Perfect stay. Great rooms & friendly staff
Perfect stay again at Motel One, lovely rooms, friendly helpful staff and tasty breakfast. A great stay as always! Thank you
I stay in many hotels both in the UK and abroad. This is my favourite hotel on the planet. I could not be more enthusiastic about the experience and unfailingly look forward to coming. This is as good as it gets! ALL the staff at Reception are thoroughly professional, welcoming and go the extra mile to make their guests feel at home.
The room had a faulty heating system and would not heat the the room! The tv in the room the picture pixelated making it impossible to watch a programme comfortably Complained at reception who were fairly dismissive when I made my complaint and my request for a full refund. It’s not the first hotel I have had to complain about room heating! I would not recommend this hotel 😩
Small but cozy rooms, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Good location, staff was nice Wiew was not the best but it did not conserne me. Would have been perfect to have a mini frige to keep drinks cold but I really cant complain .
Extremely clean, comfy, central location, friendly staff, good shower. Excellent value for money.
Staff were all lovely, room was perfectly clean and adequate with a lovely view.
Excellent location comfort design and helpful reception. Thank you John for finding a map of the city!
The best one stop shop hotel to stay in Manchester for anyone going to a gig.
The server at the counter was fantastic at the counter, I didn’t can’t her name but she was there at 5 o’clock and femal on the 10th and really improved our experience
Clean rooms friendly helpful staff
Great location next to Piccadilly Station. Very clean, super comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Proper cups in the room would be good for hot drinks - thankfully I had seen the reviews and brought my own. Would definitely stay there again.
Was s lovely comfortable hotel, which made me feel welcomed from the minute I walked in to the moment I left. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.
Great value for money with comfortable rooms & good nights sleep. Staff were helpful & friendly.
Excellent value and very close to Manchester Piccadilly rail station
Reception staff super
Stayed for one night , cleanliness’s had a lot to be desired , used plaster embedded on to a towel wasn't a good sign.
Unfortunately the room was adjacent to the housekeeping office, where are group of staff proceedes to meet and discuss loudly at 8.00am The bathroom also had a pungent smell coming from the shower drain. I usually rate this chain highly but unfortunately this wasn't one of those times.
Excellent stay. Everything was clean in the room. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Ideally located for the train station and free buses into Manchester. Would definitely use again.
Checkin seamless, bed and pillows so comfortable, shower was amazing. Staff so lovely and welcoming. Only thing I would like to see is real mugs in the rooms as only cardboard cups supplied. Surely the environmental impact of using disposable cups must be a concern?
Always great here. Added bonus of a room on the top floor with great views.!
great stay for one night, clean and spacious room very close to the train and coach station
Room was boiling hot and temp wouldn’t go below 19. This is too hot for sleeping. The curtains were also very thin and let a lot of light in + a massive gap under the door.
Hotel was lovely. The location was perfect for us. The staff were very polite and professional. The price was amazing and we will definitely be staying here again very soon.
Everything is good, the location, service and facilities. Only a small thing, it would be good to have small fridges in rooms.
Always a pleasure to stay at Motel 1 Piccadily.
The Hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a pleasant stay.
Great room in a nice quiet motel! Motel One Manchester Piccadilly has become my goto hotel when flying internationally.
Well laid out hotel, excellent location for Piccadilly Station and the city centre
Great hotel by Piccadilly Station. Upscale "budget" hotel. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful.
Really very well appointed room; far better than I was expecting for the cost. Staff were perfectly pleasant and unpushy. Location was excellent.
Rooms & general environment excellent as ever but the breakfast is very disappointing & poor value
Normally a 10 but this time on floor 10 a sewage smell coming out of the toilet.I am in the property business and we get this in our empty hoses when toilet not flushed for a long time - not sure why it happened here.
Fantastic stay Staff are amazing Clean and tidy room was great shower lovely bed very comfortable
Rooms very small and all white paint is a little harsh.
Honestly I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and the rooms are large, beds are big and comfy, bathroom is a decent size and the shower is powerful with perfect temperature. The WiFi is reliable and free. The room and bathroom is always spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend Motel One to anyone. I’ve stayed in two different Motel Ones in Manchester and both have been perfect.
I’ve stayed at the hotel several times. The rooms are fine, particularly for the price. However it would be helpful to have a little fridge in the room, updated plug sockets e.g USB etc. plus a working TV and Wi-Fi. Every time I’ve come the tv doesn’t really have signal and the WiFi is very slow. There’s not much cellular signal either so making calls etc from the room is tricky. Also proper cups and glasses for the room would be helpful. The paper cups are so wasteful.
Excellent place very close to station. Clean friendly and comfortable. Great value. Never stay anywhere else when in Manchester. Wish the bar did beer on tap though and not just in bottles.
As a minimum I expect the toilet in the bathroom to be clean. It wasn't. The white toilet seat was yellow on the underside also. The TV picture was pixilated on most channels and froze every few seconds. Clearly the hotel is does not take quality and cleanliness too seriously. I won't stay here again.
The hotel was okay. But it was disappointing that they do not have a restaurant!
Excellent value for money and great location near Piccadilly railway station and tram stops making it easy to get to local amenities and beyond!
I am writing to express a concern I had during my recent check-in at the hotel. While the receptionist was assisting me, a male guest approached and requested a new key card, stating he had left his in the room. The receptionist provided a new key without asking for any identification or verification. As a customer, I find this lack of security protocol concerning. I would like to commend the receptionist for his helpfulness in recommending an alternative room when my preferred choice was unavailable. I was very satisfied with his suggestion. However, I am disappointed that I have not yet received my invoice via email, as I requested upon check-in. I prefer email invoices for environmental and organizational reasons. Due to this inconvenience, my overall rating for reception during this stay will not be as high as usual. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Excellent value for money, very clean and comfortable… All staff are polite and welcoming
Great location just across the road from Manchester Piccadilly. Room was comfortable, fresh and clean.
Room temperature very hard to control. Bathroom very cramped floor tiles loose.
I had a very nice experience, thank you. Best regards, Marta
functional room, clean & adequate for an overnight business trip. Clean although had a damp smell when you entered. Beds comfortable although didn't sleep well due to the noise of trains, traffic & trams. Would prefer to have water available than tea/coffee
After having stayed at the branch at St Peter's Square I expected an equal experience. That wasn't quite the case. The thermostat turned itself on time and again and made sleeping an uncomfortable experience. The tv didn't work either. All other expects were at the same level as the other branch.
Fantastic location, good value for the money. Friendly staff.
Room heating system is a nightmare. You can’t control temperature from the room. You have to call the front desk to adjust. If after adjusting, the temperature still isn’t right, you have to call again.
