The welcome on arrival was very poor. The guy was totally disinterested. He just said the same automatic spiel - some of which had no relevance to me. The reception desk was a mess dirty coffee cups and disorganised. It was a bad luck from my first impression. On check out, I told the receptionist the wifi didn’t work. He just told me there’s no way that could be true. This is probably the fifth Motel One I’ve stayed at and the first time I’ve been disappointed.

Everything was as efficient and well-organized as usual. Unfortunately, the shower hose attached to the showerhead was broken.
The service, including over the phone, was excellent; the receptionist was competent and friendly. The room was perfect.
Everything was awesometacular. Only problem was getting close with a vehicle to unload the luggage, since the hotel is in a pedestrian area, but there are times early in the morning and late at night to bring a vehicle nearby.
It is now the second time I have come here. Always good service, clean and nice hotel. Also friendly staff, sahib made me feel like family the previous time I visited and this time it was exactly the same. That’s why I will keep visiting again. Thanks for making my stay pleasant again!

The carpet in the room was not clean, the rest was very good. You can smell the carpet in the hallway.
Thank you for upgrading me to a room with a desk. It was comfortable. Please offer replenished free water. I did not feel comfortable going to the bar for one water allotment as I swear the hotel was full of stag parties. The staff was very kind. But it would be helpful if you had basic toiletries available. I needed a tampon unexpectedly on Sunday and the nearest shop was 15 minutes walk away. Also, please put conditioner in the shower. With long curly hair it’s a huge mess to wash my hair and not have conditioner. Thank you.
Honestly speaking, the room was not as clean as I expected, and not wide enough to open my luggages for 12 days trip. I had a problem on shower, during taking shower, suddenly shower head and horse came off, therefore I had to change my room during my 3 nights stay.
The hotel is modern clean and stylish. Appears to have been upgraded since my last visit. Great location.

For the very first time ever I have to give a negative review to motel one/cloud chain. This was the first hotel where the carpet was dirty and needed vacuuming in front of the elevators, for 3 days it kept dirty on the 6th floor. Toilet in my room 626 had piss marks running down the front of the toilet and underneath was yellow. Staff at the reception were fantastic, friendly and polite.
Unfortunately very disappointed by the poor communication We had to make our reservation by email because of our child and were unfortunately met with very slow communication. It took about a week and a half before we finally received confirmation. By that time, the discount code we wanted to use had expired by just one day. I emailed about this straight away, but never received a response. That was more than a month ago. I also tried calling around three times, but each time I waited for about 15 minutes without being able to speak to anyone, so eventually I had to hang up. As these were international calls, this also cost us around €15. When we arrived, we spoke to a very kind lady who listened to our situation and said she would discuss it with the manager. Unfortunately, she had already left by 6:00 PM. After that, we were helped by a young man who gave us our passes. When I asked him about our complaint and explained what had been discussed with the lady earlier, he seemed confused and checked the system. In the end, he offered us free breakfast for the following morning. Because he seemed unsure about the rest of the arrangements, I also asked him about the parking. He told me that this could be arranged as well and that if we came back with our parking ticket the next day, we would receive a ticket allowing us to leave without paying. The next morning, we spoke to another very friendly lady about this. She couldn't find anything about the arrangement in our file. After I explained what had happened the evening before, she told us that the young man shouldn't have promised this, but that she would arrange it for us in the afternoon. Unfortunately, when we returned that afternoon, another employee was working and he had no idea about the arrangement either. Once again, nothing could be found in our file. At that point, we were honestly quite frustrated. We had to explain the same situation several times to different employees and kept receiving different answers. For us, the problem is therefore not just the value of the discount or the parking, but mainly the poor communication and lack of follow-up. When a member of staff makes an arrangement with a guest, you would expect it to be recorded and communicated to the other employees. We did meet several very kind and helpful members of staff during our stay, and we appreciated that. Unfortunately, however, the way this situation was handled had a significant impact on our overall experience. Especially the fact that our original email was never answered and that we subsequently spent time and money trying to get in touch with someone was very disappointing. I hope management will look into the communication between staff and how guest complaints and agreements are followed up. With better communication, this entire situation could have been avoided quite easily.
There were very limited non-diary options in the breakfast. I also missed takeaway coffee cups, as I had to rush to take a call in my room. The receptionist was ok but not very welcoming. It was strange to have to pick up the waterbottle from the bar. Otherwise everything was perfect. The location is great and the views from the are are stunning.
My daughter and I had a great stay. My only critique is that the bathroom could have had hand grips for the toilet. I booked an accessible room and this is normally a standard feature. Other than that great service and location.
It's my second time staying at The Cloud One Düsseldorf-KöBogen and I've been recommending it to colleague/s. I was just disappointed this time as check-in process took longer than expected and that my room was cleaned despite hanging the "please don't clean" hanger. Because of this my cosmetics in the toilet were rearranged and potentially dropped because my blush was broken when I got back.
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The warm welcome, excellent service, great location, and beautiful bar view made it truly memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience.
To room was not the right one (accesible room) at first but after change it was better but still some handles were missing at toilet/shower room.
The room was great however there were missing towels and blankets. We were two people and only got one of each. Also the soap for showering was empty. Minor annoyances but otherwise it was a good stay and the room was clean.

Everything was excellent, thank you. My daughter and her one year old son were also staying in the hotel. It was very disappointing that she was charged 50 euros for breakfast (25 for her and 25 for a one year old baby).
Home from home. My room was very comfortable at a time of extremely high temperatures outside, reception area, lounge and bar welcoming with comfortable seats. A big thank you to the staff for being so helpful and friendly.

It was clean. Breakfast was a bit confusing. near the coffeemachine stood the vegan products. Cheese an saussage products were separatet. Cow- Milk was not sign. I missed some salmon or, fresh minced raw pork. Even some fresh eggs i missed. There were only boiled eggs. Mabe a sauna or a gym, I was not introduced. I think they hadn't. Bathroom door could stodd not open. I closed itself.

I enjoyed my stay. Most importantly, the rooms were very clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the staff helpful, friendly and professional. If I would have to give one area to improve on, it is the fact the bar is very pretty, but not suited as a breakfast location - the majority of the tables and chairs were lounge sets, not designed to eat at.
Always a pleasure staying at MotelOne Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. Very polite desk management at the morning, but not at the evening!
Clean, tidy and cozy room. Good A/C. Fridge would have been nice, to cool down the drinking water. As an member and i had two rooms payed for 3 nights, i would expect to have more than one bottle of free drinking water. Friendly service especially at 7th floor bar, so special thanks to them :)

Everything was great except for the check in process . The lady at the front desk was super unfriendly, did not give me any welcoming, no standard instruction about hotel, no wishing of a good stay - just gave me the key in silence.

In general, minimum standard was achieved. Meaning it was clean and served the purpose. However, realising that prices in general are rising, I still feel the quality of the facilities has fallen. Be it because of the interior deco is the bare minimum now (i.e. no safe, no bedside shelve w/ phone connection, less artwork in the main area). Particularly in the Düsseldorf Hbf facility, I felt more a “youth hostel” ambiance than in the Munich facilities. The other thought I have is that you are understaffed and it causes your staff that is working to be under stress. They are not able to provide certain services like preparing espresso at the bar in the morning hours. Only one person was present and she seemed pretty stressed out and the reception equally felt like they needed help. It makes a difference believe me because I ended up feeling stressed and I left feeling like not wanting to choose this facility the next time I am coming back to Düsseldorf. Perhaps increasing hourly wage would attract more workers thus a better service.
Far too expensive for what the accommodation offers. Mattress was at least adequate. The air conditioning wasn't working properly in 32° C temperatures. Breakfast is far too limited in selection for the price.
Very nice hotel, great location, good room. Specifically the efforts taken to highlight our anniversary was more and better than expected.
The room was relatively small and lacked basic amenities. There was no minibar to keep some water cold, and it didn't even have a wardrobe for our clothes. Additionally, the breakfast was extremely poor considering the room costs €155 per night; there was barely half a counter of food available. This is completely unjustified for a hotel of this category.

Really nice hotel with great service and staff. Breakfast was okey. Also the rooms where fresh and good propper AC. Only thing that was lacking is that there is no really close area for parking or such things if you are going by car or if or you are going to be picked up with taxi. Then again this is for me a very minor detail. All in all a very good hotel location close to many amenitys.
Jeg overnattede én nat på cloud one i Dusseldorf og kunne ikke have ønsket mig en bedre oplevelse. Allerede ved ankomsten blev jeg mødt af et smilende og hjælpsomt personale, der fik mig til at føle mig hjemme med det samme. Check-in gik hurtigt, og jeg blev positivt overrasket over, hvor rummeligt og smagfuldt indrettet værelset var. Sengen var utrolig komfortabel, og jeg sov som en drøm. Badeværelset var moderne, rent og veludstyret – med lækre toiletartikler og bløde håndklæder. Der var styr på detaljerne, hvilket gjorde opholdet ekstra behageligt. Morgenmaden næste morgen var også et højdepunkt – et stort udvalg af friske råvarer, hjemmelavede specialiteter og god kaffe. Atmosfæren i restauranten var rolig og indbydende, og personalet var opmærksomme uden at være påtrængende. Beliggenheden var perfekt – tæt på både bymidten og offentlig transport, men stadig roligt og afslappet. Alt i alt var det en fuldendt oplevelse, og jeg ville uden tøven booke her igen. Tak for et skønt ophold!
