This is my home in Manchester. Friendly and helpful service, handy location and all you need for a short stay. Everything the staff can affect is top-notch incl cleanliness and breakfast. Reusable cups and new hairdryers welcome. Needs work: furnishings are getting tatty and the coffee & juice are bad. Main website is VERY slow.
Staff are welcoming, responsive and friendly. The rooms are clean and well laid out, perfect for a City stay. Bar prices on the expensive side but maybe to be expected in City Centre. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast, we hadn’t realised it was continental style and not a hot, cooked breakfast. We would have chosen to eat breakfast elsewhere had we known this.
Probably one of the grimmest rooms I've ever stayed in. Thankfully, it was only £55 had it been any more, I would have complained. The best thing was that the Q-park is next door, and that would be the only reason I would return.
Hotel was fine and location was perfect. Only issue I had was housekeeping knocking on my door twice on the morning I was checking out.
First class stay and the staff were kind and helpful. Good welcome. Room was clean and perfect. An English breakfast would be welcome.
Excellent hotel providing a great central location providing high quality at a great price. The room was stylishly fitted out and had a very nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable so I slept very well and good to have temperature control as I usually get hot. Staff were wonderful- they seem to take pride in providing great customer service in contrast to some other hotels where staff look weary and don’t want to be there. Overall a great stay and I will definitely book with this company again.

Have stayed at this property many times, and have always been satisfied. If I had to find fault with anything it would that this time at breakfast the were slow in restocking empty food items.

A first time stay at this new Manchester property having used others before. As expected all excellent and as you would expect at Motel One.
Great stay as usual. Friendly staff, modern clean hotel, great room and bathroom layout and facilities. If I have one niggle, it's the plastic takeaway style 'cups'. Even when 'new to the room' they can have traces of a coffee smell to them if they've been in use for a while which means you can smell the old coffee when used for drinking water.
Overall good experience. Airconditioning not working in the night, and suddenly changing itself to heating mode and heating the room up to 25C was not exactly a great experience. If airconditioning for whatever reason is not to be used in the evening, inform your guests beforehand!
very overpriced. We paid ~£350 for 2 nights for a tiny room. Breakfast not included.

A perfect location in the centre of Manchester. Very quiet in the room despite the city centre location. Very clean.
Friendly local staff on Reception. Big comfy beds. Very busy hotel but I heard no noise at night.
Everything was perfect, as always. I really enjoy staying at this hotel and have always had a great experience. However, I noticed a couple of things during this stay that I felt were worth mentioning. Firstly, there were no toilets available at the reception, as all the toilets were out of service. This was quite inconvenient, especially as the hotel was very busy. I also noticed that when I was sitting in the reception area, there was no complimentary water available for guests. I normally see water provided in the large jug near the bar, so I found it quite unusual that this was not available during this visit. I did ask them, and they said I had to pay for it. As it was a bank holiday weekend and the hotel was clearly very busy, with a large number of people around reception throughout the day, it felt as though the hotel was not fully prepared for the increased number of guests. Aside from these points, everything else was excellent, and I continue to enjoy staying at the hotel. I hope this feedback is helpful for future busy periods.
Great location, handy access to trams and nice ambience
Low water pressure in the shower. Poor and interrupted WiFi connection. Shelf could have been better cleaned. Bar is average. I needed to ask 4 times for get the room cleaned on one day (at 11am, at 12:30pm, at 1:30 and at 3pm). Otherwise fine.

Check in was swift and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is excellent for what we wanted and the staff were all lovely that we encountered.
Hello While staff are very friendly, I was disappointed of having the “computer” allow checking only at 3 pm with everyone else which of course resulted in a past 3 checking while it is clear that rooms are ready before. Also - the water stream was super weak which was unfortunate but changing rooms so late given late check in was not reasonable for us. As members and returning guests in the chain (third time this year) I didn’t feel valued and will consider coming again. Ben
Absolutely fabulous as always. Including breakfast which we haven’t had before. On last night work up quite hot and couldn’t get the air con to work so put room as 9.
The hotel is in a great central location. Our room was small but had everything we needed and was fine for a couple of nights. It was clean. modern and comfortable. We were on the inside of the building and had windows but it was a bit darker outside because of the building shade. It was also nice and quiet. Generally the staff were friendly and helpful but one of the people on reception seemed a little stressed. The booking process, check-in and check-out were easy and quick. Would stay here again.

it was a nice room and the staff were great at helping out when i needed them, i always book room with breakfast for each of my stays, and i was told that i had not, i would not have picked a stay at any motel one without choosing breakfast, so i was unhappy with that.
I stayed on the 7th floor and there were a couple in the room between myself and a work colleague. Lets just say with the all the arguing, shouting most of the night and lets just say we both didn't gt much sleep as I imagine the rest of the floor. I think security should have removed them from the hotel as the arguing was still ongoing in the morning. I didn't feel safe in the room/hotel and would not be returing again. Great hotel. Good service. Excellent location. The hotel bar was well stocked except for beers (nothing on tap) and wines, but decent prices. We are not big fans of super low armchairs and sofas.
Toilet creaked a bit and tv did not switch off, so had to switch connection off. Test was lovely
Staff friendly and helpful. Room small but bed very comfortable. Breakfast choices wide-ranging but could perhaps do with the addition of some healthier "German style" bread.
Very convenient location, opposite picadilly station and a 5 minute walk from Canal Street. The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably sized. Upgrade to a city view and ask for a corner room! The air con is great too. Beds are big and comfy. My only request would be a fridge in the room.
The Reception was fantastic and let us check-in early. So we were able to get out straight away. The hotel is really good for the Piccadilly Railway Station and is close to prime entertainment and leisure.

Always stay at Motel One when we come to Manchester- always clean
The room was quiet and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We liked having two hand towels and large bath towels and tea and coffee making. It was good to be able to open the window. The things we would have liked were china cups for tea/coffee, a glass for teeth cleaning and drinking water.

Superhotel, altid imødekommende og venligt personale og rent og rart at være. Topklasse!
Elendig rengøring. Flot beliggenhed og god funktionel indretning samt meget venligt personale. Ok morgenmad. Men rengøring trækker voldsomt ned i den samlede bedømmelse
Super beliggenhed. Meget fint værelse og fin morgenmad.
Meget tæt på Picadilly Station. Rent og pænt. Hovedpuderne er alt for høje og hårde. Værelset vendte mod en kontorbygning kun 3 m væk, hvilket medførte, at vi havde de meget tunge og mørke gardiner trukket for det meste af tiden. Ville være dejligt med nogle lette gardiner i stedet for.
Lidt kedelig morgenmadsbuffet men ellers var jeg godt tilfreds med alt andet
