Dead shield bug in the bed! Room also smelled a bit musty, however the bed was comfortable and did the job for one night. Breakfast was good, but not much hot food choice. Bar was very reasonably priced and very well stocked

Rooms were lovely and clean. There should be a mini fridge to allow guests to store perishable items and medications.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Motel One, Piccadilly recently. Our room was comfortable and clean, hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Our only negative observation was that the breakfast seating area is located beside a busy sliding exit door and it became very cold and uncomfortable to sit and have breakfast there. Prehaps this door could be kept closed for the short duration of breakfast times to ensure the comfort of your guests. Other than that, our review of this hotel is a very positive one. Thank you.

Did not like the pillows, paper cups and bathroom steamed up when using the shower there was no where to sit in front of a mirror to do your hair and makeup. I was expecting a proper English breakfast. On the plus side, room clean and adequate, staff very helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay: the overall aesthetic and vibe of the reception/bar area was really nice. The reception staff member who checked me in was really friendly and helpful. I really liked the room, with the bed very comfy and the shower really clean and high quality. I also really appreciated the breakfast - it was lovely and fresh with lots of variety. Even though I am British, I much prefer a continental approach to breakfast over the 'full English' approach, so it was perfect for me. If I had one complaint it was the paper cups in the room for tea and coffee, as these were small and flimsy. And no shelf next to one side of the bed - the side with the socket - was a little bit annoying. But not enough to detract from the overall rating. I had a lovely stay.
Clean but Basic Rooms - limited hanging facilities. No bedside table. Reception & bar nice but have to eat breakfast in reception area!
very friendly and welcoming staff, clean, comfy beds, quiet. would not hesitate to stay again. Only down side was snack menu wasn't available on the Sunday evening as they'd run out of toasties

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good, but the other arrangements in the room were unsatisfactory. I like to do some work on my laptop, but the only thing to sit on at the table was a very uncomfortable stool, which was far too low and had no back support. After half an hour I could hardly stand with induced back ache. The only other thing to sit on was a very badly designed chair which was equally uncomfortable. I tried sitting on that for about two minutes and gave it up as a bad job. Breakfast was not too bad, but apart from boiled eggs there was no hot choice, and no Marmite for toast. I realise Motel One is an international chain, but in an English location surely it is not too difficult to provide Marmite? You had crumpets, after all. They have Marmite at Holiday Inn, so why can't you?
Very well situated hotel. Adjacent to Piccadilly Station plus reasonably priced ( by city centre standards ) NCP nearby. Rooms are comfortable, if perhaps slightly smaller sized, and I would have appreciated some glasses in the room, however the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked very good in the morning
Straight forward booking. Across the road from Piccadilly Station. Friendly service. And the best thing was the 3PM late check-out for membership holders, which is great if you want to have a shower after completing the Manchester Marathon before getting a train home.
Very reasonable option, good access to transport, allows late check-ins. Only 2 - reasons for not giving a 10 - If light sleep and room is above tram line you will hear the tram - in 1 stay out 6, shower-room had hair left on the wall from previous occupant.

We had a great stay, hotel decor was great we love Manchester music everywhere was spotless. Staff were great so friendly Room was perfect and the bed and pillows were so comfortable will definitely be staying again we did pay a lot for the room over normal rates which was understandable due to how busy Manchester was on our weekend

A friendly welcome. Comfortable bed , clean . Enjoyed the breakfast which cost extra. A good varied choice of continental breakfast . A few other pastries would have been nice but that’s personal preference. Would definitely recommend & stay again as it’s a great central base with parking right next door at Q park & main hub tram/train station just over the tuas

Commentaire envoyé le 17 septembre 2025 séjour parfait dans un hôtel au top et une ville qui nous a charmés Avec une note de 10 10 D'abord un emplacement génial : nous avons pu découvrir Manchester à pieds dans tous les sens ! l'Hôtel est superbe, le personnel hyper agréable et disponible et que dire des chambres : très claires, bien aménagées sans être énormes, très propres ainsi que la salle de bain équipée de shampooing/douche, gel main, miroir grossissant. Le sèche cheveux est dans une housse au dessus du coin "tea and coffee" dans un placard de la chambre. Et pour la première fois en UK, il y a deux prises comme les nôtres : pas besoin d'adaptateur ! Les petits déjeuners sont très variés : pains, viennoiseries, boissons, fruits, oeufs, charcuteries, fromage, etc... avec une grande amplitude horaire. Ce qui ne va pas ? aucune idée tellement tout était parfait et c'est le sentiment de mon groupe de 7 personnes et 7 chambres...

Chambre confortable. Elle manque juste de rangements pour un séjour de 4 jours (pas d’étagères).

Hôtel idéalement situé à côté de Picadilly Station, idéal lorsque l'on arrive en avion car une ligne ferroviaire existe entre l'aéroport et la gare Hôtel très propre, personnel vraiment agréable ! Quelle que soit la demande, il se pliera en quatre pour vous satisfaire Nous y retournerons sans problème si nous allons à nouveau à Manchester

Bienvenue à Manchester, la ville de la musique ! Pour saisir le charme de cette ville du nord-ouest de l’Angleterre, il faut avoir avoir le bon son dans les oreilles : n’oublions pas qu’Oasis, The Smiths, Stone Roses et Take That y ont vu le jour. Une tapisserie avec des portraits de groupes célèbres décore le Motel One Manchester-Picadilly. Au niveau du bar, les tabourets Varier et l’ensemble de fauteuils et canapés Living Divani créent une atmosphère backstage décontractée ; des guitares électriques et des vinyles complètent le design. L’abeille travailleuse, le symbole de la ville est également invitée dans notre hôtel. Un collage photo sur le thème de l’abeille de Manchester apporte de la couleur, les chandeliers dorés Produzione Privata rappellent la forme des abeilles et des coussins couleur miel sont disposés sur les banquettes Signet.
