Smart, modern, clean and tidy. Everything works and the beds are comfy. I'm also glad that they have replaced the paper cups to something far more suitable.

Excellent. Modern and convenient room design, quiet room, delicious breakfast, polite staff. And so close to the rail tation. I also appreciated early breakfast (from 6 a.m.)
Excellent location, few steps away from station. Clean rooms, warm welcome, friendly staff.
Comfortable room with good air conditioning, good bathroom. The staff allowed me to check in once my room was ready which I really appreciated. My only slight criticism was that the landing carpets weren't vacuumed (level 6) so there a few bits of debris (eg a tissue and a bit of food) left after the cleaners had finished.
Excellent hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, good variety of breakfast and easy access to Manchester Airport and Picadilly Station. Will come back again!

You get what you need, no more no less. The breakfast included in the price was very good. The room had air conditioning, essential now in summer, a summer duvet, good free WiFi and was totally soundproof. Excellent location opposite Piccadilly Station. Will definitely stay again.
It was such a beautiful location. It was near the station. It was near the restaurant. It was had a very good staff member of staff very clean very polite people very accommodating especially the staff was very nice and specially the guy who served us who welcome to us on the 24th of July 2026. He was such a beautiful person beautiful inside outside. it was 16 member of family we came for a graduation and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything we had in the hotel the service everything the cleaners we enjoyed everything bits Office thank you very much.
Fantastic family stay, loved the reception and bar area vibe! Great room with air con. Lovely friendly helpful staff. I called due to not being able to book family of 4 online, no issues at all to book over phone, my kids are 10/12 and smaller so able to fit on sofa bed. I was able to leave luggage for the day after check out. So handy for train station. Thank you

A big thank you to Harry and the entire team for making my stay unforgettable. The location of Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly is fantastic, with easy access to the city centre and transport links. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh and high-quality options. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly and look forward to staying again in the future :)

I love this hotel. It is super convenient for Piccadilly station, it is very well maintained, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is excellent. The food is varied and of good quality. The room is not large but fulfils all basic needs, the design everywhere is very pleasing. And cleanliness is good. Thank you. It is my go-to when I need to stay in Manchester.
The place was very nice. Location and staff were great. We managed to check in early and they help us print some files as well
We found the room to be comfortable and well designed, especially the bathroom. We also liked the buffet breakfast. We only scored the hotel as an 8 out of 10 as the cleaning of the common areas, particularly the lifts and the lobby area was not great.
I now stay here every time I go to Manchester. The rooms are clean, provide everything one needs and are very comfortable. The breakfast choices are excellent and the front of house staff are friendly, professional and helpful. And the hotel overall is great value for money.

Great place and location, always very polite staff and efficient. Couple of downsides, no USB ports by bed and the pillows were not great. My 3rd time staying at this hotel and would definitely stay again.
Good stay. Aircon was handy for the weather. Staff are always friendly. Didn’t use the breakfast service so can’t comment.
Every thing from booking in to departing was great, the staff we’re friendly and polite, we opted to go out for breakfast as thought the cost was a little high, especially when you pay £100 for a room for a night.
I’ve stayed at this hotel a handful of times and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this most recent stay was very disappointing. From early in the morning, builders were outside my room discussing doors and screws before starting to install a fire door in the corridor directly outside. The noise was incredibly loud and far from ideal, especially after a late night. What I don’t understand is that the hotel wasn’t busy. If the work was planned, why was I allocated the room right next to it? It seems like it would have been easy to put guests in rooms away from the disruption. It’s a shame because my previous stays have all been excellent, but this experience really let the hotel down.

We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Great location, good rooms, comfortable beds and lovely staff. 2 small areas for improvement; no bedside table or shelf on one side of bed and no plug in the bathroom sink. Otherwise you would get 10/10!

Everything was fine and as expected apart from a really bad drain smell in the bathroom (room 10-25). At first I thought maybe it was just a temporary “kick back” fume but it was constant. Was going to mention when I left but there was a queue at reception and I had to leave to get a train. Staff are lovely and room very nice otherwise.

Hotel was as expected… the checkin process was painful - long queue- 2 people on the check in desk and didn’t have a rush in them… a lot of customers (10+) where frustrated… Also no one on the bar either.. either very short staffed or the staff not organised
Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, bed large and comfortable, bathroom very good, shower etc. Very little storage space in the room, tv very poor, kept cutting out on all channels in spite of a requested visit from maintenance.
Location is perfect from the train station and a short walk to the town. It is excellent if the hotel room has the small fridge for me to keep cold drinks.
Everything was great with the staffs and ambiance. jst a bit smelly in the room or mainly the bathroom.

Very conveniently located hotel; I had a nice room with a view, a tea cooker, a comfortable bed and a little table (!) (an unusual thing in a hotel nowadays). The shower worked OK (could have been a bit stronger, but then, it was on the 11th floor), and the air con worked perfectly. The only (slight) drawback: a couple of shelves or a drawer to put in clothes would be nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like you to take a bit more care is the breakfast: the coffee was simply not drinkable (and I am used to the American swill), and the cheese had a very weird taste (probably not too fresh). Otherwise: a very good deal; I continue to recommend Motel One to friends.
Poppy was excellent and greeted me when i arrived, it had been a long journey because of the heat and train cancellations, and we chatted and i was given a bottle of water, and my room keycards, i was next to the lift so that was a little annoying during the night/early hours. breakfast was lovely, as usual, you have a great selection, and checking out was brilliant, nice and fast and poppy was lovely again, the only downside of the stay, was when i came back to the hotel the door wouldn’t open, and even though there were staff inside and it was a journey around to the other entrance, but a great stay nonless, i’d happily return many times,
Unfortunately there weren’t many vegan options at the breakfast buffet

Superhotel, altid imødekommende og venligt personale og rent og rart at være. Topklasse!
Super beliggenhed. Meget fint værelse og fin morgenmad.
Meget tæt på Picadilly Station. Rent og pænt. Hovedpuderne er alt for høje og hårde. Værelset vendte mod en kontorbygning kun 3 m væk, hvilket medførte, at vi havde de meget tunge og mørke gardiner trukket for det meste af tiden. Ville være dejligt med nogle lette gardiner i stedet for.
Lidt kedelig morgenmadsbuffet men ellers var jeg godt tilfreds med alt andet
