Rooms and cleaning is okay, but as mentioned before as I stay here a couple times a year for business: Breakfast room is way to small, had to wait again for a table, many people where looking.... Same at the bar, we left again as there was no seats free or table to stand on, we where with business people and needed to have drink in the city..... Our company suggested another hotel next time.
Ideale Lage
Three comments: 1) Matresses were way too soft 2) There was a third bed made up in the room, not sure for who (we definitely did not order that) and it made the small room even smaller. 3) Parking: Staff need to be educated on how to deal with the parking in the event that no parking ticket is issued. In that instance guests now forfeit the 13 Euro discount. Not customer centric to leave the customer to their own devices trying to find solutions.
The room was adequate, but lacked some basics like a water cooker and a fridge. We hated the separate duvet for a couple. The water pressure wasn’t good, and the hair drier was terrible. Service wasn’t very friendly at reception, but better in the breakfast room. In general fine but wouldn’t stay again.

Our stay at Motel One was outstanding. Ms. Victoria and her colleagues were superb! I will definitely stay at Motel One Post whenever I visit Leipzig again.
located centrally in Leipzig, dedicated staff at checkin, clean rooms, comfortable bed, very customer oriented (i wanted to change my pillow to a softer one, solved within few minutes. Roof top bar with dedicated staff.

Clean. Loved the lobby, breakfast and bar. The towels were very tiny and with just one, it was hard to dry my hair and body.
Rooms as expected and Restaurant as well, however it was to crowded and not enough space!

nice room with high ceiling; bigger than expected; clean; breakfast okay; pleasant stay; improvements could be made on: breakfast - marmalades got empty; some additional kind of dry fruits would be beneficial; different tea supplier, taste of tea was pure standard from supermarket please add somebody to the bar in the evening; the amount of people cannot be served adequate with only one person/waiter; it is not the employee, he was doing the best, it is too few manpower for that big area to have a proper service. or stop serving to tables, switch to the system: order at the counter,pay at the counter,clean desks when clients are gone

Top value for money. Nice room, great airconditioning (not a luxury that 1 day we got 38 degrees). Well situated, great rooftop bar, direct access from the (public) underground parking, only 10 euros/24h. Bottle of water, with a choice of still or sparkling, at check-in. A glass would be nice though (cardboard cups? no thanks). Water pressure in teh shower could be more convincing.

Very good impression from the stay, clean, neat, comfortable bed, nice facilities. Only deduction for breakfast since this offered a very limited assortment, and slightly understaffed bar.
L'emplacement idéal, le sublime rooftop, l'accueil à notre arrivée à la réception. Seul petit bémol, le pommeau de douche de la salles de bain qui ne changeait plus les jets, le bouton devait-êtrecassé ? L'amabilité du service au rooftop aurait pu être encore plus sympathique.

there was no hair conditioner in my room or any toothpaste. I asked for it after the first day and was told the staff will bring it to the room until the evening but they haven't. And then i found out that the hair dryer also wasn't working, so ignored request by staff and this made me feel like i don't want to stay at Motel one again.

You have to have additional internet routers as a backup, so you may fix internet issues quickly.
Very good room: conditions great (felt like we were one of the first guests), cleaned with eye for detail. Not big, but efficient furniture and fixtures, i.e. enough sockets, cloth hangers etc. Quiet. Comfortable bed. 👍🏻 Breakfast below par, mainly due to worn out, dirty and very uncomfy low chairs. Breakfast lounge untidy and very hot. We preferred having breakfast at the backerei next door. Nice and attentive front desk staff. All in all a very nice stay, thanks!!

Rooms to the streets are noisy due the the very noisy tram. First room was a corder room (522) with double noise, after compaining got a better with only on street side, so I could sleep.

I had to checkout at 5am, and the prepared lunch box on the day of checkout was very sweet. I don’t remember her name but the staff who checked me in was very friendly and helpful!

Situation
Hôtel Leipzig-Post
Notre hôtel de Leipzig présente deux particularités. Non seulement il situé sur la Augustusplatz, et donc à proximité immédiate de l’opéra, de l’église Saint-Nicolas et du Gewandhaus, mais vous serez également à côté du musée Grassi des arts appliqués et d’ethnologie, ainsi que de la Maison de Mendelssohn. Cependant, l’emplacement privilégié de notre hôtel design n’est pas la seule chose dont vous pouvez vous réjouir, loin de là. À moins que vous n’ayez déjà séjourné dans un bureau de poste, peut-être ? C’est bien ce que nous pensions ! Vous en avez désormais l’occasion. En effet, notre Motel One Leipzig Post a insufflé une nouvelle vie au bâtiment classé de l’ancienne poste centrale de Leipzig. Construit en 1964, il a pendant des années servi de siège aux services de télégraphie, de courrier et des colis postaux. Auparavant, ce terrain abritait déjà depuis le XVIIIe siècle un relais pour les diligences, la poste aux chevaux et, plus tard, la Reichspost.
Le concept design de notre hôtel de Leipzig a donc lui aussi été élaboré autour du thème de la poste : Quoi de plus évident que de perpétuer cette tradition à l’intérieur ? Dès la réception, vous serez accueillis par des cors postaux dorés ainsi qu’une boîte aux lettres d’époque. Quant aux plafonniers signés Ingo Maurer et Gubi, ils évoquent les bulletins de télégramme et les fanfares postales. Autant de touches qui, à l’heure de l’e-mail et autres canaux instantanés, produisent un effet presque romantique. Des tables d’appoint en forme de colis aux tapis ornés de motifs de timbres, en passant par les collages à base de cartes postales : connu pour ses prix abordables, notre hôtel de Leipzig regorge de détails à découvrir. En plus de tout le confort que vous connaissez déjà de nos autres Motel One, cela va de soi, c’est-à-dire un petit-déjeuner bio, des lits boxspring haute de gamme, un élégant bar proposant des boissons recherchées... Nous vous en donnons notre parole.
