Lovely hotel, good sized and comfy rooms
It is the 3rd we’ve stayed at a motel one and always enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable with a relaxing vibe and very friendly staff. We have since booked to stay at sister hotel in London.

Room was clean and everything which you require for a city trip. Only thing the smell from the bathroom was horrible, we couldnt leave the door open. Place is quite loud as well.

Overpriced ( yes I know it was marathon weekend ) but £318 was excessive for facilities provided. Room was clean and comfortable, towels lovely and fluffy. Mirror was far too narrow and positioned in totally inaccessible place for drying hair and applying makeup. Liked the bar area and all staff were very friendly

Great central location with lovely, helpful, friendly, happy staff. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are compact but very nice. Downside was the toilet was extremely squeaky!!
Clean and tidy
Not great ventilation in the bathroom and limited breakfast options. Despite paying for breakfast, my partner didn't eat which meant we had to find something elsewhere at an additional cost. Cleanliness was very good. A hairdryer would have been appreciated. The stay was ok but not amazing. We wouldn't return.
That was a great stay at your hotel. All stuff were really kind. Room and facilities were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!!!

I’ve stayed at Motel One St. Peter’s Square Manchester twice now, and it’s great value for money but looks and feels more luxurious. Staff are really helpful and friendly, and the luggage storage facility even after checking out is fantastic. Will definitely be staying there again in future 10/10

The bed sloped at about 45% angle as it was clearly not checked to see if the mattress had failed. I told the reception staff on checkout and he offered no kind of compensation. He just said he would ask maintenance to check it. The checkin was nice, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was expensive but nice. The communal carpets are disgusting and tired, the bedroom carpet also needs refreshing. It was clean though and quiet. Being a cellular black spot, wifi should be good. It wasn't. It was so poor, I couldn't do my scheduled physio appointment via video chat. When I told reception staff they said I couldn't have been logged in. (I am an IT tech, I know how to use wifi). I was connected but the data was so slow, it was unusable. Also, I am English. EVEWRY SINGLE TIME, I open the website, it defaults to German. It's not hard to select the native language. I find that both disrespectful and a little arrogant.
I couldn’t be happier with my stay at St Peter’s Square, Manchester. Reception was welcoming, efficient, friendly and professional. They afforded access to my room an hour ahead and put the second room in the booking on the same floor. The room was clean and had everything I wanted. Comfy bed, blackout curtains, plenty of good lighting and mirrors. The bathroom was clean and had high-quality fittings with absorbent towels. The bar was well-stocked and friendly. The only downside was the lounge area looked a bit scruffy - clean but dark and disorganised but this was one of the best hotel stays I have had and pleased for the opportunity to give a glowing report.

Stay was good. But was told at check in we would get sent invoices and we’ve still not received.
I have stayed in this hotel half a dozen times and cannot fault it. On this occasion the reception staff went over and above to help me.

I was unable to get any sleep due to the sound of running water rattling drains near my room - It sounded like the continuous run of a toilet. Otherwise the stay was satisfactory
This is the only hotel I stay at in Manchester and many other European cities. All of them are just what I need. One very important thing you need to change. Your pre-arrival check in website is in breach of the UK and EU GDPR. You expect people to provide sensitive information including date of birth and other, more importantly, passport number. I have spent 60 years travelling world-wide and still do. No other hotel demands this data, which can easily be stolen.
Good hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Good bar. No hot breakfast. For some reason all info / check-in etc.. came through in German??? Room could be cleaner, hadn't been hoovered, bathroom had debris from previous guest, shower not very powerful.
A nice hotel. The breakfast didn't have the best variety and a bit expensive, I guess due to very late booking.

Everyone was really helpful. Very friendly and nothing was too much bother. The reception staff and Robert the janitor were great. Shout out to the Barman on Sunday night (sorry forgot to ask his name) was brilliant. His recommendations for gin was superb!!
Excellent stay again- such a quiet hotel for a city centre location (because it’s on St Peter’s Square). Appreciate that the cups in the room have been significantly upgraded from the flimsy/dangerous paper ones to bigger, sturdy plastic ones. Would still prefer proper ceramic mugs, though. Would prefer jugs of real fruit juice for breakfast instead of the horrible machine-mix concentrates, which taste a bit like horribly sweet cough medicine. Even basic cartons of supermarket long-life juice would be a massive step up from what’s on offer, juice-wise. Fabulous pastries - real-deal croissants & absolutely gorgeous fresh fruit salad.

Very nice hotel, great location in the middle of town but still pretty quiet. Staff very friendly, especially the lady who cares for the breakfast buffet. Liked also a lot that the had a in-room safe, reusable cups in the room and more option to store and hang clothes. The lobby was spacious but too dark. A bit lighter couours would fresh up

Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptional. From front desk to housekeeping to bar tenders— everyone was friendly, accommodating, and solutions oriented. You have hired some fantastic people and clearly provided quality customer service trainings. Please extend our thanks to them! Also loved the central and safety of the location.

Zeer gastvrij ontvangen en dat is het hele verblijf zo gebleven! Prachtige kamer en mooie lobby waar je heerlijk kunt zitten (werken). Heerlijk ontbijt.
Zeer fijne ontvangst (ondanks het feit dat we iets te vroeg waren, konden we onze bagage achterlaten en later inchecken wanneer de kamers vrij waren). Zeer vriendelijke staff aan het onthaal en in de bar !
Aangenaam hotel. Concept van ontbijt in de zeteljes van de foyer origineel en leuk. Aangename kamers.

Prima hotel op een mooie plek in het centrum. Uitstekende bar en vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was niet heel groot, maar dat wisten wij van te voren.
Ik was vroeger dan voorzien aangekomen in het hotel en gelukkig was er al een kamer klaar voor mij, dankzij het online inchecken. De medewerkster aan het onthaal was heel klantvriendelijk en spontaan. Maar ook ieder andere medewerker was heel attent! Locatie is TOP. Het hotel ligt heel centraal. Ik blijf fan van Motel1One!

Prima locatie in het centrum van manchester, snelle incheck, Mooi ingerichte kamer, ondanks vriendelijke prijs voelde het als een luxe hotel. Heel goed geslapen op het comfortabele bed. Fijn dat het raam open kan, hou niet van geairconditioneerde kamers waarbij raam niet open kan. Papieren bekers voor thee wat minder maar begrijp dat ik zo'n groot hotel het ook wel makkelijk is. Zou zeker nog een keer overwegen om in deze keten een overnachting te boeken.

Ligging en omgeving
Hotel Manchester-St. Peter's Square
Chesterfield meubels, indrukwekkende boekenplanken en geruite dessins stralen Britse gezelligheid uit in ons derde hotel in Manchester, Motel One Manchester-St Peter's Square. Loop dus gewoon binnen voor een kopje thee, voordat je vanuit ons designhotel op ontdekkingstocht in de stad gaat. Ons Motel One Manchester-St. Peter's Square is het ideale uitgangspunt om Cottonopolis, zoals Manchester vanwege zijn verleden als centrum van de katoenindustrie ook wel wordt genoemd, te gaan verkennen. Als je heel specifieke plannen hebt en een stukje moet rijden, bijvoorbeeld naar het Old Trafford voetbalstadion voor een wedstrijd, dan kun je de tram meteen bij de halte op St. Peter's Square nemen. Ons Motel One is niet alleen qua openbaar vervoer ideaal gelegen, maar dankzij de centrale ligging is het bovendien bij uitstek geschikt voor iedereen die graag zonder plannen en spontaan zijn neus achterna wil gaan. Want vanuit ons designhotel wandel je regelrecht naar Chinatown of het levendige Gay Village.

In de directe omgeving van ons betaalbare hotel is nog meer te doen. Tal van hoogtepunten die de stad te bieden heeft, zijn te voet in slechts een paar minuten te bereiken: het Palace Theatre, de Manchester Art Gallery, de St. Mary's Church, het Science & Industry Museum. Alles dus, wat het hart van kunst- en cultuurliefhebbers begeert. Vooral boekenwurmen en architectuurliefhebbers komen nabij ons hotel aan hun trekken. Wat dacht je van een bezoekje aan de Portico Library, de John Rylands Library, de Central Library of gewoon aan alle drie? Ze liggen niet alleen op loopafstand, maar zijn ook zowel van buiten als van binnen het bekijken meer dan waard.
Ook zakenreizigers hebben het met ons gunstig geprijsde hotel in Manchester goed getroffen. De luchthaven kan snel en zonder overstappen met het openbaar vervoer bereikt worden. In ons designhotel zelf bieden wij je handige in- en uitchecktijden en gratis wifi aan, zodat je tijdens je verblijf efficiënt kunt werken en, ondanks eventuele deadlines, toch nog kunt ontspannen. Het Manchester Central Convention Complex met zijn conferenties, beurzen en evenementen is binnen vijf minuten te voet bereikbaar. Zo verlies je tijdens je reis geen kostbare tijd en kun je na het werk toch genieten van een heerlijk koel biertje.

Ongeacht hoe je agenda er in Manchester uitziet, hetzij volgepland met bezienswaardigheden of zakelijke afspraken: bij ons begin je de dag lekker uitgerust en goed gesterkt. Want ons betaalbare designhotel beschikt niet alleen over moderne kamers met heerlijke boxspringbedden, maar er staat ook elke ochtend een uitgebreid ontbijt klaar met een gevarieerd aanbod aan regionale, vegetarische en veganistische specialiteiten.
En 's avonds, voordat je je boxspringbed opzoekt, is het de moeite waard om nog even onze lounge met bar te bezoeken. Hier vind je snacks (zoals heerlijke toasts) en uiteraard ook drankjes (zoals eersteklas gin tonics) voor een ander soort ‘toast’. Op Manchester dus!
