We were not happy with the ventilation or the room or bathroom. Elena in reception moved us to a bigger room that we were able to open the windows to allow air into the room. We were very happy with this and Elena's friendliness and helpfulness. She made the stay the best possible. Ventilation systems should be upgraded to air conditioning.
Extraordinary staff at check-in an bar; very comfortable kingside bed; very neat and clean; affordable parking, but could use better sign-posting; housekeeping enters room despite „Do not disturb“ sign at the door and without adequate notice

Most facilities were satisfactory overall. However, it was disappointing that the bar closes at midnight, as it is advertised to operate 24 hours and this is typically the case in other Motel One hotels. Additionally, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness standards.

We had an excellent two-day stay at the Motel One Deutsches Museum Munich. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful and we were even able to go into the room around midday. Clearly, this is not always possible, but when the room is actually available, it's really nice if staff permit access. The whole booking and checking-in process directly through the website was very smooth, the room was just as expected and good value for money and internet access through WLAN fast. And it was really pleasant that snacks are available at the bar in the evening, albeit not much choice and fairly expensive. The lounge area is lovely with lots of space, interesting variety of sitting options. We did not book breakfast as there was only an all-you-can-eat option, which was pretty expensive if you don't want to eat much. It also looked a bit stressy, but we found a great breakfast café around the corner. During the first night there was noise from the ventilation system, but when reported the next morning the technician came at once and fixed it. Overall, I would certainly recommend the Motel Ones.
Hotel staff and bar was really good but the room was extremely small. With 2 adults and 1 child there was no space to move around. Even bathroom was very small but somehow manageable. We stayed for 4 nights but after second night there was no cleaning of the room/ bathroom so we were not happy about it. It was however resolved on day 3. The additional sofa bed for child was not comfortable. The main bed was fine. In terms of location it’s a bit of walk about 10 minutes from Rosenheimer Platz.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, except for the issue with the room size. Just a few days earlier we had stayed at a budget-style hotel, and even then, the rooms there were considerably larger. The room was very clean, though the choice of carpeted flooring can be problematic for anyone with allergies. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety and everything fresh, although the price felt a bit high for what was offered. The staff were excellent — especially the receptionist Elena, who provided outstanding service and was exceptionally kind and friendly. Unfortunately, what brings the rating down is the price-to-value mismatch. As pleasant as the stay was, such a small room without basic amenities like a minibar, coffee maker, or electric kettle really shouldn’t cost that much.
Missed a hot water cattle or fridge in the room
Overall, it was a nice experience. Although one day, even though I did not want my room to be cleaned, it was cleaned anyways. Hot water started not working after 2 days. Therefore, there was no hot water in my room for 3 days, which was pretty frustrating...
J'ai apprécié au global. Petit déj: très bien. En point d'amélioration: oreiller trop dur + couette courte (étant habituée au couchage français, je n'apprécie pas les petites couettes allemandes non bordées au bout du lit, où les pieds sortent et se refroidissent et vous réveillent pendant la nuit)

Services were good. The breakfast organisation needs still improvement because the people having their breakfast between 7 to 8 literally behave like schoolchildren, they are annoying and lousy and they can’t wait their turn till they get the food . Typical middle working class . Also many tables were not cleaned after people were finished breakfast and gone. This is not a good image of a hotel chain claiming to be top.

Sleek and stylish. Very clean. Tiny room. No hot water kettle which is standard in most hotels in Germany. Since I was traveling alone, it was fine as the room can only fit one person with one suitcase. Can't see myself staying in that room again with my husband due to size limitation. One of us would have to jump on the bed in order to pass by the narrow space between the wall and the bed.

The hotels layout and design was great, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was conveniently located. Our room was nice and clean, however the 8th floor hallway had a potent smell to it, that was not pleasing.

I had another wonderful stay during my business trip. The location is perfect. Close enough to reach Munich city center easily, yet tucked away near the peaceful Isar. A big thank you to Vesna and Maya! They always make me feel right at home, especially during breakfast. Their warm and friendly service really makes the mornings enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality.
Check-in staff was very helpful and kind. Restaurant/bar staff less so. We had housekeeping one time in 4 nights and they didn't not remove dirty dishes. The room needs drawers, closet, fridge, or coffee maker.

I always stay at Motel One Deutsches Museum - location is great near the Isar. Usually the price is competitive - except around Oktoberfest. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good - I would recommend that the hard boiled eggs are properly hard boiled - they are too soft for my liking.
No cool air conditioning in the room. We were told the air conditioning was set only to heat. We had to get a portable fan / air conditioner from reception from staff member that was rude and made us wait for a long time. Portable evaporative cooler air conditioner was not efficient enough to cool room. Small rooms with very little storage for our personal items. We asked for a quiet room and were put on a very busy 4th floor. We could clearly hear people in the corridor and doors being closed.

Hôtel parfait et très convivial. Un seul défaut : le manque de rangement dans la chambre, seulement 2 petites étagères qui de plus sont trop hautes.
Globalement l'hotel est bien situé, les chambres sont bien et fonctionnelles. Très silencieuses. C'est beau. le ^personnel est serviable. Cette fois-ci, la télécommande de la TV ne fonctionnait pas (donc très difficile de désactiver le "feu" pour dormir), et l'évacuation de la douche était très encombrée (et l'eau s'évacuait mal). Lorsque je l'ai dit à l'accueil au check-out, ils ont eu l'air de le noter pour immédiatement pour pouvoir agir ensuite.
Je viens régulièrement séjourner au Motel One de Munichà chacun de mes séjours à Munich. Beaucoup de points forts, comme la chambre, le design global des parties communes. Et deux points faibles , la queue chaque fois à l'arrivée, même si vous êtes enregistré préalablement, pour récupérer votre badge et votre chambre, et au petit déjeuner, le fait qu'il n'y ait que des œufs à la coque trop cuits, et non mollets. Chambre et salle de bain beaucoup trop petite. Bon petit -déjeuner mais les tables sont trop serrées. Pas de toilette au niveau du restaurant petit déjeuner, il faut aller au sous-sol près de l"entrée du parking. Mauvaise conception de l'hôtel. Parking très étroit et dangereux pour les grosses voitures
Bon hotel pour un séjour touristique de 3 jours, proche du centre. Service aimable et efficace, parking gardé, excellent petit déjeuner (manque tout de même un grille pain !). Propreté irréprochable, très bonne literie. Seul bémol, la chambre est minuscule, pratiquement sans rangement, avec un meuble à angle vif où je me suis blessé. Impossible de se tenir à deux dans la salle de bain. Dommage, l'hôtel serait top sans ce défaut de conception.
La chambre était fonctionnelle. Une bouilloire et un set de café/thé aurait été un plus indéniable. Les parties communes étaient mal entretenues. La réception était débordée et le check-in trop long malgré mon inscription préalable en ligne.
Très bonne accessibilité, proche des transports en commun et au calme.
Parfait en tous points comme à Vienne et Berlin. Mention spéciale à Mathilde pour son sourire et son entrain.

Afin de réveiller le « rat de bibliothèque » qui sommeille en vous, nous avons intégré une belle bibliothèque dans le One Lounge dont les étagères comportent des maquettes miniatures scientifiques du Deutsches Museum.
