude and surly. You didn't feel very welcome. The person who stood out as the absolute most professional and friendly at your hotel was Tina. What a star. Many of us appreciated her manner. Finaly remove the carpets in the rooms. the location is superb for anyone doing the bach festival, being next to one of the main venues ( nikolaikirche ). the room was comfortable. I would have liked one smaller pillow to use between my knees - both pillows per person were very big, so this was a little awkward. but otherwise all was very pleasant. wasn't wild about the breakfast ( there is no variety if you stay for a week ) and would have liked to have more bottles of water given to me for free for this price ( 1 per day ) ..
Great location, friendly staff, spotless room and bath, comfortable bed...it was ideal for me in Leipzig.
Everything perfect, friendly staff, breakfast splendid, Helpful reception. I am a member of Motel one and hope to use it again for many years.
The room needs bedside tables and a luggage rack! Shower needs a bigger screen. Water easily spills out to the floor.

I arrived and the room was immediately ready. Everything was smooth and easy from booking via the app to check-in, check-out, storing the luggage. The employees are super friendly and quick.

Room was good, a bit tiny. I was asked if I wanted cleaning, I said yes, and the room was only cleaned once instead of daily.

It was a very nice stay. Everything was clean and the staff was super kind. Only the brakfast was a bit small.
All in all super, for the prize it is fine. BUT the breakfastarea/buffet is TOO SMALL for the many guests beetween 8 and 9.....
The TV turning on every time I entered the room was very annoying. If I turn it off, it should stay off for the rest of my stay. Or even better: it should be off by default!
Overall my stay was fine. The room was very basic, no tea/coffee in the room but what was there was adequate. The location was perfect and the staff were very helpful.
Great staff on reception, easy use of the facilities and the staff were excellent and all appeared from nowhere to serve people despite the hotel bar being overloaded after the football had finished. Room was good, the option of a twin room would've been nice but that's not a problem.

A very convenient hotel, centrally located and walking distance to Train Station. The room was ok for 1 person but for 2 people plus luggage it would be a little small. All staff were friendly and professional
We had a newer room that was nice and quiet. Still very little storage space. Clean and functional in a very central location.
Fantastic hotel stay in Leipzig. They were extremely friendly and the room was clean and as advertised. We enjoyed the bar both nights of our trip and the staff were great. They held our bags for the day after checkout allowing us to spend another day exploring Leipzig before hopping on the train home. 10/10 would stay again.
I was very happy to stay in this hotel becouse is in the center of the city, the price is good, is conforteble, clean, nice style, the worker are gentle and the cofè aerea is opeh h 24. There is only one things not good, ther'is not a laundry service, wash machine for dresses, I wood like if there is

Goood clean hotel in the centre of town
I didn't think to check that the room would have a bar fridge or a cup or, well, any of the basic amenities when I booked, because I didn't think anywhere wouldn't have such basic items. I was very disappointed. Also the air conditioning controls did nothing. The room was a constant uncomfortable 21.5 degrees, 68% humidity. Coming back from a hot day in the city needs to be refreshing, not cloying. Also curtains were impossible to close properly as the rail was so high, and no insect screens on the window so we couldn't open that at night.

Please bring back the feature to show own content on the TV, which is gone in the latest software version (as I have been told by the staff). I understand if the software stack for Apple/Google Cast is quite pricey to maintain, but then at least allow the use of the hdmi port!
The shower was broken. The curtains did not block the direct early morning light, waking us up just after 5AM. The sound insulation was no match for the church bells. We will not stay here again.
Our stay at the One Motel in Nikolaikirche was absolutely amazing!!! We had 2 rooms with balcony which we really enjoyed. The hotel is in a fantastic location, we liked the variety of the breakfast, very clean rooms, everything was great. We will come back soon.
A perfect place to stay, the only thing what I always miss in Motel-one-hotels is a watercooker in the room. Good location, very kind staff and all clean enough to feel very comfortable.
One of the best budget friendly hotels I've stayed at. The quality and friendliness of staff are way above what I have experienced at other larger hotels with double the prices. This will be a go to choice when traveling in Europe!

Rooms and cleaning is okay, but as mentioned before as I stay here a couple times a year for business: Breakfast room is way to small, had to wait again for a table, many people where looking.... Same at the bar, we left again as there was no seats free or table to stand on, we where with business people and needed to have drink in the city..... Our company suggested another hotel next time.
Great location, friendly receptionists, efficient housekeeping and nice drinks for a fair price at the bar. The housekeeper beautifully folded our PJs and artfully placed the throw pillows on the windowsill-such a nice touch.
Ideale Lage
Three comments: 1) Matresses were way too soft 2) There was a third bed made up in the room, not sure for who (we definitely did not order that) and it made the small room even smaller. 3) Parking: Staff need to be educated on how to deal with the parking in the event that no parking ticket is issued. In that instance guests now forfeit the 13 Euro discount. Not customer centric to leave the customer to their own devices trying to find solutions.
It's been overall a satisfying experience. What really stood out, though, was the warm, friendly atmosphere among the staff. They were not only professional and thoughtful with the guests, but they also had a lovely, fun and genuinely supportive way of interacting with each other. This friendliness was contagious and made the stay overall a great one.

Fin indretning af det lille værelse og bad. Hurtig checkind og -ud. Venlig receptionist. Super bar med god udsigt. Lækker P-kælder, men lidt svær at finde. Rimelig pris.

Fortsæt videre til det monumentale mindesmærke Völkerschlachtdenkmal, der hører til byens vigtigste vartegn og er opført til minde om ofrene for Slaget ved Leipzig i 1813. Du bør afgjort tage turen op til monumentets udsigtsplatform, hvorfra du har en fantastisk udsigt over Leipzig. Sæt også meget gerne tid af til at besøge mindesmærkets indre: Her ses en række stenkrigere som et symbol på krigens mange ofre. En del af dem står tavst og våger over de døde ved krypten.
Tilbage i den indre by kan du besøge den gamle handelsbørs ved Naschmarkt. Bygningen blev brugt som repræsentativt forsamlingssted for handelsmændene i det 17. århundrede, mens den i dag frem for alt tiltrækker arkitektur-entusiaster grundet sin tidlige barokke byggestil. I salen på den gamle handelsbørs kan du overvære litterære og musikalske arrangementer, foredrag og konferencer.
